Good selection of equipment for being a hotel gym, but it is nice to grab coffee or a post workout protein from the resort on your way out.
You do have to pay for parking, but itβs only $1/hr

Absolutely best gym to visit while on vacation! Cheapest price and Absolutely no crowd like other expensive gyms in area. Trust me I've been bodybuilding for over 20 years and this gym has definitely enough equipment and dumbbells to get it in while on vacation. Don't go spending fortune on other over priced, crowded gyms in the area!

Gym closes way too early and just has terible hours. Not a bad gym for a hotel, but paying every day for an okay gym when the hotel room is $300 a night I feel like I'm getting taken advantage of.

The whole upstairs was being redone but paid full price. Also the sauna was out of order. The bathroom especially the shower area was not clean and the place is in major need of a remodel. Not what you would expect at a nice resort. Also.. I called a few times prior for more info and they kept changing their prices. And when I went in person.. the price doubled. If you need a workout.. it will do but don't expect much.

Decent gym with variety of equipment. The guy working there is cool and we had a good chat with him while working out. Would recommend if you're on vacation and want to get a quick workout in for a day.
Its 15$ per persin for the day pass so it is a little expensive but there's not too many options around here.

I would give it higher rating but is dirty and old. But so am I. Much of the equipment could look better if someone cleaned and waxed it. I don't go to a gym for atmosphere. The Manager is very helpful and friendly... like family.

I called a month before my trip to see what I needed in order to workout during my stay at the resort. I was told I would be okay with a negative test. Once I got to the gym they wouldnβt even let me in with a negative covid test. Vax only. Very poor communication.

The gym doesnβt actually open until 2:00 pm. You have to have a reservation because there cannot be more than 2 people in at a time. They should mention this on their website and on their voicemail greeting.

$36 for a 1 week visitor pass, cheapest gym I've found in Lahaina. Maybe not for hardcore body builders since dumbells only go up to 70lbs, but they have like 7-8 cardio equipment, and over a dozen machine weights for upper and lower body. Small space but it's clean, and provides little towels included. For a hotel/resort gym it's pretty good. Good enough to keep my body tight on my 1 week vacation on Maui. I recommend them.

Over priced and not that much equipment. That said the reason I go is because it's not crowded at all. I get in get my lifting done and I'm out. It's kept pretty clean. It's very small.

I'm not sure what one other reviewer was saying by "burned down".
That is not the case at all.
Kaanapali Massage & Fitness is located inside Aston Kaanapali Shores. You can get a day pass, week pass or month pass. You do not necessarily have to be staying at the Aston Kaanapali Shores. The facility is small two floors and has steppers, ellipticals, bikes, treadmills, dumbbells and weight machines. It is just fine for vacation workouts. No bench press or squat rack. I use this workout facility on every visit and it is an OK replacement for my regular gym while on vacation.

This facility burned down in Sept 2012. I just found out today when I drove down to use the gym as I have in the past. Now I am looking around for another Gym close by.
