I'm a big gym time weight lifter and this gym is perfect. I go to LA fitness as well, but this place is 24hr so I can go at 5am before work. Clean most of the time. They have free bottled water since they took out the water fountain because of covid, but the machine is empty most of the time so bring water or drink from the sink. Hey for $20 a month I can't complain.

7/25/26 UPDATE: I would give more stars but there is a reoccurring issue with the scanner/door unlocking that has been going on for several months. To pay monthly for 24hr access and not be able to have 24hr access is quite frustrating. You wake up early in the morning(in my case 4am) to drive to the gym, get in the right mindset, start the day off right, take your pre-workout then pull up to the gym and go to scan your bar code to get in and nothing happens.
I have talked to several employees about the issue and have gotten different answers each time. Sometimes it's the internet or the door connection or whatever but at the end of the day the why is really irrelevant when all we need is a solution to this problem that really shouldn't exist. FIX THE DOOR PLEASE!!
And there are several machines with worn cables that need to be replaced. (I was injured at a 24hr gym a few years ago when a cable popped and the bar slammed on my head and I had to get 7 staples) so now I pay close attention to the condition of the gym equipment.

**UPDATE**
The WOAT Snellville experience rollercoaster continues. It was good for a while, but feels like it has fallen WAY off in owner/leadership capacity.
Have you ever gone to a failing Subway franchise, where they start rationing the napkins and don't hire enough people, so the line is too long, and they'll only give you the minimum required number of tomatoes that are strategically sliced paper thin? That's my WOAT Snellville experience of late. Things I've experienced over the last few months

1. Equipment broken for months at a time, when only a single bolt was required.
2. Inadequate ventilation. Many patrons have cultural reluctance to deodorant, so they workout, and the ventilation is so weak it can't mitigate the humidity, and makes the stench unbearable.
3. Weight disarray. The weights are a mess. No one puts them back, and neither does staff, nor do they encourage members who don't. It's clearly skeleton crew staffed anyway.
4. Rules schizophrenia. Rules at the club are applied like Oprah's diet. They aren't enforced for months and months, then when it's so out of control it's affecting the experience, they are over enforced like a power hungry HOA president.
5. Absentee ownership. If you go to Chamblee-Tucker, you'll often bump into the owner. I've never seen the owner in person at Snellville. Probably explains so much. This is the heart of the rules problem. The owner is clearly ignorant of the day to day, so whoever fixes all problems with conspicuous over correction.

The way a business is run affects the entire experience. This should be one of the best WOATs, and it's not as bad as the infamous Panama City, but it's well below the waterline. That's why I moved membership away from this one.

Not a safe/comfortable place for females to work out. Me and my girlfriend just moved, and we're trying out this location. The front desk dude was caught staring at my girlfriend working out the whole time, making her feel uncomfortable. Well an hour into our workout, I walked up to the front to discard my disinfecting towel, and saw the front desk guy pulled her profile up again, and was actively scrolling through her personal information (phone number, address, etc). After I just shook my head, he confronted me with a hostile attitude and immediately told me to leave the facility. There's absolutely no reason to pull up someone's profile, an hour after they checked in, especially to scroll through the information. Dude just got defensive after being caught. Any other Workout anytime in the area is great, but this one is a cancer to the franchise. Strongly encourage anyone who's thinking about joining, to find a different location

You know this Snellville location is one of the gym staples in the community. A lot of the young men and woman from high schoolers to young adults frequent this facility, along with their family and friends. As soon as you walk in you see a inspirational quotes from one of the mangers and they offer everything from training to sauna. Any issues or questions can be directed to the staff directly, they have always been diligent about resolving any issues on the spot. They have membership options priced at different depending on client needs.

This place changes management and staff every year. They’ve hiked the prices of the membership up to $30/mo for no additional perks. Don’t even bother coming after hours, the door lock barely works; anyone can come in!!! They’ve WRONGFULLY charged me a membership for MONTHS after I cancelled and refuse to refund me fully. The front desk guy was more focused on flirting than getting my membership cancellation right! Disgusting. It’s upsetting when you try to support black businesses and this is how they operate.

