Good, affordable place to practice yoga in Atlanta. I love that the practice rooms aren't overheated. Shannon's classes are the best for a challenging and renewing practice.

I have been to quite a few yoga studios and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this one! The instructor was very detailed and encouraging. The class was a great challenge but she gave options for modifying to fit everyone’s needs (even if you needed more challenge). The design of the studio was beautiful-especially the lighting (those hanging infrared lights for heat were amazing!). Thanks for rocking it!

Started on a 30 day pass. I went to 4 classes and 3 out of the 4 never chanted OM. I left before the fourth class because I was told that chanting would disturb the other students. So the Opening Prayer for Yoga would disturb students in a yoga studio?

One out of three asked the class in the beginning if they had any injuries or ailments. A question that should be asked before every single class. This gives the instructor a better understanding of where their students are and if they need give modifications for certain postures.

I was hoping for a more authentic experience but sadly this isn’t the studio for me.

The facility was nice though.

I’ve practiced yoga on and off the last three years at many different studios in Atlanta, and this is by far my favorite. The main reasons Westside is a standout: it’s not crazy hot (it’s so hard to find power yoga that isn’t 95+ degrees), its not super crowded, and it’s not a super fast flow (some studios flow so quickly, you almost lose track of your practice). I started going to Westside after an Achilles injury caused by running HIIT uphill. It’s been two months that I have consistently practiced and my strength has improved immensely and my injury is almost completely healed. This is the only studio I’ve ever been able to attend very consistently (going to my 5th class this week tomorrow). Love this studio, especially the 6am burn classes!! Highly recommend for anyone at any level of yoga.

What I liked most about my experience was Gabrielle.I absolutely LOVED my class. It had been a while since I've done yoga and I was feeling a bit intimidated but once she came into the room her energy was welcoming and calming. She also pays attention to make sure your posture is correct without you feeling embarrassed. She's encouraging and positive. The facility is clean, attractive and modern. When I came in I was greeted and was informed about another class (which I switched to) that they were offering and I didn't feel rushed.I will definitely be back and tell others.

I started out at Westside having never attended a yoga class before, in hopes that it would help me with my nagging back issues. I was hooked from the start, not only because of the excellence of the teaching staff, the variety of classes, but most importantly because of the overall effect it had on my physical health and personal stress levels. I found that my back issues were immediately alleviated, as were other issues I hadn't even considered. In addition, there is nothing better in the evenings than refocusing your energy and sweating out a long, taxing work day. I continue to benefit from my experiences there, and I cannot recommend Westside Yoga enough, especially for newcomers.

It was my very first time trying yoga! I've been SO out of shape with some recent minor health issues along with anxiety and stress. I was told Yoga would likely help with these issues so I figured I'd give it a shot. I loved it!! ❤️ I'm glad I decided to choose Westside for my first time. Not only was the studio clean, warm, and enviting (with very tasteful decor I might add 😉) but I was super impressed with the instructor, Amanda! To be honest, as a newbie I was worried that I wouldn't be able to follow along and I'd wind up embarrassing myself... But the instructor went at a nice pace that seemed comfortable for everyone, including myself. She was also very helpful with certain poses. I loved her style of teaching. I'll definitely be back!! Thank you!

A safe space to be yourself, work on your health, and relax. Power is a workout, but restore is everything my soul has needed for years. All the instructors are very nice and meet you exactly where you are in your yoga journey.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of this studio, and the instructors are incredibly attentive to the energy of each class. The Restore class on Sundays has become a staple in my routine for the past 3 years. Love this studio, and what it brings to the community.

My home away from home! Highly recommend this studio. All of the teachers are amazing. You can get your sweat on in a power or energize class and get your zen on with flow or restore. There’s always something on the schedule that will give you what you need to fill your cup back up after a long day.

I went to four classes in the first week that I practiced at Westside yoga. It is welcoming and instructors are extremely consistent so it doesn’t matter which class I attend, I know that I will have a positive practice that day. I love it. Class sizes are small which also are a big plus.

I love everything about the studio - the teachers, the vibe, the class mix. Everyone feels welcome, it is not stuffy or elite, yet it still manages to challenge you and bring you deeper in your practice. If you live nearby, you should definitely make this your studio.

I decided to try Westside Yoga because they had a really great deal for 30 days unlimited to try them out, and I’m planning on buying a membership. I’ve only taken a few classes but have been very happy with all the teachers, and the environment, and the culture at the studio. They have lots of different types of classes, a variety of teachers, and several classes before noon which has been so wonderful! I’m coming off of some injuries, and felt comfortable modifying my practice in the classes I took in order to listen to my body; sometimes you just don’t get that everywhere. Also a couple of other pros...sign in is easy and parking is ample.

Westside Yoga was the first yoga studio I visited when we moved to Atlanta, and it immediately felt like home to me. The consistent class times and formats, the music, and the tone of the classes are grounding. The experience is consistent across all teachers—everyone is fantastic and I feel great in every class I take. Heads up: the restore classes are a balm for the body and soul!!

