I recently moved to the Hoschton area, and this is the most affordable gym around. The staff is friendly and the equipment is pretty good. The hydromassage machine is a bonus for this gym. It is worth the few extra dollars that is charged in the membership fee.

I used Workout Anytime a few years ago and loved it, so when it came time to look for a gym again: I didn't have to look very hard. I was greeted by Rodney who was very kind, respectful, and courteous as well as just fun to talk to which goes a long way in my book. He helped me understand all of my membership options and was a huge help!

I absolutely love this gym and the staff! It's always clean and always has the feeling of welcome! If something is broke or not working right the staff is quick to get it fixed and if I or anyone ever has any questions the staff are eager to help! The locker rooms are spacious and offer privacy if wanted the showers stay super clean as well! And it's affordable! I wouldn't go to any other gym even if they were offering to pay me to work out at other gym I honestly feel at home here!

Kinda irritated with this already and I just started the service. I was contacted this morning after setting up service online the day before and was told I needed to come get my key card for entry. I spoke with the young man and confirmed I would be there between 4 and 5 pm. To pick up the card he said great well I show up and no one is working at the counter I waited outside calling multiple times trying to get some kind of information. And never heard anything. Hours posted on door started someone will be there till 8pm. I waited an hour calling every few minutes hoping to get someone so this wasn't a wasted trip. When people would walk out I would ask if there is someone working and they said they haven't seen anyone in a long time. This is unacceptable I paid for the membership but cannot use it. You can understand my frustration

This place has been the worst gym I've ever been inside. There's no space for you to work out, let alone even move around to get where you want to go. The membership price doesn't even make sense. 22.99 for a very mid experience. Then, if you happen to even miss paying your membership for a second, you get a late fee thats an extra 20 dollars, and theres nothing that they can do about it. Okay, so here is my point here. My membership says 19.99, yet i paid 39. Called, and they said oh you were late the month before, and it's just a late fee." But i paid the month before on time, so idkkk??? This place is a scam. I've always had issues with my membership here. Yes, I've stayed here for a year and a half. idk why that matters to them. Its unfortunate they are willing to lose business, but this place gets completely blown out by their competitors, and thats where I'll be taking my business. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever.

Been going to this gym 6 years with my one son got a family plan had my wife and 3 other kids on it on and off tried getting her back on and was told it don't exist and I'd have to pay just for her what I pay for me and my son. This is not what I was told when I signed up and my price would be locked in. The past year staff has been cut in half and hours changed water fountian was shut off for 2 weeks at least massage machines broken for 2 months odds and ends of equipment broken or missing clips to attach bars one day no staff looked like someone walked threw mud tracked it threw out the whole locker room staff used to be friendly and helpful you could walk in and sign in now you have to use your key that don't work half the time to get in when you ask for another key you get told are you sure your using it right there is a charge for a key that you had for 3 I can keep venting but no one is going to care or listen

I go/went to this gym five days a week. It's small but still had all the equipment for a full body workout. Sadly I am leaving the gym and going to the YMCA not due to the gym or staff but I have kids and the Y has the pool and other things they can use and I don't want to pay for memberships at two different places. Well it’s been over a week since I wrote an email about my concerns with my gym and nothing has been done. I haven’t even received an email back saying they will address them.

I’d like to start out with saying I’ve been a loyal member of this gym for almost 6yrs and I love this gym. First the cleanliness of the gym has gone down hill. The water fountain constantly has mold in it that I have to wipe out to be able to drink the water. The shower curtains also have mold on them. The mirrors are nasty all the time especially the ones by the squat racks. I even mentioned this to one of the workers at the desk once. She said “oh yeah I’ll clean it.” She didn’t move and the next morning they were still just as nasty. One of the benching bars is visibly bent and hasn’t been replaced. The piece of equipment to do reverse abs on was broke and taken away. But it was never replaced. I also typically workout at 4:30am in the gym. I’ve come in and it’s 30 degrees outside and the heat in the gym isn’t on and it’s freezing in the gym. Then you look at the thermostat and it’s still set to cool. So that tells me the heat isn’t even going to run while I’m there and I’ll be freezing the whole workout. Then we get to the more personal level. I had an issue with someone literally stalking me at the gym. I messaged the gym on Facebook and told them about the issue. Asked if we could put signs back up that said not to let none members in since this person was sneaking in behind people. I got told they couldn’t do anything at all to help. Then today 12/15/2023 I got told by the lady running the front desk that I was out of dress code and that I needed to put a shirt on. I was wearing leggings and a sports bra. I asked where the dress code is posted or where is this rule. She shrugged and said my manager saw you on the camera and said you need to put a shirt on. No where in the gym are there dress code rules or on the website. I felt as if I was being body shamed by an employee and a place that is supposed to be a safe and caring environment. Fast forward to today 12/23/2023 I come to the gym this morning and there is a dress code sign. But we still have mold on the shower curtains the mirrors are still nasty and so is the water fountains. So we are more worried about what people wear than making sure they are safe in the gym.

