YouFit has become my favorite gym in town. The manager Troy does a fantastic job running the place. It’s always clean. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable. I Love that I can come here at 5 PM and get a good workout in without waiting on equipment. This gym is definitely not too busy like most of the other gyms in town. Highly recommend YouFit. My wife and I joined the Kennesaw location on 1/4/25. We found out the next day that they had signed us up for the wrong membership. Over the next few days I spoke with various facility managers/employees and reached out to the emails and numbers I was provided. No one would help me correct the mistake. I had to take off work on 1/8 to mail a certified letter/returned receipt to the Florida Youfit office to cancel memberships, which arrived a few days later. Weeks went by as we continued to call the Kennesaw office, various help lines, email, etc . . . no help. Often times we were told someone would call us back, but nothing. Youfit would continuously bill me. We had paid about $200 (which included an "annual fee") within 1 month. I kept copies of the contracts, cancelation letter, certified receipt, etc and eventually used it and reached out the GA Office of Attorney General. Soon afterwards, I was notified that Youfit was finally terminating the contracts and we would receive full refunds, which we did after a few more days.

Great gym, terrible business practices.

I signed up for the basic membership here and started getting charged for the premium one. Only option was to cancel and repay the annual fee if I wanted to downgrade. Their excuse is always “we recently had a change in management”. Happened to my friend too.

I've been a member of this gym for a few years now, and while the gym is small the staff and the people that work out there are friendly. However, twice I have been mislead. Once I tried to transfer my membership to a member of my family and was initially told that I could and then was told that they were not able to do so. If you read the fine print from their own policy it states that a transfer of membership can be done. The second time, was more recent. They had a promotion for a $4.99 biweekly membership, when I tried to get one for my teenager, I was told that the offer was for people 18 or over. Unfortunately, nowhere online does it say that. I told this to the person helping me at the front desk and they agreed, however, the manager told them that for a person under 18 the offer was not valid.

I’ve been on a gym search this year, and after trying out a couple of group classes here and there, I finally decided to find a trainer that would tailor a workout plan specifically for me. For the same amount as the other gyms group classes, I now have a personal trainer that’s exactly the motivation I needed. I’ve been working out with Jose who’s just excellent at giving me a balanced workout and the extra push I wouldn’t typically get otherwise. After a few months I am more toned and defined than I’ve been since high school…definitely stronger. A huge thanks to Jose for the fitness and nutrition plan that works for me, and with great results!

Almost every time I have been there the staff has been inattentive and uncaring. The locker rooms are nice. The equipment is outdated and they don’t have good ellipticals which is my preferred machine. But the real reason I’m leaving one star is the cancellation policy. Like many other gyms, they’re shady and deceptive about if you want to cancel. When I asked what the cancellation policy was, they said all I had to do was call a phone number. I go to cancel after about ten months and get a phone tree that took forever for me to even get to a person, then was told I had to pay off the balance left on my membership (I had three months left so I paid three months worth of membership) in order to cancel. Person was obviously overseas and barely spoke English. So this place is shady and deceptive, don’t go anywhere that you can’t cancel your membership n club. They refuse to and kept making me call the shady number.

I joined YouFit early May 2024 looking for a place other than home to workout and a personal trainer. Akeem and Kourtney were my initial introduction to the gym and just made me feel welcomed. Kourtney assured me that she would link me with a trainer that would listen to my needs, my medical issues and would work with me. I did not want a trainer that would push and push because they would be so focused on my size that they wouldn’t see me, the person.

And Kourtney did good! I started my personal training with coach Blake. We did the initial assessment and he truly listened and heard me. Coach Blake pushes and motivates you to keep going. However, he is looking and when he sees a hitch or a weakness, he may stop a session and work out the hitch or rebuild the plan to accommodate the issue. He’s always paying attention, the sessions are fun, and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. He’s a font of knowledge when it comes to the muscles, stretching, etc., of the body.

I’m in this for the long run and I’m glad I have the support of coach Blake and Kourtney. Thank you both.

Been going here about two years now. Dumbbells are always racked unlike La Fitness. Mostly clean. Friendly environment; the bros are always motivating each other. They put in some new machines last year which are nice. They do have two deadlift/squat platforms. Dumbbells only go up to 90lbs which sucks, but for $12/month can’t beat it.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP. We called in to the location, cancelled the membership and agreed to pay the extra month as required... and then they don't do it. In my experience, they get you hooked on a program and then make it impossible for you to cancel it. They will misinform you about the cancellation process and then send it to creditors tantamount to extorting money from you. They will bounce you between the 'parent company ABC" and them selves creating an impossible situation and forcing you to make unauthorized payments. THESE PEOPLE ARE DECEITFUL

Will be canceling soon. These people take advantage of pregnant women. My pregnant wife was being charged $89/month for personal training sessions. She went to pause them, we were told they were paused and then they did the same thing the subsequent two months.