I recently left another yoga studio due to their schedule not working with mine, and I was super nervous about trying a new studio but decided to give Westside a go because of their intro price for new students (I think $49 for a month of classes). I can happily see I’ve found a new yoga home! I’ve taken three classes with three different teachers and every single teacher and class has been wonderful. The space is beautiful and feels very peaceful. I’m SO happy I gave this place a go! Would definitely suggest it to anyone in the area looking to find a studio to call home.

As an apprehensive male in his mid 30’s who had never tried Yoga before I found Westside Yoga (WSY) to be surprisingly accommodating of this. It is a warm, inviting and judgement free place to be able to find your practice at, regardless of your prior experience with Yoga. I found the WSY teachers to be well educated, patient and once again, surprisingly accommodating of what I was hoping to achieve physically, mentally and spiritually. They offer a top notch service, a clean and inviting facility and a staff adept at attuning to the needs of their clientele. What WSY offers has helped me to adopt and sustain a healthier life and I am grateful to have such a place in my community.

Simply put, Westside Yoga radiates joy. Everyone, from the incredible teachers to the desk staff, is so welcoming and kind fostering a true sense of community. You will not find cookie cutter practitioners here, but rather good folks from all walks of life. Each class is thoughtfully tailored to cover the spectrum of experience in the room with stellar playlists to boot. The wide gamut of classes and times offered are also fantastic for those of us with unpredictable days and bodies, who might want FLOW one day and BURN the next. The studio space itself is beautifully designed, with clean lines and a simple color palette. After practicing at Westside for over a year, I've transformed inside and out. This is, by far, not the closest yoga studio to my home, but I choose to drive further because of how much I love this place.

I have been a member of Westside Yoga for 14 months and it is a fabulous place. The classes are challenging and you learn something new every single time. There is not an instructor that I wouldn’t recommend. This is my first and only experience with yoga, so I don’t have much to compare to, but I can’t recommend this place enough. I walked in nervous and inexperienced and have consistently gone back for over six months now! They are really are welcoming, but also don’t single you out to make you self-conscious. Just a great vibe and I love the classes. I can physically see that I’m improving in strength, flexibility, and balance — 100 percent because of going to this studio consistently. (My favorite classes are Strong, Burn, and Energize). They have a new, bigger space and tons of classes for any level. I’m only leaving a review because I love this place that much. If you’re thinking about going, do it!

I love love love Sarah’s class! My first yoga class was in Tulum and the teachers were amazing. I felt peaceful and in touch with myself after each class, especially after the class with Dee. However, I struggled to find a good yoga studio/teacher that would induce such harmonious body and mind sensation after I came back to the US (I’ve searched ATL and San Francisco) until I found Westside Studio and Sarah❤️
Maybe it is just me but I think there is a perfect formula in how a yoga class should be run because the body is easy to take care of but to please the mind, it takes more work. The perfect formula comes from the combination of the practice environment, the posts, the sequence of the posts, the music, the type of the music and its volume and most importantly how the teacher guides her/his students in the class. At the end of the class, the body is soaked in sweat but the mind is relaxed and rejoiced and that’s what I call a perfect yoga class.
I am pretty new to yoga and I’ve only been to this yoga studio a few times but I know I will be sticking with them as long as I live in ATL!

Best Yoga Studio in Atlanta! ALL of the instructors are experienced, friendly and provide adjustments based on individual needs. There is consistency in the instructors schedules, which I appreciate. You’ll get out of it what you put into it - some classes are more fitnesss focused than others. STRONG & BURN to sweat and push your practice or FLOW & RESTORE for long hold stretches to calm your mind and self. No matter the class, you’ll sweat and stretch and leave with a sense of accomplishment & peace. The look & feel of the studio is modern, fresh, calm and clean. It’s a welcoming yoga studio and a cherished addition to our Westside neighborhood.

Westside yoga is a great choice if you're looking for a studio to make home. I've only just begun my practice around four months ago and Westside has become my happy place. The owner Amber is super sweet and generous with her business to her yogis & employees and teachers are all lovely. My favourite class is Strong with Sarah, but I also enjoy Energise with Lacey. There's a family & community vibe to this place that I highly recommend

Westside yoga is one of the best yoga studios in Atlanta; non-negotiable, end of story! I love their unique and balanced classes, and their mode of instruction that emphasizes holding the postures rather than rushing through with too many unnecessary vinyasa flows. They are genuinely beginner-level friendly and non-judgmental. Amber, the owner is very personable and welcoming. They have a warm ambiance, cool instructors, awesome music and challenging, sweaty classes! Only complaint: they do not efficiently manage the number of people coming in for each class, especially during the rush hours. Their current studio is much smaller in comparison to their older place and it simply doesn't hold more than 20 people comfortably. I've been to classes with 30 people congested together in the small studio place. It gets really cramped during evenings and there's no place to spread out for certain poses. More recently though, newer classes have been added to their schedule. Hopefully, this eliminates the over crowding during the rush evening hours and weekends.
