This gym is disgusting and no staff is ever there. Randomly shut down a week for repairs only to come back with no water (no signs posted either, so any bathroom activities just happened and couldn't be flushed), several broken machines still broken. No toilet paper. Similar or the same experience for months at this point. Really wondering what the owners point is with having this gym open.

I signed up for a membership online and was told via email to come in and get my keycard. Went in the next around noon, no staff. Door says staff hours are 9-8. Went in later that day around 6p, no staff still. Fortunately the owners son was there and let us work out. Left my info for communication. Got a phone call today and no one left a message. Went back again today and still no one there!! Called and left a message to receive a call back and still nothing. Needless to say, I have cancelled my membership and would not recommend this gym.

Most of the tv’s haven’t been on for months and the ones on are showing promotional advertisements. Only a couple spray bottles to clean machines. I don’t expect much from a gym but come on, working tv’s and cleaning spray shouldn’t be too much to ask for. Very disappointing! Would NOT recommend this gym.

Update: they charged me AGAIN AFTER I CANCELLED. That’s 2 charges after I cancelled. DO NOT GIVE THIS GYM YOUR BUSINESS.Don’t get a membership here. Even after you cancel, they charge you all kinds of fees and they charge you again. Whoever the trainer is that signed me up was not clear about any of the charges. If I could give them 0 stars, that would be generous. Don’t go there

I don't understand how this place has good reviews. The place is dirty, equipment is old, and staff clearly can't be bothered to provide good customer service. I used to go to Town Center and was pleased with the experience but since this one is closer to me I decided to start coming here. Last year during the summer their AC or ventilation wasn't working properly because every time I went in it was warm and humid and the smell from the cigar bar was unbearable (it was after 11 PM so I don't know if they were turning it off or something). I couldn't workout like that so I didn't come back for months. Since I started going again I've noticed that their equipment is often dirty. I saw a spider's web the other day on a machine that someone used just a week ago. Do they rely on members cleaning and dusting the equipment? Gross. I convinced a relative to get a 14 day pass online to check out the gym before signing up for a membership and the guy at the front desk completely ignored us for 20 minutes. He was talking to another member I guess but he couldn't be bothered to greet us, let us know how long we would have to wait, or even aknowledge our presence. She left very upset and I felt embarrassed for even suggesting this place. And they don't show up during business hours on the weekends.

this has been a nightmare Do not join this gym. My teenage son joined this gym. It was suppose to be for 3 months prior to him leaving for college. First of all he was to pay 9.95 a month but was talked into the “better” package for $29.95. He paid $59.95 to join which made no since because it was a 9.95 to join?!! Well 4 months later he’s still being charged and also charged a $58 fee for administration charges! I have been told numerous times that would be credited but of course 2 months later it hasn’t happened. And guess what he was charged another monthly fee last night after I was told numerous times his account was frozen for 6 months since he is already in college. Well bottom line the manager there has been nothing but a smooth talker and given me the run around since the end of June. Supposedly they have new owners and are “straightening the place up”! I know to many it’s not a lot of money but it is for a college kid who worked hard all summer to save for college. The worst part is I told him not to join there but it was convenient to his work. Bottom line is they took advantage of a young man. Beware they’ll take advantage of anyone. And I’m sick of the manager lying to me every time I call saying his money is going to be credited!!

The gym is ALWAYS clean and the energy to get healthy is AMAZING! L.P. and Trevor are 2 of the best trainers and people I have the pleasure of knowing. I could not have chosen a better gym!!! Thanks guys!!!💪💪

Been going here since July of 2017 and have nothing bad to say, it's kept clean, staff is friendly, it gets somewhat crowded around the usual busy times but that's not to fault of the gym. If you're looking for a cut and dry workout this is a solid option!

If i could give 0 stars, i would.
This has been one of the worst experiences in a gym i have ever had. I was charged fees after being told they don’t have fees as well as told a bunch of other lies in order to get us signed up. This was made right by a few months free. However because they don’t have child care i could never go. When i went to cancel my so called “month to month” i was told that i would be charged for an entire month that i would not be able to use because i didn’t give a 30 day notice. The manager stated that we had to give a 30 day notice and that it was listed in our paperwork that we signed...paperwork that we never received. When the manager looked to see if our emails were in the system they were not. Proving we never received the documents saying we had to put in a notice. So now we will be paying $50, for an entire month that we won’t be able to use the gym. Will never ever go back to this gym. I also would not recommend unless you like being lied to and screwed out of your money.

i am amenber at cartersville but i couldnt stand the dirty fllors and bathroom so im going to the one in by town center . so today i needed to change cloths i was close to the cartersville so i stoped by it was by far the felthist place ive been in too the only thing different was decals on front window and mens floor was fixed wont go back

The gym may be open 24/7, but nowhere do they post when someone is actually there to provide information and handle new memberships.

EDIT: Got in there this time -- no squat racks (Smith machine doesn't count), no deadlift stations. Wall-to-wall machines of every shape and description, but freeweights are a joke.

My experience has been fantastic. I'm not a person who enjoys a "gym" mostly because of the stereotypes but this is the exception to the rule. Great friendly staff. If you choose the join a gym this year this is the only one I'd recommend.