Now they won't refund the money, despite my PREGNANT WIFE being unable to use the training sessions AND she asked them to pause them and they did not. These people care more about making a quick buck than doing right by their customers.

Was a member for a couple years.
It was convenient and only $15/mo. Standard equipment.
Run by a group of kids, who shield management from customers and complaints. They work out there a lot. If trainers they are hurting badly for money. I rarely see anyone at all with clients. But they are probably pimped out by youfit so they hang around looking for opportunities. Such as mine.
One day I made the decision to approach one of the trainers (Marquis) for a one time session of training my two young boys.
$160. Tons of signatures required in the sign up process for this simple service. Marquis trembled at every turn in the process with an uneasy temperament. Very sketchy acting.
I was asked to not opt out of the auto renewal which I thought was odd but when I was looked I the eye and was told I’d be reminded to cancel I simply allowed good faith and trust to take over.
Huge mistake.
1 month later auto deducted another $160.
Of course when I brought it to Marquis attention, he was sooo apologetic and we got on their system and he canceled and claimed he refunded it. He said it would take weeks. Lol.
A month later and after many follow ups with Marquis fabricating stories about the refund going through corporate I knew I’d been had. Then the next $160 recurring charge was drafted from my account.
Again Marquis would continue with same promises it would be taken care of.
Got with my bank to dispute the charges. I have the cancellation agreement as evidence.
I have no doubt that if I hadn’t gotten with my bank, that Youfit and Marquis would continue drafting every single month. It’s criminal.
Stick with the $15/mo. Do not sign up for anything else or you’ll regret it.

This place nailed all three. Good sized space with with equipment for whatever type of work out you want to do. Kettle bells, TRX, free weights, squat racks(2), cables, and machines. They even have 20 feet of turf with a sled for the functional fitness crowd.

Everything was clean and all cleaning stations/hand sanitizing areas were full. The bathroom were spotless as well. They were constantly cleaning as I worked out. Don’t see that everywhere.

I called early in the day to talk about passes and Gracie was extremely friendly and helpful. When I showed up later that day to lift, Steve greeted me like a longtime member. You can tell this place is about healthy lifestyle and helping its members. If Youfit ever comes to my home town they will have a guaranteed member. Great job Youfit team!

First of all, the place is kept clean! It is immaculate, with machines and weights kept in top condition. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the patrons seem to be a good group - you don't feel out of place here. Personal training and group classes are available if you want them, but you can also do your own thing. I especially like that, on the strength training side, they have multiple machines for each workout, so you almost never have to wait for a machine. It's hard to beat the price for what you get.

Positives-Very nice gym with a good environment. Everything is clean and the staff will leave you alone to do your stuff which I like. I did wish that with their recent renovation they would get gear that works with fitness watches to help more accurately track your workout, but it really seems like they only painted their walls. Other than that, though great location with tons of parking. There is also a lot of great equipment to use.

Negatives- If an equipment is out of service, it will be for a while. There are also often sanitizing napkins left around that sometimes don't get picked up by the staff which I don't like when I am working out there.

I have been going to this gym over a year now and absolutely love it! The employees are very nice and inviting, the trainers whether being trained or not engage with you and give great tips. They also recently upgraded everything and got new machines and a grass area it’s rad! The gym and locker rooms are kept clean as a whistle! It’s a great atmosphere to be in.

Vegan a month ago with fitness goals, got connected to a trainer named Rylee and we have been working closely on those goals. I get motivated and excited to learn new things and push myself. Going alone to the gym would have worked, but having a trainer that I connect best with was a better more enjoyable experience. Do yourself a favor and buy a pack of training sessions.

I drove nearly an hour here to cancel my membership. The receptionist was in the back doing something when I got there and I waited over 10 minutes before she walked up. No apology for the wait, nothing. I paid 10 dollars to cancel my membership which is fine, but this could have been done over the phone. She didn’t ask for my ID so I know they only require people to come in to do it because they want to try to keep taking our money every month. She told me my confirmation would be sent to my email, but I was sent an email without the attached pdf confirming my cancellation details. So I called back and she resent the documents, but then this gal decided hang up the phone in my face…loudly at that. So I called back and told her about her lousy self and did the same to her. Professionalism has gone out the window. This place has gone downhill and I’m so glad I cancelled my membership.
