A Safe, Healthy Environment
Balanced Pilates Center is a small, private studio with limited traffic, catering to clients interested in private and semi-private sessions. Balanced Pilates Center is a Pilates-exclusive studio offering private reformer classes, private mat classes and duet mat classes. Sessions are offered by appointment only and are designed to meet you. I always follow protocols that keep the studio disease-free and safe, with an appropriate transition time scheduled between clients to allow for sanitizing equipment and the studio.

I have always wanted to try Pilates, but I was always intimidated because of my fitness level but I decided to just go for it. I found Kathy's studio online and booked the beginner class the night before. I walked in and felt so welcomed. Kathy is amazing, she makes you feel good while also helping you. The environment Kathy has created in her studio is warm, kind, and positive and I felt so welcomed by the other clients as well. I highly recommend coming to a class and if you're afraid please don't be because this is such a safe environment. I felt amazing after her class, and I will be making this a weekly thing for myself.

We were in CDA for a wedding. Kathy was a wonderful instructor. We were a group of 2 to 4 for a week. And we each had different physical needs and experience levels. She listened and gave all of us fantastic lessons.

Can't say enough good things about Kathy and the way she teaches pilates! She saved me from a terrible shoulder injury, and now I'm stronger and more mobile than ever! Pilates is by far the best workout I've ever done, especially if you're a women looking for low-impact work with high-impact results.

When I read about Balanced Pilates in the North Idaho Wellness Magazine, I was intrigued. Kathy's approach to the pilates method sounded like what I was searching for. Her emphasis on technique, along with her attention to form and posture, ensures each participant receives a personalised workout that yields great results. I've taken pilates at multiple studios over the past 20 years. Kathy is the best instructor I've had the pleasure to practice with.

My husband had a hip replacement and did not take his PT seriously. Actually he resisted all forms of PT, and his recovery took a hit. We started couples sessions twice a week with Balanced Pilates and in a surprisingly short period of time he went from limited mobility to regaining full function with absence of pain.
Kathy not only tailored our sessions to achieve this goal, she also ensured I was working to my potential as well.
In addition to those sessions, I started taking group classes with my daughter. It is truly the highlight of my week. Each class is different. Each class we work a different muscle group. Each class there is a movement that Kathy is demonstrating and I am thinking 'not a chance', but with her skill set at encouraging and modifying when necessary I am able to complete the task. It's a great feeling of accomplishment, and time always goes by too quickly. (I am always sad when we start our cool down. I cannot say that about many of my group exercise classes.)
Kathy is fun, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and we truly enjoy our sessions.

Kathleen is my second Pilattes teacher and I am very glad that I stumbled upon her studio. The studio is warm and clean and she is always adding new equipment to keep the studio up to date. I was very impressed that she suggested and was willing to reach out to my prior instructor in a different state to grab notes about my progress and what type of student she was getting. Once we found a time and day each week that worked for both of us, we have stayed consistent with our scheduling and things have progressed about as smoothly as possible. Other than that, if your interested in starting out with Pilattes, I would give her place a big thumbs up. Cheers.

Absolutely the Best studio hands down!
I love how clean the studio is and the one on one attention I receive. I have been to many Studios that do not take their time with you or correct your posture So you wonβt have a injury!
I highly recommend Balance Pilates Center!! I have recommended this studio with full confidence to my family & friends it will not disappoint! You will be in very good hands here! I suggest trying this studio before the secret is out!
