Love this gym my little sister has been attending since she was 9. The owner is great lover her she’s the sweetest but I do have a couple things to say, the customer service is not great. I completely blame it on some of the girls that work in the front office they are very unprofessional and rude. I’ve worked in customer service, no matter if your having a bad day or not you should always treat others the way you want to be treated especially and most importantly while at work.

My girl has been going here for a year. It's a good place. Safe. Clean. Looks like she gets some quality training too they are competitive. The younger gals who instruct my daughter do a good job. They get to know her and help her stay focused.
It's a good vibe people care and work hard and it shows and that's why I wrote this they are doing a good job . Keep it up and thanks for involving goofy dad's who wanna support their kiddos.

Both of our girls train at Danik after training at another gymnastics gym first. They both decided they wanted to join a more serious program and we could not be happier with their coaching. Perfecting skills is the primary focus here, so the little details are noticed and addressed so that our girls continue to improve at every practice.
I'll say that for the reviews of the recreational classes not investing much time into skill building for very young practitioners... take those with a grain of salt. These coaches are here to expose children to the world of gymnastics; to provide them direction to build skills through play and burn off some energy. It is up to the child to take advantage of the coaching and make the most of the time they have in class to study the skills and get productive reps in. Self-motivation is the name of the game here. Parents can help with that by setting expectations for their child ahead of class to ensure their money is well spent. Both of my girls started in rec classes and it was up to them to take their practices seriously to level up. Coaches do notice and reward improvement with praise the athletes earn.
I've seen Danik produce thriving athletes, but those athletes put in just as much effort as their coaches to becoming great. As all fruitful relationships do.

My boys have been at Danik for a few months and they are loving it! We started them a bit older than the the rest of the kids in beginner (8 & 10) so I opted for private lessons for them. Pricing is fair and their instructor Malia is fantastic, they boys have already progressed a ton in just a few weeks! Macy at the front desk is awesome to work with, very friendly and accommodating. We are very happy with Danik and I'm thrilled to find an activity that both kids love!

My daughter goes to Danik, it's a great gymnastics place and the staff and teachers are all really great. Only thing that is a bummer is parking, the place is so popular, it's extremely difficult to find a spot to park anywhere.

My 4 yr old went in for a trial class. The girls at the front desk were not very inviting, if I didn’t go up and inform them it was our first class they wouldn’t have even acknowledged us. The facility is huge and the equipment is in great condition.
What we weren’t impressed with was the coaching for her age level. The coaches were young and didn’t seem to provide much instruction. There were 2 coaches for her age group, one of them held one of the athletes for about 40 minutes of the hour class. The coach couldn’t help any of the other kids or provide instructions since she was carrying one of them nearly the whole time. Very bad example for the other kids in the class.
My daughter had fun and really wants to do gymnastics. For the price we don’t think it is worth it for the level of coaching and instruction.

If you are looking for a place for your kids to get energy out or step foot into what gymnastics is like then this is the place.
However if you are looking for somewhere that will teach the cores of gymnastics I do not recommend this place.
The staff are all very sweet and kind. The waiting area for parents was a little crowded and dirty. Not a big ordeal. The staff were all very sweet young teenagers who showed great kindness to the kiddos however I quickly learned a lot of them were not experienced. This came direct from another staff members mouth. We did the trial for older girls but she was doing things other classes were doing. She was also alone in her class no other students in her class. That was heartbreaking.
I’m a former gymnast myself and a big thing we are taught is body mechanics and none of this was taught to her when she was trying out and you worry about injuries at that point. If it was tumbling it wouldn’t have been big but headstands and handstands you are talking spinal injuries.
Anyways I gave this place a 3/5 for its kindness, availability, accessibility, and equipment. However it lacked teachers with skills, courses outlined differently from eachother, and safety.
If you do decide to go here with your kids I have no doubt they are in good care so again I’m not putting anyone down I’m just stating this isn’t the place to build and learn skills.

The "coach" mostly just tells the kids what to do, and scarcely watches to see if they even know how to do it. Very seldom does she actually inatruct.

