Overall, the gym itself, has been a decent experience. But within the past few days, I’ve received an email stating that this location was permanently closing on 11/12/24 and that my membership would transfer the onelife further down the street if I didn’t cancel. I called to cancel and I’m required to pay November’s payment and a cancellation fee. It’s not right to make customers pay a cancellation fee for an establishment that’s permanently closing. I will never get another membership with this company.

So I’ve been going here almost a year now and I’m not impressed they charge your card 2am Thursday for the monthly fee and if it doesn’t go through they add a 24.99 fee on top of whatever your paying even if you try to pay it the same day but later on in the day technically it isn’t late cause that’s the day it’s due they don’t care they will still charge you and I’ve had to pay even if the money was in my account it’s like they acting like they charged it just to get that 24.99 late fee smh .. and the equipment that’s been temporarily out of service been out of service since I’ve started lol this is ridiculous

For anyone thinking about joining the Austell location, pump the brakes.... Go for a tour and check out how many things are out of order..... I wouldn't be posting this complaint, but what really frustrates me is they charge a yearly "enhancement" fee. The enhancement fee runs around $50 a year. The monthly fees are sort of reasonable.... But in no way, should they be charging an enhancement fee when nothing is ever enhanced and there are many out of order signs and broken equipment. Here are some pictures......

Great gym! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Every interaction is a pleasant experience (and I'm introverted). The gym is kept clean with lost of equipment to choose from. The staff was thorough in their assessment and make sure I understood the equipment and importance of form. Lots of classes to choose from and the personal trainers are very knowledgeable. I wish the pickleball court times were more accommodating, but this is a GREAT gym!!

You want somebody who’s professional, certified, and watchin’ out for you during your workout then you ask for NaQuisha. Hands down the best trainer I’ve ever had. She adjusted for me when I got injured, communicates super well with me for flexible scheduling, and keeps me gigglin’ while doin core workouts. And I know you know that’s difficult.
So far, everyone I’ve met at this gym is super kind. The people at the front desk always greet me and ask me how I’m doin and I’ve never felt judged by any of them. Love the people here.

I was a member here for almost 4 yrs. I took advantage of the personal trainer option, and it proved successful. I feel stronger, and I feel better with the education i received. It is immeasurable. Grateful to Dwayne at the Youfit in Marietta. He is the friendliest face in the building when I go to workout! After almost a year of going to the gym and getting no results, he called to offer a complimentary fitness assessment. Immediately I was interested just off the strength of his genuine welcoming spirit! It was scheduled for July 9th with Myron. Myron was very knowledgeable’ it was amazing! He took my weight and BMI and used that to provide a plan that aligned with my weight loss goals. Since then I’ve been working out with my trainer Naquisha bi weekly and so far I’ve already lost plenty of inches, and increased my muscle mass by 2 points! Really exciting to see the results finally. Thank you to the team for reigniting the fire in my fitness goals. This is the reason I moved to this gym.

Before joining this gym, please proceed with caution since it is indeed a trap from HELL! The gym is decent, don't get me wrong. BUT I'd advise you to watch out for things like unstocked energy drinks/water bottles and inconsistent toilet paper supply in the women's restrooms. They could also clean their equipment much more effectively, in my opinion. My boyfriend and I were tricked into accepting this $1 first-month offer. Not realizing that everything goes wrong the moment you sign the contract. They charge you a fee if your monthly payment bounces back from the bank (because the card on file was locked, which I explained to them). And please keep in mind they REQUIRE you to set up auto-pay on your account. NO EXCEPTIONS. When I asked one of the team members if I could just pay in person and turn off auto pay to avoid future fees, he informed me that I couldn't and to contact corporate. Also, keep in mind you will be required to pay the following month in order to terminate your contract. I joined February 2024 and it is currently July 2024 and I'm battling debt collectors over a $400 bill they're trying to put on my credit. If at all possible, work out at your home gym to spare yourself the headache. That's what I did until I can find another gym that's not money hungry.

