Top-Tier MMA Gym Experience
Joining America Combat Academy has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness and personal growth. The coaching staff is phenomenal—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping every member improve, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned fighter. The training programs are well-structured, combining technique, conditioning, and sparring in a way that keeps things challenging and exciting.
The atmosphere is incredibly supportive. Everyone trains hard, but there's a real sense of camaraderie and respect. No egos, just people pushing each other to be better. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and has everything you need—from heavy bags and mats to a ring for live drills.
What really sets this gym apart is the culture. It’s not just about fighting—it’s about discipline, confidence, and community. I’ve gained skills, strength, and friendships that I truly value. If you're looking for a place to train MMA seriously while feeling welcome and motivated, this is the spot.

There's room for improvement, I liked the vibes here, I believe they're real and it should keep going, but there are quite a few problems here that are holding it back from a 5 star review.
One of them is the unprofessional nature of the place. When I was there I smelt quite an odor even when I had just walked in, which is to be expected in a martial arts gym but it's quite indicative that the place isn't well kept and that definitely will take away some stars.
Another issue I didn't like the risk of injury. I believe its higher than it should be, because inexperienced people are allowed to get into hard sparring and even matches against other opponents even if they have like a few months of fighting experience. I believe its correct to light spar, but doing hard sparring at all can cut a couple of precious years away.
I also noticed first time I walked in there that the bjj coach seemed like he was stammering around everywhere and it was quite hard to hear what he was saying, which can definitely be a problem if it persists.
Finally, the last problem that I noticed was how difficult it was to get a hold of the coaches. My mother attempted multiple times but it was only until it was the weekdays that we finally were able to talk to them.
Overall, I believe this place has potential, but it has many things to improve on. I look forward to being able to potentially come back, but in the meantime this place has some stuff to improve on.
