I had the absolutely unfortunate experience of working with one of the trainers, who promised she would assist with nutrition etc
She also stated she would call, when she did not.
I would Not recommend this business.
The passive aggressive way of dealing with me personally I found disrespectful and insulting. And I’m questioning waa this a racial issue also?
I came into their bootcamp through a free marketing programme they were offering. I was disrespected when I questioned why I wasn’t contacted.
And was told by the coach. To be clear I joined a free program, I asked for the justification and that was the response.
Her demeanor was offensive and disgraceful and I would Never put my Dollar with them.

Egan’s Bootcamp in Kailua is a terrific gym for all ages, sizes, and fitness levels. When starting (or trying to get back on track) with a workout, it can be very scary or at least uncomfortable. The staff and members at Egan’s are very warm and welcoming.
The workouts are varied and fast paced. They push you to your own personal limits since each exercise can be modified for all. As a working mother with two boys, time is extremely precious, so the 30 minute workouts are perfect for my schedule. I can get up, get in a workout, get home, get the kids ready for school and get on the road to work. These morning workouts make a huge difference in my day - my energy level and my mood are improved (no one wants to work with a grumpy, tired co-worker!)
I’ve been at the Kailua gym for over 3 years and I still love it! People I see on the mat every morning have become friends and my support. Whether you’re looking for weight loss, more energy, a better shape or to be stronger, you need to be in an environment that can help you sustain this new lifestyle. Egan’s Bootcamp has done that for me!

Over 4 years ago I was scrolling through my FB feed and an ad for Egan’s 6-week transformation popped up. I saw it and was intrigued. It was December and I thought, why not join as my NY’s resolution? Why not do something for me for once? So I did.
Mind you I’ve always been athletic, growing up playing sports. As an adult I remained active - jogging, hiking, joining a gym, etc. Yet for some reason, as I got older and had my two daughters, the extra weight, baby fat, whatever you want to call it, wouldn’t come off. So here I was frustrated and struggling with my appearance and confidence.
I was nervous. Egan’s was structured a bit different than what I was traditionally used to and I hadn’t been a part of a class in a long time.
Like others I’d join gym after gym but recently my workouts were solo (jogging and hiking alone) and at the gym, I worked out by myself, jogging on a treadmill or doing free weights.
To say the least, I was out of my current comfort zone and a tad bit nervous going in. I mean who wouldn’t be right?! But I did.
Now 4 years later I’ve never looked back. I lost 20 lbs., about 5% body fat and have met a tribe of people I call friends. I am addicted.
The classes are structured for only 30 minutes and throughout the day so working people can also take advantage of them. One of the things that I like is you are in and out. No dawdling at the gym. At first I was skeptical but not anymore. It works!
At Bootcamp, the coaches, the staff and the classmates motivate, they support and they push you to become the best you, that you can be. It’s inspiring to see everyone on different physical and health journeys and to support them as well.
I attend the Kailua location and absolutely LOVE everyone there. The coaches are cool, fun, supportive and most of all non-judgemental.
The music gets you moving and the daily workouts change up enough that you actually feel that your body is getting a great workout. You leave refreshed, satisfied and with a sense of accomplishment.
Sure I’ve had my ups and downs with my weight since joining but it’s remained fairly consistent.
These past years I’ve learned that I can be committed to my health...that I can lose the weight AND keep it off...I can make healthier lifestyle choices...I can workout and stretch myself out of my comfort zone but also within the confines of my own limitations and strengths...and I can be a part of something bigger than myself along with liked-minded people who only want the best for me.
For that I am grateful. And for that and many other reasons I LOVE Egan’s Bootcamp.

Ending of 2017, I was overweight, depressed and heartbroken when one day I came across the New Years challenges ad in 2018 on Facebook. I entered to win a free challenge. Although I wasn’t chosen something told me to just do it! So still signed up and when I tell you it changed my life IT REALLY DID. Mentally and physically I began to love myself again! With the help of all the coaches and staff, I was able to lose 30lbs in 3 month! It is possible, but you have to be willing to work for it! As a new mom of an infant I highly recommend Egans, they are family oriented and have a kids area to keep the keikis occupied while you get your fitness on! I especially like that it’s a class setting. As a former collegiate volleyball athlete I’m used to working out in a group setting and need to look over to my neighbor who is pushing themselves to their limits to mentally be able to push myself also. If you have the opportunity to try out a class I highly recommend it! BE RELENTLESS!