My husband and I went there to see the gym and learn about your personal trainers. Gym customer service: Poor. Manager over the Austell facility has lack of People's Skills. Communication, professionalism is Critical. When we first signed up with a personal trainer who pitched a great game left the business after about 3 or 4 section. That was a second red flag. We were placed with another trainer who is an excellent trainer. She has a lot of People's skills. Her name is LaQuisha. Anyone looking for a trainer, she's the best. We started training in January twice a week. The head manager was not nice to us from day one. We are senior citizens just trying to stay healthy. She stated that she's been watching my husband coming in for training under my name. They made that mistake not us. We both signed up for training at the same time. A lot of money is being taken out of our account each month with out any problems. Now she waits to harass us. On last Monday, May 13th, she approached my husband and told him she's been watching him and notice he wasn't registered, basically saying he can't train unless I pay for him to come in. I felt that she was incenuating that we were stealing service. Y'all already took our money for the month of May. She said he wasn't a member. Why didn't you catch that months back. We are Silver Sneaker members. We have two months of training left and because of her attitude I want to end my training in June. She needed to take that up with the trainer who signed us up. She was very lack in attitude and unprofessional. Her attitude was very unnecessary. You are going to loose out on a lot of customers with a manager like her. She is the rudest manager I have ever encountered. By the way the cleanliness is very poor. I trained on the nastiest floor for a month in the leg and arm training area near the door. It just got halfway cleaned the week of 5/15/24. There's a lot of things she need to do to keep the customers safe. To the owner, don't just apologize. Fix the problems. I don't feel all of these apologies are genuine. Management is in pretty bad shape.

Possibly one of the worst gyms.

The classes are great....but they made cancelling memberships a true headache. They really don't care about you once you say you're about to leave. I was charged $80 for my annual fee, even though I called in saying that I wanted to cancel (not even using it this year) plus an additional $25 for my plan. This company sucks.

This is a review from an honest customer: the business is in shambles. Coming in to take a look around and see if I wanted a membership and I was met face to face with a really stinky guy drinking peanut butter water who was all alone and didn’t know how to do anything as he went to find someone to help him help me. It was super unprofessional. I was told to come back and see Angelica Patterson the senior general manager of the club but taking her position in to account why wasn’t she there instead of the strange guy that made me feel uncomfortable? Ended up going to a better gym. Save your time.

was a member through 2022, but then I moved and we don't have any in the area. I haven't been to this gym since February 2023.
It was a great experience when using the gym- but I had a horrible experience trying to cancel my membership. I have been trying to cancel for months. I emailed and was told they couldn't cancel unless I canceled in person or by writing a letter. I couldn't drive to do it in person, so I wrote a letter. Then I received a call statng I still had dues. So I called customer care to pay over the phone. I told them that I am moving out of state and will no longer be using the membership. They said they could cancel the same day, but that I would need to pay my $61 dues first. They said that this would be a one time payment and no other fees. So I paid the $61. Now I am getting calls saying I owe $21 before my cancellation date on December 18th. I was told that I would not owe anything else and there would be no other fees. This has been very frustrating and annoying.
Again I liked using the gym at first - but God forbid you move - it is near impossible to cancel the membership conveniently. There needs to be the option to cancel on the app or through your account. I keep getting fees when I was told there would be a one time payment.

Canceling here is a nightmare! I shouldn't have to give my left Kidney to cancel. You don't need a reason or proof of a reason other than I'm not satisfied with my membership and I'd like to cancel.

This place has zero amenities, it's dirty, and the AC was broken during the summer months...If I wanted to work out in heat I'd work out outside. I only joined for personal training- the trainer I use is gone and there is no point in coming to a gym 30 min from my house. I moved so it's not as close anymore.

FYI: they use the same membership services as Crunch. I know this because I joined Crunch and they asked me about this one. I'd recommend no one joins this gym. They are only offering equipment and some classes. You'd have a better workout walking around your neighborhood.

As someone else mentioned every other comparable gym has resumed 24 hours. A small number of classes resumed on August 31st. There is noticeable dirt on the studio floor (since Rob resigned) so clearly safety is not the issue. Cleanliness should be essential to a gym, especially now. My workout schedule has been wrecked (particularly on the weekend) and I do not feel I'm receiving what I've paid for.
On a positive note, the staff is very friendly. Very good class instructors, however the 5:30am classes need to resume. Everyone cannot workout in the middle of the day.

Update: I'm so sick of having to come here and wait on equipment. This gym should have been back to 24 hours ages ago. And only 2 stairmills! Really?!! I cannot wait for the new Planet Fitness to open.

The gym had a nice refresh adding in a few new equipment and opened up the training section for all. Way better than driving 15 mins to another comparable gym.

Only complaint is that is may need more cleaning. It’s usually clean when I go but last Sunday, I noticed the turf on the side gym was very dirty and saw a roach crawling around. Hoping this was a one off occasion.

Customer service and quality of customer is way below previous Gold's Gym that occupied this location. There are numerous times the gym has not opened on time in the morning at 5am over the years. Cleanliness is not maintained anywhere in the gym. For over a year, the televisions were not turned in the cardio areas. Cleaning supply spray bottles are often filled with water rather than cleaning solution. I give them a 1 of 10 rating in every survey they request via email.

