Not worth it if you're into boxing. They close down half the gym when there's a massage in place. Why did they build the massage room right across the boxing room when they're concerned about the noise? I don't know, but the boxing room is empty and I can't use it. What's worse is that there's no notification for when a massage is taking place. I drove here for half an hour only to find out the massage is not going to be done until another two and a half hours.

We love our gym! Location-wise this works great for me because it's close to work and in my way home. I never have trouble getting in and out of the area. Parking is reserved in the structure for members and they have a shuttle during daytime hours to and from the building if the walk is too much or it's raining.

The facility is well cared for and clean. Women's locker rooms recently received an update. There are private spas and saunas for men and women and massage services on-site.

We use the pool for water aerobics. The classes are well attended but never crowded, signups are online and I've never found I couldn't get in. The staff is caring and on-time, and there is plenty of workout equipment provided. There are many other fitness classes and services that we haven't tried yet.

Overall, we are so happy we found Health Place. Problems we have had with other facilities don't happen here. It's easy to get in and out. The indoor walking track is a plus in the summer.

Been a member since 2018, and it’s a place I consider my second home. I’ve been a gym rat for 20+ years and this place is a breath of fresh air. This isn’t your 10$ a month club, this is better than that.
Free classes everyday, childcare, indoor pool, steam room, sauna, newer well kept equipment, group fitness rooms including a spin room and yoga studio, medical personnel with professional trainers, racket and pickleball courts, professional masseuse, I’m probably forgetting a few other things.

The health club is for everyone, and when I started coming here it was mostly elderly and nurses. I have been here through remodeling and upgrading, happy to see my money going to good use. This place is clean and has plenty of room. Only crowded Monday- Wednesday right after work. The members here are awesome people. Some have been coming for decades. Most of the staff is super nice always willing to help. They have something here for everyone. This isn’t one of those gyms you sign up and never go….this is your home away from home.

When you are hurting, and you need a professional grade massage, please book with Felicia at Wellstar Place. I have seen her several times. Last time I was having shoulder pain she told me I had an impinged nerve. I didn’t believe her. Instead, I spent $1200 on two surgeons and MRIs only to find out she’s exactly right. Now we’ve begun a treatment plan and I feel some relief after the first session. This lady really knows her stuff.

When we cancelled our membership, we were not told to turn in our key fobs- no one mentioned it. We were then charged $40. We called and were told it was for the fobs, and we said we could bring them in- it had only been a month. They refused to take them nor refund the charge. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE- You can do better!

This an amazing place for overall physical health. I wish I had learned about it sooner so my mom could join. The staff is super friendly and the private PT sessions for my mom are great. I dont feel like the facility is well maintained, theres holes, scuffs, dings, and damage to every surface. Locker rooms and common areas are a dump.

Weight area is as minimal and small as it gets. Hours are narrow because of staffing.

I dont particularly like the staff they have, if its even raining outside they will close their INDOOR pool and im sure its more of a “they dont feel like having it open” thing. They close it almost every single time i go, even if its just cloudy.

Then comes the rates, with all this considered, 45-55$ a month is farrrrrrrr too much for what they offer which is not much. Then when i have family in town its 25 dollars.

Their fees are predatory and unfair a very high price for the amenities offered

And lastly, they have barely any AC in their excercise room. Its humid and miserable in there. This gym compared to crunch or onelife, just really no comparison. It needs major TLC and staff changes

Health Place is a great place to work out. They have all the necessary equipment (machines, free weights, bikes, treadmills, etc.). An indoor pool and track, exercise classes, full locker rooms, helpful staff, all at a reasonable price (I get the senior rate for myself and my wife). Late morning time is mainly for the older crowd, like me but a lot of folks come before and after work. Not a meat market like some gyms. There also have child care if you need it. I like to walk the dog in the earlier morning and work out later in the morning two to three times a week. Seems to really help. I highly recommend it.

But if you need a gym that's not full of meatheads and that has excellent, experienced and well-trained staff available then this is your place to go. They keep everything clean and updated and there's plenty of classes and equipment for everyone. Nice gym, horribly rude manager. I’m not sure if she’s rude to young women or black people in general. I enjoy the peace here when she’s not around, I’ve never given this rude manly lady any reason to be so harsh and disrespectful. After my encounter with her I had to sit and gather myself due to the way I wanted to respond, I simply left instead. Speak to people with respect, everyone won’t walk away as I did. New members aren’t familiar with your culture or rules, politely advising things should be practiced. I literally left with no workout and returned home, simply not allowing you to ruin my day. I hope you see this.

Very inviting gym. Has a pool, racket ball, a full gym and track. Classes are free to sign up for most of the time, like 90% of the time. And they are great classes. The instructors help and provide feedback. Best gym I have been to.

The online portal is a little unfriendly but it gets the job done. It's nice being able to reserve rooms and lanes for swimming so there's no issues to deal with. Every one is pretty respectful as well.

I joined this gym a few months ago as a 40-something, needing to expand my workouts and needing someplace to go as the daylight gets shorter. It's been perfect!
