I was told when i first signed up that if i ever needed to terminate my contract that it would be easy to do, definitely has not been. I had to freeze my account due to health and family issues. During one of the months of a freeze i got charged $99 instead of the $19 i was told i would get charged. When i called and brought it to their attention, they said it was a mistake on their part and to send an email. I emailed. After doing so I received an emailing back stating that even if i were to have a frozen account again, i’d still owe $99 (to which it doesn’t really sound like it’s actually a freeze… so what’s the point?) Then on the phone with Billy I was told my account was in fact frozen and my next payment would only be $19.00, but when I received an email about the freeze, it said $99.
Long story short I am very frustrated with how the North Marietta location is running their business. I have tried calling multiple times and was told I would be in touch with Scott to fix the issue and never was. I spoke with Billy who kept telling me to call back later in the day as if he would then have answers to my questions for me, but never did. It doesn’t seem like the workers have a clear understanding of customer accounts and contracts. I emailed Scott directly and heard nothing from him.
While no one ever got back to me, they went back to charging $20 a month and I just let it go while I saved up enough to terminate my membership. I emailed two weeks ago that I was ready to terminate my membership, and have heard nothing back.
Severely lacking in communication.

This was my second Visit to the North Marietta location. My wife and I attended an recent watch party event and promotional class lead by one of their veteran boxing coaches. We came back today to attend her first complimentary boxing class. I took fast track class before hand and then boxing. It was intense. I loved it. My wife enjoyed herself and had a great workout.

Training at this gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve been training in both Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu here, and not only have I grown stronger physically, but I’ve also built real confidence in my self-defense skills. The coaches are top-tier — knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping you grow no matter your experience level.
What really sets this place apart though is the community. From day one, I felt welcomed. Everyone looks out for each other, pushes each other, and celebrates progress together. It’s not just a gym, it’s a family.
And the UFC watch parties? Unreal. Fight nights here are an event! The energy is electric, and it’s such a great way for everyone to bond outside of training. It brings the whole team together, and honestly, it’s become something I look forward to just as much as training.
If you’re thinking about starting Muay Thai, BJJ, or just looking for a great gym with an amazing atmosphere — this is the spot. Highly recommend.

X3 sports is a great place to go. My seven-year-old son, 14-year-old daughter and I all do boxing many times when we are done with class, my son and I will get in the boxing ring and spar for a bit. He is only seven years old and they are doing a great job teaching him. at least one out of three times that we are here, the three of us also lift weights for 12:30 hour. They are very family oriented and have almost every type of work out you can think of. If you stop at X3 sports, make sure you ask for Billy. I think his last initial is G.

I cancelled my son membership with in 7 days but still they charged my card for $199 for next month payment, no communication received, no refund was issued for the initial payment as Jackson told me. Now they are saying its handled by different team and there is no way to contact them directly, just email or enquiry form. This is unfair Business practice and should be stopped. I am still waiting for refund.

I feel more comfortable and welcomed at X3 Sports than I have at any gym previously. I enjoy the boxing classes with Coach Buddha; he asks students to work hard, but he also helps students modify exercises to their skill level and physical capacity. I didn't come into his classes as a skilled or experienced boxer, but I'm improving, and Coach Buddha has supported & encouraged me throughout. I also like how clean & pleasant the facilities are as well as how friendly & helpful the desk staff is every single time come in.

Coach Buddah is soo good. Initially i thought for a person who is 34 years old and who is not into any of these trainings is so hard to learn kickboxing. But with such a coach it is never hard. Initial week is so confusing for me. But from next week i felt so good and i am seeing change in my strength, agility, and everything. I'd give everyone here a 10 out of 10 if I could. Thank you Coach Buddah.

After relearning how to walk from a motorcycle accident, I joined X3 Sports in January of 2022.
I began boxing with Coach Nandi and he was quite accommodating with my limitations; the sessions he leads are enjoyable and he will push you to your limits if you wish to expand your skills. The camaraderie shared amongst his class led to lifelong friendships, and how he teaches the class will not only help you improve your discipline in boxing but in life.
Coach Jack is one of the friendliest people I've met, and his method of teaching centers on enthusiastic response when you do something right, and gently and precisely refining your technique when you do something... not so right.
Coach Jason is a down-to-earth Jiu-Jitsu instructor, who makes newcomers feel welcome on the mats. I enjoy the warm-ups, which consist of positional escapes, and he will help people who are struggling by supplying concepts and techniques.