The gym has everything one would need to maintain or reach new goals. Staff are friendly. People keep to themselves for the most part. Patrons need to work on picking up/cleaning up after themselves. Cupholders aren't for cleaning cloths...The bathrooms/shower also need some work/upkeep but again I more so blame that on poor patron etiquette. There are ample trash receptacles and yet garbage is on the floor or left on urinals...There's always a sink that doesn't work. Would be a 5 star if not for those things above.

I joined YouFit to get in shape for soccer. The training staff here have been incredible in helping me train. My trainer Brock really listened to what I wanted to improve on, and the one on one personal training is starting to pay off. I also really enjoy the small group HIIT workouts. We do different exercises each time and I've really enjoyed the variety. I have trouble sticking with any fitness routine, but I've been coming to YouFit for over 2 months now and I'm still loving it!

As a fitness enthusiast, I frequented the KSU gym at Kennesaw as my primary workout destination. However, after obtaining a full-time job, I sought out a gym closer to my home and ultimately decided on Youfit. Initially, my expectations were modest; I intended to use this gym solely on days when my schedule prevented me from traveling to KSU. However, after a year of consistent attendance, I can confidently assert that Youfit has become my preferred gym. The facility itself is impressive, and the clientele is a major contributor to my positive experience. The front desk staff, particularly Thomas, have been exceptional in their efforts to provide excellent service for myself and my guests. Additionally, the recent renovation of the gym has allowed for a greater variety of workout equipment and enhanced my fitness routine. I love this gym. I see Brock, one of their personal trainers, and he is really helping me reach my goals. It's easy to schedule sessions with him, he has a great workout planned for me every week, and he pushes me to excel. Youfit has been my home gym for two years now. Faculty members and trainers are friendly and helpful when assistance is asked of them. Dillon is incredibly attentive of gym maintenance. Austin is informative and understanding of members concerns.
One of my favorite amenities of YouFit are their extensive group classes. My favorite so far has been Group Centergy with Michael, Group power & group cycling with Otis, and Group Zumba with Erik. Group classes are a great way to ease into working out. I look forward to trying out the new classes they’ve came out with, and using the new equipments they just added.
Gym members are fairly courteous, but to enhance gym etiquette Youfit employees assist by giving friendly reminders to re-rack equipment.

Nice staff and fully equipped to meet all your excercise needs except swimming and there's no basketball court... it's a true gym which I love! For those who are used to real gym work and not this cute stuff that people do in the gym, this place is for you! It's not super crowded and the restrooms are clean! I was actually trying to consider joining the gym. They called to set up my pass during my work time and I finally got a chance to speak to a rep to come in Monday morning. Got there, it was a new guy, he was like, “Just go work out.” Two other workers were there and didn’t say anything. I stayed, did my work out and went home. They decided to call me hours later. Said my name all wrong, even after correcting him, and was just rude. He stated, “I see you had a chance to tour the gym.” At the same time says I was a no show for 8 am. I was confused. I gave my name at the door. He asked for my experience, I said it was ok. And let him know no one showed me around. His next response was, ok have a nice day and hung up. No info about the gym, nothing about my pass, none of that. Unprofessional

There is also this young lady cashier who is so nice and caring and very understanding is always brightening my day, wish I got her name. Environment:
Definitely a middle class type gym, lots of machines, safety measures, and free lift presses.

What else is here?:
Every Wednesday I believe they hold a dance or aerobics class for men and women both to join, it's worth a look

Employees & staff:
The staff are good with conversation and do a good job to satisfy customer.

People at gym:
Tend to keep to themselves, no disrespect but don't mind conversation when initiated

Overall this is the gym I prefer to attend, very comfortable, low environmental stress, and easy to focus on goals and improvement

If I could give 0 stars I would! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Signed up because I was told I would not be under any type of contract. It was time for a new month of payment. At the time I found out I was pregnant I did not pay and called and cancelled my gym subscription because I knew I would not have the energy. Called several times about cancelling and did not go to the gym any longer. 1 year later and my credit score has dropped because some how a $30 a month membership turned into me owing $200 plus. IT IS A TRICK. THEY WILL LIE AND SAY IT IS NO CONTRACT TO GET YOU SIGNED ON BUT TRUST IT WILL BACKFIRE!

Equipment in pretty bad need of repairs/replacement. Not uncommon to have to change treadmills several times to find a working one.

Also, paper towel dispensers all empty, so they have rolls set out everywhere (usually on top of garbage cans). Not very sanitary.

So far, everyone there is really nice and the location is perfect for me, so I'm hoping they are just in a rut.

