Rachel Ho is the best yoga instructor! She’s super motivating, positive energy, and kind. Love her choice of music. She remembers you too and gives encouragement during the class. Thank you Rachel for all that you do! Keep shining girlie!

Fantastic location in the ward village area, close to Whole Foods, European waxing center, and much more. I have taken many classes at the Kahala location and thought I’d give this location a go.
I took a C2 class with Rachel Ho which was very good: a comfortable environment, clean studio, and a nice steady flow.
The reason for not giving it a 5 star is because the bathroom smells like stinky feet. It’s really bad.
I also wish that C 3 was offered more at both their Ward and Kahala locations but I guess they just don’t have the clientele for it. When I extend some of my poses, instructors don’t seem to mind. Thank you.

All the classes that I have taken so far at the Ward CorePower Yoga studio have been awesome. After one week I feel significantly stronger, more flexible, and in a better mood. Definitely the goto heath club to get into shape. The teachers and staff are kind and put out positive vibes. Such a great place, bring a friend and share the love 🧘♀️💪🤙

At 6:30 p.m. Monday in Honolulu's Ward Village, CorePower Yoga's reception buzzes like a luxury boutique. Young professionals clutch $200 yoga mats while browsing Spiritual Gangster sports bras arranged like lingerie—T-back designs in coral gradients, long-line cuts in sage, V-necks doubling as Instagram crop tops.
This is where Hawaii's affluent wellness seekers gather, and CorePower has mastered transforming ancient yoga into modern lifestyle theater.
The numbers tell everything: $35 drop-in classes (Hawaii's highest) attract Honolulu's 25-35 demographic earning $95,000+. The $199 monthly unlimited converts customers after 5.7 visits, while equipment rentals generate 18% additional revenue per transaction.
"The sports bra selection beats most department stores," says Sarah Chen, browsing Beyond Yoga's "buttery-soft" collection where strappy-back designs retail for $78. "It's functional fashion—I need support for heated sculpt but want to look good in that mirror wall."
That floor-to-ceiling mirror wall represents CorePower's spatial psychology mastery. Biophilic design elevates moods while geometric facades signal credibility to Ward Village's tech workers.
Yet tensions simmer beneath polish. Founded by Trevor Tice after a climbing accident led him to yoga's healing power, CorePower became America's largest chain under private equity. Former employees cite instructor compensation issues despite positive location reviews.
Fashion isn't vanity—it's strategy. Activewear curation targets "conscious luxury" consumers seeking performance and status. High-waisted leggings retail alongside Sanskrit messaging about "living your power," creating tribal identification where attire validates membership.
"There's definitely a uniform," admits member Jake Martinez. "But it comes with premium pricing territory."
For visitors, $35 positions yoga as luxury vacation experience. For locals, it's lifestyle investment. Heated rooms, premium showers, and Ward Village integration create "convenience monetization."
Sanskrit principle "Asteya" (non-stealing) on signage transforms liability into spiritual teaching. Lost items become Friday donations, converting operational challenges into karma marketing.
As class begins, thirty practitioners in coordinated activewear costing more than gym memberships elsewhere move through heated flow. The instructor—earning near minimum wage despite credentials—guides movements blurring fitness, fashion show, and spiritual practice.
CorePower succeeds recognizing modern wellness consumers don't just want yoga—they want identity curation. Where sports bras speak louder than downward dogs, the real product isn't flexibility.
It's belonging to Hawaii's most photogenic spiritual community, one $35 class at a time.

Great class, great instruction BUT the volume is cranked up SO LOUD that my ears are still hurting afterwards. There is no reason to use a microphone on top of loud rap and dance music at 5:30 in the morning. Felt like I was at a concert, forced to sit too close to the speakers. I really encourage the franchise to consider using a decibel meter to help gauge how loud is too loud & help prevent hearing damage of their patrons. This is yoga, not Coachella.

The studio was easy to find, and the 9 a.m. class was packed with great energy from both the coach and the group — I felt very welcomed! The only downside was the bathroom, which had an unpleasant smell.

