Outdated broken hoist machines - exactly one per excercise - likes of which you can find at your grannies garage. Worse than any 3rd world country gym. Not sufficient to do any resistance training. The weight section is too crammed.

I came to 24 on Bishop after going around the island looking for the best 24 hr fitness club to join. Immediately upon entering I was greeted with a phenomenal staff that had the jams playin, dancing, genuine customer greetings, along with laughter and great vibes. I joined 24 through Active and Fit and tried to get the staff at the Kapolei Club to assist me where I was bluntly sent away to “figure it out” because of their lack of knowledge of how the partnership between “Active and Fit and 24 hr” worked. The crew at the club on Bishop St in Downtown Honolulu that I speak so highly of was Randaline and Justin. They took me in, conversed with me about anything and everything and make me feel so welcome to not only 24 Hour (Bishop) but to the island; offering to chaperone me around to check out all the great things O’ahu has to offer. If this is what Aloha and ohana is (I’m a native mainlander) , then as long as I live in Honolulu, I will be attending this Club. Mahalo Randaline and Justin. You guys have made my entire night.

Having 24 hr fitness on Bishop St Honolulu, HI return my expired drink of 12/2024 today. 9 months old!! Interesting it was on sale for only $2. Now it makes sense. Come on people. Lets be better!!!!!

Walking into this 24 Hour Fitness is honestly distasteful and disappointing. Broken equipment everywhere, mold on the walls, and a ceiling that looks like it’s barely holding together. The spray bottles for cleaning are never filled, there are only two tissue stations for the entire gym, and even those rarely get stocked.

The jacuzzi is dirty, the showers have mold, and hair is scattered everywhere. It’s unhygienic and unacceptable. This place needs to be shut down by the health department until it meets basic safety and cleanliness standards.

Shame on you, #24Hr, for charging people their hard-earned money for such an unkempt, neglected gym.

I've been a member of 24 hour fitness for 18 years, and I've been to dozens of different clubs and 24 hour gyms over the years. I've never seen a sauna in worse condition than at this gym. It looks like there is literally black mold all throughout the wood, the tile hasn't been cleaned in ages, the smell is really bad, and it's overall a health hazard to its members at this point. I spent over 6 months telling the staff and management there until I finally couldn't go back anymore. It's very unfortunate because it's the only 24 hour fitness in town with a sauna. The last couple times I went, I actually walked out feeling a little sick, so I never went back. I emailed the club manager and they made lots of excuses for why the sauna was in such an unsanitary condition, but never took action, and now it's been another 6 months so I had to say something. I hope I've finally got the attention of management since you have ignored all of the members who have complained about it for over a year. Someone call the health dept lol.

Hit and miss. Very inconsistent from the guest service, to the cleanliness. The wood in the sauna looks like it’s never been changed. All the best equipment is reserved for private training. Good luck finding a pair of 25 lb dumbbells. yoga has been the same class since 1966. It is conveniently located across the street from my office, otherwise I would find something better.

The gym opening on time at 5am is questionable. More so, the responses to this particular problem seem AI generated and there remains nothing done to help the customers who are there in the morning waiting for the gym to be open. All of the equipment is old, dirty, and rusty. The machines, the benches, the weights, the cardio equipment, etc… all of it is old with the rubber or plastic cracking and labels faded or missing.

It’s called 24 hour fitness, yet isn’t open 24 hours ANY day of the year. Not only that, it’s twice as expensive as any other 24 hour fitness on the mainland, but for half the value and amenities.

Many people, including myself, come here only because it’s the only local option. It’s clear that all of the equipment and weights were donated from other gyms. A majority of it is old and loud with all the buttons worn off.

No hate on the staff or anything, but the monthly cost is ridiculous and the cleanliness and quality of equipment is a joke.

Great gym for the location. They need to put more pride into their bathrooms instead of putting a pride flag in your face as you walk in. Someone pooped on the floor in the men's bathroom, and all they did was put a sign above the poop until it was cleaned up later. When the employee cleaned it up, he didn't even follow the trail in the stall. They need to deep clean the locker rooms and bathrooms more frequent than they are now. The hot sauna is black under the wood. Please wear shower shoes when in there. Been coming here for a while now, it's always been gringy.

Great little (tiny) gym. Too bad it's the only one on the island that's not open 24hours. It caters to the downtown crowd, who aren't walking around, going to the gym in the middle of the night. If you go when it's packed you might have trouble getting the machine you want as for most muscle groups there's only one machine per. And for legs... You're better off just going to kapiolani for leg day unless you're all about the free weights. Alas, this gym is a block from my house, so I put up with it.

I called ahead to find out where they validate parking. I spoke with David who said they validate at Executive parking 5-7 and 4:30pm. Im guessing I heard 7-4:30pm and I mistakenly parked there and had to move. I called at 12pm. Im wondering why I wasnt given any parking options for that time? I got to the lobby and someone else was at the front desk and explained I could park at Kalihi at 75cents per 30 mins which is better than executives $4 for 30 min rate. I called David back to talk to him about this and he said he told me the correct time and I asked why he didnt suggest any other parking options and he hung up on me. The parking situation is already inconvenient and then there is bad customer service on top of it. Im still gonna go here sometimes maybe but I'll not deal with any of the parking nonsense again. Only if im conveniently in the area already.