I don't recommend this location because they don't seem to care about equipment upkeep. Their converging chest press has been broken for several weeks now and I keep calling about it and they always have an excuse as to why it's not fixed. The cables either need to be replaced or tightened to bring back the tension. I eventually gave up on complaining to them because it looks to me like they plan to just leave it there broken. I even emailed corporate and they chose to ignore my complaint. When you pay a monthly membership fee it is with the understanding that all equipment is functional - and if it is not then it is expected to be fixed in a reasonable and timely manner.

The OTHER Workout Anytimes I frequented were indifferent; I put up with it because I want to work out at odd hours.
But THIS store is surprisingly good. Not just adequate, but a positive experience.

While many businesses are still crying "waah because covid" to justify horrible service, years later (let's be honest, it always was mostly an excuse to cut corners), this particular store seems to bend over backward to make you glad you're there.

For example, they actually leave the door visibly unlocked during the day, so that you can walk right in and just scan your fob or app to work out. No struggling to get the scanner IN the door to pick up your bar code. And unlike the others I've worked out at, there's almost always someone there, and they are INVOLVED in the goings-on: Not hiding in the back and hoping you won't bother them, or sneaking out and coming back later to clock out, but walking around ensuring everyone's happy, saying hi when you walk in, et cetera. They seem glad if you have a question to ask, or want some other service. They don't pester if you just want to work out and go, but they're quick to give help when you seek it.

Their corporate provider did just switch from all the TVs to some sort of ridiculous, SHORT loop of "nitro circus" nonsense that I suppose they imagine will get us "pumped", but actually is boring and repetitive. While a normal cable network could distract you from a long run on the treadmill, watching this stuff makes the run tedious. So cue up your phone with your favorite audiobook, or something else to keep your mind off the run. The TVs are now a waste.

As for the facilities, they are decent. The weight machines are clean, bright, and mostly in good shape, though my favorite treadmill — the one under the Air Conditioning vent — has broken buttons and creaks like an old-timey sailing ship in a storm when I run on it.
But I needs me that cool airflow!

This is a great gym to go workout, it is quiet, clean, and safe. There are no long ways to get on equipment to get your workout in and after you finish you can walk to Kroger and pivkup some protein or a health meal for your musvle gains, or get fresh a haircut or stop at the pizza spot and treat yourself, LOL.

You guys put an entire employee here at night with no access to the actual computer system. She is so useless and can’t even enter my phone number in to let me workout. She denied me entry (due to the app being down) and then when I went ALL THE WAY HOME AT 3am and came back (with my scan tag this time) she was rude about me scanning my damm scan tag.

I’ve been in gyms for 12 years and whoever took it upon themselves to hire someone with no access to a computer system is foolish.

Update 1/2023: irresponsible - new year same disappointment. How is a gym considered operative when the women’s bathroom is shut down - see pics… You can’t wash your hands, shower, relive yourself or place belongings in the locker. They have to do better.

A long time coming… I’ve struggled to write this review off the strength of liking the staff - all while being supremely disappointed in their lack of stewardship. The music is a vibe, people are cool BUT This gym is filthy. In a world of infectious diseases they refuse to clean the gym. Trainers/staff dont sanitize after using equipment nor do they encourage a clean environment. Soiled wet naps every where, cleaning towels and spray solution is a luxury. Water fountain doesn’t work, rarely have water to sell.

In addition to being nasty, the Bathroom lacks privacy and toilet paper - showers don’t have curtains, water runs all over the floor which is an absolutely trip hazard. They use the same tired nasty soap dispenser and refill it with the cheapest soap on the market(feels like water). So as much as I would like to use the hot sauna the questions remains where will I bathe? I’ve rarely seen a person working there clean up, their more concerned with training than sanitizing. Ugh do better for our community - we deserve comprehensive safety which includes cleanliness

I've been a member since Fall 2022. I can deal with the fact that it's not the cleanest gym ever because it's cheap and it's 24hrs. I can deal with the fact that the bench pads and machine pads are worn and ripped, because it's cheap and it's 24hrs. I can even deal with the broken TVs non-working water fountain. But I draw the line at half the weight room, which is already diminutive, being blocked off and inaccessible twice a week in lieu of a yoga class. I'm sorry, but I need to find somewhere else to work out.