I’ve been with Egan’s Kailua for about 5-6 months and I’ve enjoyed every single class! Don’t get me wrong, the workouts hit you in a good spot and make you glisten with a bucket of sweat! I appreciate the coaches and the other staff- they’re always friendly and pushing to keep going and not quitting! One tiny suggestion that would definitely push for a 5 out of 5 star rating is if they had another late after class time slot. Some days I’m done with work at 530 and would wanna get a class in.

30 minutes in and out, encouraging staff, friendly greeting upon entry (kind of like Cheers... ), great ventilation, and variation of workouts with personable coaches are what keeps me coming back. And the coffee! Because at 4:25 in the morning a little cup of joe goes a long way! It used to be the least part of my day I looked forward to but after 8 months of consistent attendance I found myself at the Gucci store asking for a new hole to be punched in my belt. More energy, more interest in what goes into my body, meal prepping, more water and less aches and pains has been my story. Don’t get me wrong- it’s still the hardest 30 minutes of the day but I truly believe it has turned out to be the best personal decision I have made in a long time.

I joined EGAN’s Bootcamp on the recommendation of a friend. The coaches at the gymn are very high energy, but very supportive! I joined during a challenge, which was the motivation I needed. My coach, Jackie Marfil, helped me with my food plan. This had been a BIG obstacle for me.
The hours are awesome starting @ 4AM. The classes are only 30 minutes, but they are filled with exercises that work all of the muscle groups, as well as get your heart pumping!

4: 00 in the morning! The best part are the “sweaty selfies” taken at the end of class then posted to the Facebook page!

Never thought that I would join a gym at 72! It is just what I need to trim down and tone up this body. I can’t stop getting older but I can make sure that I stay strong. Beyond the positive atmosphere, their workouts are wonderful! Everyday is different which keeps me out of a boredom induced rut. Each coach helps you with form should you need it or modifications if the particular exercise isn’t for you just yet due to fitness level or injuries. Egan’s is truly for all levels, all ages!
Last, but certainly not least, these workouts fit into anyone’s hectic lifestyle! They’re offered at all sorts of hours throughout the day, they’re only 30 minutes long, AND they have a little area for your kids to hangout and watch / do crafts / read should you need it. There are NO excuses for not being able to make Egan’s fit into your life 💪🏻

Egan's Fit Body Bootcamp has changed my life! I've been working up a sweat 4 - 5 times a week for over three years now, and it's the best part of my day. There are many classes offered daily, starting in the wee hours, but my faves are right after work at 5:15 or 6 pm -- it just fits my schedule perfectly, and a great way to work out any stress and end the day with joy. There are wonderful instructors, three locations (four, if you count the free Saturday morning beach workout at Magic Island!), and hundreds of enthusiastic fellow bootcampers! In just 1/2 hour you can get the best workout of your life IMHO -- the classes vary daily, from HIIT (high intensity interval training) to Tabatas (20 sec highest intensity + 10 sec rest x 8 rounds, several times), to MMA style, stations, sometimes without equipment, just your body weight, or with equipment such as punching bags, shields, slam balls, heavy bags, TRX cables, big rubberbands, and so on. IT'S ALL GOOD!! and the varied routines engage one's interest and keep the body from getting complacent. How has Bootcamp changed my life? I've lost weight and inches and gained confidence and fitness -- in short, I'm in the best shape of my life and it just keeps getting better.

5 years I've been with Egan and his amazing crew. It's more than a gym, it's a family. The workouts are intense but can be modified as needed so EVERY fitness level can come and get stronger and better and not be intimidated. The trainers and staff are always willing to help, lend an ear or offer support and information. All I can say to anyone looking to try a workout is "get in here. Just try it." After many failed attempts, it was hard to come to terms that I couldn't lose weight. At 28, I was diagnosed with PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. My blood work was out of control!!! BP and cholesterol was high, A1C showed I was borderline diabetic and I had a fatty liver. My PCP said I needed to lose weight if I want to live and have kids one day. I joined 3 gyms and hired personal trainers at each location, spent THOUSANDS of dollars and all failed. I gave up and was depressed. Until one night after eating at a nearby restaurant, my boyfriend and I discovered Egan's fit body boot camp in Aiea. I researched online, inquired and scheduled my first class. At first I was skeptical but I told myself to give it a shot. The first class was difficult and interesting at the same time. I found myself more intrigued every day I attended class. Everyday was different you'll never know what to expect until class starts. Days and weeks gone by and I noticed that I was getting stronger, faster and less out of breath. The clothes were literally falling off of me. I've been going to boot camp for over a little over five months and lost over 50 pounds!!!!! My blood work is ALL normal and I can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my life. I have to sincerely thank each and every trainer/ staff at Egan's fit body boot camp in Aiea. They motivated and pushed me out of my comfort zone at each class. They are willing to answer any questions or issues I had and boy did I have a lot especially during the diet meal plans!!
So what makes Egan's Fitbody boot camp different than any other gym? Well, You're not just a member at some fancy fitness center. At boot camp the staff takes the time to know you, you're an actual person! They help you transform into a warrior! Lol. The fellow warriors who are also sweating and pushing it to their limits become friends/ family as opposed to a gym were everyone is a stranger. Since the workouts are structured into scheduled classes you'll be more inclined to actually go to a class than just going to the gym. No fitness background? No problem! The trainers will actually help you with your form or if you're having a difficult time. That would never happen at the gym! There are weekly weigh ins to carefully monitor your weight and body fat percentage. Not to mention it is ONLY 30 minutes! You'll never need to sacrifice hours at the gym! So, if you hit a dead end and tried many programs and feel like nothing is working out. I can attest that Egan's Fitbody boot camp really works you won't regret it!

