I used to live in Idaho falls and before I moved I went to this gym nearly everyday. The staff is really welcoming, they take great care of their equipment, and the environment is amazing. Victor always greets you, makes you feel at home, and takes care of you. I travel to Idaho falls biannually for work and I always workout here while I’m in town. Everyone still remembers me and the people push you to be your best self. I would not recommend any other gym over Bodifi Idaho falls.

It’s a decent gym, the equipment they have though is HORRIBLE, they use “Matrix” and it’s horrible for lifting. Very cheap crappy equipment, I highly recommend Empire or the Apple, way better quality and way more worth the price.

I joined Bodifi a year ago. My year contract ended and the month after I was again charged for a monthly fee. I went in to the facility and inquired as to why I was charged after my contract ended. I was told that I have to send in a certified letter closing out my membership. They even had a cancellation form for me to sign that stated that I wanted to close my membership out. I signed it, took it to the post office and mailed it certified. Within a week I received an email from their billing company stating that they received the letter and would process my cancellation policy but that I needed to make a final payment, which was the cost of the monthly membership because I was no longer under contract. I went back into Bodifi and the employee at the counter stated that not only would I have to pay for the final monthly payment but also the yearly gym membership of $49.99. I was originally told by the gym that when our contracts are up we no longer would be charged for my monthly payment, that it would just close out my account automatically. I would not have joined this gym if I knew all of the unnecessary steps that I would have to take when my membership ended. Charging me or anyone for a yearly gym membership when your contact has ended and you are not renewing your membership is wrong. The gym itself (the equipment and facility) are fine. The business end of Bodifi is horrible and because of this I would never ever encourage anyone to join this gym. So, beware of this if you are considering joining this gym. I would highly discourage anyone from doing so!

My son had a membership with Bodify, and the cancellation process was incredibly frustrating. To cancel, he had to send in a physical letter—preferably certified. There were no options to cancel in person at the gym or through an app, which feels completely outdated and intentionally difficult. This experience has really soured how we feel about the gym. It feels borderline predatory. Did I mention I am the one who had to go get his certified letter since he works from 5 am to 8 pm at night. Yep, I did. Ridiculous!

Do not join Bodifi! Their entire business model is designed to screw you over, squeeze as much money as possible from you, and then make it difficult and annoying if you want to leave. I recently upgraded my membership so I could bring a guest (cost me around $160 up front) for them to change the benefits of each membership just a few months later, so I was no longer able to bring a guest as well as a few other restricted benefits. There was no mention to us that the benefits of each membership were soon going to change. In order to cancel your membership you have to mail a request to their headquarters in Utah asking that you no longer be billed. This is clearly set up to make it as big of a hassle as possible, because they know many people would be too lazy to even go through that process. Even after jumping through all these hoops to cancel the membership, I have to pay a fee for breaking my contract. This was $60 which I guess isn’t horrendous but still man, they wanna pinch every last cent out of you.

Bodifi knows what they’re doing is shady but they don’t care! Don’t support a place like that lol

This gym got crazy out of their mind. To start, they jacked up their prices like crazy. When I first came, it was like $20. Cancelation was a nightmare and took so long, not to mention having to mail the cancelation letter. I left for another gym for a while because it got crazy busy with not enough machines to do anything. We came back because we were tired of driving across town to go to the gym. I now I pay $60 a month (I did go up a tier for guest privileges and 24/7 access). We didn't get 24/7 access for months and they wanted to schedule time to sit down and have a meeting about rules, this and that. No big deal. Except the manager didn't show up for the meeting and we had to reschedule. The $50 fee for that access. Then they go and take away the guest access when I pay $60 a month. SIXTY DOLLARS A MONTH for them to TAKE AWAY privileges. Now if I want to bring a friend, I'd have to pay nearly $80 a month. No thanks. I'll find somewhere else.

They did add a dry sauna which is a good upgrade.

I have been a member of Bodifi Gym before it got its current name and I can certainly say that even though the name has changed over the last 20-plus years, the customer service and the willingness to provide a top class product/business has not wavered. The staff is very knowledgeable, respectful and always looking for opportunities to make the gym better…if that is possible. Staff members are also fully informed, and educated about which pieces of equipment can help improve different muscle groups. Ownership and Staff are always willing to listen to their members, and never afraid to invest in state of the art equipment that helps us to achieve our individual health goals. The gym is always clean, and the staff does an incredible job maintaining a high level of hygiene for its members. I’m happy to be a member of Bodifi.

I went to Bodifi on Broadway for over two years. I initially joined because they were part of a program that offered discounts to veterans, and they had decent amenities. Not one year after joining, they stopped doing the program that offered those discounts to veterans, so I was forced to pay double what I previously was. Over the next couple of years I noted the following; mens locker room consistently had terrible plumbing. Roughly half the time, at least one toilet was backed up causing it to smell of sewage. It would take multiple days for this to be fixed. At times, the water coming out of the water fountain appeared murky, with a white tint to it. Paper towels were never stocked in the restrooms or throughout the gym, which astounds me because no one wiped down their equipment after use. I saw multiple times the manager of this gym, the one that tells you to wipe down your equipment when you sign up, not wipe down his equipment after use. At least one cable machine was down on one side at least a third of the time. The cables that do work haven't been lubed since they were installed, so most had a grainy resistance. Lately, they decided to increase their profits and let children take up half the gym at 6pm on weeknights. With these children came their parents, who would actively sit on equipment and chat for the entirety of their hour long session. Most recently, they further increased the price, then conveniently after that payment went through, stripped the biggest benefit the gym had from every single gym goer (free guest pass). On top of this, to cancel, you have to write a letter to the company. When you see other reviews, you will see that they like to actively avoid canceling your membership. If this happens, PLEASE WRITE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. On top of this, their cancelation process goes against the FTC guidelines in at least TWO ways, with it being more complex than signing up, and not being the same method.