Great gymnastics, pretty good prices. They aren't the cheapest but they have a great environment and coach drew with the littles is amazing! There aren't any refunds, if you need to cancel during the month, just heads up. They have a good process for makeups though.

My daughter has been doing gymnastics for 3 years, since she was 2. They offer all levels and ages. If you want to get serious about joining the gymnastics team they offer multiple programs.
It’s been $85 for 1 class a week. The teachers are very sweet.
We even did winter gymnastics camp- though it ended up being uncomfortable for my 5 year old as they had kids that were 11 and bulling her in the same class. She said she told the teachers that she was getting bullied (ie pushed into the foam pit, and the older boy was telling her Santa and the tooth fairy was not real) and the teachers “did not believe her” when I approached the them the next day I was told the boy “has continuous problems.” because of this my daughter spent 1 hr at a 6 hr camp the next day as the child who bullied her was there again.
Great place for gymnastics classes, not a reasonable place for camp due to the large age range and the gymnastics instructors general apathy.

We were here for 2.5 years and left.
Ultimately, we left because my daughter was hit, scratched, had her leotard ripped off her shoulder, licked, wet willied, etc. from another little girl. (Every single class there are children who act this way) When I brought it to attention I got the sad eyes from coaches but ultimately nothing was done so I was forced to protect her myself and leave the facility.
This behavior was on "pre-team." Which the entire thing is a joke. You can only get onto pre team through invitation from a coach, so you'd assume they take it seriously. The preteam class is HUGE, probably around 20 or more girls.
They do not have enough qualified coaches to handle a group that big, especially when 90% of the class is unruly & horribly behaved. The majority of the class, the coaches are confused about where to even take the group of girls around the gym. It is incredibly unorganized.
If it was a regular 5 year old class, fine be unorganized and confused, but if I'm paying over $100 for my daughter to "train for team," then you better train her for the team.
The coaches should NEVER accept little girls onto pre-team who have zero listening skills and then use the excuse, "well they're 4 and 5 years old, so we don't expect them to listen all the time." Great, then keep them on the regular 4 - and 5 year old classes. Don't invite them to preteam. Don't start a pre team if your facility doesn't have the man power, knowledge, or ability to train for team.
If you actually want your kids taught skill and techniques, they probably won't get that here unless you pay a TON for one on one coaching or get favored by a coach. Most of the coaches stand around and stare at eachother or converse while the kids get no direction and start to misbehave. Most of the coaches are straight out of high-school and act like babysitters.

Our whole experience was less than ideal. Today I brought my 3 year old daughter in for her first class. The front desk gal didn’t greet us, I had to walk up to her and ask where to go and what to do, even then she didn’t show us around she just pointed and said “over there in the corner”. When class started the teacher didn’t acknowledge my daughter at all which caused my daughter to not want to join the class. My daughter has been doing gymnastics and she was 18 months old and she loves it so this was very out of character for her. The teacher never said one word to her or encouraged her to come over and join the class. She just kept standing there. I then gave up trying to get my daughter to join the class and left. I let the front desk know that she didn’t want to join the class and that the teacher did not even acknowledge her presence to which they said “oh, okay….” we were offered a morning class with a different teacher, but we can only do afternoon classes. We will be finding another gym and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

My experience at Danik has been like no other. Coach Grayson is such a nice and handsome young man, and his knowledge of the sport is unmatched. Wouldn't recommend team for people not willing to work hard. Overall Experience: 100/10!

My 3 boys wanted to try tumbling at this place. My 9 and 8 year old were in tumbling class and my 4 yr old in super tots. We did a trial classes. The older ones actually had a great time. Coach Jackson was amazing. I watched him actually teach my kids and correct their form. My boys were ecstatic and even had him come talk to me after class to make sure they could stay in his class. Super impressed with Coach Jackson and his eagerness to help the kids that were struggling. Not impressed with the super tots class. The coach was nice, but didn’t seem to enjoy what she was doing. The kids would each take turns on one thing then take a water break. It was a water break after everything. I feel this was a very wasteful way to spend the hour. There was little to no correction in regards to form and/or teaching. It was this is a trampoline, jump…this is a beam…walk on it. These are children that are little sponges. They want to learn and deserve to be taught. Nothing against teenage coaches, but of the ones I watched, I was not impressed. With the exception of coach Jackson and another female with long brown hair teaching girls on the bars. They were actually teaching and correcting their students. The rest were busy talking and not paying attention. I’m guessing they are cheap labor as opposed to an experienced adult coach. The gym is nice and big. The equipment seems to be in good shape. However, I would recommend this place take a real dive into how the coaches are portraying the facility. Families are paying for a service and it needs to be professionally delivered. Maybe try to avoid cramming several different age groups all in the same area.

