Every kid shines bright at Gym Stars! We offer gymnastics, ninja, preschool, and tumbling classes for children ages 15 months to 14 years old.
Our positive and educational environment is welcoming, supportive and professional. Our class sizes are small, which allows for proper one-on-one attention and we utilize two separate gym spaces to allow for optimal space for each class.
Our staff is experienced and knowledgeable with focus on continuing their skills and training to ensure they continue to adapt to the needs of our students. Most importantly, we love working with children!
We want every child to learn and grow through the sport of gymnastics! This sport is wonderful for your child's fitness, confidence and self-esteem.

They have an amazing Ninja class. Our son Jake has been doing gymnastics and parkour for years and his new instructor Adam is by far the best he’s ever had. We love the small class size and the dedicated teaching. Keep up the good work Gym Stars!

Gym Stars is such a great place! The coaches take time to show the kids the right way to do things and they are very patient and kind. My daughter is on the Bronze Xcel team and she has loved every minute of it! If you want a gym that will go above and beyond, look no further! The coaches are like none other. Thanks Gym Stars!

Thanks to a great referral our daughter started at Gym Stars in 2023. She started out trying different classes, always improving and learning new skills with guidance from the awesome coaches. She moved up to different classes . I highly recommend trying Pre Team if your child is interested is doing team. She could be more excited for her 1st year on team - Yay!! Gym Stars is been a great fit for our family!

My daughters have been members of the Gym stars team for years and we love the positive environment and kind coaches. We have tried other teams in the valley that had a very negative and highly competitive culture that was causing my girls to dislike the sport they loved. Switching to gym stars was the best decision we made!

Gym Stars has been a great place for our daughter who is new to team gymnastics. They encourage hard work but still make it fun. Ali loves to go to practice, even after a long day at school. There is no place she would rather be!

Gym Stars is more than just a gym to us! Andrea and all the coaches coach with a FAMILY FIRST attitude! They are not only knowledgeable but truly care about each child's progress and well-being. They instill a strong work ethic in a fun and supportive environment. You can really see the hard work and dedication the coaches put in to helping every gymnast reach their potential! But even more than that, they want to make sure the girls are having FUN and are SAFE! Gym Stars has helped to majorly build confidence for our daughter who is shy by nature. She has gone from crying during try outs to doing back handsprings with ease! We are so thankful for Gym Stars!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place that combines top-notch training with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere!

We LOVE Gym Stars! We walked into this gym 2 1/2 years ago to try out for the Team having NO idea what we were signing up for (no one in our family has ever done gymnastics before and my daughter has two older brothers).
The coaches welcomed my (7 yr old, at the time) daughter with open arms (and we, as parents, were welcomed, too) There were some tough days/weeks (as with any sport, you have to put in the time during practice and it's not easy!) My daughter had a hard time with behavior, in the few 2 years, at practice (messing around, not taking things seriously, etc). I love that the coaches were very straight-forward with her and us (the parents). Andrea was clear with the expectations and my daughter has benefited greatly, from that discipline. I love that these coaches are working on character building AND amazing gymnastics skills.
All the love, encouragement, discipline and FUN have paid off.
We are starting our 3rd year on the competitive Team and our daughter has 'leveled-up' in her skills. The coaches (specifically Andrea and Emily) have been with Grace since the beginning and they are still supporting her continued growth. I love that they will push her, but always they will always pause to give a hug when needed.
In this last season of Team (Winter 23-24), we were the 'returning team members' on the Bronze team, and I got to witness MANY new circumstances with the coaches, the girls and the parents. We were at a Meet towards the end of the season, and one of our girl's didn't want to leave her grandparent's side to start warm-ups. A few of us Moms were trying everything we could think of, and finally I called Andrea (owner/head coach) over to let her know what was going on. She immediately left the floor and spent almost 10 minutes with our teammate. She was successful in getting this girl onto the floor and this girl ended up having a GREAT Meet. It was so amazing to see the care and concern of the coaches - I weigh this a lot higher than winning medals.
As a mom to a gymnast, I personally REALLY appreciate the direct conversations (face-to-face or email) with the coaches. I know that I can always reach out and ask questions, and the answers are always thoughtful and very specific to my daughter. And there are always options, with opinions, but room for the parents to make the ultimate best decision for their children. This Gym and this team are definitely our daughters' 2nd home. Many thanks to all the coaches for being on our Team .

