If you're just a novice hobbyist just stepping into the world of BJJ/MMA just to get the blood flowing, this is a decent place to start. However, if you plan on competing or taking things seriously, I urge you to find somewhere else. This place has Zero competitive atmosphere. I tried this place out 2 years ago and again this year... nothing but the faces have changed.

It was the first boxing class for my daughter we absolutely loved it! 🥊 My daughter really enjoyed training with Coach Aladino — he’s amazing! The atmosphere is super friendly, and without a doubt, it has become our favorite place. The attention from Marcus was the best part — thank you, Marcus, for your kindness and for guiding us every step of the way. 💪✨

Very mediocre classes for youth, so many coaches and these kids don’t learn anything. Felt more like a playground to release energy than learn a sport. Also be advised that even though you sign up for “commitment” plans it is your responsibility to cancel which is absurd. So you will be charged for not canceling when you only signed up for 3 months. Lol Will never use this nor recommend these classes/ this gym to nobody.

Went to K3 Sports this morning for a free Kickboxing class to see if it was an activity I like to start. Probably one of the best workouts I’ve ever had! I trained with Coach Rodriguez. Apparently, he is an advanced instructor, but he was still patient with me and reviewed the combos with me whenever I was lost. Highly recommend!

This has been my main gym for a year now and I only wish I had started sooner. I came in with zero combat sports experience and have progressed into competing with the support of the coaches.
The facility is always clean, the coaching and knowledge base is top-tier, and there’s a good mix of body/training types for whatever it is you’re looking to accomplish.

I will say I did enjoy the boxing class. I tried the boxing class as it was freebie, I have experience in group and one on one training. I made it clear that I wasn’t interested in making a decision on signing up for a membership as I decided this month was a time for me to try different things and figure it out. It was like they were trying to pressure me into signing up for a membership same day which I have NEVER experienced outside of Atlanta .

Used to be a good gym until they fired all of the good coaches. A gym is nothing without good coaches, just another money grab gym now with amateurs teaching you.

X3 sports is a great Facility. I got to the Marrietta and North Marrietta locations. I love the ability to gym hop. Each gym has its own vibe, but one thing is the same: The Training. I am developing real skills and building upon my current martial arts knowledge. The instructors are dialed in and treat each class and member with respect by giving us all they got. These aren't some watered down versions of martial arts. It's the real thing. Life is a Fight! Here at X 3 you are given tools to face it head on. I look forward to the continual cultivation of my consistency, commitment and community here at X3 Sports . Excellent.

I was very excited for my husband to try out a new as he got a new job near there & his awesome gym in Buford (won’t name any names (; for BJJ & mui tai is over an hour away so we tried out the free class X offers. We both were very disappointed. The coach was not thorough what so ever. He stayed on his phone almost the entire time & only looked at the students maybe a couple times. Then he proceeded to take a picture with the students in the middle of class. He was not nice, he did not introduce himself as the coach, he didn’t even shake hands with my husband that should’ve been the first sign. I was being positive and trying to give it a chance. My husband learned one move that whole class. ONE he is eager to learn and when paying that kind of money the coaches should be expected not to be on their phone during class. They pay that kind of money to be respected & they want to grow & learn in BJJ etc & obviously that is why they are there. Also there was ALOT of goofing off, & even some rude class mates in the class that told my husband & another class mate that they needed to move so she and the other girl could practice. & the upper belts in that class asked my husband if he was a white belt and if he was they didn’t want to do BJJ with him. Totally unacceptable behavior. I really hope yall talk to the coach rodrigo and please tell him to care a little bit more & have a better attitude & stay off his phone! They are there to learn nobody wants to learn from someone who clearly doesn’t care. However, Marcus did have good customer service & everyone at the front desk was good so I give props to them however, they aren’t there for the front desk/CS people they are there to learn & to have caring coaches who want them to move up belts in BJJ. I can’t speak for any other classes but the BJJ was horrible.

