We have been coming to Velocity for about seven months, and it’s a fantastic facility. My son primarily trains with Thurman, and he is amazing — the best trainer my son has ever had. Thurman is especially outstanding when it comes to defensive training. He has a deep understanding of technique, positioning, and footwork, and he knows how to break it all down in a way that my son can understand and apply. My son has improved tremendously under his guidance.

He was nervous at first because he’s younger than a lot of the other athletes who train here, but everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, from the trainers to the athletes. Velocity has created an incredible culture for training.

I brought my son here at the recommendation of his coach after spring practice his first season of football in 8th grade. We did 10 private sessions with a coach and when fall practice his coaches were blown away by his progression. We just signed up for an annual package to get ready for 9th grade. I’d been following Velocity for about 2 years on social media. At the time, my son was only 10 so not really ready for the level of training that they provide. However, after watching the videos of the coaches work with top level O and D lineman from across the country, I knew there was no place I’d rather take him when the time came. We went for a week of training sessions in the spring and it was to say the least, one of the best decisions I’ve made as a parent in terms of getting my son closer to where he needs to be. We live in Delaware if that’s any indication of how far we’re willing to travel for what Coach Josh and Coach Luke provide. We are so grateful for both of them that we’ll be making the trip every year during my son’s football journey. This is the place if you’re looking for some of the best in the business training lineman.