I have been working out at this gym for 7-8 years now and I find the equipment to be everything I need to strengthen my entire body. The gym is clean most of the time, there will always be some members that will show little respect for keeping it that way but that is true with most gyms. The staff changes hands often which can be expected but they are always helpful. The managers are very hands on and have been very helpful with maintaining the gym. Some tvs’s seem to be down for a long time, but like everything after Covid it takes time to get things done. Have been working out for many years at numerous gyms and this one is like my second home.

paid extra to get to lay in tanning beds and water bed spa and their has not been anyone there to set the beds so we can use them and or broken and this has been for 6 months or more on one of the hydro beds too. I’m going to give them 5 stars. Things get broken at this gym it seems like I’m the late night hours. When I go in there to workout I’ve seen damage done by customers. I don’t blame them not replacing the TVs because of how people treat this place. Its disappointing that people are careless. I’ve seen margaritas mix on the floor in the bathrooms. Someone tagged the bathroom doors. My honest opinion I wouldn’t keep it open at night. That’s when the idiots go to wreak havoc. If this keeps going like this i would hate to see this place close. I love this gym though. It’s convenient near my house. Never over crowded. Everything always works but the customers at night don’t care. I keep cleaning up after people. Recently canceled my membership after years of being a member. I got tired of the multiple broken TVs never being fixed for years of working out there, staring at a blank screen while working out, you can feel the awkwardness between people in between reps lol. (The TVs were a good distraction after a set.) I just got tired of that and it’s overall lack of cleanliness. It was just time to move on. It’s a shame it is not well maintained because otherwise it’s a very convenient location but I’m willing to drive farther to another gym that I know the $$$ is being put to good use in the facility and it is routinely maintained and broken things are fixed and not lingering for years.

In response to the owner saying they can’t find me in their system: you can see my picture is right there on the Google review, look at that. You’ve seen me, I’ve been going there for YEARS- update your system. My Google account is my MIDDLE NAME not my gym membership that has my first name. And the fact that that’s your response!???? You can’t find me in your system is your response to my review? Okay. I’m so glad I canceled now. Wow.

The gym is fine and all the equipment works. BEWARE!!! I started my membership in 2019 and when 2020 came, accompanied by the pandemic, they charged me for the entire year and did not offer me a refund or any sort of compensation. In 2022, I tried to cancel my membership and went up to the gym multiple times during normal work hours (9-5) and no one was ever there. I called on multiple occasions and no one ever answered. I called my bank and cancelled my card payments. Last month I received a letter from a collection agency!! They have NERVE!!! You owe me money from 2020 and I will definitely be disputing this!

Great place to workout while being affordable. The gym has a lot of cardio equipment as well as free weights so anyone can come and get a workout in. The locker rooms and the gym are both clean all of the times that I have been there, and the equipment is in top shape. The only thing that kept me from giving this place 5 stars is that if you want to cancel your membership there, you have to do so 30 days ahead of time or else they will charge you for the next month as well... kind of frustrating.

The answer from the owner of workout anytime in Winder is wrong and misinformed. He has not responded to emails and calls.
I have been trying to cancel by calling many times, on March 5th , 2022. I called twice to be guided by them and cancel, on March 23rd as well. The employee of this location did not know the procedure and she could not help me by giving me wrong information in every call I made. I when in person to workout anytime in Winder on the 23rd,I did not get the cancellation since the workout anytime representative was unaware of the cancellation procedure for a frozen account, she called her manager and informed me that I have to make my cancellation online and wait a day later for the manager to defrost my account and make the corresponding payment for the cancellation. March 24th , I made the payment online, the payment was done but unable to cancel.
I just want to cancel.
Is it possible for you to help me with this matter?
I have proof of all payments calls and e-mails.