I never leave a review and I wanted to goto this gym so bad. I brought my daughter in for lessons for the summer and someone said they would call me to set up a set of summer lessons. They went ahead and enrolled her into lessons without my permission and started charging me. I called 3 times to get this fixed and all I wanted was a manager to fix the issue. Time goes by but no one helps me. This has left a bad taste in my mouth when I had the money and ability to fix this. I'm sure the program is great but when it comes to account management and customer service this is the worse I have have experienced.

Daniel, Brittany and Aladino are great. I've only worked with them so far. All the other staff members are friendly and cheer you on. I love the Marietta facility 😃 Some ppl in your class will cheer you on and it feels great! Now that it's EXTREMELY HOT outside you all need to get a better air conditioner. We are already sweating from working out so to come in there on a day that it's 98 and the air only goes down to 68 is disappointing. It makes me wonder where my $99 is going? Please fix the air and make it cooler/ cold on there. Today is June 26, 2025 and it will be 93 today

IM GIVING THIS PLACE 3 Stars ONLY BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY EQUIPMENT AND GOOD STAFF. (Please Read Below)
X3 has a lot going for it and has 5 classes to go to such as boxing (boxing equipment) , karate (in a small section) , yoga (in a different room) , fast track (HIIT or intense cardio exercises) and a built in gym (weights treadmills etc)
And with a group session trainer, you even have the whole app to use to see who is training a set exercise for that day
All for the price of 159 a month. (ID YOU ARE DOING A ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP). It's not bad right?
Cons: I do not recommend at all if you do not have the 159$ per month + if you usually do not have the time/schedule or energy to come almost everyday. Because you will end up wasting money, This place Will try to lock you in a contract so please read it throughly.
(ALSO WHEN SIGNING UP PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ THE CONTRACTS, AND MAKE OPTIMAL CHOICES FOR YOUR NEEDS)

Do not bring your kids here they are money hungry. My son has been going a month and they dressed him in the BJJ gear every time didn’t ask me to rent and didn’t tell me about the renting policy. I drove my son to practice and he came out telling me I need to pay $10 to rent the gear out of nowhere instead of providing a solution and saying he can come this time but next time you need to pay or he need to have gear and put the gear on him as usual they was just like okay and brushed me off. They do not care about your kids they just want money. I did enjoy the work of the actual coaches but that manager and the front staff can kick rocks won’t get another dollar out of me with that attitude about funds when I pay monthly to bring my child here.

Joining X3 Sports has been nothing short of a transformative journey for me, one that has reshaped not only my physique but my mental fortitude as well. My adventure into the realms of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) at X3 has been a thrilling ride, offering a blend of rigorous physical training and mental discipline that has unlocked a new level of fitness and inner strength I never knew I possessed.
The phrase "tapping into the warrior within" perfectly encapsulates my experience at X3 Sports. Each session is more than just a workout; it's a deep dive into the ancient arts of combat and self-defense, instilling a sense of resilience, confidence, and strategic thinking. The comprehensive approach to fitness at X3 not only hones the body but sharpens the mind, making every challenge a stepping stone to greater achievements.
My Muay Thai coach, Terrance, has been an incredible influence on my journey. His passion for the craft and attention to detail are truly phenomenal. From the outset, I noticed Terrance's commitment to his students; he consistently takes the time to engage and invest in each of our journeys. His dedication shines through in every class, as he goes above and beyond to ensure we're not only learning but truly embodying the art of Muay Thai.
In the realm of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, my coach Rodrigo Artilheiro stands out as the real deal. As a world champion, Rodrigo brings a wealth of knowledge not only about BJJ but about various martial arts disciplines. His expertise and approach to teaching have been invaluable, offering insights and techniques that only someone of his caliber can provide.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Mike Littrel for introducing me to this incredible journey. Mike has been more than just a mentor; he's been an inspirational figure, guiding me through the highs and lows of training with wisdom, patience, and unwavering support. His encouragement has been pivotal in my journey, transforming me not just physically but spiritually, by embedding the values of perseverance and dedication into every aspect of my life.
My training journey has taken me across various locations of X3 Sports, from Inman Park to West Midtown, and now to Marietta. Each location has offered a unique experience, yet the consistent quality of training, the welcoming community, and the top-notch facilities have been a constant. The environments are always charged with energy and positivity, making every visit an exciting adventure.
For anyone looking to redefine their fitness regime, explore martial arts, or simply find a supportive community to embark on a journey of personal growth, I cannot recommend X3 Sports highly enough. The quality of training, the camaraderie among members, the exceptional mentorship from coaches like Terrance and Rodrigo, and the overall atmosphere make X3 Sports a standout gym that caters not just to your physical well-being but to your personal development as a whole.
In essence, X3 Sports isn't just a gym; it's a sanctuary for those looking to challenge themselves, break new grounds, and truly tap into the "warrior within." My heartfelt thanks go to Mike, Terrance, Rodrigo, and the entire X3 community for making this journey an unforgettable one.