My family has been involved with Gym Stars since their beginning and we couldn't be happier! My boys went as toddlers up through the ninja classes and can both still do standing backflips at age 14. My daughter is on the competitive gymnastics team and has gained skills that she would never have dreamed possible without Gym Stars. Gym Stars has always shown my children compassion and inspiration. I love that it is a smaller facility that allows for personal attention and extra support. Gym Stars has been a special place for all of my children to thrive. ❤️

This place is truly awful. We moved to Boise and did not do our research. Big mistake. Our daughter was extremely unhappy here, the kids do not receive attention compared to where we went in WA and thankfully we explored other centers.

My daughter loves Gym Stars. She is on the Xcel team and this will be her second year competing. We transferred from another gym because we wanted a positive atmosphere with coaches who are kind and pay attention to the athletes. I love that my daughter is not required to practice as many hours as many of the gyms in town. As a parent, we are allowed to choose the meets she attends. My daughter has also improved in her skill tremendously, the gym gives her the freedom to try new skills. She loves coming to practice!

My kid has gone here for several years. I’m amazed at the growth she has shown. Her self confidence has grown so much. This was a kid that could with no gymnastics and experience before she started and now she has placed in the top 3 in numerous competitions. The coaches are amazing! I can’t imagine having our kids go anywhere else

We couldn’t be happier with the Gym Stars gymnastics programs! We have participated in classes and are now part of the competitive team. The coaches are absolutely incredible—well-organized, great communicators, and always encouraging. They motivate our daughter in such a thoughtful and positive way, helping her grow both as a gymnast and as an individual. I would highly recommend any program at Gym Stats to anyone looking for a supportive and professional environment for their child.

My daughter has always been shy, she has now been with gym stars just over a year now. In that time she has learned to be more confident in herself and emerged from the shadows. The stories and excitement my daughter brings home is priceless, she is so proud to be a part of this team and experience and absolutely adores her coaches. When a girl learns a new skill they ring a bell and the whole gym celebrates. The culture this gym has fostered promotes strong bonds between coaches and gymnasts that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.
Thank you gym stars!

Terrible “gymnastics” school. Do not waste your money. The facility is tiny with mold on the walls and ceiling, visible cobwebs & unsanitary bathrooms but it’s the customer service that is truly horrendous. There’s zero room in the aisles to watch your kids & the teachers clearly could care less about kids or teaching.
After months of enrolling our child only because his cousins went here, when we decided to withdraw him giving 2 weeks of advanced notice, we were told we were a day late to do so and couldn’t stop his classes without paying a $30 fee.
When we were finally allowed to withdraw him (and had 2 more classes left in the month) days later we received an email telling us how our request to withdraw was not ok and he was to be removed from the class effective immediately.
Mind you, their “manager” Emily Mead could not have been ruder when we had made our request so this email was truly bizarre. It also went so far as to make up some issue about our child being disruptive (!) which had never been brought up before, as to why they were canceling our gymnastics subscription even earlier than had been requested. Truly shocking business decision on all fronts in addition to such a poorly run facility with the absolute worst customer service imaginable. Seriously, save your money. There are SO many other truly lovely gymnastics schools in the area.
*** In response to the blatant lie and slander of the owner below, all I can say is WOW. I did not bully your staff in any way shape or form or threaten to get them fired or sue your business. How ridiculous. I asked politely to simply withdraw our child and was met with hostility on the part of YOUR staff and then your email. That you would go so far to characterize what happened with such blatant falsehood is really sad. Serious warning to anyone considering enrolling their kid here. Just wow.
I can’t believe we paid money to such a negative and toxic place, and the irony of you pretending to be some positive environment!! If that’s what your staff told you happened, without even speaking to me the customer … yeah I would consider hiring better staff. I just feel sorry for your entire organization at this point. Disgusting behavior like your disgusting facility.

