I would say best facility in Meridian area. Best quality equipment in the area with Rogue, Assault Fitness, etc. Cleanliness is great compared to how extremely dirty gyms like Villa Sport / Crunch are. Locker room is great along with private showering so you don't have to run into old men with their ding dongs out everyday. Best music selection in the area bar none for gym. The aesthetic looks great with the black on black and recognizes actual athletes in the world. If you live in Boise / Meridian this is probably the best gym you can go to. My only knock is it is on the small side. Would like to see facility expansion. Friendly staff for the most part. Some think they have more knowledge than God and can feel extremely clique or groupie vibes. Not enough for a 4 star rating. If you can overlook that this is where you can go to make alot of positive changes. Would recommend to people that live in the area. This is the only gym in boise that would get a general cosign from me.

As a new resident to the area finding a local gym to workout was important. I looked at several facilities in the area, but went with Empyre. The staff are always friendly and greet you by name when you walk in. The gym is always clean, equipment is always in working order and nothing stays out of service for long. Most people pick up after themselves, but the staff follows up throughout the day with keeping the gear in order, dusted, etc. Same goes for the restroom / locker area. This is a small neighborhood gym that that is much better than the larger more commercial facilities, in my opinion. Highly recommend.

The gym it's self is quite nice and clean. Attempted to speak with the management about having the ability to use the sauna, while I recover. I required a surgery for a shattered collar bone. I was met with disrespect from the people at the front desk. One of them even sarcastically wished me luck. Honestly I won't recommend it, for the price there are way better places to lift. Hell commercial gyms beat it in my opinion. I don't leave reviews often. So it's either insanely good or pretty terrible if I do.

Update: Ali from Empyre reached out. We spoke about this review. I can't say anything but good things about her. She takes her job seriously and obviously pays attention to her community. I won't say anything but this. Experience is what you pay for at a gym like this. Ali is a shining example of that experience. She went out of her way to help me and has restored my faith in their staff.

ABSOLUTELY Love this place!!! Such great equipment selection. I chose to get a membership with Empyre after doing a day pass and having such a great experience :) and seeing that they have the assualt runners, peloton bike and the rolling bench for Bulgarian split squats. Their coaches (Clayton, Alex and Chris ) are also wonderful to work with friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.

I love how organized and clean this gym is. It’s rare to find that. The staff here is so friendly and will acknowledge and greet you every time you enter and exit. Kaitlyn will even remember who every person is and she is an absolute gem. They have great equipment. It’s a smaller more intimate vibe were everyone is friendly. I really appreciate the extra items in the bathroom like hair ties, tampons, dry shampoo, etc. you never know when you may need them.

Dishonest manager, Chaylene. Signed my daughter up beginning of June while home from college and made it clear she would be leaving the first week of August to go back to college. I even attempted to pay for it advance and was told it was not necessary. We canceled on July 26 but this was not input from the employee??? Reattempted again on 01 August and was told by Chaylene we didn’t give them the full 7 days, charged this morning. Just get it in writing. I’d think a gym who pridefully sales themselves as being the best wouldn’t engage in the same membership tactics as franchise gyms. Fortunately we have a paper trail so I’ll also submit a complaint to the BBB.

I emailed Fitness Manager on several occasions in regards to a particular situation. This official ignored my emails and I said I would appreciated a response as I deemed lack of correspondence unprofessional. Instead of replying to me like a professional they terminated my account for no reason, cause or proof. I was nothing but courtesy and respectful to all members and staff. In turn, they discriminated against me just for asking for an email reply. These acts are unprofessional, tactless and childish.

Absolute love everything about this gym and the team working their. My wife and I both have trainers (Sam & Kyle) and we have never seen so much progress so quickly. My scrawny @$$ has been the same weight since high school. No matter what I didn’t or how much money I spent on trainers and programs, I couldn’t keep weight on. After 4 months with Kyle I’m very close to my goal weight and hitting PRs every week.
My wife is always talking about how much she loves sam and how she has never felt more confident physically prior to training with Sam. This is the only gym I would recommend to my friends.

I love Empyre. Matt is an amazing trainer. The facility is awesome and always so clean. The equipment is in excellent condition and an amazing assortment. The bathroom is beautiful and I love all the supplies that you guys have in there for the guests. I also love that it’s not overly crowded. It feels very comfortable. All of the staff and trainers around the gym and at the front desk are so helpful and friendly. Glad to have a gym like this so close to my home.
