I appreciate that Rigby has a fairly nice gym in town & do think this is a good option considering we don’t have many. It gets the job done.

Beyond that, the bathrooms are usually a mess with no soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. being a common occurrence. Not to mention, dirt, grime, and hair in every nook and cranny around the gym. They’re slow to fix equipment and let building repairs go as long as they can.

Additionally, my key never works to enter the building after staffed hours. I’ve talked with three separate workers about it, and they’ve told me it’s because my charges are pending when it doesn’t work (we’re on autopay & my husband’s key always works.) I finally convinced them to give me a new key, and surprise, it doesn’t work either. I’ve run into multiple people with this issue. Very frustrating to have limited time to get to the gym and then find out you can’t even get in to use it after arriving.

We’ve been going to this gym since it opened years ago and will continue to because it’s our best option, but we don’t feel it’s quite worth what we pay, especially considering the brand new facilities they’re opening all around southern-southeast Idaho.

Fit 1 group fitness is the best. The instructors are experienced, friendly and super motivating! Cassidy has taught at Fit 1 for many years and is a huge part of why I have stayed a member so long! Her Surge Strength and High Fit combo is the perfect full body workout! She is always learning new choreography to keep things fresh and fun!

Fit1 Group Fitness classes are WHERE IT’S AT. I’ve consistently been going for a few months now, 2-3 classes a week. I am seeing small changes and definitely getting stronger! The instructors are phenomenal. They always encourage me to lift heavier. Actually, we’re gonna need some bigger dumbbells in the studio ASAP cuz my friends and I are getting buff. Each of the instructors welcome me in by name as I walk through the door. They do such a great job hyping up the class and keeping us in the know on Instagram. They literally all deserve a raise!! I would not come to class if they weren’t as cool and energetic and they are! I feel so lucky to have found my people with Fit1 group fitness and HATE missing class!

I have been coming to Fit 1 in Rigby for over a year now. I was happy when I started coming regularly but over the last year they have been making small updates and overall I have been very impressed.

I am more often than not on the squat racks working on 'the big 3' and havent had to wait for a rack to open because they have plenty. When I do use the machines it is also pretty rare for me to have to wait for a machine to open up (I am going during the middle of the day/lunchtime).

Staff are helpful and are often cleaning the workout areas. No concerns from me for cleanliness. Great selection of proteins, pre workouts, snacks and drinks.

Love the gym, love that its 24 hours! and I love that the owners really try and invest back into the gym by keeping up with repairs, maintenance, and new equipment. It sometimes takes sometime to get those repairs done but, I would imagine that it would its hard to get people to show up johnny on the spot and fix it. Great equipment for a small town gym but it ends there! They don't care about maintenance. I've held off leaving an honest review waiting & begging them to fix things and they just refuse to pay attention. Several light fixtures have been out since February making a whole corner of the gym dark. Benches/seats are torn.

The air conditioner is broken and they won't properly address it. I'm not the only one, just one of few who are willing to speak up.

It was 75˚ in the gym first thing this morning when it was only 55˚ outside. It was hot and humid with sweat in the gym this morning. When I opened doors to allow some ventilation, staff member closed the doors. Ceiling fans weren't running and A/C was not working again. It will be over 80˚ in the gym by evening!

I've emailed the owners, messaged on FB & IG, public posts have been made by other patrons, and the owners refuse to address the issue. Enough is enough!

There's a resistance machine here called the Precor, and I may have found a new go to spot. For the majority of my life I've been using free weights and bands, and have gotten good results. This machine makes my muscles burn in ways that bands haven't achieved.
Don't worry about the learning curve, it's short lived. What's not short lived is the time I have spent on this machine.
Go try it out for a bit, and then maybe take someone there for date night and show off for a bit. ;)

I signed up for the month to month thinking I would be able to spend a little extra for a couple months and try the gym out.

For 60 days of gym time these crooks billed my card for $200.

Customer service is non existent. Save your money or go to Anytime Fitness on the other side of town. They have never over charged me and then justified the horrible business practices.

Read my other reviews, I'm not a negative person. But I hate poor ethics, and even worse are business practices that include taking as much as possible from customers without any thought of the experience they are delivering.

All the equipment you could want, and it feels/smells super clean. The tanning bed is better than most places in Rigby. There's an awesome mixture of people at all fitness levels and ages. I love how many teens go, as well as how many seniors go--I had originally had the impression it was only crazy serious athletes there, but there's a great mix.

This place is an absolute joke! I signed up my Sister, my daughter, my friend and myself. We were told we could tan until 8 p.m. and that's a lie! I was sick and sent my daughter with her aunt and they wouldn't let my daughter work out without me. First they said she had to be 15 to workout without me.. then I go back and they change it to 16?? Their excuse is they had employees who weren't knowledgeable. If that's the case, train your staff better! It's not my fault you are incapable of training your staff! Do you know how humiliated my daughter felt for sitting in the locker room being shamed in front of everyone there? Common do better!! She should never have felt like that! She is a child!

Couldn’t ask for more from a gym.. It’s amazing how much more I enjoy my workout when there is plenty of equipment for everyone to use. No stress! It’s a clean and welcoming environment and these are significant factors when I’m trying to create new habits of exercising and love being there.