Make sure you go to Gios classes, highly enthusiastic and motivating person! Be ready to sweat and make sure to bring a water bottle. High intensity yoga in a HEATED studio. Really fun person and great instructor, always leave with an amazing workout.

The class descriptions and intensities stated online don’t match the actual in-person experience. A lot of the C2 classes should be classified as C1. It’s a real hit or miss here.

This yoga studio is impossible to cancel- they will keep charging you month after month even after you have email confirmation you have cancelled- and then finally when I got a refund back in March, 2023- in May, they turned the membership back on without permission and have been charging me for 10 months straight! Do not let this company have your credit card! They are awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE!!! they have a terrible cancellation policy. Even when you jump through their hoops they do not cancel, with out repeated attempts. Then after cancelled, they turn your membership back on again and make you go through all over.

I was just charged for a membership when I haven’t been there for over a year. I tried to call and get it resolved and they said it was because it was frozen and I didn’t cancel it for a year but never once knew about that. I also don’t live in Hawaii and never have and they are saying that’s my home club. This is ridiculous. They are not helping me get the charge resolved. Absolutely unacceptable and they are money hungry. Watch your accounts everyone they are trying to get everyone’s money.

It was pretty average. Went to CP1 at 8pm. The studio (floors/bathroom) were pretty dirty and it smelled like wet dog throughout the studio. Somewhat expected as this studio is hot yoga so there’s tons of sweaty traffic but I was surprised by the absurdly dirty carpet. They have full showers and that’s a plus for people working out before work or class. Definitely have been to better local studios. Perhaps other locations are cleaner! :)
UPDATE:
Went to the 3:45 class and studio smelled and appeared much cleaner. I recommend going earlier. I attended Sculpt with instructor Maka and it was amazing. She redeemed the other 2 stars for me and I will be returning. Thank you!

BE AWARE they have updated their policy recently .
- The customer MUST notify them 30 days in advance to cancel the membership, which make us pretty annoying.
- The customer must pay $15 if you are not attend the class.
- If you want to pause the membership due to ANY KIND OF personal reason, you also have to pay $15.
They are making extra money for the member's personal unexpected reasons. All of these are in the membership terms and condition you will bind. BE AWARE.

I went in to ask about the free week membership just now and the lady at the check in counter was pretty snarky for someone inquiring about getting a membership. Left with barely any no information about the place and bad vibe. I hate stuck up yoga studios, it’s like your missing all the point of it and just commoditizing through being ‘it’

This studio is great! I am so glad Corepower has implemented a reservation system. I don't think we should get rid of that. Before the reservation system, you would have to get to the studio an hour before some classes just to get a spot. Please keep the reservation system!!

I’ve been attending classes regularly at CorePowerYoga for the past month and for the most part, I was impressed with the quality of the flows / instructors, quality of the rooms and the vibe/culture of the place. The abundance and variety of classes won’t leave you bored or given the generous $20 first month promo, everyone should get it a shot. Even at the standard rate I think it’s worth the $ to invest in yourself and joining the community.
FWIW I’m not the typical clientele (my focus is powerlifting and MMA) but i felt welcomed at every session and felt the classes were equally challenging, restorative and balanced. I’m glad I began incorporating the practice as part of my daily routine as it’s been instrumental to my mental health and recovery from a lower back injury.
Encourage everyone to try it out if they haven’t or pick back up their practice. It’s always worth investing in your health!

