Dirtiest gym I’ve ever been to

After going to a few different gyms over the years, this gym by far has a more welcoming and friendly environment..The employee Reco, that signed me up is second to none with his customer service and knowledge of the equipment and various exercises to help.. UPDATED OCT 1 2025....The down equipment is really starting to be a problem..at this point it doesn't even look and feel like anybody cares as long as the money coming in..MONTHS of not getting fixed is inexcusable...I don't condone giving away money so I'll be looking to find another place to spend my hard earned money soon...This gym is convenient for me but it's depressing knowing I'm getting robbed willingly...LAST thing no point in trying to learn the names of employees here they get them and get rid of them way faster than they do bad equipment..I HATE that my gym experience has declined so much..hopefully change will come..

I would not recommend. Problems with homeless people and weirdos wondering into the gym in the middle of the night. Front door doesn’t secure. Overnight staff does not clean well. There’s always debris and trash. My membership was due on the 15th. I came in early on the 15th to cancel my membership. They went thru the computer said ok and proceeded to try and charge me again. And still are!

We were denied entry with one guest despite having the most expensive membership, and also having used the benefit of bringing one person before with no problem. Unsure if they had a new person, or if a policy was changed, but it hadn’t been an issue in over 4 months.

Went to the gym for 2 days just to test it out ending up wanting to canceled. I paid the fee and the desk guy took my key cards. 3 months later the clubhouse company called saying I owed money for not paying monthly even tho it was cancelled and I only went to them gym for 2 days….didn’t even go a full week cuz I chose another gym. The clubhouse connected me wit management on cascade off course 3 months later no one has records or even remember me canceling but I was told if I pay 79.99 they will cancel it…..basically like I never paid the first time insinuating that I’m lying. AGAIN DON’T TEST OUT THIS GYM UNLESS YOU FULLY COMMIT. They started threatening to put a credit collection company on me if I didn’t pay a 2nd time. Basically spent $159.98 to have a 2 day membership. This no lie just scroll down plenty of people have had the same problem trying to cancel.

No shower curtains in the men's bathroom, and the water pressure is that of your average sink. If these things were fixed, 5 stars. But because of how important showers are to my gym experience, unfortunately, this kind of ruins it.

This gym has climate control issues. Feels like a sauna when you walk in here sometimes. One of the work out benches has needed repair for long time, but nothing's been done.

Edit: It has gotten worse. Machines broken for months. They keep the heat on year round. This gym makes the Union City location look like a paradise. They at least have fixed the air problem, though.

When it first opened it was nice, but after only a few months it's easily the worst Anytime I've ever been to. There is always broken equipment, staff doesn't organize equipment or clean and the bathrooms are disgusting and out of paper a lot of times.

Great gym like the aesthetic live that it’s not so packed like planet fitness. Only thing that deterred me was the smith machine and no paper towels but Idris was amazing with great customer service as well as his manager. Very helpful. Nice atmosphere. Community oriented gym. Would come again on an upper body day! lol

Favorite workout anytime location. Clean, great equipment and good people workout here. I’ve never felt unsafe, unwelcome, etc. There are all sorts of ages/body shapes and sizes that workout here and that’s why I enjoy it. Good location to support!

I'm glad that a new management team took over and revamped this gym. I had joined before and left because of poor equipment and dirty bathroom. Finally got a team that actually cares and have high standards.

Love the convenience. The machines are well-kept and they have plenty of free weights. They have plenty of treadmills, bikes and elliptical. I personally wish they had 2-3 fewer treadmills for more machines. This and other locations have changed the tvs to generic repetitive programming (updated weekly) and no longer view programming like HG network or MSNBC orBET for example. I understand that this eliminates any controversies or conflict over programming.

The place is well ventilated and air conditioned. I'm mainly a night person at this location and a daytime person at the Douglasville location, so I can't speak on the staff here.

