Happy New Year!
I have been attending Body and Brain classes for two years now, and I love how relaxed I feel afterward. Master Cat is excellent and incredibly knowledgeable about all the exercises and their benefits for the body.
I’m also learning how the body and brain need to work together, which is no easy task!
Master Cat is someone you should meet. She genuinely cares about your health and well-being.

I have tried many many physical and mental modalities to improve my well-being. Aiea Body and Brain is like nothing else I’ve ever done before. It’s amazing that Master Kat has managed to incorporate mindful, spiritual, and physical wellness all into one class. At first glance you may think it’s not challenging but I assure you that if you feel that way then you are not understanding the focus, attention, and awareness that is the goal. I have never been so in touch with my own energy as I have been since starting classes here. Not to mention my strength, flexibility, and balance have improved as well. I have arthritis in my back vertebrae and have received an array of interventions. During these procedures, my B&B zoom classes have been “my constant” that has helped me with my energy level and physical well-being. Recently I complete a 5-day Solar Body Qigong class. By the second day I overcame my fear of injuring myself I had to trust myself and push myself within limits. It was challenging, but I am encouraged to continue to practice the basic routines that I learned.

When I first joined them, I remember had a knee pain and also my body was not flexible. After taking classes regularly my knee pain despaired in a few months and my body is very flexible now. I’ve been taking a special Saturday class since 2020 at Body and Brain which is now run by Master Cat, manager of the Aiea center. This is not your typical yoga place. Physical and spiritual training are equally emphasized- in such a logical way, so why hadn’t I ever thought of it?? The masters genuinely care and love all people and the members are warm and accepting. Since then I got pregnant and trained all the way up until the day I delivered. I had an amazing unmedicated birth. At Body and Brain I continue to learn to relax my mind, learn about myself and get stronger!

I began taking classes about 3 years ago to improve my balance and flexibility. I find that these exercises do that and much more through the movement of energy throughout the body for physical and mental wellness. I’ve been participating with BnB Yoga for 14 years and I plan to continue this practice for the rest of my life!
By attending a one-hour class, I am able to move and stretch my body, meditate to calm my mind, and recover my energy balance! The movements are easy, but powerful.
In addition to daily trainings and special classes, there are also opportunities to travel! I’ve participated in meditation tours to Sedona, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, New Zealand, and Korea! In addition to sightseeing and eating great food, we enjoy nature and meditate to grow our souls!

Thank you B&B Aiea center staff for your caring support. When I mentioned my hands and feet are always cold, staff recommenced that I do whole body tapping, belly button tapping and deep breathing to enhance Ki energy and blood circulation. I tried doing these exercises when I had time and my hands and feet would get warm for a while. Now to do the exercises daily and regularly to keep the ki energy flowing. My first day at Body and Brain in Aiea was on Memorial Day, 2022. Body and Brain has been an integral part in my journey to recovery and wellness from a major 3-year bipolar depression. My daughter had me enroll in B&B after seeing me at home, staring at the 4 walls, and not being able to do "normal" things, such as socializing, cooking and driving.
I was in a vegetative state. B&B had been my lifesaver, as it was the ONLY HIGHLIGHT in each of those days. B&B has been an essential part of my life, as I am now happy, grateful and ALIVE! I am enjoying my life to the fullest!
I am most thankful to have "discovered B&B AND Master Cat! Master Cat's enthusiasm, warmth and passionate support towards her students are reasons that spur me on to not missing a single class. She is dedicated and committed to providing the best experiences for her students. Since doing training with Body and Brain, my physical health has improved. My knee and hip pain are gone and my balance has improved. I also had digestive problems with reflux which were quite severe causing other problems. Now I rarely have problems with reflux. My spiritual health has also changed. I used to hold things in and was reluctant to speak to people. Now I am able to let things go, accept help and talk more freely with people. When I started Body snd Brain Yoga about a year ago, I realized how unbalanced I was on my feet. Qigong Wednesdays were torture for me because I couldn't do the moves without taking extra steps to keep from falling. Master Kat broke down the qigong moves and along with leg and ankle strengthening exercises, I can see myself improving - sometimes my feet will firmly hit the floor without those extra steps!
Master Kat uses verbal cues throughout all our exercises and that helps me to focus.She encourages us to do these exercises at our own pace, always reminding us to do what we each can regardless of how much everyone else is doing.
She has taught us to "love [our bodies]".
She has taught me that it's possible to see improvement, not only during Qigong, but improvement in overall mental and physical well-being.

I encountered Body & Brain at a Body Mind Spirit Expo. At their table, I enrolled in classes, as I was looking to begin on a self-care journey. My initial conversation with them instilled confidence that I had found the right place.
I have been attending classes for approximately a month now, and the experience has surpassed my expectations. Recently began doing classes...results have been just wonderful!!! For the body...like to play golf...not that am any good but with almost (trying to) daily training at Body and Brain found round of golf to be much more enjoyable...like it should be. Golf has become less strenuous, more relaxing, more FUN!!! But still not any good.
Guess that this also has to do with sychronizing our Body and Brain...because although am just as busy at work, it's a lot less stressful and seem to be able to get more done.
At 72-years...I'm still feeling ALIVE!!!