Have been a member there for years. Even before YouFit took over. The quality was decent before Covid. They had a solid team and seemed to be trying to elevate the quality. Since Covid, they can't keep any of the morning people on staff. For the people that start their day with their workout, it's becoming unworkable. They are late opening all the time and, since you can't foresee when they employee who is to open will get there, you are left in limbo. If the company and the manager cared, they would get up and call the employee responsible for opening and make sure they were going to be on time. It's ridiculous.

Also, the people that work out at night are complete slobs. They leave weights all over the place so the morning people are having to pick up after them just to get through a workout. Maybe they think it will impress someone, but the management needs to hold them accountable or come through and put plates back on the weight trees and just straighten up in general.

There is a new club opening and I am gone as soon as it's ready. I will miss all my workout friends from YouFit, but I"ve had enough.

I was on personal training at this location with Reginald Sampson, aka Reggie, for about 3 months. Reggie is an amazing human being besides a knowledgeable, encouraging, and passionate trainer. He would let me know his plan to achieve my goal and made sure it aligned with my mission. He encouraged me on my side in each round of trainings and pushed me forward to do the best I could and exceeded my limit every single time! I’ve been personal trained at other places too at a much higher price, but nothing comparable to him that was so effective and impressive. Best trainer ever if you are looking for someone to help you and motivate you and get you through the bottleneck you’ve met. Reggie would be someone those celebrities would invite to train them privately for a healthy and good looking body. Lucky to be trained with him and a life long friend for sure!

Great gym with very friendly and polite staff!

Went here Friday 11/12/21 on a guest pass because my gym was being renovated. Ended up getting a great starting offer and monthly rate. Plan to go accept that rate today because the gym was very clean and not crowded and had every thing a great gym should have. Great cardio equipment that worked well and strength machines that were in great shape and abundant. The lady at the check in desk was so nice and friendly and the other gym girls were polite and respectful of the gym and cleaned after each use.

Overall a great location to me, great equipment, friendly staff, and a positive workout environment! Thank you for allowing me to train here and offering such a great price. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey right here at this location!

I needed to start exercising,due to my Osteoporosis diagnosis, I was terrified,but I had to improve my health. I was so nervous on my first session that I was shaking, but I have a wonderful trainer who has helped me and I am thankful every day . Charles is amazing, he his patient and he is kind. I thank God everyday, that Charles is helping me get stronger and healthier. It has been 7 weeks and I am committed to getting my bones and muscles stronger with Charles help. Don't be afraid, just help yourself!

I visited relatives in Marietta, GA recently. I
Of course, ya girl needs to get her workout in regardless of the state she’s in! I found this gym with the help of Google, paid a small fee (it was either $5 or $10) and got in! I was planning to train full-body, and you know what? I had no issue in doing so! They had everything I needed and more! Take a look for yourself (pictures attached)! A man there, an older gentleman who was in better shape than I am, complimented me and I immediately felt like I was training back at my home gym! Fortunately, the gym wasn’t packed of folks ‘cause it’s always inconvenient to wait in line. lol 😜 I only trained there once, so can’t say much more. Overall, great experience! I have no complaints, not with the equipment, maintenance conditions or staff members- who welcomed me right in. 😊

I love this gym! It's clean and you can workout without feeling claustrophobic. Also, I trained with Dale, one of their personal trainers, for about 7 months. He's the best trainer ever and I have loved my entire experience at this gym!

They went downhill fast after it switched from Gold’s Gym to YouFit. They refused to cancel our membership after repeated requests, calls, and letters sent. This company has had several lawsuits due to not letting people cancel their membership and continuing to charge them after cancellation.

I loved the gym when I signed up even though it was not running 24 hours not offering classes. Unfortunately, I moved of town and tried to cancel the membership since this gym only has a few locations in Georgia. I was told I have to travel back to the gym I signed up with just to cancel and it's so sad that with all of the financial struggle during this pandemic, this gym has no option to cancel so I have to continue paying until I find time to travel back. I wouldn't recommend this gym for that reason and also because, as I mentioned, their locations are limited.

Its a gym, its inexpensive, they have almost everything you could need as a general population facility. Great environment. Dudes are trying to hit on all the women wearing tights, all the women are focused on their fitness and don't get bothered. The equipment is all generally up to date and functional, and the staff is constantly cleaning and making sure weight room is sanitized and clean. most people wear masks and the ones that don't are respectful of those that do and keep their distance.

Love the classes but since ownership change they stopped providing toilet seat covers and paper towels. I would be OK with no paper towels except they did not update their 20+ year old hand dryers that don't even dry your hands.
Update. They finally updated the bathrooms and now the hand dryers are new and efficient. Classes have started back safely after the COVID closing and I enjoy being back at the gym.