My husband is already a member so we came to see if I could get a pass and workout. By the time we got there to try to see if I could get a pass I guess it was to late which is completely understandable. We were met at the door by a lady she asked right out the gate “does she have her badge too” to which my husband replied no this is my wife and she’s wanting a membership here. She says well you have to come back when staff is here so she’ll have to leave. She said this with attitude and she had a disgusted look on her face. There is a way to talk to people but her tone and demeanor was nasty. I signed up for the membership online but the interaction with her left a bad taste in my mouth so I will now be cancelling the membership and so will my husband. EDIT: As I said in the beginning it was late when we went meaning “after hours” completely understandable. She could have politely said that it was too late. I actually wanted to become a member. However that is exactly how the interaction went. Doesn’t negate the fact that her customer service was awful.

Employees are always very nice! Gym has alot of machines & free weights to choose from. I've noticed several members not cleaning equipment after they use it. I wish there were consequences for not following cleaning policies, which are clearly posted throughout the gym! Please put hooks on bathroom doors in ladies restroom. I hate having to put my purse/gym bags on floor when using toilet. Overall, this is a great gym with reasonable prices! Staff are always polite and make everyone feel welcome. 😊

The Winder Ga gym is the worst gym I've been to ever. I sent them a complaint about two weeks ago through their website and they never responded. Their staff is unfriendly and won't even look up from their cell phone to greet you. They don't have enough disinfectant bottles. The most I've seen is 2 and there is never one in the hydro bed room. Several times I've come in and their trash cans in the bathroom are full and without toilet paper. Im about to go try another gym club if they don't get their act together.

Great place to work out. It would be great if you could use your key card to use the tanning bed. Over all a great gym. One thing that could use a improvement is the shower room has two showers but with only one small bench to put your stuff on. I mean it's a really small bench. There is plenty of room for two more benches. Realistically only one person at a time can take a shower.

This location is little bit smaller than my home gym, but still very nice. They have certain machines that my home gym doesn't. It is a nice escape to go here sometimes, 1 to break out routine & 2 this gym is nowhere near as crowded. This gym is way too warm, and now moist because the temperature has not been adjusted for the weather. It’s humid and gross. If it’s was kept at a cooler temperature this wouldn’t be an issue. Nobody wants to work out in a sauna. If people buy into the idea that they lose more weight if they sweat more, they can wear a sweatsuit. As for the rest of us that are well aware that’s an outdated concept, we like to work out in a cool, crisp environment, not a recreation of the weather conditions in the Amazon rainforest. I love how affordable the monthly fee is, but at this point I would pay more to not have to deal with the warm, moist air in there.

i recently joined and its a decent place but i am glad i also kept my membership at my other gym... this is a decent place if you want to walk on the treadmill. however the weight section leaves a little bit to be desired. the dumbells are junk and dont go up heavy enough at all... there is only 1 bench press and 1 incline press (which is always in use). not to mention the lay out of the weights area is very cramped. if you have someone working out next to you, you will almost have to take turns so you arent bumping shoulders. i think they could get rid of about 5 pieces of equipment that noone uses and it would free up a good bit of space. i avoid going in in peak times so i am not tripping over people.

the staff is friendly but not really caring when you bring a request to them or a question to them. the tanning beds are pretty good (but can only use them during staffed hours (should be available with key card use if you ask me... the massage chairs are very nice no negatives there at all.

the "locker room" (if you want to call it that) is very small and cramped and the shower area isnt something i would use either.

overall the price is decent but you get what you pay for and i really wish i wouldnt have signed up for a year.

I've been a member of Workout Anytime for 2 years now and I enjoy the convenience of going to their gyms. However, when I went to this gym I did not have a pleasant experience. Upon entering, I was told that the bar code on my key chain did not scan properly and the operator could not identify me as a member. Instead of simply calling my home gym or going through any plausible method of verifying my membership, I was simply turned away from a nearly vacate gym that had about 4 or 5 people in it. I will not be returning to this location or any other rural location (if you get what I'm saying). I'm staying in the city.