Overall, the staff is pretty decent, but working out in this place will require you to bring your own tissue & water because the fountain isn't working. 24/7 gym with a variety of equipment to fulfill your fitness need.
CONS: It isn't the largest facility, although it never seems to be crowded when I go. The men's urinal & toilet alternate on which one is out of order. There is one water fountain & it's low pressure.
PROS: The facility adds new equipment quarterly it seems. They recently installed a tire flip device, sauna, tanning station, as well as a massage chair next to the hydromassage. There are more than enough free weights or weight machines to fit your need. I use it as a 2nd gym since I box 🥊 elsewhere, but I'm pretty sure I kept my membership because they have a heavy bag. Everyone in there stays to themselves & gets that work in! It's a small community of members, so you'll see familiar faces. It's $30/month for access to a facility that never closes & usually has hip-hop playing throughout to keep you in the right vibe/mindset.

It's a nice clean gym. It has all the equipment you need. The price for a personal trainer is reasonable And it close to my home. I'm hoping to see results as I go thru the training. They sent me an Email saying that the gym was closing during covid. I sent them an emIl that based on this information I wanted to close my account. Several months later, I see an account in collections on my credit report for nearly a year of unpaid dues. This gym is clearly a joke, they never even closed, never responded to my written request for closing of the account. Its better off you don’t deal with a company that can’t keep their paperwork in order, unless thats reporting you to a collection agency. I never even got a notification that the gym membership was never closed, or had a balance. Franchise trash.

It’s so sad. So this gym has “new” management but same old problems. You would think after a takeover from the previous owners they would do better but still the same. All the treadmills are layered with dirt and dust it’s disgusting. How are you going to take over ownership and not do a entire location wipe down during a pandemic mind you. I came here 3 days ago and the bathroom counters still have the same dirt on it from 3 days ago. Which means they clean NOTHING. Does it really cost that much to get a cleaning crew to clean your “new” location under new management?? Black owned business need to be better. Due to the pandemic, the gym shut down in April. They paused payments in April. They reopened in May. I received a partial charge for the month of May in the amount of 15.38 on 5/19/20 automatically drafted from my WF checking. I came into the club and made the decision the cancel my membership to be precautionary. I was told by the employee onsite that I would have to call at their payment services company, ABC Financial Services, and given their business card. I obliged and took the card. When I called and spoke with the representative, I was told that the club’s policy was to accept online cancellations through an ABC Financial account tied to your membership ID. I said no problem. I went online and filled out the form on my account. It informed me that I would need to pay a final 30 day monthly fee of 19.00, and gave me the option to pay immediately or let it auto draft on the usual day. I chose to pay it online immediately, through the ABC Financial portal, on 5/24/20.

On 7/17/20, almost two months later, I saw a charge of 19.00 posted from ABC WORKOUT ANYTIME. I called ABC Financial again. Their representative instructed me to go to the gym directly. I went into the gym today at 1pm, and their employee said his records indicate my cancellation was only effective July 3rd, and therefore I needed to pay ANOTHER monthly fee.

When I pulled up my ABC Financial account to show the two payments in May, indicating my cancellation had already been paid, he shrugged and appeared to not care.

This has to be the most predatory form of automatic account drafting I have ever seen. DO NOT give this business your hard earned money OR account information under any circumstances.

I am highly disappointed in the difficulty they impose to prevent cancellations, the poor customer service and overall shady business practices they choose to allow.

I have already contacted my banking institution, and I will be filing a complaint with the state as well as looking into legal action against this establishment.

I must state I really had no issue with the facility. It is in a great location and was very clean with new machines in working order. My issue is the bait and switch I experienced. I went to their web site to look at the plans and saw a coupon offering 14 days free to work out. The manager Lewis would not honor the coupon and would only give three visits in 7 days. I was not given a tour and no offer to demonstrate how the machines work. He did not even show me where the locker room was to put my things down. The lack of customer service was a turn off alone with the bait and switch. Going back to Planet Fitness.

This is a newly built gym. All the equipment is new and top notch. It is very clean and not crowded at all the few times I've been there so far. It's open 24 hrs a day everyday even holidays. I was skeptical at first because Planet fitness is bigger and cheaper but they are not open 24 hrs. everyday, holidays, etc. and their equipment doesn't compare. They have free weights here, squat racks, ab equipment, TRX system and newer equipment I've never seen in a gym. I'm a fan!

Great facility. Plenty of treadmills and other machines = no waiting. Great weight room and a great atmosphere to do my workouts. I highly recommend this place.