Very friendly welcoming instructors and environment even your first visit. Most of people are very friendly and you can meet some new workout friends here !! :) Main thing that I got healthier than before. My heart is strong now and I can breath better after couple months of yoga at here after heart procedure last December. So I am telling you that if you just show up you will get healthier , stronger and torn your body at same time :) Also There are many different levels and classes that you can choose either come at 6am or 8pm!! There is shower if you don’t want to go back home or work with sweat :) Parking is pretty convenient around here. Overall highly recommend it

First, I must say that I'm VERY new to Yoga. I went for my 2nd and 3rd time ever this week during the free trial I received. To be honest, I've always been a little bit intimidated by going to a yoga studio for all the classic reasons people fear starting anything new. All that said, I felt very comfortable from the moment I stepped into the studio. All around good vibes from everyone in the building. Mike, who teaches HPF on Wednesday night, was a very chill guy who made me feel good about my inabilities to do all the things right. I loved that he kept reinforcing the fact that this is MY journey and that I should focus only on myself. He even stated not to look into the mirrors or at others around me.At any rate, I'd recommend this place for anyone who's considering trying yoga for the first time or even a seasoned vet. Lastly, I should mention that the facilities are top notch. Everything is super clean.

What can I say about CorePower Yoga? It has been a life changing experience for me. I am a disabled veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and I am sad to say that the experience there has left a dent in my mental well-being. It has been a struggle. Then I discovered CorePower Yoga. My wife actually forced me to go. I went there, at first grudgingly, but later I wanted to go there on my own. I am pretty sure I am addicted by now. I can’t imagine my life without CorePower Yoga. My favorite time to go is the 8:45 pm class. Our instructors, Yanira, Aaron, Katie, Cindy, and Uliana are totally awesome. Their classes are wildly popular, and are always full, yet I always feel that I am not just another body to fill the classroom; I feel the individual connection with my instructor. My evening Yoga classes have allowed me to quiet down my mind before going to bed. I sleep better. My body is now able to do things I never imagined it would be able to do. My balance improved. Yet I have ways to go. I am always eagerly awaiting my favorite time of the day, when the kids are in bed, and I grab my mat to have some real “me time” at CorePower Yoga at the Ward studio.
My only regret is that there isn’t a CorePower Yoga studio in Mililani.

Love the hard core yoga, but it doesn't make up for the price you pay ... monetarily and environment. First of all, this place is very expensive, so you would think they would make up for it with the benefits of being a member. But ... The staff and customers are rude! If you get locked out of the studio to run to your car and get your yoga mat, they will look at you and walk away when you knock to get back in. If you leave something behind, don't expect someone to turn it in. Left a (personalized) hydroflask there and came back the next day and it was gone! There was no trace of it and they said it was not in the lost and found. Thieves! (Don't know if it was a staff or a customer.... either way .. it doesn't matter because it's the environment your subjecting yourself to.... gotta watch your back at all times... no aloha!) Classes at times are overfull, so if you drive from another area of the island you just waste your time and gas and your membership money. And lastly, staff don't accept responsibility or apologize for rude behavior.

I just started taking classes at Ward and I'm really happy with the place and team! The classes I've been attending have been led by Alex and Angela, both are great instructors. The studio is small and cozy with two rooms and back to back classes. I'm happy they offer some classes that start after 8:00 pm because I usually work late. They offer showers and even have small shop with clothes and equipment for sale. I recommend you take advantage of their one week free trial and see how CorePower Yoga can benefit you.

I was a black tag member for 6 months and completed teacher training. The teacher training follows a corporate model with very little flexibility, and they encourage you to take the extensions classes for an additional cost. The evening and weekend classes are overcrowded so it's very difficult to relax. I found members at the Ward location to be quite rude. They would cut in line and try to save spaces for other people. It's also overpriced.

I 100% recommend that everyone try out CorePower Yoga at least once. They offer a free week for new members. It's not your typical calm yoga, so not for everyone.... Unless you're in amazing shape it will likely kick your butt. (Especially sculpt) It's worth the pain for the reward of the feeling and energy it brings. The difficulty of CP2 classes varies by instructor and time/date... Today's CP2 6am taught by a new instructor, Micole who just moved here from SF was INTENSE. Every Thursday at 12:30, the CP2 class taught by Christina I believe, really has a focus on perfection positions, and I felt was more relaxed (but still kicked my butt). No matter what class you choose, I'll bet you leave craving more! I am in better shape than I have ever been, and that's all thanks to CorePower!