This gym is AWESOME!!! I have changed the way I workout for the best. Its a fun workout and intense enough to get the job done. I go to the Aiea location and the trainers and staff are super nice and motivating everytime you walk in! Everyone is encouraging and is there for the same reasons. I highly recommend this to anyone that is needing a swift kick in the butt to get back in it or to continue what you already have going on.

I've tried other boot camp promos before and found myself quitting after the 1st week. Its now week 4 of the transformation Challenge and I'm still with it. Down 10#'s and 6%BF
What's the difference you ask?...
The coaches/trainers and fellow bootçampers are very supportive. If you are not able to do a specific exercise, they will find a modification and they will encourage you to continue and push just a little harder and a little harder. Before you know it instead of slamming a 10#ball your using a 15#ball.
They help you with healthy eating habits. On the 6-week challenge we get a menu plan complete with recipes and a shopping list. I must say I'll be having one of those breakfast smoothies everday for the rest of my life.
Newsletters/support emails. Yeah, sure you can get those for anyone. But getting them from Egan himself and knowing his back ground, you know he wouldn't just send you "stuff".
Would I recommend Egan's FBB my friends & family? HELL-YEAH!!! You wanna get your healthy self back? This is the place to be.

I've been on many weight loss programs, diets, workouts...BUT Egan's Fit Body Bootcamp works if you work!! I have been the most successful and most consistent on this program! I met some awesome lifetime friends and the Coaches will support you throughout your journey! Everyday is different! Each coach bring their own personality and flavor into their workout!! What began as a whim through a Groupon special has turned into a lifestyle and a family. Heather who is the manager and head trainer brings out the warrior spirit in each of us. She is tough on us because Heather sincerely cares about our well being and brings out that mental and physical perserverance that has, often, been buried deep down in our souls. Coaches John, Gary, Kim, Lynn, and Jason bring their own personalities to differently focused daily workouts; I appreciate and respect them as individuals, each having inspiring stories of their journeys to a healthier lifestyle. They truly are real life role models that lead us every day. Aiea BC also has supportive staff that includes front desk personnel like Sandy who makes us the bestest crafts/treats and our boot camp bouncer Mark who literally is everything and anything to Aiea BC. And last but not least, there are my fellow boot campers who are inspiring and supportive. Older, younger, seasoned, newbie, fit, on your way to be fit, athlete, former athlete, not athletic, local, or from the mainland...we set aside our surface differences because through high fives, fist bumps, booty pats, sighs of pain or relief, "stink eye", random yells, ooooohs, aaaaaahs, "you got this", "anything for 10 seconds", laughs, hugs in class to facebook posts, daily chats, get togethers, dining, hikes, and fundraisers out of class, we are one big family of individuals who each understand the struggle and successes of the boot camp journey. Moreover, the lessons I take from boot camp translates to life lessons in other pillars of my life. I, like many others, have found an incredible support system of good people here at Aiea BC. Eight months later since cashing in on that Groupon special, I am 30+ pounds lighter, physically stronger, mentally fiercer, healthier, happier, and have broadened my circle of friends whom many are now family to me. All of these gains from what is a challenging 30 minutes out of your day but well worth your time and money. And for me and many others, the journey of improvement and progress continues....

