Love Love Love Body Balance Hawai'i! Initially started coming here tagging along with a family member who unexpectedly found not only physical, but mental health benefits from attending classes here. I tagged along, at first begrudgingly, to 5am BodyCycle classes and during the first few classes balled my eyes out during the parts when the lights were off and it was just you vs you, and the inspirational vibes from the instructors and fellow attendees. Now I am a BodyCycle addict! I have dropped about 40+ lbs, forgone my gym membership and look for any opportunity I have to attend classes here. It is truly a great community! Unbeknownst to each instructor, I really do believe that with each class we attended such as BodyCycle and Pilates Reformer, those tiny moments of positive encouragement, inspirational phrases, it all helped the healing and in a huge way provided a safe space to clear our heads. I can still hear Grace (previous instructor) saying, "Let that shit go!" where I thought she was talking about "issues" but now I realize she meant the cycling LOL! Nevertheless, I will forever be grateful and absolutely LOVE this studio!

My favorite thing about Body Balance is their wide variety of classes, including BodyCycle (rhythmic cycling), microreformer, pilates, and strength training. Unlike many boutique fitness studios, Body Balance has a shower which is so convenient if you have a busy schedule and can't make it home before your next thing. There's something for everyone, no matter what experience level, and the staff and other members are so welcoming!

i had the pleasure to try the studio while on holiday in oahu and it has been a great experience. the staff was lovely and the class very fun and energetic. the studio has a shower and nice products too. overall it met my expectations and i would love to go back if i’ll be on the island in the future!

I was interested in body balance because one of my besties has a membership and takes classes here. I did the 3 free classes for kamaʻāina offered on their website and loved it! Did cycling with Kelsey, pilates reformer with Suz, and ass & abs with Bethany for my free trial. It was so much fun and a great workout each time! Ended up purchasing more classes and have taken pilates and microformer so far with Suz, Chantel, and Kelsey! I plan on continuing to take classes in between my gym schedule. Highly recommend (:

I seriously can’t stop smiling after my first class at Body Bar Pilates Ala Moana! The studio is so clean, bright, and honestly just gives off the best girly, chic vibes — I felt like I was stepping into my dream life the second I walked in.
The instructors are so sweet and made me feel super welcome (even though I was lowkey nervous lol). The class was such a good balance of a challenge and fun — I definitely felt the burn but in the best way.
If you’re looking for a place that makes you feel strong, feminine, and like that girl all at once, Body Bar is 100% it. Already planning my next class!
This is definitely going to be one of my happy places while I’m in Hawaii!

The Body Cycling class at Body Balance is one of the best workouts I’ve done. It’s only 45 minutes, but every minute counts. I always leave sweaty, satisfied, and feeling like I got my money’s worth. The schedule is super flexible too, with classes from 6:00 AM to 6:45 PM, which is perfect since my own routine is all over the place.
The vibe is always high energy. The instructors are friendly, informative, and super motivating. You can tell they love what they do, and that energy spreads to everyone in the class. It’s a fun, supportive environment where people actually want to be there.
The space has a club-like feel in the best way, great lighting, great music, and none of the downsides. Between the music, the energy, and the workout itself, I always leave feeling incredible. No regrets, ever.

I have been coming here for over a year now and every class never disappoints. They have a lot of class options to choose from & You will definitely will make every work out worth it.

Amazing studio! I have taken two classes at Body Balance and loved both of them! I took mat pilates and reformer pilates level 1 and both classes were great and Tiarah offered help with modifications and form. I love the small classes and attention to students they offer. If you are a beginner and thinking of taking any pilates class this is the place to go!

I have used this gym for 6 months from Sept 24 till beginning of March 25. Trainers and energy in the class are good, although my experience wasn't good due to management issues which impacts your planning and budget directly. On demand classes are fully booked most of the time and you need to wait in the waiting list. This ends up not able to finish your class credits timely. I have requested twice that my personal information to be removed from the system, which is still not actioned. One class is mischarged to my account and never returned back. I also couldn't use a gym class since it has been cancelled last minute, and I did not receive compensation for that class. Overall, my experience was unfortunately bad. I expect proper actions taken instead of dry apology in the replies.

I mostly attended Kashmira’s BodyCycle classes and absolutely fell in love with cycling. Kashmira is so welcoming, encouraging, and enthusiastic throughout her classes, and her classes are suitable for beginner and advanced riders alike. I’ve been to a few cycling studios on the mainland, but genuinely nothing compares to this place! Shout out to Jonah too for the fun class that I took with him! Can’t wait to be back when I’m back in town!

The whole Body Balance team blows me away every time I’m there! The staff at the front desk, every single instructor , and the owner are all just so so amazing!!