(For both locations)Other patrons are cool. They either stay to themselves or social when welcome. Most put their weights back and everyone adheres to the sanitary/ wipe down policy with sanitary spray provided. Everyone has been helpful if I've had a question or request and I pay it forward as well. Most are dressed to work out. No fashion shows or show offs (even from those who very well could).

I went in in person to cancel and am still receiving calls telling me to update my billing information and stating that I have an outstanding balance. Worst experience ever with a gym not worth paying for if you ever plan on moving or cancelling at any time. Do not under any circumstances sign up for this gym.

Wonderful gym great atmosphere, nice variety of equipment available. There is a massage table and also........are you ready for this an infrared sauna...if you don't know the benefits of infrared light saunas look it up now. If you have a premium membership your allowed to bring a visitor along with you during staffing hours, and not all gym allow others to workout for free. Wait I'm not don't when you join your given a free training session with a staff member 🤯 like what are you waiting for New Years 🤔 no let's go this is my gym and I love it see you there...

I think it's a great gym. I chose it mainly because of the 24/7 availability. There usually arent a lot of people most times of the day so even with limited equipment its not a big deal.

I think the pictures on Google are misleading. Its not as big as the picture made me think and many of the picture are of a different location.

The gym is clean and has everything the average person needs to get in a great workout. It is on the smaller size. The staff is pretty inattentive but I usually go late at night anyway so it not a big deal. They aren't super strict on COVID precautions so go at your own risk. There are usually cute guys so thats a plus!

so im very glad that the gym is open right now but the young guy doing the front desk today Saturday 11:32 is not checking ppls temperatures as the come in the door. he's training a young lady and not paying any attention to the door at all at lease 10 ppl have come in and have not been given any instruction.

This is a great neighborhood gym. There is plenty of parking, enough equipment not to have to wait or wait long to use it, it is open 24 hours and the staff is eager to help you when needed. I also like that the gym is clean and plays decent music. This is helps make my experience enjoyable.

Seriously CPT's. There is an important need not being addressed- Correct these people who don't know what they are doing before injury sets in. I was in today and I was going to use the Preacher Curl Apparatus. This tattoo guy steps in front of me and takes the ez curl bar and starts moving the bar with momentum using no muscle contraction, or full flexation/extension whatsoever. I see too many people wasting time getting nothing done, and not being assisted. So I guess if you don't pay for personal training you get nowhere if you don't have the brain to learn by reading or watching videos. And turn the damb music down THE PLACE IS TOO SMALL! IT'S A GYM, NOT A NIGHTCLUB! I will no longer train here! I prefer a more serious environment where I may continue to learn from experts in the iron game in the more diverse communities!

The most convenient thing about this gym is that it is truly a 24/7 gym facility, unlike a nearby Planet Fitness, which is "24/5" (foolishness) and to my knowledge it doesn't have any sort of dress code to allay the insecurities of people who are self conscious about their bodies. I paid extra for the 24 hour access to the Hydromassage bed, which is awesome when it's actually functional. It seems to go out of service every few months for up to 2 weeks at a time. As for the rest of the facility, it has all of your basic gym equipment plus a few specialty machines--Some sort of wave motion machine and a stair climbing machine. Locker rooms and showers are provided which is nice for the before work or after work crowd. For the most part, the facility is kept clean by a reliable and consistent cleaning staff. It seems that a lot of members ignore the common courtesy of reracking the weights. There's also a lot of half drunk water bottles scattered around the gym. Aside from that, it's a decent gym overall, but it has a ways to go before it reaches a 5 star rating.

The 6 weeks challenge was a great way for me to kick start my way back into the gym and working out after I had my baby! Staff conduct trainings and classes in the general work out areas. They have no respect for those that just come to work out on their own. Often the equipment would be tied up with classes.
I couldn’t drown out their ( two trainers) motivational hollering even with headphones on while on the treadmill.
I addressed it with the staff who suggested I read the class schedule posted on the wall and plan my work out accordingly. They made no apology nor showed no concern that it was difficult for me to enjoy my work out in the middle of other people’s classes.
I have canceled my membership.