We have made the mistake of being in gymnastics with Danik for over a year. Our daughter started in the beginner class.
Communication: There was ZERO communication except maybe an occasional slip of paper sent home a week or so before a skills showcase;. classes are canceled on some holidays but not others, skills showcases, progression of programs and many other details went completely unaddressed. We have never been in gymnastics so we went with the flow and kept taking her. She said she liked it. Then she got bored, so we switched her to tumbling. She loved it at first. She had a male coach who was attentive and really worked on skills with the class. There were a few times where she would have a sub and they would just chat with the other coaches the entire time and left the girls to kind of do whatever they wanted.
Cost: They kept upping the price and because we were autopay, we had to take note ourselves. It’s a dollar more to get a family membership to the YMCA, which you can use more than once a week.
We paid extra for her to do the winter skills showcase. She got a medal and a certificate. It was disorganized and boring.
Customer Service: the literal worst. The coaches looked miserable with the exception of the pre-k kids coach. She looked warm and inviting. No one ever greeted you from the front desk. And when I went to withdraw, I was given a sheet of paper to fill out. No one ever called me to address my concerns.
Team building: None. My kiddo didn’t even know the names of the kids in her classes and to be honest, people come and go so frequently (here’s your sign) that I’m not sure they could do any.
It was an all around mess. We gave them loooots of time to improve and it didn’t. Learn from our mistake. Avoid it.

If your child doesn't already show a natural aptitude for gymnastics this is not the place for you. The beginner classes are chaotic, unstructured and very little corrective coaching is done to improve form. That coupled with the fact that coaches are never the same from week to week creates an environment where no one knows your child's strengths or weaknesses and they perform the same exact series of movements every class. We have been going for about a year and I have seen the kids that have natural talent be pulled into an intermediate class where they recieve real coaching and show marked improvement each week. So unless you can afford private lessons the average child will just move up age groups. We will continue to go only because my daughter loves the social outlet and it's good exercise.

It's fun for kiddos. I'm not a fan of the coaching they really don't have a set coach for each class. They rotate them weekly so no consistency at all. I just felt like my daughter wasn't going to advance in gymnastics without more consistency.

I took my child to a free trial class to see what this facility is all about. Walking in the staff was not very friendly which is something that is important to my family especially if I’m paying money for something. The vibes were just not it, they were playing unprofessional music at the facility. I did like the equipment they have and the class was good in what they have the kids doing but the coach had a bad attitude I can’t justify having this be a coach to my child. I would say don’t commit to it online without first doing the free trial. I was glad we did and now we can move on to a different facility hopefully with more positive friendly staff.

Anyone who reviews this gym as “well organized” or “great place” has very obviously not enrolled their children in classes. My daughter has been in the preschool class for 5 classes the very very young female coach does not try to actually teach them anything. She spends 90% of the class sitting watching the kids monkey around. She has no interest in keeping the group together or making any attempt at correcting poor behavior between the kids. The two weeks we have had this coach my daughter has been pinched, hit, squeezed and bitten by a little boy, who I’m told is the previous owners son. The coach even made comment “I noticed he’s pinching her a lot today” yet no correction was even attempted. Apparently this gives him some sort of pass. Other kids have been hurt and left completely unattended requiring other parents to enter the floor and supervise their own kids. I am very aware of how dangerous gymnastics can be by nature but this gym takes danger to a new level! Coach Drew is the only hope this gym has! He’s amazing with the kids but there’s no guarantee you will ever have the same coach week to week. The desk staff is snarky and shows absolutely no interest in helping with parent concerns. Enroll with extreme caution and make sure to read the fine print! This gym requires you to sign policies that waives all liability on their part even in the event of NEGLIGENCE… like I said read the fine print!