X3 Sports is the best gym in the area. You really get a bang for your buck when you walk into the gym. All instructors are personal, push you to the limit, and make working out fun. As a former collegiate athlete, this is the best place for anyone. One of the best instructors is, Erna. She will push in every class, especially in the “Fast Track” class. If you aren’t working out at X3 or with her you are not seeing the results. Come try the free class and you’ll get hooked. X3 is kid friendly with their classes as well.

Tony, the black belt, has a gift with kids. Truly a gift. Honestly watching my kid in a BJJ class with Tony gets me pumped up for life in general. It's therapeutic. Teaches true life lessons about not giving up, listening, working hard, and respecting your leader. Makes them WORK (read: burn off energy). Strict, but kind. A lot of teachers and coaches would benefit from following his pedagogy. This guy is next level.

I want to share my bad experience with X3 Sports. Before my contract ended in July, I tried to cancel it in June to avoid being put into a buying relationship after July. They directed me to their website to cancel, which I did. I didn’t think much of it until I received an email in August telling me that I would be eligible for cancellation in September, which was not true.
It wasn’t long before I discovered I was locked into a "subscription trap." They kept withdrawing money from my account for three months, totaling $450.00! This made me really frustrated and upset. I ended up having to reach out to my bank and cancel my card.
I thought X3 Sports would be more helpful and clear about cancellations. I warn others to be careful if they think about joining X3 Sports because getting out of this "subscription trap" is very difficult.

I've always wanted to learn Kickboxing but never had a chance to.
I went for an Introduction to Kickboxing at X3 Sports to see if it would be something I could commit to doing.
The instructor Terrance was amazing. He pushed me to do my best but also worked with my limitations of not having worked out in years.
He helped me correct my form and to not give up.
I left the class feeling energetic and refreshed.
Although the membership fees where not in my budget, I wanted to write a review based on my experience. I recommend X3 for anyone who want to learn or perfect Kickboxing techniques. Again, Terrence is a great instructor.

I recently became a member of this gym, and it was Marcus who assisted me with the registration process. His approach gave the impression that his main goal was to get me signed up. Throughout the interaction, he consistently prompted me to join and asked for my thoughts on joining. I understand that this may be part of the sales process, but it felt a bit persistent. Additionally, I was given misleading information about the inclusion of gloves and a bag in the joining fee. Furthermore, I found it unusual that he called my phone four times in pursuit of my registration.

The scummiest operational business. I joined their gym over a year and a half ago. Went in a few times the first couple months then took another job out of state. After moving I realized I didn't cancel my membership and so I attempted to do so. They told me I had to use their third party to do cancellation. I was prompted to pay a relocation fee to cancel when I was specifically told there was no cancellation fee for moving more than a certain distance of a set number of miles. I was unable to come up with the hundreds of dollars they wanted, which I shouldn't have had to pay. After getting caught up paying them for several more months fulfilling my full term 1 year membership that I thought would end this nonsense, they AUTO RENEWED my membership to continue charging me because I didn't elect to cancel! The audacity! The owners run this place like this on purpose to extract as much money from you as possible all the while giving 0 about you and your situation. TRUST THE PEOPLE who say this in their reviews!

