I am in Idaho for a few weeks and hoped that I could use Anytime Fitness in Ammon to maintain my routine. I stopped by about 10am to see about getting a short term membership. The office area was dark and I didn't see a customer service counter. While I glanced around the gym for an employee, someone asked if I was here for therapy. He told me that "the lady should be back shortly". So I went to run other errands and returned at 11 am and same story. Frustrated, I left. I would love to tell you more about this gym but never got to that point.

I got a membership here abt 2 months ago during that time I’ve tried calling and even going in to set everything up they won’t answer me and when I went in I was told the worker just didn’t want to and wouldn’t help me I can’t cancel it without going in so I just took my card off now it’s trying to charge me 118$ in late fees but I’ve never even used the place very disappointing.

I love this gym. Even when I go during busy times, I can usually find the machines and weights I need to use whether its leg day or arm day. The treadmills can be hard to access sometimes, but the elipticals and bicycles are always available. The machines are also kept super clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I love that this place is open 24 hrs too so I can go whenever it works with my schedule. Highly recommend this gym!

Great gym has everything you need. two squat racks and a smith machine. 4 treadmills. rarely busy, always a few other gym goers there. the office has an evolt machine similar to In Body to track your progress.

Giving it a 1 star because i completed my contract and still had to pay $50 to cancel even though when i called and asked if there was a cancellation fee they said no as long as i was out of contract.

I’ve been coming here since June and absolutely love it. Gym has new ownership which is why I’m leaving a review. Tons of new, really nice equipment. The gym itself is always clean. I’ve probably came in 50-100 times and never had to deal with broken equipment. Once my membership is up I’ll sign up for another year.

Great gym, terrible management. Cancellation is a nightmare. They dont answer the phone during office hours and rarely check their email. Got ahold of them once and was told we'd get a call back with more information and that call never came. I've sent a few emails as well with no response.

Overall, great gym. Very clean and everyone is friendly. There aren't a lot of people there so most of the machines are open on any given day. If you are planning on keeping your membership for a while, definitely a good place to go. If you want a short membership, another gym would be better.

Avoid this place if you are a Senior (w/Silver Sneakers access) and plan a short stay in the area. I was finally returned a phone call after two voice mail messages during this center's stated Office hours (waited 3 days) and when I presented myself ("appointment") at the facility during the brief morning office hours discovered that at least the female staff person in the office during my visit was more interested in money than providing service
when she was unsure of me alternating fitness centers (different days) during my stay in the area. I returned to inform the staff person as I promised to indicate I was choosing NOT to use Anytime Fitness and if saying "It seems this place is more interested in money than service" is berating, then you have an unfortunate interpretation. Also, for the record, Planet Fitness is light years ahead of you folks in courtesy and customer service so I recommend others go there! Cheers!

I really love the atmosphere here and the staff. It is a little more expensive than some other gyms in the area but well worth it. My wife and I did an introductory visit in August as we were looking to get in better shape. Sierra, the manager, did a great job focusing on our goals and what we wanted. Another gym in the area only focused on their amenities (which I'll admit were great) but never asked us our goals or seemed to care about us. I'm a gym newbie and have never enjoyed going to the gym much until this time because I never knew what I was doing. The place is kept clean and the staff seem to really enjoy helping people. If you want a big facility with tons stuff, go somewhere else. But if you want a great experience, come here!

This gym isn’t bad but also not amazing. The staff is rarely there, some of the equipment is broken. There is lots of equipment but not sorted very well. Great space for open workouts though!

Nowadays, having a place to work on your fitness without having to check hours of operation is a must. The only trade of to always open is that, at times (those peak hours), or can feel a little cramped. Facilities for me have always been clean and refreshed. I enjoy their tanning options and the variety of exercise equipment. I would recommend Anytime, anytime.

Love my trainer Serria. I have had many trainers over the years and she is one of the best. She recently moved from Boise in August and I was lucky to get her as a trainer. She get down to business not to hard on me but defiantly not to light. If you want a good trainer that makes a difference call her she is awesome!!

My husband and I signed up for anytime fitness in August of 2018. We decided to go with them despite them being more expensive, because they had a daycare available. On the first day I was going to the gym, I went to drop my son off at the daycare and the daycare employees were sitting in chairs against the wall on their phones, while there was a baby screaming on the other side of the room and the place was filthy.

The ownership recently changed, and we are extremely frustrated with them. A few weeks ago, we went to let them know that we were done once our two year contract was up this past August. The owner informed us that we owed a $50 cancellation fee because we “signed up for auto renewal” which we never did, nor were we informed about it. What’s the point in signing a contract if you have to pay a fee to move on anyways? We also noticed a $30 charge in July and when we asked about that we were informed it was a “yearly fee.” No one told us about this either when we signed up.

We were also charged double in the month of August and when we told the owners about this, it took them 3 weeks to refund us.

Needless to say, we have not been pleased with our experience.

This is an updated, updated, updated review. Had a little misunderstanding on the cancellation, due mainly to the fact we had signed up long before Tyson and Amanda became the new owners. They've solved the concern to our satisfaction and have been very understanding to work with. The gym is a great gym to work out at, especially if you have a crazy schedule you're working around. The fact they are open literally anytime is the best perk about working out here. Only reason we cancelled after 2 years is for financial reasons; we are having a new baby very soon and have had a few very unexpected costly bills in the past few months. Anyway thank you for your understanding. Highly recommend.

First of all, canceling was easy as can be and took 5 minutes. I really liked working out here. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is a little small which was fine most of the times but could get crowded quickly around 5pm. It also doesn't have a pool or hot tub or things like that. But, the staff was great, things were clean.

Austin was super nice in our time that we used Anytime Fitness! He was great to work with, and the facilities are amazing! We would have continued with Anytime Fitness if we had moved to Idaho Falls as originally planned, but we ended up not moving there. I would highly recommend this Anytime Fitness location, though! Never too crowded. It's easy to enter, and they have great security for your personal belongings. Equipment works well, and gives you a variety of workouts to choose from. The private showers are nice, too!

I'm only giving you 1 star because 0 is not an option. I cancelled my membership 17 months after initiating per the 18 month contract, providing 30 day written notice. I started my contract Mar of 2013 and paid annual maintenance fees in July 2013. Mid-Jul 2014, Anytime took out the annual fee. I requested it be reimbursed, or at least pro-rated since I'd only been in the club for the 18 month membership contract and only had one month left in my contract and was told no, the franchise owner "sticks by the contract". The Manager of the IF clubs repeated the annoying phrase at least six times. By this response the club always wins, rather than pro-rating and showing thanks to their customers. Also, the club policy is to not provide the name of the franchise owner to customers leaving no further avenue for negotiation. BTW, six months ago I was told by Anytime that if I cancelled then, there was a stiff penalty fee, so if I just let the contract expire, continuing the membership required my approval anyway and no further action was required. Glad I called them to verify or I'm sure they'd be sticking by "the contract" on that too!