I just wanted to let you all know that Brea Bakken is an amazing coach and we love her. My son Alex goes to her 4:30 preschool class on Tuesdays. She is always so patient and kind. She never gets frustrated with the kids and I get how hard that can be. They are all so full of energy and hard to keep contained and on task. She does so well and I just wanted to make sure she gets the recognition she deserves. It is very apparent she loves children and her job. She always has a smile on her face and is so gentle with our little ones (there is one coach there that taught his class once that was not very kind). Thank you so much Brea!!

This is the worst gym I've been to. Not in regards to equipment, but in regards to coaching. We moved here a few years ago and I enrolled my children in gymnastics. My daughter had been in gymnastics from the age of two and she was now 7. The first issue is the chaos with parking and overall seating space for parents. This is not a big deal if your kids are being coached really well. My son was in the 3-year-old class and my daughter was in a 7-year-old class. None of their coaches looked older than 15 or 16 years old. My son's teenage coach paid little, If any attention to the young boys. She would show them what to do and then sit there as they did it. They didn't help with form or anything. This was the same with my daughter's class. My 3-year-old son would get distracted and leave the group and the coach would just shrug her shoulders and let him run around. This meant that at every class I had to go in there with him and help her coach all the toddlers in the class. It was just pure chaos here. We eventually left and found a better gym up the road.

*they reuse the same 1 ice pack for everyone** Front desk incident: my kid got hurt and we went to the front desk to ask for an ice pack. The Front desk male handed one to us. We proceeded to walk out to head home and he yelled at us, "are you leaving? Trying to steal the ice pack?". I turned around and said no I thought it was for us to take. He replied that they only had one to hand out and we couldn't steal that one. I immediately handed it back. GROSS! It never crossed my mind that a gymnastics place would reuse an ice pack and not have disposable ice packs or baggies with ice to hand out. The kid teaching the class is great and we will continue for now. Front desk male needs to have better communication skills.

In the few months I've been bringing my child to Danik, I have been given misinformation at least 5 times. When I asked to speak to the boss /owner about the disorganization and poor customer service, the little girl behind the counter (who was rude and provided horrible customer service) said she was the manager and refused to tell me her name. She would only refer me to "the website" when I asked for a telephone number or how to reach the owner. The girl sitting there even admitted she was the one who gave me the wrong information, but the "manager" refused to assist in any way other than to refer me to the website. She kept contradicting herself and even laughed at me. I have literally never received such poor customer service. Will be pulling my kid and spending my hard-earned money elsewhere.

I am very disappointed with Danik. My daughter is 3 almost 4 and started two weeks ago with the preschool group. She was very shy to go with the group when they started stretching. Both instructors (who look like high schoolers that hate their job) didn’t even acknowledge or try to make her feel welcome. So I have to take her hand and walk her over. Observing the class, the instructor blonde gal would show the toddlers like three different moves they are Supposed to do on the little bars and expects
Them to know how to do them all. They hang on the bars looking clueless at her because she’s not actually helping them. You can’t expect Toddlers to know what they are doing in basic gymnastics, The instructor is there to help teach so they learn. They were never encouraging just seemed annoyed the whole time. She kept looking at her Apple Watch at messages constantly and the last 10 min of class, all areas were taken so they just sat there bored and each kid jumps one at a time on trampoline...
So unorganized and careless employees and will
Never come back or refer.

My daughter enjoyed going there. We had signed up for a class on Fridays (which is listed on their class paper schedule that the receptionist handed me as well as their website). The receptionist urged me to sign up TODAY because the class was filling up. She had me specify the class, the time and the age of my daughter on the paperwork. I received a call a few days later that there was no kindergarten class and I had to take another class. She was rude when I questioned it and blamed it on the "new system". If there was such an interest in the class and it was almost full, why does the class all the sudden not exist. It felt as if they were being dishonest and if they don't have the staff to teach the class on Fridays, then just tell me. Don't blame it on the system. I can't believe how rude she was and why am I the bad guy for questioning the fact that I was persuaded to sign up ASAP.

