Avant- Coeur has been amazing for both my son and daughter. Every coach we have experienced has been a 12 out of 10. They are mindful and attentive to their classes and truly encourage growth and discipline. We’ve had such a positive experience here! The gymnastics and parkour coaches have been amazing with our kids. They made sure our daughter, who has cerebral palsy, felt just as capable as everyone else. With their help, she gained strength on her weaker side, and even her physical therapist has seen the benefits.

Our son gained so much confidence through the parkour program and even had the chance to step into a leadership role at times.

Scheduling is easy, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We’ve already recommended this place to friends, and they’re loving it too. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely terrible to work with. I would never send my kids here. My daughter was signed up for gymnastics here by her step mom and she’s got a disability. She was constantly getting injured because they didn’t communicate with all the coaches what her limitations were. For one injury I had to take my daughter to the doctor and when I brought the note in from the doctor reiterating my daughter’s limitations, the owner reached out to me via email. She was extremely rude, condescending and impossible to work with like I was in the wrong for protecting my daughter. If considering a gymnastics option for you child I would definitely consider looking around for a place that respects each child’s individual skill set and limitations rather than this place that offers a blanket class for all the athletes.

5 stars for Kora at Avant Coeur! Not only can she teach she’s hilarious! My kid wears glasses and Kora will come over and physically redirect her when needed vs pointing. Very interactive and upbeat. Constant encouragement and high fives. We love Kora!!

My sister has been coming to Avant Couer for a couple of years now & my 1 year old is starting her classes next week! We love all the coaches and how it feels like one big family! Prior to Avant Coeur offering ninja classes, I took my son to trial every ninja class in the area - even into Washington. Nothing was a good fit. Either the teacher wasn't a good fit, or the class didn't offer any physical challenge so it was boring. As soon as I saw that Avant Coeur was offering ninja classes, we jumped on it. I cannot begin to explain how amazing the program is. First of all, Coach Jensen is THE BEST COACH on the entire planet. He is so encouraging. He challenges all the kids in the unique way they need. I've never once seen him start a class even a minute late or end it early. His time management skills help to make a very well-organized class experience. He also trains his co-coaches to be equally as encouraging and fun. My favorite part of these classes is this - at the beginning of each class, my kids aren't able to complete some skill or obstacle. By the end, they've done it at least once. The confidence boost is great for all kids. Both of my kids have grown so much. They have had several opportunities to compete. I know that my kids won't be the same because of their time in these ninja classes. They are more confident, stronger individuals because of their time spent jumping off obstacles and swinging between bars at Avant Coeur. The front desk staff is also extremely kind and helpful. Everyone is professional, but not stiff and stuffy. Our experience has been great. I've told Coach Jensen he's never allowed to retire. I want my kids learning under his energy and encouragement for years to come. Thanks, Avant Coeur, for offering the best ninja class around!

We’ve really enjoyed our experience at Avant Coeur Gymnastics! The group classes are engaging, and our child loves participating in Super Saturdays. It’s clear that the coaches are passionate about gymnastics, and the energy in the gym is always positive.

That said, the only area I’d like to see improved is the class size. In my opinion, it can be a bit too large, which makes it harder for coaches to give individualized attention when students are learning new skills. I think a smaller class size would help ensure each child gets more focused guidance, especially as they work on more advanced techniques.

Overall, we’ve had a wonderful time and look forward to continuing our gymnastics journey with Avant Coeur! Highly recommend.

All three of my daughters have been in Avant Coeur classes from the age of 2 - my oldest is almost 10 and our two evenings a week at the gym are still the highlight of their week. From Team gymnastics, to Ninja, to preschool gymnastics we love every single coach that interacts with our kids. We have been taking our kids to gymnastics for almost 4 years now. The young kids classes are amazing, but what really makes it is the coaches! Dawn and Blaike especially are just angels. My son has been going to Avant since September and he loves it!!

He has had a few different coaches and all of them have been wonderful. His current coach is Coach Cole who is amazing!! Coach Cole is great with the little kids, encouraging, patient and kind! I have honestly seen a lot of improvement with my son since he started with Coach Cole and I am very happy about that.

The rest of the staff at Avant are wonderful as well. You are greeted warmly when you walk in the door and everyone is so friendly.

Avant is a family friendly environment. It has lots of options for kids at different skill levels or for kids just wanting to have some fun.

Other reviewers have mentioned it is pricey but I don't agree for the quality you get it is well worth it! Plus if your kid is sick you get to make up the day at a later time, and not forfeit it. They also let you try out the class to make sure you and your child are happy and it is the right fit.

All in all Avant is a great place, I am so happy I found it and my son has a blast everytime he goes!
