I cannot recommend Erik highly enough! I have a demanding schedule and had difficulty finding a trainer who could work with my limited availability. Erik was not only flexible but also incredibly understanding, always finding creative ways to fit workouts into my hectic life. He took the time to understand my goals, lifestyle, injuries/limitations, and tailored a program specifically for my needs, ensuring that every session was challenging yet achievable. He kept me accountable, pushed me out of my comfort zone, worked on my form/technique and somehow kept workouts enjoyable even on days when I was exhausted. I’m 63 years old and had training with Eric for almost 5 months. He thought me the proper and safety workout based on my condition. I weighed 230 lbs before and I weigh 187 lbs now with the help of Eric. I moved to mainland but I will continue all the workout techniques that I have learned from Eric. Facility is well maintained and always kept clean. Has just the equipment you need for your workouts. Private and pretty secluded if you really wanna lock in on your workouts. What I enjoyed about Reform Health & Fitness is, that I came in with 0% knowledge on anything fitness, and after their program felt confident in myself to continue my newly embarked physical journey further. They were patient and more that willing to explain the “whys” that went with the “hows”. What I’ve learned throughout my time with Reform Health & Fitness are lessons that I can realistically apply to my every day routine, and that’s invaluable. I have been going to see Erik for five years. He has seen me through Covid, injuries and illnesses. He has kept working with me to help me bounce back stronger each time.
His workouts are tailored to your individual goals and he doesn't use a one size fits all approach. He always is focused on preventing injuries and has worked with my physical therapist to implement recovery plans. We cover a lot of ground two days a week and he provides weekly plans to workout on the other days as well.
Erik is extremely personable and the sessions fly by quickly. Additionally he is easy to reach and responds quickly. I am glad I found him

Reform Hawaii, a local owned gym in kapolei area, This gym was very useful and convenient for me, overall I had a good time there using the equipment and just working out in general, especially since I was training for a powerlifting meet I was competing in, I needed to use Kilogram weights and it was close to where I lived, also didnt have to worry about any trouble of others or waiting for equipment like at Commercial gyms. Would recommend here overall and give it a try.

The convenient and quiet location, and being able to work out on my own time without waiting 10-15 min for a machine is the reason for my 5 stars. There are also a decent amount of equipment to get a good workout in which is impressive.

I love working out at Reform Hawaii. I think it’s super ideal for private workouts and it’s schedule based which makes it easy for me to plan out my day. The equipment is high quality, the gym is always clean, and maintained, which is always a plus. The gym caters to all types of workouts.
The owner, Erik, is also a trainer. I had a trial session with him and he was very understanding of my fitness level. He helped explained why certain exercises were incorporated into the session which allowed me to understand how they catered to my fitness goals. I definitely recommend this place (especially for those looking for a focused environment)

I trained under Erik at Reform Hawaii for my powerlifting meets. He was able to tend to my weaknesses and needs in order to turn them into my strengths. You can let him know what your schedule looks like and he’ll work around it. As I have mentioned above, his programs are very personable and will consist of what you need or want to work on.
Reform Hawai’i pretty much have everything I needed during my training. It had kilo plates, a squat area, benches, a deadlift platform, free weights, a pull up bar and a turf area to stretch on. The location is also very peaceful. You can choose to workout by yourself or bring friends in with you. The best thing about Reform Hawai’i is that you don’t need to rush or wait on anyone!! You can workout on your own pace! You have an allotted time slot all to yourself.

But, with the 4-week program Erik tailored for me, I was impressed by the results I was able to achieve in a given short amount of time.
