Went to my first class today at Ascent! The location was super convenient and the facility is clean and has all the equipment you need for class.

My instructor was Chad for the core class and he was great! The class was challenging but still doable (I definitely had to take a few breaks). Chad explained everything in detail, was encouraging, and did the workout with the class.

I felt like I got a perfect balance of being pushed and challenged while also the understanding that it was tough! Haha.

I’m doing the free week trial right now which is also a really cool feature that they have. Highly recommend.

Verbose update after two years. Hopefully not too cheesy. It’s not overstating the situation to say that this gym will change your life. I have been all over including Warrior Fitness, Idaho Athletic Club, Crunch (which I also like), Planet Fitness, Johnny’s FitClub, the Fitness Lab and a home gym. A couple of years back, (when Ascent was called Fitmania), I signed up for a boot camp-type challenge and haven’t looked back. Chad and Jessica are amazing and supportive. This is obviously a passion of theirs, not just a business to generate revenue. In my experience, the other coaches are well-informed and know when to push you. They offer modified exercises if you have injuries or are just starting off. They offer nutritional consults. They also do body composition analysis. Super, super positive and supportive people.

I like that I don’t have to use any bandwidth to decide what exercises to do for a day. All I have to do is show up, …and push myself as much as I can. If I want to add anything extra I can do that after class (Sally Up??).

An additional bonus of this gym is that you have many ways to access their resources. I usually use the app and have weights at home. Or, I can sign up for slots to use their gym and weights by myself, following a pre-recorded workout. Or, I can go to instructor-led group classes. In the time of COVID-19 this flexibility has been an invaluable way to keep on track, even if everything shuts down. Also, if I work late I know I can still get a workout in.

Ascent Life Fitness has become a necessary part of my daily self-maintenance and well-being.

Ascent has recharged my joy for fitness! The trainers are knowledgable, friendly and supportive. I appreciate that the trainers watch for form mistakes and will correct if necessary, keeping us all safe. I look forward to my 5 AM class where we laugh together, sweat together and cheer each other to do our best! Beyond the gym, Ascent hosts many social activities, including taco lunch, volleyball and movie nights! So fun!

Ascent Life is great because I know I’m getting the most out of my workouts. When I went to conventional gyms I had no idea how to lift or what to do. Now I just show up to the gym and my workout is written by someone who knows what they’re doing and I have a trainer who can correct my form if needed and give me tips. It’s like having a personal trainer at every session. They also have an online option if you can’t make it to the gym in person you can watch videos of that days work out. The staff is super friendly and fun. I would highly recommend, especially if you want to get in shape fast for a big event like a wedding!

I highly recommend Ascent Life Fitness! I completed an 8-week challenge and knocked my goals out of the park: 50 push-ups on my toes and meal planning for breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. With supportive coaches and trainers I was able to meet my goals (the push up goal changed into timing how fast I could do 50 push-ups) and a side effect was losing 9.5 inches and 2% body fat. I need to buy new pants that don’t fall off! Ascent provides a positive and encouraging environment and the patrons are very supportive, too! Try a week’s worth of classes, you won’t regret it!

I recently completed an 8 week “choose your transformation” challenge with Ascent Life Fitness. I am beyond pleased not only with my results, but also the quality of and accountability from the trainers at ascent. My own personal goal in starting the challenge was to get back into a gym routine and exercise 4x a week - the fact that I enjoyed the workouts, trainers, and atmosphere made this easy to accomplish. After two knee surgeries and subsequent weight gain, I was not confident in what my body could actually do. Katie is one of the most amazing trainers I’ve worked with, and was always cognizant in classes of the fact that I have chronic knee pain and was quick to offer suggestions on how to modify but still get a great work out. This 8 week challenge was the perfect way to kickstart a routine when you may be lacking motivation or the confidence to do so; I would 100% recommend the classes at ascent.

