I started dancing at EDP at 17 years old, and despite my lack of prior experience everyone was so kind to me and genuinely put effort into helping me improve! The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is so positive and lovely, and it’s a safe space for dancers of all levels and experiences!

We love EDP so so much! They are kind, compassionate and truly care about the well being of their dancers. Their dancers are trained with great technique and the ability to pick up choreography quickly. They respect a good family/life balance, and they offer opportunities for girls to further their love for dance by joining a company (they have both travel and non-travel teams which is awesome!) They have two buildings with several different dance rooms, and classes for littles, tweens, teens, adults and even for special needs. We are so happy to be a part of the EDP family! :)

My daughter loves dancing at Elevated Dance Project. She has danced for eight years total, and this is her third year at EDP. She often says that EDP is her “happy place” and “safe space”. She has formed close friendships with girls both on and off her company. The studio has always provided a wide variety of genres and levels to keep class size small and tailored to the students in each class. It has been fun to watch EDP’s ballet program grow as the studio provides more opportunities for them.

She has been on competitive dance teams at two other studios, and her experience with EDP’s competitive dance company has been so much more positive. We love the uplifting atmosphere and the focus on the whole dancer, not just winning awards. (But they win awards too!) The staff hold high standards and performance expectations, and they approach corrections with “I know you can do better”. This has helped her grow in ways that were not possible at other studios, and kept her not just dancing, but finding the joy in it.

We have two daughters that been dancing at Elevated dance project for 6 and a half years. EDP is not only a dance studio that inspires and teaches many styles of dance, but also a studio that helps build character and wonderful humans. The teachers are compassionate amazing people that push our kids to grow technically, physically, mentally and emotionally as dancers but also help our kids grow in character. Because they foster a kind and approachable environment all the parents and families are truly terrific people to be around too. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The owners love dance and our kids. We consider EDP an extension of our family. Being there 5 days a week, it's a blessing to know that well rounded, compassionate, kind people are everywhere. We couldn't imagine being anywhere else. At many competition/ conventions the studio routinely wins the award for sportsmanship. It just shows how much they care about dancing and helping our kids cheer no only each other on but other teams as well while spreading that enthusiasm wherever they go. My kids absolutely love this studio. Currently, they compete in small and large group dances and solos. They also take recreation classes to improve their skills in all areas. EDP has many options and camps to help any student at any age start wherever they are in their dancing journey and push them to grow in multiple ways. If you're looking for a studio to invest your family's time and money into, you will see that your money goes beyond just the dance skills your child will learn. I did the tiny tots with my 3 year old and it couldn't have gone better. Ms. Liz is absolutely amazing!!!! We were also very impressed with the other classes in the recital.

Elevated Dance Project is unlike any other studio in town. The owners, Kim and Melissa, have created an environment of kindness first, without sacrificing quality instruction. They don’t require perfection, but teach the dancers to trust in the process, and much growth will come. I have seen so much growth in my daughter in the two years she has been there. And just as important to me, if not more, she is not being compared to others, but just pushed to improve herself. All dancers, regardless of their skill level are regarded as equally important to the studio. I appreciate that they keep their teams and classes small enough that personal attention can be given. My daughter has been a part of a team, but I have observed that all the dancers who take classes are treated with equal love and respect. I also really love that at EDP dance is viewed as an art form, so learning how to express yourself through dance is taught well. Love this studio that feels like a family!

We have visited from Washington multiple times to take training here. I have Int/advanced dancers and they are pushed and encouraged to the next level. We've gotten to see other levels train as well and feel like it is absolutely a safe space for all levels to learn and grow toward their individual goals. The culture is the best part.... they lead with love and kindness.