I enjoy body & brain as it focus only on what I am capable of doing. You never feel pressured to keep up with anyone but yourself. I find strength training class very helpful in improving all parts of my body. As for my mind, I am slowing understanding the connection that my body has to my brain. I first discovered BodynBrain Yoga Tai Chi 2 years ago after watching the “Love Heals” film. In the trailer at the end were ways to contact your local center and I called Aiea BodynBrain Center. It was the best decision I made. Master Cat answered and welcomed me with care and compassion and thus began my journey to self healing. It was so great that they offered classes over ZOOM since I live on the Big Island of Hawaii.
I have had Type 1 Diabetes for over 20 years and the classes which offer breathing, deep stretching, vibration training, and body awareness, qigong, Taichi and more have contributed to lowering my A1c and making my Diabetes and stress more manageable. All of the Masters (teachers) are excellent and truly care about helping you find that brain and body connection and achieving overall health physically, mentally and spiritually. I am truly grateful for all of the Masters and fellow members in helping me on my journey to optimal health.

I have been a member at BBYT Aiea Center for 8 ½ years. When I joined at the age of 60 I did not have any expectations since I had experienced on and off been with many other exercise, yoga, taichi, karate classes. None of them lasted very long.
I learned quickly that BBYT was different and beside having the choice of being able to go to any of their classes from 1 day (class) a week or every class offered by them is very appealing. During and after Covid they offer Zoom class as well.
I did and still believe in mind over matter = Body and Brain, Brain and Body.
My personal experience with BBYT:
Both my knees used to crack from a young age until when it stopped cracking after just few months.
My flexibility better than I was in my 20’s.
I can steadily walk for 5 miles without a break.
My balance has steadied.
Learning how to align my chi energy.
They offer many various classes and meditation tours to better oneself.
Reminders of all the things that you know its right for you as an individual.
I have seen through the 8 ½ years of other members from their 1st day not being able to get on the floor to going down and up from the floor with ease and being more flexible. Their attitude, self reflection, energy level has been very noticeable.
I do recommend anyone of all ages to BBYT.

In August ‘22 was my first Yoga class at Body & Brain Aeia Center. My mother and I met Master Carol. She gave us a one-on-one session. It was fantastic. We learned tapping. The next day my mom was tapping in her own. We both learned something new about being in touch with our body & self healing.
In November I returned to Hawaii from California for 2 weeks to take daily yoga Tai Chi classes and Energy Healing Courses. It’s an altering experience for me. Body and brain gave me my life back. I just finished my cancer treatment and my muscles and body got really weak. My goal was to play golf again but after treatment I didn’t think that was going to happen. After doing classes everyday for two months I was able to play golf and feel almost normal again. Body & Brain on-line classes are very convenient. With 3 class times per day Monday-Thursday, 2 on Friday, and 1 on Saturday, I can attend a class almost every day. I live on a different island from Aiea Body & Brain center so am very
grateful that I am able to attend the zoom on-line classes. This yoga program is nothing like I had anticipated. So much more than the other yoga classes I attended in the past. And even though it is through their zoom program the instructors take the time to ensure you are doing it properly, give positive feedback and keep us motivated. I get great muscle toning and brain/body awakening with the core exercises, Tai Chi/Qi Gong, vibrational/frequency trainings and meditation practices. I began attending Body and Brain about 7 months ago and since then I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my overall stress level and state of mind. I used to have problems sleeping, trouble relaxing and low energy. Overtime those feelings began worsening which prompted me to try the Body and Brain center. I wanted to find something a natural release and nothing else I’ve tried really seems to work. After about couple months I started to get back on a normal sleep schedule and found it easier to reach deeper states of relaxation. Everyone at the center is really nice and welcoming, so are the people that go there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for great way to relax and get in touch with yourself.

This is one of the best experiences I've had on island. Ive gotten to meet a lot of diffrent people of all ages. In exploring myself in my classes, I've open myself up to new clarity, greater flexibility, and a better connection to other people. There as days on the weekend when we get to help out keeping the facility clean wiping off the sweat. They make themselves availible after some of the sessions to offer tea or hot water to the students and we all get to share our expierince and take away from the class. I've been able to open up with the instructors and other students. The clarity from the class helps me clear my head at work and beet every day with the lessons I learn. Its a great way to keep active and you get everything you put in. The community is great and i love to laugh with everyone. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a community, a place to relax, a place to get active, and a safe place to express yourself.

I didn’t know what to expect when I first came but the journey has been amazing. Both masters and assistants create an experience that improves not only your physical condition but mental also. I joined Body & Brain Yoga Aiea 4 years ago and love the classes, instructors and Master Park. I first joined for the exercise and meditation. In the process, I lost weight and now have more energy and am able to focus better. Through the various different supplemental classes, it has helped me to become much more focused as well as more compassionate and understanding of myself as well as others. One of the best supplemental classes is Finding True Self. I'd highly recommend this class for everyone--it is truly amazing!!

I love attending Aiea Body and Brain Yoga because whenever I leave I feel reenergized and more flexible. I have knee problems but when I leave my knees feel better. I try to attend 6 days a week because I see the most benefits when I attend consistently. I thought I was physically fit, but during a screening at a recent dental checkup , I found out my blood was elevated. No wonder I was feeling sluggish and dizzy at times. We lucked out by trying out Dahn Yoga. After 1 session, I knew I found what has been missing in my wellness program. I attended every day for about two weeks, and during a physical checkup my BP went down from 172/112 to 130/82. I give credit to Dahn Yoga because it was the only change that I made in my lifestyle. My wife and I initially signed up for a month, then after liking it so much we signed up for 3 months. However, because we both feel so energized and so positive about our wellness progression even in a short period of time (1 month) we have decided to extend our membership to 1 year.