First and foremost, shout out to the GM Asim for helping me with my membership. He explained everything throughly and made sure I had the best package to fit my schedule. I didn’t think I would be back after the first class (which was FREE) because that’s how tired I was! I couldn’t breathe, I kept stopping, hell I even threw up! That’s a hard reality check, but something I needed. Out of shape you hear me! I have a son and I want to be alive and healthy in his future. Crazy part is, I actually felt good AFTER the work out. This is the first time in my 32 years of living that I’ve been consistent in the gym for 3 months straight. I go 3x a week, and try to push for that 4th day. Coach Buddah is amazing! Been in the game since he was 6 so he’s a vet with the boxing. This man will teach you everything you need to know and will really work with you if you’re dedicated. As he always say “It doesn’t get easier, but you get better.” if you’re interested, just do it! You won’t regret it.

I have stayed with them for a year already, but I can’t participate right now and they don’t answer emails, and won’t let you cancel without having to pay the rest of the membership. I want to start off by saying be very careful of the contract that you sign! The gym does not offer you a reasonable way to cancel your membership(also can be very complicated) That being said, if you have a full time job and you cannot be fully invested, I do not recommend this place. I personally ended up with so much financial damage because I could not attend classes due to my work schedule. Programs they offer were good, if you could really have yourself involved. The company will go further if they could look out for members' flexibility instead of focusing on capitalizing off their customers.

In short: Not just for free weights or mats. Don’t let the cost of membership scare you. Unrivaled value. If you show up for classes with a will to learn, the coaches here will lead you to success. Recommend for beginners of any training area (Especially weight training).
X3 may not be for EVERYONE. However if you’re looking for training in any area X3 offers, and you come with the ability to engage with your coach and ask questions, the value is unrivaled. This isn’t just a free weights/mats gym.
My experience at North Marietta has been amazing for my ~5 months of strength training. While the facility is small for one given focus (say weights or boxing), you still have all the tools you need to succeed. Plus, the smaller class sizes make it easier to engage with your coach.
With the recently expanded club hours, I’ve found the facility to be useful even outside the scheduled classes. So if it’s one of THOSE days because of work/school, I can likely find a time to come in and train.

I truly wanted to like this place but I don't and if you want to have any flexibility in your life then I don't recommend you becoming a member either. I recently lost my job and I am not able to cancel my membership because the only option is that I need to declare bankruptcy and show them the legal paperwork. The class times are not great for someone who *was* working so I was unable to use my 8 classes a month most of the time. I was hoping for 6am classes and communicating this to the GM since September and they kept saying "management knows and we are working on it, we need to find the people to teach them". Well it's February basically now and there are still no early classes. I wish I had the hindsight to cancel after my 30 day trial. The classes are very specific to martial arts. They want to teach you correct form and if you are messing up then they will correct you. This is good and all but honestly after a long day and during this PM class (only time I could go) you kinda just want to hit the bag, get some cardio done and be left alone. So now I have about 9 months left on my contract and I am going to dread going but I have to. Otherwise I'd be wasting money when I could be somewhere else that understands the need to be a little more flexible with their members. I reached out to the team to let them that I lost my job and it took 5 days to get back to me (in that time the full month charged my card) member services manager just reiterated what the contract states in an email. In addition, the GM knows that the times don't work for me. - To get to the point, if you want flexibility in your life and you aren't a serious boxer - don't become a member here. I really don't like leaving negative reviews but I have no other idea how to get through to this company. Holding people to a year contract when they aren't happy and have lost their jobs is utterly insensitive and it blows my mind that the owner thinks this is the way you should still do business.

Not the best. Took the free boxing course. No warmup so I ended up injuring my shoulder and calf (nothing serious). The "teacher" was on his phone the whole time and I got more coaching from other students than the employee that I only interacted with twice in 45 minutes. Then afterwards I tried to leave but they wouldn't let me until I was given the pitch to join. It's over $200 if you want to pay month to month or more than $150 month if you sign up for a full year. Neither of these cover the $199 activation fee that pays for gloves and tape but they will graciously reduce to $99 if you make a quick decision while you're riding high on endorphins. That's not an OUTRAGEOUS price but for an injury riddled, low coaching environment? I'll just watch YouTube videos and run on a treadmill. I won't be as good a boxer but I'll have thousands of dollars and more coaching than if I joined.

This is a serious gym, the trainers won’t let you goof around like in other gyms. My teenage son started in the kids boxing class and is now in Youth/Adult Boxing. All the instructors seem top notch, they love what they do, people come here to really work out and learn. Plus, the music they play is great. Coach Buddha is fantastic and a great motivator!

Really enjoying this gym (North Marietta) and the people and coaches. Everyone is friendly and supportive. My Husband does the Brazilian Jujitsu, my kids do the boxing and BJJ classes, and I have been doing the Power Track (weight lifting) class. Definitely family friendly. Even our 3 year old finds something to do either imitating me while lifting, or playing with the other young ones. I love having the kids grow up going to a gym everyday and working hard. It’s so important. The facility is clean, organized, and maintained. One little thing that I think would be amazing is if there where mirrors in front of the squat racks in the weight training area of the North Marietta Gym. It would really help to “see” and “feel” what you are doing and what your form looks like. It would really really help me and I think many others who aren’t as experienced. Pretty please? Great gym. Go there

North Marietta X.3 sports was absolutely phenomenal. Coach Jack is always helpful and always has a smile and makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.
Johnny Jitsu and his instructional BJJ class was out of this world.
This is a world class institution. Staff is professional, facility is spotless, and most of all you feel welcomed.

