I’ve been going to Yanagida Fitness for many, many years now. My history of chronic tension headaches and chronic shoulder pain is just that…history.
There are modifications to every exercise for every fitness level, for the person just starting out and adding challenges as you progress.
Adding:
You’ll start to feel better before you even get out your vehicle.
Adding: I’ve been continuing to improve my conditioning, balance and flexibility for over 8 years now at Yanagida Studio. I even ran my first 5K in my back half of my 6th decade of being.
There’s never been a dull class with the fellow encouraging and fun gym members and coaches, and with the variety of challenging but doable activities.

A great gym with an even better community. This is the place to go if you want staff who care about your health and are passionate about helping you achieve your goals. They have a large variety of classes for both advanced fitness freaks and people who are just trying to move their body. They also have a great Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program for both kids and adults!

One of the best decisions I have made is to invest in my health. That's right, it is an investment- paying for worthwhile classes, and showing up for myself. Yanagida Studio offers the support, community, and personalized exercises to my skill set. Justin and his team make me feel like family. The studio is very involved in the community and hosts bonding activities. Best of all, they support all other local businesses! Yanagida Studio has options for in person or zoom virtual classes. The session classes are geared towards an overall body workout and each class focuses on a certain body area. You can pick and choose any class that works well with your schedule for one flat weekly rate. You'll experience a starting point and a coach will go over your habits, goals, and start a plan to keep you on the right track. Also, they have jiu jitsu/self defense ;) If you really want to be held accountable, and have a supportive team of coaches and other workout members, this this studio for you.

Attended a Muay Thai class and having no experience in combat sports, I felt apprehensive. However, instructors were great at demonstrating and explaining beginner techniques and made me feel comfortable. Good workout!

I had so much fun here! I haven’t worked out for like 2 years and all the trainers and staff here were welcoming and helpful! This place is definitely beginner friendly! I really enjoyed their fitness portion and learned a lot just in one day. Their Muay Thai class was super fun too! Thank you Alana for inviting me 😊

Just want to say thank you to Jojo, Alana, Allyn, Justin and the rest of the crew for making me feel comfortable as if I was one of their own. Justin and ALL of his team members are so welcoming and make fitness fun! Going to the gym or doing work outs can be intimidating, but here you will be welcomed the moment you step in. Nothing but positivity!
They have various fitness classes to take and are slowly introducing a Muy Thai class. Justin and his team do a great job with introducing basics for first timers like myself and breaks everything down step by step which makes classes enjoyable! You won’t feel lost because they are there to guide you when you need!

Thanks to Allyn, Alana, Jojo, Justin and the crew for making my experience here enojoyable! As a beginner it is overwhelming and scary to enter a new sport especially jiu jitsu. But they made it fun for me where I can just be me and learn new things!

08/04/23 Update: If has been 14 months since my first post and I continue to be challenged and encouraged by the Yanagida Ohana to keep striving toward a healthy lifestyle. I have lost over 50 lbs in the last year and have not had to deprive myself of the foods that I enjoy. The staff and other members help to keep the exercise classes fun and I look forward to going everyday. Just try it out and you won’t be disappointed!
If you are looking for a group of people who are like-minded when it comes to health and fitness Yanagida fitness is the place for you. The coaches are knowledgeable and willing to help you meet your fitness goals. Fellow exercisers also encourage and challenge each other. Everyone knows your name. It truly is a FitFam!

Yanagida Fitness has been a great experience for me. Everyone has such great energy, and the workouts are vigorous but doable. The coaches take note of any pre-existing injuries or aches and pains, and always suggest modifications to ensure you are helping these aches and pains and not hurting them. I highly recommend Yanagida Fitness and the community that they have as a gym.

Best fitness program, these trainers are such an inspiration, They are professional that takes your health issues serious. I have bad knees and ankles and other medical issues. And these trainers modify my exercise so I can still work out. The best part is after joining this gym and working out with them I realize I can live a healthier life. I actually quit smoking. I have smoked cigarettes for many years, I never could quit. But Yanagida fitness help me do it. Life's way too short to just not being healthy. Thank you, Jesus!!! And thank you to Chris Curley for referring me to this gym. One word BLESSING!!!!!!!

With some reluctance I attended my first YSF class in 2016 and am still a very satisfied member. I love the inclusiveness of the gym (no judgement) and everyone’s positive attitude. The trainers will work with you and implement modifications if needed. I would recommend this gym to everyone!

A wonderful option if you like having more guidance in your workouts. They offer group classes, which can also be done via Zoom, and personal training. The classes are tough but doable. There are always modifications offered to customize it to your fitness level. The trainers are knowledgeable, kind, and are motivated to help you succeed in your goals. If you need a but more guidance, they will help you tweak your nutrition so you better achieve what you seek. I joined this gym almost 6 months ago when I moved here for work, and couldn't have been happier with my decision. I needed a gym that would motivate me to work out weekly and this placed has not let me down. There is a family vibe here and I love it. Highly recommend!

I'm so glad I tried this place out! The coaches are all amazing and friendly. The classes are made to accommodate every fitness level whether you're just beginning or at an intermediate level. They also sanitize equipment after every class if you're worried about germs. 5/5 for me!

So happy I gave this place a try. I love that they have different types of workouts with different tools, ie slam balls, kettlebells etc. I've always wanted to use these but to insecure to do so. The coaches are so motivating and uplifting.

I am so impressed with the excellent customer service from all the staff at Yanagida Fitness! First of all, they greet you by name every time you arrive, truly treat you like family! I have a hip injury and each trainer has given me modification exercises if there are exercises that will aggravate my injury (without me checking with them or reminding them of my injury). They obviously check who is signed up for the class and prepare this ahead of time which I very much appreciate. They encourage and motivate you and accommodate every level of fitness. I've been going for several weeks and am feeling and seeing the difference!

I really love place, the positive energy is huge! Totally non-intimidating and the whole body workouts are suitable for every level. Way more fun and effective than big gym classes, and you get a lot of personal guidance for fitness, nutrition, and overall health. Just try it!

I see many post about losing weight, living a healthy lifestyle, & finding a gym. I highly recommend trying Yanagida Fitness! They offer workout classes early in the morning, mid-day, afternoon, and evening. The workouts are modified to fit your ability level. They demonstrate each workout before having you do it. It’s full body exercises. Need a little motivation while working out? No worries! Leave it up to the coaches! They are very encouraging throughout the entire workout! They help you with the workouts & cheer you on as well! They are there to help with forming better eating habits as well. Talk to them in person, on the phone, or through messaging! The coaches are the ones that separate Yanagida Fitness from the rest of the gyms! If you feel alone right now, you’ll meet many new people along this journey! All you have to do is show up! Once you start you’ll crave it like an addiction. This isn’t a quick fix, it’s the beginning to a healthier lifestyle!