It's been a long journey to get to where I am. Been active for the better part of my life, but once I hit my 40s. I had to find something different, and that I can enjoy doing long term. So I was "surfing" the net and came across a link that took me to Egan's Bootcamp.
I liked that there was always a different kind of exercise each day and you only needed 30 mins a day. That's it! I was hooked! MMA days are absolutely my favorite day of the week.
Taught me how to eat clean, taught me discipline, not only in the gym, but different aspects of my life and gained a whole new "bootcamp" family. Staff is awesome, trainers are beast but never short of sincere encouragement. They truly want you to succeed for that I thank you truly.
The rest of the boot campers are nothing short of amazing and know what you are going through and don't mind sharing their journey with you. It's better to do life with friends first thing in the morning. 5:25 am Aiea class is awesome! :-)

I've been coming to Egan's Training Center in Kailua on and off for years now but I made a commitment in December to purchase a membership and stick with it. I am a fairly active person, running, hiking, paddling, etc but I needed a kick in the butt to help me get ready for paddling season, and to refine my eating habits. Since following Egan's meal plan In the last month alone I have dropped 6 pounds, down to 22% body fat and have reduced cravings for processed foods and learned more efficient and healthy ways to fuel my body! Egan's Fit Body Bootcamp in Aiea is just the absolute best!!! I gave birth to baby #2 on Thanksgiving of 2015 and really wanted to get rid of pesky baby weight that I gained so I joined the New Year's Transformation challenge in January 2016. In just those 6 weeks alone I lost 28 pounds and 4 inches off of my waist--that's already put me back to under 200 pounds (*I hadn't weighed that much since 2011!). I am so grateful for this training center, the coaches and trainers are amazing, and trust me when I say that you are not alone in trying to achieve your goals on and off the mat. The support is so great, and so are the people! Never ever leaving Egan's!

I never thought I'd ever join a gym, but after seeing Egan's FBB ad on Facebook and reading all the reviews and success stories, I just knew I had to try it. I was a bit nervous on the first day, but all the trainers and fellow boot-campers are really friendly and super supportive so you don't have to worry about feeling intimidated or awkward. Everyone encourages each other to keep going, and at the end of the 30-minute sessions we all come out feeling so energized and accomplished.
I love that the sessions are short and the exercises they have us do works your entire body. Muscles you never knew existed will hurt at first, but over time you'll get stronger and your body will get used to it. Diet and choosing healthier options is a key factor in reaching your weight loss goal, but the trainers can also help you in that department too.

I think bootcamp is a very welcoming place to work out or get fit. Whenever you're new to bootcamp the staff gives a warm welcome and you don't feel uncomfortable or lonely. You feel part of the pack! The trainers and staff will help you reach your goals and give really good advice and tips to stay healthy, and stay fit. During children's bootcamp they not only workout and get you moving but they have fun. During children's bootcamp if you're new they welcome you and encourage you to do your best. Also during adult class you don't have to compare yourself with others and you don't have to race anyone, you can go at your own pace. And most important they have FUN during your workout!!!!

I started working out at ETC at the end of 2015. It had been years since I'd been on any kind of regular exercise routine and I was apprehensive about starting out again.
I was hooked after my first workout. The staff is friendly and will show you how to properly do the exercises. The other clients are also great and will motivate you during the workout. It's great to come in, do 30 minutes of HIT and then be done for the day! I go to the Honolulu location and the only challenge is parking during the evening classes. The lot gets full but there is street parking as well as affordable parking at Pucks Alley.
We work out barefoot which I LOVE! I love MMA Thursday and Kickboxing Friday! About 4 months after that first day I'm working out everyday and having a great time! I even participated in their transformation challenge and lost over 11 lbs in 6 weeks! Shoutout to Pua who has been such a great coach to me!
If you're interested in trying... Lookout for those groupons then come on down! You'll have a blast!

I've been coming to Egan's since December. I first came just to motivate my mom to support her fitness journey; however, I fell in LOVE after the first 21 days. Four months later, I have lost a total of 5% body fat.
From Egan's boot camp I've gained confidence, energy, and motivation to be healthier. I go to the Kailua location and I love the positive energy that the coaches and other boot campers exude.
I highly recommend trying Egan's boot camp if you want a fun, fast, and effective workout that targets your whole entire body. Push yourself to try Egan's for a month and you'll soon realize that you can't live without it!

Joining bootcamp has been the best thing that I could have done for myself. I've joined regular gym's before only to pay for my membership and never use it. After that I realized that for me to go I need variety in my workout and someone to push me to do it. That's exactly what bootcamp does for me, you never know what your workout is going to be like. The coaches are amazing and encourage you to always push yourself to get stronger. In less than a year I've noticed a difference in the way I feel and look. It's not all about loosing weight, it's about pushing yourself to the limit and feeling good about what you can accomplish in 30 min. It's never a easy workout but taking the easy way out of things will never get you anywhere.