Long-time legacy member. The facilities and trainers are top notch. I have lost 37 lbs thanks to their trainers. One trainer, in particular, has been amazing and that is Dwayne Loudermilk. He is empathetic but solid at making sure you understand the fundamentals and have FUN too. I need someone constantly pushing me in my workouts and I have seen positive mental and physical results from X3 North Marietta.

All the times I have been the staff is sitting down. I needed assistance on what to do next and the young lady got an attitude. The female bathroom is always nasty. I do not like it here.

I had already done all I could do with my home workout routine. I wanted a skill I could put my time/energy towards. I decided that I would commit to boxing. I cannot express how it has helped me both physically and mentally. I am the type of Individual that has rediculous amounts of energy and it ends up taking form as anxiety. Since starting boxing I've seen that fade away dramatically. I have been hard at work with coach Buddha, dedicated to going into every X3 class I can and it has payed off. I started off completely helpless and not knowing proper movement or how to throw a punch. Coach helped me to correct my form, and now I am to the point where I have a really good foundation and just need to focus on improving.
Big thanks to everyone at X3 . Its a great place to learn MMA or boxing, workout, and build friendships.

It starts with the front desk. Teri always greats my family and I with a special or a happy birthday to my boys yesterday. :-) Then the coaches are awesome. Johnny is an incredible BJJ coach, Nandi is great with my oldest in Boxing and Dwayne is my awesome Kickboxing coach. X3 is like a family to my family. I've never been a member of a gym were Coaches and members should up to support other X3 sports competitors at a tournament. My boys did their first Jiu-jitsu tournament and their were coaches and members who were not participating, but came to provide support. That meant a lot. It's not just a gym, its a family.

This is a top tier facility! I have been training at X3 Sports for almost 4 years and in their entirety as a gym at their location conveniently placed at I75. I have just now decided to write a review after Dwayne Loudermilk asked for one. Starting with Dwayne, Dwayne is almost ludicrously over qualified to teach cardio kickboxing and is doing fights as I type this. He works in tandem with the boxing coach Nandi who I believe has been there the longest. The Muay Thai and Bjj coach Johnny has been teaching here for a while and is very much the heart and soul of this gym (I’ve trained with him more then all the other coaches combined so I may be biased). He has been training longer than I have been alive and continues to get better. Our newest coach is Kevin ( a world class submission grappler). He is very much raising the gym up and teaches the No Gi jiu jitsu. I also want to mention the power track coach Andrew. Andrew is a great guy who never minds me jumping into his classes or using the weights while he is coaching others. The front desk is great and the facility is very clean. The only complaint I have is that there is to much available and I never have enough time to train everything. So if you want to come twice a week or twice a day, you are more then welcome to.

Coach Buddha is by far the best boxing coach I have ever trained under. Not only his attention to detail on technique but his ability to push you past what you think you are capable of really stands out. He has built a very strong boxing program and boxing team at X3 sports. If you want to learn how to box and get an incredible workout come see coach Buddha.

Easily the tightest-knit gym environment I've ever been in. You wouldn't think that getting punched, kicked, rolled and tapped out would be the formula for return customers. But add-in the sense that everyone, students and instructors alike, want to help you reach your ultimate form. That everyone wants to show you where and how you can be better and that helping YOU improve directly helps THEM improve. Wrap all that up with the amazing people you get to work with and you couldn't pay me to stay away!
Iron sharpens iron and this place is an absolute Forge Just watch out for Terry at the front desk. I watched her bend a solid steel girder with her bare hands once. No foolin'.

Coach Buddha is an amazing boxing coach. He has a way of sitting back and really analyzing everyone in the class. If he sees something wrong he’ll point it out in an encouraging way and not make you feel stupid. If you’re doing it right he’ll also let you know and encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing. He’s very welcoming to new comers and sometimes has his more experienced students help the new guys out 1 on 1. He has a wide variety of drills and methods to practice every technique used in boxing. I’ve been coming for almost a month and I have rarely done the same drill twice. Coach Buddha is amazing and very encouraging and motivating!

X3 North Marietta has been my sanity saver since I started in July 2020. When I joined, the GM told me that most people end up wanting to come in almost everyday of the week but I had my doubts. Now, I go as many times a week as I possibly can and even spent my birthday doing PT and Muay Thai class. All the coaches are great but I really like working with Dwayne and Johnny - they are fantastic coaches and have become my friends as well! I love that they have kids classes too - my 5 year old does youth boxing and BJJ while I do kickboxing so it works out wonderfully.