Gym has a bullying problem with girls picking on other girls on the teams. Coaches do not care and do not think its a problem, as opposed to countless parents who have complained. GM Demtry does not care either, when approached for discussion it was clear he had no interest in taking action. They bar parents from practices because they don't want you to see how inept and uncaring they are. When my daughter was injured they asked her if she wanted to be 'Tough' or 'Quit and go home'. They just want your money and for you to not see how they mistreat your children.

Had my son’s birthday party here and he loved it! Very reasonable price to have the whole place to yourself, plus a convenient party room with fridge/freezer and no ban on outside food. My son also attends weekly classes. While he got bored with parkour after a while, he’s once again enthusiastic after switching to a trampoline class and now ‘tricking’. It’s been a good energy outlet to offset too many hours of video gaming ;-)

The people here do not work well with kids or parents. They allow bullying to happen with children and don't do anything to a dress the situation. I wouldn't recommend having you child around this place at all. If you can't communicate propey with parents how can you be trusted to teach the kids.

We've been taking gymnastics and parkour classes on and off for years. Currently, I bring 7 children ages 5-17 to take their classes for the summer session. My kids all look forward to it. The coaches are knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are affordable. We would recommend Danik gym in Meridian, Idaho to anyone local.

classes don’t always start or stop on time. I noticed they spend a lot of time just standing around waiting for the whole class because the 2nd grade girls (and others that aren’t on teams or advanced) don’t have very much room. I’m currently watching a class of 3 teen girls who have more room available to them than a group of 6 girls get. Almost all of the coaches look like they hate their job. The bathroom are always in horrible condition, and parking is a nightmare. There’s also very little waiting room for parents.

Our daughter started out in recreational classes at Danik last year, and when team try out announcements were made, she wanted to try. She made it to the Level 1 team. On the first day of practice for the team, I drove my daughter to drop her off. (We were told that it's preferred that parents do not stay.) My daughter was 6, so I didn't feel comfortable dropping her off without knowing where to send her. We waited and waited in the sitting area, with no one coming over to instruct us where to go. I had to get back to work (practice was in the morning during the summer, and luckily I work from home so I could drop her off). Finally, I took off my shoes and tried to walk her over to a coach in the work out area. As I am walking with her, I get yelled at, "Are you a parent? You need to go wait over there." That did not sit well with me. I complained to the head coach later via email; turns out she was the one who I had the interaction with.
To make a long story short, pretty much our entire time on the team went like that. We had very little communication with the coaches--it was all done via email, and never in person. Our daughter had some behavior issues during practice, and we were not told about it until months later. The woman at the front desk is not helpful at all and looks and acts like she hates her job. I'm not sure why the folks at Danik don't treat their clients better.
To Danik's credit, they do seem to win a lot of competitions, so the coaches obviously know their stuff. We had a couple of personal coaching sessions, and that coach was so lovely and helpful to our daughter. But all in all, the communication is just absolutely horrible. We changed gyms, my daughter is on the team, and she is thriving. She enjoys it so much, and so do we. I have talked to more people (front desk, coaches) in just three weeks than I have in a year at Danik. Danik is just not the place for us. If your child is going for a college scholarship or wants to be in the olympics, then I would suggest Danik. If she wants to have fun, perhaps it's not the right place for you either.

Revised review: Since my initial review I have noticed a huge improvement in communication. My daughter had a birthday the day before class and the instructor came over as soon as we arrived and said happy birthday. Being 5, she asked if she could try the next class up and they let her give it a shot. Afterwards both instructors spoke to me about it afterwards to tell me where she was at. We are happy with this gym.
(Initial review: 3 star) We moved to this gym from another because it was closer to our house. They always start on time and do a warm up with everyone then divide the class up into a more manageable size group of kids. A reason we switched to Danik was my daughter's previous instructors wouldn't teach her the right way to execute a move and the instructors at Danik do. It is very organized and planned out what each group will do each time and the last 5 minutes is for free play. One thing i dont necessarily like is that i haven't once in 6 months spoken to an instructors. They never introduced themselves to me or have talked to me about my daughters strengths and weaknesses. Her old gym did that and I think it is important.