I began my journey with Egan's Fit Body Bootcamp in August 2011 and what an exhilarating ride it's been. I've been through three locations in Kailua and several trainers but the core and heart of EFBB remains the same: a commitment to total fitness and personal motivation. When the alarm goes off at 4:50 it is never with dread but with anticipation for a great start to the day because I know I'll be working out in 40 minutes with people who are part of my ohana. At EFBB I am challenged at my own level and I'm motivated by awesome Corrie and the other trainers as well as my buddies whom we fondly call "the Geriatric Crew" because we're the oldest in room. 30 minutes each morning keeps me feeling and looking fit and the best kickoff for the day. Throughout the year we are not only morning workout rats but there are social activities like an annual Beach Challenge among the locations, and other fun activities to keep us connected. I've never been with any fitness activity for five years and, at nearly 60 years old, I see no reason to stop. My goal was to enter my retirement years being healthy and fit and EFBB is prominent in my quest.

I did a Transformation Challenge put on by Egans, with a personal coach to help me with eating correctly and motivating me to get to class more often, I lost 5.5% body fat! In a month that's radical change. If that's what you're looking for you've found it! I love Egan's! This is the only workout that gives me more energy. I have been a member for a while & I may be tired going into the workout, but when I leave I am actually energized! I'm addicted! I've tried out a bunch of different indoor and outdoor bootcamps, yoga studios, fitness centers, and workout videos, and I LOVE this place best, hands down!
Unlike other Bootcamp groups, they offer way more classes throughout the day, majority in the morning and two in the early evening, allowing you to work out before and/or after work.
Trainers pack in as much as they can in each 30 minute class, what's been dubbed as HIIT(high intensity interval training) so you get the most bang for your buck. Each day and each trainer brings a different style of workout: cardio, strength, MMA, stretch, using your own body weight or equipment. I never get bored with a routine because the format is constantly changing.
But honestly, it's the sense of community that got me hooked. With the high fives, encouraging cheers and communication through social media, no one gets left behind, they keep you motivated and accountable!

I love bootcamp! I've been a member since June 2012 and although it's pricey, it's my gift to myself. I've never gone to a gym as consistently as I have with Egan's. The camaraderie of the members and the efficiency of the workouts keep me coming back for more. Life is busy, but Monday-Friday I'm there at 5am unless I'm out of town or out on doctor's orders. My favorite workout is Thursday's MMA workout (who knew that kicking something with everything you've got could feel so good?!?!), but every workout is fun and effective.

I have been doing HIIT Bootcamp workouts with Egan Inoue for 5 years, the longest I have ever stayed with any form of excersise except dance. There are any number of gyms and studios that I could go to for fitness, weight loss, etc. So why Egan Inoue's hawaiifitcamp?.
· Egan and his wife, Marcia, run their business like a grassroots community organization. All the clients are treated as extended family and community neighbors and encouraged to be engaged, whether it be the continuous 6-week fitness challenges or the charity of the month (100% donated to local charities).
· Everyone works at their own level and is pushed to work to the top of their potential to the tune of Egan's inspirational anecdotes, energetic and respectful trainers, and the shared laughter and grunts from excersising peers. Friendships are forged across lines of age and gender.
· Without even realizing it, you look in the mirror one day and you see beautiful shoulder definition, your clothes fit better, doing 20 burpees seems like a rest period and you look forward to connecting with your 'family' every day. Seamless, organic, and effective.

They say for weight loss it takes 4 weeks for you to notice a change, 8 weeks for your friends to notice, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice a change. It’s been almost 8 weeks since I’ve started attending Egan’s Fit body Bootcamp in Aiea and boy are my friends are starting to notice! I have them asking me what I am doing and I proudly say that I go to Egan’s! I haven’t felt this energized in a long time and my husband and daughter benefit from this because now they are getting a better me.
Are the workouts hard? Yes, the workouts are an intense 30 minutes but you leave feeling like a champ. Everyone works out barefoot and gym is very clean. They start with some warm up exercises then demonstrate the exercises you will be doing. Depending on the day you may work on stations, rotating through the different stations or workout in a small group. A lot of body weight exercises: pushups, lunges, squats, burpees, froggers, etc. Everyone is very encouraging and help to push you. Staff and coaches are awesome and really want to help you achieve your goals. They helped to change my eating habit and I happily say “I’m not on a diet, it’s a lifestyle change.” I still eat food that are yummy and every once in a while I can say I treat myself without feeling bad. (None of that tuna, broccoli, and rice cakes diet here lol)
If you are still reading my review trying to make that decision on whether or not you should start, let me just say that when you start it is a decision you won’t regret. You are worth it! Last piece of advice, never compare yourself to others in the class. Go at your own pace and do modifications when needed. But never stop pushing yourself!