I originally came here to test out the cycling class because I’ve taken them before at other gyms. I ended up LOVING not just the classes but also the instructors and members at BodyBalance. Everyone there is so welcoming and the ambience is nothing but positive and enlightening vibes! Love coming here on almost a daily bases and sometimes 2x a day! I was invited by a friend to come and try Microformer at Body balance - which I totally fell in love with and decided to incorporate it in my fitness routine. Was definitely getting bored of just going to the gym and wanted something new to supplement my current routine. Then I found out that Body balance offers so many other classes like Pilates, body cycle, yoga, etc! That’s when I decided to become a member for their unlimited classes. Initially I was more interested in their Microformer and Pilates classes but surprisingly I also fell in love with body cycle! Although I definitely struggled with it in the beginning (I usually only did light cardio), Body balance just knows how to make it so much more fun and enjoyable from the lights, to the music, the atmosphere, and the instructors are really nice and so motivating - it makes cardio so much more fun and tolerable! Which I really appreciate because I use to dislike doing intense cardio/HIIT but now I love it and it’s so beneficial for our health! Thank you Body balance for helping us stay in shape, get stronger, and live longer :)

What ISN'T there to say about Body Balance? At the start of 2024, I had made a choice to sign up for a gym in the hopes of finding a workout routine that really worked for me. I had tried running, I had tried traditional gyms, I had tried at home workouts, I felt like nothing I did was making a difference in my physical and mental well-being. I wanted to try something new, and so I signed up for the 3 class trial at BB. I left my fist Pilates class, taught by the amazing Suz, feeling like I had just opened the doors to a life changing experience/opportunity. I felt like I had found the gym for me, and I was feeling excited to workout (prior to BB, I had NEVER felt that way). After trying cycling with Syd and Ass&Abs with Rachel, I immediately signed up for the all inclusive membership, and I feel like my life changed for the better. Each of the instructors put so much time, thought, energy, and effort into their classes, and you can feel it. Everyone is focused on safety, inclusivity, and ensuring that you get the best workout. The community at BB is unmatched, and you will feel you've found a second family. Every instructor there will encourage and empower you through both your fitness and personal journey. If anyone reading this has doubts about joining a new gym, or you feel nervous to put yourself out there, or maybe you're unsure if Body Balance is the right fit, I would without a doubt tell you to try it. Personal shoutout to Kash's cycle classes, Chantel & Suz's Pilates classes, and Rachels kick BUTT Ass&Abs classes. Body balance changed my life, and I bet it will for you too!!

This place is awesome! I started going to this studio during a major fitness transition in my life and was grateful for the gracious trial period they offered. During that time, i was able to try two new class styles I’ve never experienced before and ended up loving them! I normally don't write reviews but Body Balance really does deserve 5 stars. I was looking for a Pilates studio and ended up getting hooked on the cycling classes (I especially loved Kashmira's and Chala's!). Everyone who works there is so kind and knew me by name within a week of taking classes. The vibe in class is very motivational and it's always a great workout. I had a tough summer and Body Balance was a place I knew I could always come to feel better. I was almost deterred by the prices since I wasn't on island long enough for a membership but the money I spent was more than worth it. I absolutely love this studio!! It's close by and super convenient. The instructors are outstanding and I really enjoy the small, intimate class sizes. You really get personal attention, especially when you are fairly new to the world of Pilates.
SUZ kicked my butt in Pilates Reformer yesterday and I loved every minute of it. She really knows how to activate every muscle in the body. I felt so much taller by the end of the class. Can't wait to take another class with Suz.

I absolutely love this studio. As someone who hated going to the gym (but would do so grudgingly), I get super excited to go to Body Balance. I originally went to their old location in Ka'kaako and the Ala Moana location is just as fantastic. Their new teachers and equipment is great. I wish I can find a studio like this in the mainland. It's very unique and I love the variety in the classes. I also love the events that they have! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is new to working out and never really liked moving their body. I highly love their pilates reformer classes!! All of their teachers for reformer are great.

Not sure how they got 5 Stars, or costumers. I am under the impression it’s the same group of teens or young adults that use this gym or club or whatever it is over and over again. They don’t sell, the place, they don’t welcome you in, they say their classes are fully booked when they aren’t. Hello do you like money? Do you want new people to want to sign up for your gym? This is one of the best fitness studios out there. The staff makes everyone feel welcome, the customer community is fantastic and the classes are top notch. I am a cycling and pilates junkie and the classes at this studio are on par with some of the top studios in the US. In the cycling classes you ride to the beat of the music in a dark room. The instructors each have their own unique taste in music but every class is high energy and upbeat with one song dedicated to arms towards the end. The pilates classes are challenging in the best way and the reformers are high quality and simple to use. If you are considering signing up for a class, just do it! I can almost promise you will love it and be back for a second class.