As a parent of a Danik competitive gymnast, Danik is definitely the BEST! Their Junior Olympic program has proven to be the best in the state year after year. Thank you coaches for continuously pushing my kid to succeed in all that she does. Keep up the great work! My daughter wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! 💚🖤

We love Danik! My son really enjoys the Parkour Class. The coaches do an amazing job of teaching the skills while having fun! My other son loves his gymnastics 1st/2nd Boys Class. He is gaining in strength and skill and has a blast doing it! I only gave four stars because class sizes can get pretty large. I like the smaller classes because each student gets more time with the coaches. I also gave four stars because there seems to be a disconnect between each side of the gym. One side is for the teams and one side is for those just taking classes. You definitely see a difference in performance, which makes sense (and is inspiring)! It has just been unclear the process of joining the teams. Is it purely child and parent driven or is it invitation only? We love going!!

NEVER EVER GO HERE. Instruction is terrible and the coaches and staff are completely unprofessional. After enrolling my daughter, who is extremely active but has a medical condition that makes her small for her age, her "coaches" spent the entire summer session belittling her in front of her entire class and mocking her physical size. This was in addition to their general disinterest in coaching and their rude attitude toward every child in the class. The last straw was when they demeaned my daughter and called her a "midget" in front of her class. When we wrote the manager, he made a vague reference to speaking with the coach and then actually used the phrase "these things happen." NO, they do not. Or at least they do not in any organization with proper training on working with children and coaches mature enough to understand the influence they have on the kids they work with.

Danik is awesome. I've seen a lot of growth in the last five years as their junior olympic programs have really grown to be quite impressive. This review focuses on the competitive team. Comparing gyms can be difficult, but if you're looking for excellence, Danik has consistently been scoring very high for years. One of Danik’s main differentiators is that most of their best gymnasts were trained either exclusively or primarily at Danik rather than simply being recruited from other gyms once they were already good. Danik’s coaching staff is tough in practice, but coaches care deeply about the gymnasts. Danik is for Idaho’s serious gymnasts who want to be national contenders rather than just local Idaho stars.

People seem to give this place a bad rap. I can't speak for the gymnastics or tumbling classes, but I haven't had any issues with the parkour ones. The real benefit of going to danik, for classes or open gym, is to be able to hang out with the other students and coaches, learn/practice a couple new things, and then have some time to work on your own tricks. If you're looking to be babysat the whole way then they're probably not for you. I think they work best when you're willing to try things out for yourself, and then ask for pointers if you need it. I again can't speak for the gymnastics classes or how kids are treated, but for learning and practicing parkour/freerunning I haven't found a better place.

We decided to try this gym moving from Bronco Elite (which we loved) but we wanted something closer. We heard about Danik and wanted to give it a try. We hated the first session, no instruction whatsoever. They spent 1/2 an hour warming up. then the coach who was a teenage girl who was not interested at all in coaching. Would have the kids follow her but not instruct or coach. I thought maybe it was just the first class. I kept my daughter in it all summer, and it did not improve. Needless to say, when I wanted to cancel, I couldnt do it over the phone. I had to go down in person. When I did...the person that handled cancellations wasn't there...
SAVE YOUR MONEY....DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

I only go on fridays for AGX but most of the time you cannot blame the instructors some of the kids go there to play and if you child does this please consider going to jump time because we have dudes that are actually trying to get better at the sport. once again don't blame the instructors some kids do not listen and decide to do stupid things that are against the rules and they keep doing that so if you say it sucks because of the instructors check you children.

Coaches on the parkour side are very rude and act like you are not important at all. Also the foam in the foam pit is very old but we all pay to go in there and we pay for the upkeep of the area and this is very disappointing to me because I have spent at least a thousand dollars. It is sad to see this place with amazing capabilities being run by unprofessional people.

These reviews are deceptive in that the positive reviews seem to be written by those who have a vested interest in the company - not from actual customers. Another significant and equally disturbing problem - Danik has never responded to a single post. That speaks volumes for their business practices and ethics. Thanks to you who took the time to write about your dismal experiences.

