Welcome to Gather Pilates, McCall’s downtown mindful movement studio located just steps from scenic Payette Lake.

Our friendly and highly trained instructors are here to support you at every stage of your Pilates and wellness journey. Whether you’re a Pilates newbie or an experienced Pilates enthusiast, we are here to support you!

We offer Mat Pilates, Reformer & Spring Board, Barre, Private Pilates training, Dance, Ayurveda & USSD Kempo Karate classes.

Pilates has helped strengthen my pelvic floor muscles after my partial hysterectomy over a year ago. I use different muscles than those used doing my traditional weights and walking routine. Plus the friendly instructor and my Wednesday classmates are a hoot! Pilates is super fun!

My wife and I have been taking Pilates reformer classes from Jean for about two months twice a week. Our sessions are the highlight of our week. We’re both stronger and leaner as a result. We love Gather Pilates! My daughter attends dance classes here which frees up time for me to join a reformer class at the same time. I value the option to work out while my kid is in activity and the reformer class has done wonders for my posture and core. We are in McCall on a family vacation and decided to do a ladies workout class with 3 generations of women.

We goofed on our reservation but Jean was more than accommodating to allow us all to join. I have taken Pilates in several different cities and thought this experience was amazing! Her cues were clear, helpful, and reassuring as we had some Pilates first timers in the group. I felt challenged but that the directions were clear and manageable.

I will gladly recommend this studio to friends when they visit McCall and I plan to come back next time I’m here.

I am taking the beg/intermediate reformer class from Jean and I LOVE IT! It is honestly the best class I have ever taken. It was suggested that I take Pilates to improve my bone health. I am feeling stronger and I definitely have more energy after every class. It’s like caffeine for me but even better. I was shopping at Natural Grocers the other day and when I was heading up to checkout the checker said to me…

”It’s nice to see the bounce in your step today”. 😊 I immediately told him,
“I just finished Pilates.”
He said,
“You aren’t the first person who has said that! I think I will take Pilates!”

That made my day because while I started Pilates to stop my osteoporosis, I am seeing so many more benefits: IT’S FUN! I have more energy, I’m stronger everywhere, I’m experiencing better balance and endurance, and the best part is having the chance to spend time with other women in our community who are supporting each other toward better health.

I can’t thank you enough, Jean!! 🤗 I’m going to be around for awhile! 😆

I had never done pilates, really didn't know much about it, but my 5 week beginner course was wonderful. I will be continuing at Gather Pilates. Our class was small, which gave Jean the ability to give one on one personal instruction to each of us when needed. There is no need to be apprehensive if you have never tried pilates. Jean is very good at explaining movement and making you feel very comfortable in the classroom. Highly recommend Jean at Gather Pilates.

I am 62 years old and a total newbie to Pilates- I enrolled in Jeans' 5 week Beginner Pilates Reformer Class and it has changed my life! Jean is an amazing teacher and even though there were 3-4 of us at a time in each class, I felt that I received one on one attention every class. When I first decided to give Pilates a try, I had no idea how much I would learn through doing these sessions! Jean has an immense knowledge of the body...in more areas than just Pilates.

With each class I keep taking home information that is changing my life...(Outside of getting a great workout). Through the work we have been doing with breath and posture alone, I feel much more conscious of what my body is doing and how I am moving my body with more mindfulness. I love this new awareness, I feel great and look forward to my Monday classes each week.

If you are searching for a professional who is incredibly knowledgeable, is fun to work with and will approach workouts with a focus on your total mind, body and spirit, Jean is absolutely the best!  I have had trainers for varied goals and all around fitness throughout my life, but since signing on with Jean, I wish that I had known her from the get go.  She targets the objectives you want to achieve and even those that you didn't know you had!  For those of you who have challenges related to post traumatic injury and want to get back on the road to fitness, Jean is your ideal fit.  On a final note, if you are concerned about the health risks associated with the pandemic, you don't have to miss any sessions.  She simply sends you a link and you can Zoom in!  It's seamless, and I still receive a great workout.

I took one of Jean’s wellness classes out of her home Pilates studio and was very impressed! Her studios is clean and equipment is well maintained. I loved Jean’s whole life approach. We didn’t only do Pilates, we also talked about healthy eating habits, healthy sleeping habits, and holistic approaches to wellness. Her studio is perfect for small groups. I highly recommend her!