Since starting with Body Balance, I’ve fallen in love with the Barre inspired classes with Brandy’s BootyBurn and Jenna’s BodyBARRE.
These ladies teach great form for isolating those small muscle groups. Class times are convenient for both morning and afternoon schedules. Chala runs a wonderful studio and has very energetic instructors. Take a cycle class if you’re up for a challenge. Those are my new favorite.

Was introduced to this spot a month ago, and it has been an amazing ride! The safety protocols are great with everyone getting temp checked on arrival and during arrival into class and departing class everyone goes in one by one to ensure social distancing. Masks are used during class for everyone's safety so you have peace of mind.
I've done the cycle classes by Kashmira, and it is pure FIRE! Amazing play lists, high energy, choreo and a sweat and burn like no other. It's like a dance party on a bike with an amazing workout as a bonus.
I always leave the floor in a puddle of sweat and ride the high for the rest of the day. They have great intro specials you can't beat. Worth every penny! Try it, you won't be disappointed. I hope to see you on the bike!

I recently joined Body Balance to kick that extra “COVID cushion” I’ve come to acquire over the past few months. It’s been so long I forgot how amazing it feels to back in the gym and share a workout in a (socially distanced) group setting! The facility is sooo cute and the instructors are kind, informative and keep you motivated throughout the workout. Tonight I had a cycling class with Kashmira and it was EPIC!!!! I’ve been taking cycling classes since college and she hands down was the best instructor I’ve ever had! Her music was lit, energy phenomenal and the ride was intense enough to make me feel like I earned my Thanksgiving dinner without being too intense to keep up. 10/10 would to anyone in Oahu!!

This is my favorite studio ever! I used to take cycle, barre, and yoga in LA and this studio is like a dream come true! The instructors are really motivating, welcoming and super talented. The classes are really challenging but no matter what level you are at the staff makes you feel great. The studio is so beautiful and very clean. Plus, they have on-demand classes that you can do from home. Love you, Body Balance!

Great studio! I love the fact that it’s a smaller studio with intimate classes and you have more of an interaction with the instructors. Cycle class is my go to, the music is always Pumping and gets you hyped up for the ride. Nat and Kashmira Are my fav! They really know how to make you sweat and push through the burn And Crack a few jokes along the way!!

I'm a self proclaimed cycling junkie so I have been to more cycling studios in more cities than I can count. The instructors at this location are amazing. Not only are the knowledgeable about the human body (like trainers should be) but every single client matters individually to them. They want you to succeed and be healthy on your terms.

If you're a fan of SoulCycle or CycleBar on the mainland, BodyCycle is a great spot for a rhythm ride in Kaka'ako! Both Kashmira and Troy are awesome instructors and the front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Having Body Balance in the neighborhood has been a great addition to the community!

I’ve been taking spin classes for 3 years and wanted to work out while I’m in Honolulu too. Found this place on Google and decided to try it out (first class at $12!). I bought a second class almost right after because the instructor Kashmira was so good. She gave clear instructions and was super engaged the whole time. Her moves weren’t too complicated but the overall choreography/flow of the class made it a great workout. I was able to keep up and ride to the beat throughout the class while still found it a challenge (in a good way). Her playlist was literally a list of my most-played songs 😂Mostly 90s, 00s Hiphop, some R&B/New Jack Swing. Too bad I’m only here on vacation!

One of my favorite ways of moving my body is rhythm riding cycling! BodyBalance is the only studio on Oahu that has these classes and the instructors and other riders are awesome! It’s a party on a bike and the best cardio I have done that has yielded the results I wanted. They also offer a variety of Pilates, Barre, and strength training workouts as well to keep things mixed up! I highly recommend this studio if you are looking for a great sweat session that changes you physically and mentally for the better along with instructors and staff who motivate you along the way!

Great studio for spin class! I discovered this place while in town for the week and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff was user friendly, helpful and made me feel right at home. I high recommend checking this out for an awesome workout.

Amazing workout studio! All the instructors here are fantastic. Tiana’s FITBarre classes are hands down the best. Love that they offer a variety of classes so you can mix up the routine. Parking is a little tight depending on the time but there are plenty of lots in a short walking distance that it isn’t an issue.

Best place to workout. I was loving this place the first time I visited. Environment are nice and clean. People and instructor are so friendly. Class size are perfect so instructors would pay attention to individual and make correction. All classes would do warm up at the beginning of the class and a nice and relax cool down and stretch at the end. Also they have so many variety of classes : Barre, Yoga, Pilates , Cycling etc. They also provide coffee , water, snacks, and wet / dry towel free of charge. I would definitely recommend this studio!!!