This is our 2nd year taking our boys to Danik for summer classes. We honestly wish we hadn't signed up for this summer but it's the only parkour class we could find. But certainly won't make the same mistake again next year.
We have encountered multiple gymnastic coaches who, in my opinion, should not be coaching children. Many of them are not friendly at all and don't seem to enjoy being around children. In addition to comparing the kids to each other and making them feel bad if they make a mistake.
The parking is outrageous. There are about 1/3 of the parking spaces they need to accommodate their paying customers. Most of which are taken up by their employees. And if you don't manage to get there super early and snag one of the parking spaces, this leaves you parking on the road. But you can't park close to the building because of "no parking" signs. So you either have to park across the street and then cross the street with all your kids or park a few blocks away.
Last but certainly not least, there is the no air conditioning issue. Not only do they not air condition the building but they do not even use fans or a ventilation. The only time they opened the doors to allow air flow was on a 107 degree day. You know it's hot in the building when they have the doors open to cool it down and its 107 outside. Otherwise, you are sitting in a oven with the most stagnant air you can imagine. When I asked at the front desk if they receive a lot of complaints about how hot it is, the girl said "I don't know but it's air conditioned in here!". So they are willing to cool down the office area for their employees but aren't willing to invest in fans and vents for their paying customers.

My daughter has been coming here for the last 4 months. She was "promoted" to the 5-6 year old class (she's 4 years old) after I asked for her to be moved up a level. The 3-4 year old class is VERY basic with little coaching or instruction. The class sizes are HUGE. Right now, there are ten 5-6 year olds in her class with 2 "coaches". Many of the coaches are young and lack enthusiasm; rarely do the coaches in my daughter's class provide instruction, correction/feedback, or positive encouragement. While my daughter loves gymnastics, I don't love this facility. It's mediocre at best with limited seating for adults and an ineffective air conditioning system, resulting in an uncomfortable environment for spectators.

When we signed up our daughter, we did the first class free, and they made it sound like we better hurry and sign her up immediately, or else there will not be a spot left for her (which I've talked to other moms, and they all say they were pressured the same way). First off, what a joke! The worst service /coaching I've ever seen! My daughter took their classes for 8 months and didn't learn a thing. There was a different coach every lesson, and none of them corrected any technique, they (teenagers who are coaching) just chatted among themselves and goofed off the whole time. Didn't take anything seriously, and did the same thing over and over each class--never improving, or adding something new. I can not say one good thing about them. All they care about is their competition side, and just turn over coaches and students like crazy--trying to get money.

I really am disappointed in this gym. Why we stayed as long as we did is beyond me. In the 4 months we were there the "coach" had little personality and did nothing to help those that needed help. She stared at her clip board and looked very board at her job. My daughter is also terrified after watching the girls on the competitive team get yelled at and made cry. She will not even put on a leotard to play.

We decided to try out this gym last summer with their $99 special and are hooked!! My two daughters have made so much progress in such a short time that they are now on competition teams. One of my daughters did so well that she won All Around State Champion in State last year for her age and level. This would not have been possible if it weren't for the high level of coaching and instruction she received. Her twin brother went through chemo and a bone marrow transplant as a toddler and had been receiving physical therapy for 6 1/2 years. After 6 months at Danik, he has become so much stronger, he no longer needs therapy!!! Love what this gym has done for my family!

Don't do business here. My Wife and Kids went there today, one class had my 3 and 4 year old's in it. In under 30 minutes they had ignored my 3 year old (nearly the whole time) and the instructors made my 4 year old cry.
When my Wife went to the front desk to ask why this gymnastics class had spent 30 minutes of the 60 minute class stretching, instead of teaching gymnastics, the front desk told us that since this was a home school class and we don't pay much to attend the class, we don't get much (in the way of gymnastics instruction). This lady must be out of her mind and assuming she is not an owner, should be fired. With her attitude about the price, you would think us the home school families made up the prices to participate, not the owners of the gym. Do NOT go here for any reason these people need to be boycotted.
