i use walmart's discount program to attend here. i absolutely love it; i wasn't expecting anything great, but my expectations were exceeded. everything is kept clean and orderly, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and i feel comfortable working out here even during the busier days. i will admit, if i were paying full price i would probably go elsewhere for a better price, however i think it's worth the money i currently pay. i will be staying here for a while. thanks so much!

This gym is by far the worst place I have ever had to deal as for trying to cancel a membership!! They are very rude!! Their customer service is an outside company that can't even help you!! They gave me an email to contact the owner about canceling my membership and he would not even respond to me!! They sent me the email to cancel my membership then called me back and told me that I could not cancel my membership because I signed a contract for a year- I contacted them on several occasions trying to cancel said membership due to losing my job!! Workout Anytime does not care as long as they get their money!!! I was told it didn't matter that I haven't been in the gym the last 4 months I was paying for the access to the gym!! So read that fine print people or you will be in the boat that I am in!!! The worst customer service EVER!!!

I just want to start off by saying what two great employees you have at this gym. This gym employees is everything you’d want in a staff members—hardworking, friendly, and genuinely committed to making the gym a better place. They always show up on time, ready to help, and go out of their way to make sure members feel welcome. Whether it’s keeping the equipment clean, offering workout tips, or just giving a quick word of encouragement, they make a noticeable difference.

They don’t just do the basics; they go the extra mile. If someone needs help with a machine, they explain it clearly. If there’s an issue, they handle it fast and professionally. Due to new management it has become much better. Rosie is the difference maker. If the owner loses her things will go back downhill. I truly can't believe you would let Rosie go during this tragic event with her family. You're a horrible business owner. I travel quite a bit for work between Cartersville, GA and Knoxville, Tn. I go to roughly 8 different gyms a week between WOA & PF. I can say with absolute certainty, that this is my favorite gym hands down. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff (Rosie, I believe), absurdly clean, and all the equipment one might need from novice to advanced. In comparison, this location is palatial so you aren’t all up on each other, which for me is important.

I have worked out in countless gyms, and this one is hands down the cleanest facility I’ve ever been to. The staff is always attentive not only to the patrons, but the facility as well. Obviously machines break, but the response time from down to back in operation here is amazing. Switching to this gym has been a 100% great decision, completely regret free.
Next on the hit parade is the patrons themselves. I have not ran into a rude person, someone that purposefully leaves a mess, or one that is over the top boisterous. I will recommend this gym to everyone.

This place is a joke. We have called & called. Done the emails. Talked to the staff. They continue to take payments when we HAVE canceled our membership. We have talked to the staff about making sure it is canceled. They have no "proof" of this, so they can't do anything? Make it make sense to me. When this have been over 2 months of fighting with them. They have continued to take almost $100 from my bank account each month. Now I'm having to pay $30 dollars A PIECE to CANCEL a member ship that was supposed to have been canceled already.

I recently complained to this location about the growing immature meathead atmosphere at their location (most everyone who goes here is very decent and it’s not that rampant, but it’s growing among a small clique…) and they did not even listen to me. Well, as a current pre-paid member (had I only known), I will be heard... And here's why you should not choose Workout Anytime in LaFayette GA:

My experience here has been disappointing in the extreme. I had originally planned to bring my whole family to this gym, but ever since my first day here, I've been shown that this is not 100% a safe and family-friendly environment. Here's why...

I'm a somewhat heavy man in my 50s (not that that should even matter). A local (rather redneck and immature) 30s+ couple have been hazing me since I got here, literally since the first day I came in to work out back in November of 2023. ASince then, I realized recently, it's impossible to actually work out stress-free in that environment and it's their manager (Rosy) who’s ultimately that's allowing it, as well as one of their day/night managers on duty ("Brady").

There's plenty of footage to examine the issue and correct it. I was told nothing would be done and that I'm just out a full annual membership. In response I was told that I had used the word “legal” in my phone meeting with the manager and regional manager (actually, I had not until I repeated the word which the manager herself used, just after she used it — apparently this is the cause they need to simply stop responding to your complaint, and that is, I’m pretty sure, not LEGAL…). The intelligent thing to do would have been to treat the customer with respect because they are a customer, wouldn’t it?!