Recently I participated in an 8 week challenge with Ascent. I had a goal to lose 12lbs, the remaining weight I wanted to lose after having had a baby 6 months ago. Ascent provided the tools necessary to shred those pounds. Although I didn't reach that goal fully, I did lose 8 lbs. I am happy that I lost more than half of that goal. As I said they provided me with the tools necessary to do so. Not only did I get a great workout in each day but coupling that with a food plan really helped to lose that weight. Ascent also offers a body scan so you can track your progress to see how you're doing and where you need improvements, if any. That was another thing that helped with my goal. If you're like me, someone who hates using machines at the gym because you have no idea what to do, then Ascent is definitely the place to go. The classes are just that, a class. You'll be working out with others and having a trainer lead the class. No thinking about what you should do next. Just follow their lead. The classes are designed to accommodate all types of people. They are not easy by any means. Each workout is meant to push you hard to lose that weight AND build muscle. You will walk away feeling so good! I will definitely be doing another challenge to lose the remaining 4 lbs as well as build muscle. Thank you Ascent for helping me reach my weight loss goals!

I just concluded an eight week fitness challenge at Ascent! Following the guidelines of trainers and coach I lost significant body fat, and gained muscle. Chad Powell, and ascent life have changed me forever. I started gaining weight in college and once I got married. I was up to 246 lbs. June 22nd I started following the workout and meal plans provided. Currently I’m sitting at 200 lbs, with 11 percent body fat. I’m stronger, faster, and more confident than I’ve ever been. I eat like an adult should. I cook my own food, and when I eat out I know what options are best for me.
I loved being held accountable. I took progress photos every 6 weeks. Each week I also weighed in and tracked my progress. The program works. The people are there to help. They are genuine. If you are thinking about starting, do it. The best investment I’ve made so far was to join this program. I’m healthier, more successful in work, better in my marriage, and my sales career has flourished. I attribute my fitness with a lot of my other successes.

I finished a 6 week challenge with FitMania as well, and it changed my life. It sounds like such a short time, but so much can be accomplished in those few weeks, and I will forever be grateful that I did it! It showed me what I am physically and mentally capable of doing. The trainers' energy is contagious and palpable, and the nutrition advice and guidelines were invaluable. I signed up for the six week challenge for free. What an amazing opportunity to take my fitness to the next level. The goals were very aggressive but the plans they help you with between exercise and nutrition are spectacular. At one point I was a little worried my goals weren't attainable. Rather than just ignoring me they took extra time to make sure I had what I needed to meet them. I barely eeked it out. But I made it.

Lost 10 pounds of fat (12 pounds on the scale) in 6 weeks. Improved cardiovascular strength, improved core strength, and new exercise ideas. If your goal is to lose weight, improve in key areas, or just provide you a little more consistency, they are top notch. Good people & great and improving programs.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch. Those words are very true and in that light please be aware that the six week challenge is going to cost you. I wish that I had known that it would be $600 up front, but that isn't the cost. You will be refunded your money at the completion of the challenge. Honestly, even if I had not gotten a refund I would be happy. The cost is in time, effort and commitment. Sweat is the real currency and they get it. The challenge was simple and the staff was amazing. Very positive engery every time I came in. Everyone knows your name and cares about your progress and success. If you have experienced hostile or apathetic gyms in the past as I have, then this will be a refressing and positive change. If you really want to make a positive and lasting change for the betting in your life, FitMania is the place to do it!

I just finished the 6 week challenge and am blown away by my results. I've been training on my own for a year and had hit a plateau. Fitmania helped me break through that plateau and finally get the results I was looking for. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and were there to answer any questions or concerns I had. The support system helps to keep you motivated and accountable. 3 locations and the ability to do classes online make it so easy to get a workout in with your schedule. I can average a 500 calorie burn with the HIIRT training that only last 45 min! It was taking me close to 90 minutes in a traditional gym to get that. I would highly recommend Fitmania to anyone whether you are just starting your healthy life journey or just looking to change things up.

I just completed a 6 week fitness challenge at FitMania. I’m completely blown away from the owners to the trainers to the gym members on down. It is a positive experience across the board. The truth holds at FitMania that, if you get yourself in the door, they will take care of you from there. The meal plans are realistic but incredibly healthy for you. The workouts switch every week. So that you stay challenged, while also noticing both weight loss results and increased strength, endurance, and flexibility. LOVE Fitmania. It's be the only exercise routine I've been able to stick with. I've been going 2.5 years and still love it. I started out having to wear a knee brace, got steroid shots in my knee, but I have no more issues with my knee. Work outs are hard, you do the best you can.