The gym and the trainers are good, which makes this a shame. But God forbid you have to deal with the injury policy or the contract people.
Through a combination of lies and incompetence I had to pay 4 extra months of service that I did not use, as well as a bogus $40 fee, and 6 months of injury fees when I wanted to just cancel up front but was told I couldn't. This cracked up to almost $700 in fees for a time when I wasn't using the gym.
5 months into the injury fees I was told I could cancel for half the price of the remaining contract. I tried to do so and went through the steps but was continuously met with more obstacles and roadblocks that disallowed me from paying off my contract. They refused to call me back and anytime I reached out there was some new form to fill out before I could move forwards that wouldn't let me cancel that day. I took my cc info off their site and somehow they still charged me last month which I didn't even know was possible.
Lies, incompetence, an intentionally difficult system and REALLY shady accounting.
Like I said, I liked the trainers. But if you have any dispute whatsoever, expect to get fully screwed.

It’s my home away from home. I started training there (fast track & kickboxing) around late 2020. About a year later, I was teaching at one of their locations, and know I’m a master trainer @ La Fitness, teaching kickboxing and competing.

Their membership contract is a scam. Do not join this gym. They won’t allow you to cancel the membership until you pay the overpriced fee and they will keep taking your money regardless if you use the membership or not

Coach Terrance is the best for kickboxing! Every class is different and he always tries new things to keep us engaged. You can truly move at your own pace but he challenges you to push yourself and that’s how i started seeing progress :)

Not a lot of class options. One trainer was always rude and never seemed to want us there, almost seemed bothered we showed up. Definitely better gyms around with more to offer for the same price.

I've been going to X3 sports since August of 2022 and thoroughly enjoy all the classes I have been to. I mainly do Muay Thai but there is a vast amount of classes and workout equipment available as well. Everyone is very welcoming and I always learn each time I go!

I was unaware I was under a contract and was told I couldn't cancel. When I originally signed up this was not explained to me in no manner,if so I would have never signed up. They also refused a refund. This is not practical especially when keeping their good name (air quotes) when customers choose to leave.

Used the Gym a couple of times didn’t have much time for it so I tired to cancel the staff told me nothing they can do about then gave me a email turns out it’s year contract that you can’t get out of and have been charging me monthly without even using now how does that makes sense nobody told me there that it was a contract other gyms have no problems canceling I will take action to get my money back!

As a doctor of chiropractic, physical fitness is very important for both myself and my patients. I have to ensure I maintain balance, strength and precision during every adjustment. All the coaches have been exceptional at helping me achieve this goal, especially Terrence, Daniel and TT. Daniel has helped me with specific exercises for honing my adjustments. Terrence has helped me focus on core strength and balance. And TT has taught yoga in such a way to help restore my body after intense workouts or stressful days. They all deserve a raise!!!

I enjoy the gym a lot. Every class is a good hard work out that not only builds athleticism but also builds skills. What I would like to be able to see is the gym hold more events to be able to build team camaraderie, such as UFC watch parties or boxing watch parties, to where people can come together and enjoy the company of their teammates and coaches. Coach T is the man.

It's been awhile since I been. One of the main reasons 2 star is the billing and yearly contract. With my constant changes in work schedule and travel..it's not necessarily beneficial for me.
The classes and instructors are very caring in what they do. Unfortunately I just can't commit to it. Even though they have pauses. I had to move out of state for a bit and even then no exceptions. Ended up paying a large sum for months I didn't use.

I've been a part of the X3 family for 10 years. I love it! I have accomplished my goals, and then some while training at X3. Whether you just want to maintain or are training for something like football, military, obstacle mud runs, etc. this is the place to get it done. Set your goal and your pace, and STICK WITH IT!! X3'er for life!