I was told to email the owner John Greff, but even after multiple emails, he doesn’t return my attempts to contact him directly. So obviously I’m not going to stop there and just say goodbye to my already paid membership fee…

BEWARE OF THIS WORKOUT ANYTIME GYM IN LAFAYETTE GA LOCATION at 106 Pearl Drive Ste 108, LaFayette, GA 30728 !

In fact, you may want to simply choose a gym membership at another gym chain while you're at it, since they have the same regional mgr for the entire region, who didn’t understand his role or zone of acceptable professional behaviors any more than Rosy, the manager at the Lafayette location, who each time I called said “Mark, I’m not allowed to talk to you”. …Then how do we resolve the issue outside of court?!!!

There are other gyms in the area. This location does not ultimately feel like home. Store and regional management is indifferent. The scanner doesn't work most of the time and many have complained about this for ample reasons, including on Facebook (so that particular issue has definitely been well documented). Of course, they probably will simply block those people from their FB page as they already have blocked me — for filing a complaint. Pretty professional, right?

UPDATE:
Now the owner has replied at the bottom of my review saying that they didn’t find evidence of my claim. This is pretty silly as it’s all over the tapes but yeah right, it’s your gym so you couldn’t find anything. I must be lying. That’s it. As if anyone has nothing better to do than make up lies about hazing at their gym…

I don’t talk to anyone. I mind my own business and try to get things done at the gym. Gone are the days when I felt like this would be a place to take my spouse. But now I feel I can’t go back (because I’m making up stories) and can’t get a refund either (because the manager can’t talk to me and the owner hides), and obviously nothing is going to improve at a gym where they treat a customer like this…

I thought of contacting the BBB. Yep. You guessed it. Workout Anyime Lafayette is not even a member of the BBB, even though it’s part of a large gym chain franchise with many members. That’s pretty convenient. Apparently they were already issued a “C” rating (look it up) …for refusing to take complaints seriously. Could that be the reason they’re not now a member of the BBB?

I was immediately impressed with the facility and staff the very first time I entered the gym over a year ago. My first impression has held true throughout my entire time with the Lafayette extension. Rosie and the staff are always welcoming when I walk through the door. I witness the staff cleaning multiple times within the hour I am there. They take pride in the cleanliness and operability of all equipment. Any time a piece of equipment needs a repair, the staff wastes no time and lets members know that parts have been ordered. I love having the LaFayette Workout Anytime as my home gym. The staff is friendly and keep the gym clean and well maintained. My schedule varies so having access to the gym 24/7 is very important to me. There are a variety of machines, free weights, etc. So if I’m doing strength training or cardio, there are always options available. There is a nice locker room with showers available as well as a hydro massage bed, tanning beds, and sauna. I made the switch last year from a “bigger” gym where I always had to wait in line for equipment and have never looked back.

Been going to this gym for over a year now and so far I liked it until tonight. I was about to start a treadmill when one of the staff came to me and asked me if my name was Eli******. I said no. Small-town gym, well kept, not crowded, nice staff. I like that they give you the option of using cloths or paper towels to clean the equipment- there is no shortage of spay bottles with cleaning solution throughout the gym.
The space is smaller than places like PF but it lends a comfortable, cozy air to the place. There are all sorts of machines, weights, and workout equipment - everything is in good shape. I really enjoy working out here and feel comfortable and confident doing so.

Not that im there yet but im just a beginner, i know some people that go here that actually compete for weightlifting. I really enjoy visiting this gym. It's close to home, and isn't overcrowded. Compared to the East Ridge location, though, the small space is lacking what larger Workout Anytime facilities offer.

Love this gym! Extremely inviting, you can come at any time (hence the name), and they aren’t strict on what you wear. Ethan is the best manager around and Jared is awesome help. They’ll both be 100 percent willing to help you during staff hours!
