My husband booked an adult one on one golf lesson for me. I got the confirmation email that said 10am with coach Chris, and nothing else. No other details or instructions. I get there 10 minutes early and went to the main building with the check in and shop. They said they don’t know anyone named Chris but go to the driving range for IPGA lessons. So I walk over to the driving range. No one there. I called the number listed on the email. It goes to a voicemail. I waited until 15 minutes after my appointment time and no one showed up or called me back. Very disappointed. This looked like a legit operation from the website and reviews, but they are obviously either disorganized or not serious.

Coach Oliver fixed my ball striking issue about 5 min into the lesson. He didn't try to change my swing , just tweaked couple of
issues which led to amazing results! Highly recommended Coach !

My first time getting lessons from Coach Oliver. As a new player I have to say I left there with more knowledge, on what to work on and having a better swing immediately, than I got from any video or my golf buddies. Day 1 my short game improved dramatically with the lessons. The one on one lessons were directed at my weak areas and strengths so I knew exactly where I needed to put in work for improvement. Coach Oliver was patient and and didn't waste time, the hour long lessons were efficient and definitely worth while!

Bottom line and up front: Previous distances 9 Iron 40-60yds, Driver 90-120yds.... Now 9 Iron 100-140yds Driver 210-260yrds with accuracy to match!

Coach Oliver has all the tools and qualities of the golf instructor you need. He is patient, kind, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, adaptable, and intuitive! His teaching methods are unmatched with the ability to win the attention and focus of young children, don't take it from me, ask his adorable little protege daughter.

Not only do I now have the correct technique for a great swing to continue to build on but I also have the knowledge of what causes trajectory paths and how to manipulate them or what to correct. I thrive on technical information and Oliver was overflowing with it and more than happy to share and break it down with examples, something that resonates as invaluable to me and like-minded learners.

The facility is positioned on the beautiful and best maintained course I've played on the island, Hawaiian Prince. There is a separate area for instruction that is comfortable and private, next to the driving range, with its own putting green and bunker to accommodate a full range of training.

I was able to complete five one hour sessions and have already seen dramatic improvement. I know for a fact I am only turning the first few pages in the vast encyclopedia of golf Oliver can share, I am confident that even those shooting under 80 can learn and improve with him! I WILL be returning for more lessons and hope you get a chance to learn from him as well.

IPGA (Island Pacific Golf Academy) is a superior instruction program that is great with both kids and adults. Very family friendly and adults will appreciate the professionalism of the instructors. IPGA is at the 27 hole golf resort club, Hawaii Prince Golf Club. Single or group instruction is available.

My wife and I are just starting to learn golf, and Coach Oliver provided us with a solid foundation in a very short amount of time. He presented difficult concepts very simply, making the sport much more approachable for new comers. He's able to spot problems very quickly and gave my wife and I a handful of drills to practice so we don't develop bad habits. Coach Oliver highly exceeded our expectations for a single lesson; our only regret is not being able to get more lessons with him as we were just visiting Hawaii.

Only had one lesson so far with Oliver but he knows what he’s doing. Ex. He changed 2 simple things about my swing and had my shots significantly straighter and over 15 yards further with just my 8 iron. Now obviously results will vary depending on the person but I am amazed. Update to follow after lessons are complete.

After many years of self help and watching DIY golf videos, I decided to take lessons to elevate my skill. With 1:1 lessons with Oliver, I was able to address aspects of my game ranging from swing technique, driving, chipping and putting using Oliver's drills and techniques. Overall the lessons exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend.