Tried to get me to pay for adult price membership for my son because they don’t have availability for youth classes at a good time. I didn’t think it would be fair for me to have to pay for adult membership due to them not having good start time for kids. Their youth classes start at 5pm, which is terrible considering most kids of age get out at 5pm. They said I could do adult membership which has the start times being 5-6-or 7pm, but I would have to pay that price which is $30-$40 more expensive. They didn’t try to cut a deal or give a discount. Highly disappointed. Why don’t they have later start times for youth?? Furthermore, I expressed doing just Saturday instead. They wouldn’t even let me just pay for that or a daily rate

Great equipment but poor staff, I had to cancel my account because I moved across state for work before I left the lady at the front desk said she processed my cancellation and that I needed to send a bill for my new house. I sent it in, it’s been two months and I’m still being charged for a membership I have no access to. Shows me all they care about is money. Be careful signing up here.

Welp my time here has finally came to an end. I've been coming here since 2018 and finally got back into it after this whole Rona mess. I've been training with the same group of guys for years. Today was supposed to be sparring and when I'd geared up I learned they fired my coach for some bogus reasons. The owner apparently doesn't like hard sparring and real competition. Never once did he tell us prior that we needed head gear. He is so worried about the $$$ they left that out. Never have I've been required to use head gear since 2018. He wants the optical illusion of a mma gym but not the function. You would think as a loyal customer we would have more pull but I guess not. Time to trick people into 12 month contracts just for them not to take training seriously and default on it.
There is no need for me to be here any longer and I will be talking my money to his competition. The beauty of capitalism. To all my Army and military buddies that were going to come here due to my videos of our training on the forum don't do it. I will not have my reputation or name attached to this gym.

The worst gym franchise in atlanta you can go to. Unsanitary, terrible staff, and a very aggressive onboarder who lied about the contract. I was told i was paying month by month no commitments and could cancel any time without a fee. When i needed to cancel they said i would have to pay more than 1700 dollars. This is a scam. Please clean your facilities and please don’t scam people by lying about your contracts and aggressively making them sign right after their trial

I’ve never used or been to this gym, but wanted to leave a review based on my initial experience. I play tennis and swim because I like finding other activities to stay active. I was looking for a gym that offered kick-boxing as I’ve always heard it’s a good way to workout and fun. This gym stood out to me as it has kick-boxing and other workouts. I signed up for a free class and the website said someone would contact me.
The manager contacted me shortly after I submitted the form, but instead of mentioning the free class offer and how best they can make my first visit, he immediately started talking about a sale that was ending in a day.
I’ve never seen the gym, met the trainers, seen the equipment or other facility amenities and I’ve never done kickboxing. I wasn’t going to commit to any terms without trying it since they offered one class. Since I was going to miss the sale, he offered another offer if I signed up after the class. Again, can’t agree to that either, especially since it’s a 12 month contract with crazy cancellation fees.
This review is based on how the company was more concerned with making a sale than ensuring a good impression. Honestly, don’t offer and free class if you intend on pressuring people. I’m okay with paying for high quality gym. However, this experience coupled with all of the negative reviews that ONLY mention the pay practices tells me everything I need to know. It’s unfortunate as I was excited about the gym. They also need a variety in contracts, such as 3 or 6 months. Happy Memorial Day.

Everyone’s welcoming and polite. I feel like the coaches really know their stuff. After every session I swear I see the difference in my body. But it could just be the excitement talking. I attend classes with others who have been in the gym far longer than me but I never feel judged or inferior.

The gym itself is fine and some of the teachers are cool. My problem is the contract and how they just take money out whenever. They have third party companies handling payments and they blame each other instead of helping customers sort out the problem. What should be $89 a month was sometimes $206, sometimes $10, and all the time a hassle. I cancelled my membership and that was literally a 6 month process. I strongly discourage anyone from getting into a contract with them.
