If there was a negative star option that’s what I would be putting. I have tried to cancel my membership as per the email I received that said unless I replied my membership would continue. I replied to the email and I’m still getting charged because I’m being told that I have to come in and fill out a survey and a form to cancel. I did what I was supposed to do so I expected the gym to honor my request and do what they were supposed to do. I will never sign up for this gym again. The gym doesn’t keep up their equipment but yet I’m still expected to pay. The management is poor at this location and they’re never in the office for times that work for me if I was to need something. I am good not coming here again. Do better anytime fitness.

This company has illegally withdrawn from my credit card AFTER my membership was canceled. It was canceled and paid off in 2023. They started withdrawing again in April of 2024 which I caught and called them on it. Now in May of 2025 they have started AGAIN without my authorization. I am not even a member of this gym anymore.

**5 Stars!** Anytime Fitness in Star, ID is hands-down one of the best gyms in the area…and trust me, we toured or tried them all! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel comfortable whether you're a first-timer or a regular. The atmosphere is always positive and motivating, which really helps keep you on track. A huge shoutout to Mike for keeping the gym spotless—it's always clean and well-maintained, which I truly appreciate. The equipment is top-notch and clearly very well cared for, making every workout smooth and safe—thanks Ben! Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great fitness experience.

It’s a corporation and takes advantage of its customers. If you receive a late payment you won’t be able to cancel until the balance is taken care of while still accruing obscene amounts of interest. Work out here and pull a contract with any location at your own risk!

I hired Kim Ingraham to be my personal trainer in December 2024, she has been so motivating. She is kind, and extremely knowledgeable on the equipment. I look forward to my training sessions. I highly recommend Kim as a personal trainer ( you won’t be disappointed) 💪🙌

This is not your small town gym, it's a massive corporation that isn't interested in the community. Please go check out "The Gym" on State Street before making the mistake of joining this gym.

I have been a member here for several years, often going 4+ times a week. However, in March 2024, I moved out of state. I have not been to an Anytime Location in 11 months now.

In the last 3 months, I have received threatening emails from Anytime Fitness with this location's address, stating they are unable to charge me, and I am past due on payment. The emails feature subject lines like "TIME IS RUNNING OUT LOGAN." They could charge me just fine the previous 8 months. These emails began after my first attempt at canceling.

In January 2025, Anytime Fitness, and Ben, are still charging me $31.79 a month. That's $350 of free money Ben, and Anytime Fitness, has received. It is still not enough for them.

Even so, it is my fault for not canceling my membership before moving, and before these new employees took over.

I have tried to cancel my membership 3 times in the last 3 months to no avail. Maybe with the high turnover rate, the next employees will be more understanding.

I'd like to share my experience with the service at Anytime Fitness in Star. Both Ben Huffman and Kim Ingraham were extremely friendly and helpful in signing me up for my membership, acquainting me with the gym and providing the initial introduction to much of the equipment that I will be using as I attempt to improve my health and fitness. The facility is close to me and I look forward to working out there at least three days a week. The place is clean and well equipped, and Ben and Kim are truly excellent representatives of this local fitness center.

I walked in after filling out a free trial and they were extremely welcoming and accepting. I would highly recommend this gym as the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable making it easier to get a good work out in. I will definitely be coming back here!

I have been a member of this gym for 10 years. I recently came back (I paid my membership for a year regardless of attending). I have gone for the last two days. Both times treated badly by guys who are apparently more important than anyone else. Multiple machine usage is rampant and I tried going around the 2:00 hour just so I didn’t have to deal with a crowd. I feel bad for the elderly who want to work out here because I’m sure members intimidate them too. I guess I won’t go back now. Too bad, I’ve supported them for many years.

Great gym. I take my dad who is 87 to this gym 3 mornings a week. He really likes being able to do some exercising. Took him this morning in 18 degree weather. Bad sign when you pull in and no cars are in parking lot! Key fob didn’t work so I guess that was the problem. Door says it is staffed at 9 am but no one is ever there at that time. I usually see the manager get there around 10:30 while I’m waiting in the car for dad. No note on door or posting online that there is a problem getting in this morning.
I guess the manager will figure it out when he gets there later? Unfortunately poor management, nice gym.

I've tried four times now to talk to someone about signing up for a membership and I'm getting dead ends everywhere. I managed to get a hold of the manager and we agreed to meet the next day but when I arrived? No one. Left another voice mail but I doubt I'll get anywhere. There are plenty of other gyms to join and I'd rather give them my money.

I've tried several ways and times to get in contact with this gym to sign up for a membership. I went to their location on three separate occasions and no one was in the office to let me in (on the weekdays between 12:00 and 4:00; their hours cover 9-5 on all weekdays). I left several voicemails (attempting to schedule an appointment) over the period of three weeks. I'm sure it's a great gym, but customer service is well below acceptable. I'm curious how people even sign up for this place.

I have been attending this location for 3 years now and love it. When I joined I was incredibly overweight and was even embarrassed to go to the gym. The smaller, more personalized gym set up that Anytime offers was perfect for me. I never had trainers stalking me to pay for training sessions, the managers have always been friendly and willing to assist and it felt like home. Since being at Anytime Fitness, I have lost 264 pounds, all through weight training and nutrition and felt Anytime Fitness gave me the necessary tools to do what I needed to achieve success. They are great at testing classes to find what the interest level is among its members and the managers are always open for suggestions on how to better meet the needs of those who attend. I am grateful for the owners and operators that keep this location looking great, clean and with up to date equipment. Great job Anytime!