I brought my daughter for a trial last night and am choosing not to enroll her. I wanted to take a moment to explain why, though, and please understand that this comes from a place of love and respect as I have an extensive background in gymnastics, coaching, and managing. I will start by saying my daughter loved her class and the recreational portion was fine. The coach she had did really well and seemed happy to be coaching, engaged with the kids in the class, etc. My concern is with team and some things I witnessed going on while we were there. It is my opinion that team sets the tone for the gym. The girls and their attitudes and behaviors create a culture in the gym that the younger kids in rec look up to and hopefully grow into if they love the sport and want to continue into team. While the coaches who were present had smiles on and spotted, gave corrections, etc, during the time they were on floor working on tumbling passes the girls were throwing pieces equipment in the air, running across the floor in the middle of other girls trying to take their turns, climbing all over the mats, one girl was laying on the large cheese mat in such a way that it was bending funny over the mat at the end of the tumble track (doing stuff like that with mats will damage them and cause them to break down a lot faster), multiple girls were on their phones during practice (while waiting in line for turns on floor, not during break time) and digging in their bags for chips, candy, and cookies, climbing over the barrier wall instead of walking around it, etc. There were also a few girls who were causing issues with each other and trying to get one particular girl in trouble. Going into gymnastics and finding a place for my daughter, those things really matter to me because it shows me my daughters future in that gym. Here, there just seemed to be quite a bit of disorganization and chaos. I would love to keep her in the class she tried because she did enjoy it, I’m just not convinced that what I saw from team is what I want my daughter growing into. I do understand it’s not a JO team, it’s Xcel which is less intense, but none of the above should be happening on any gym team in my opinion. I’m not sure that these concerns are a consistent issue or not but I felt compelled to share my perspective as someone with background in the sport. I wish this gym the best and hope my experience last night is not the norm.

Edit
After years and I mean years with GymStars my daughter had a devastating injury at a meet. She blew out her knee and needed two surgeries to fix it all and can’t compete for over one year. I understand that it happens but her coach nor team came to support her ever and that when my daughter cried herself to sleep every night I asked if she wanted to move gyms? She stated that she didn’t know but we tried out at another gym while still healing so not allowed to do anything but strength training upper body only. She was still going back and forth but when Andrea found out she was upset and kicked her off of anything team. We haven’t said anything to her because my daughter hadn’t made up her mind because she was waiting for her coach to even try to love her. She wasn’t giving up on them but they gave up on her. The experience has had her make the devastating decision to quit the one thing she has loved! She told me that Gymstars has ruined her life. She actually stated “it doesn’t matter, I never was enough in Andreas eyes!” “Everyone else was better than me anyways and Andrea only liked the older girls!” She did nothing about bullying and told jazzy to just be friends with them! She is always late and spends less time with the girls. Maybe she should get some real coaches that don’t quit or get fired monthly.
We love Andrea and all of Gymstars! My daughter is on Team, and it has been fun and exciting for my daughter! Andrea is very helpful with explaining everything in detail to me. I am greatful for Gymstars! Andrea has shown my kiddo her full potential! She does tricks all the time that just blow my mind. All of the girls are like best friends, and they are super supportive of each other!! Andrea is an amazing coach!

This review is not intended to bad mouth Gyn Stars but rather to portray our experience for the past 6 years. My daughter started at Gym Stars back in the summer of 2016. We originally signed her up for one of their weekly gymnastics classes. After a few months she was invited to try out for team where she was asked to be on their bronze team following tryouts. She spent one year in Bronze, two in Silver, and now she is on her second year in Gold. The past two years have been where we have encountered the most issues.
Evolving door of coaches: there is no consistency (besides the one or two coaches who have been there to teach the excel teams).
Inconsistent schedule and lack of available days for practices when you have two working parents in the household.
Extreme increases in tuition with short notice.
Owner hardly available to discuss child’s progress, things she can work on whether it be at practice (if she is even there) and at meets.
Lack of communication has also been a challenge. When told that there would be a schedule change at a team meeting and when asked a question about what working parents were suppose to do; I got yelled at for asking the question.
The owner of this gym in my opinion has bitten off more than she can chew. When I drop/pick up my gymnast and there are friends of people who work there sitting at the front desk and the workers are paying more attention to their friend than the gymnast and or a non team class is taking up a majority of the gym making the team girls wait to practice on a certain apparatus, or leaving a gymnast on the floor alone at state leaving her to fend for herself I find it is time to move on. I wish the best for Gym Stars and only hope that the owner can realize these issues and try to better serve the customer.

I can't thank Gym Stars enough! I was beginning to loose hope, and slowly a bit of my Wildchild's spirit to another local Boise gym, but I am happy to say she is back, and tumbling about more than ever!
The drama free environment you guys create is more than refreshing in the gymnastics community! My girl shows up and leaves with a smile, every single class. I have yet to see anything other than encouragement on the floor!
The instructors are personable and fun and really seem to keep her engaged. I couldn't be happier with the new set of skills she is taking home from each class. Her flexibility and dedication have improved ten fold. In three months! Compared to a full year elsewhere. Thank you thank you thank you!
I would also like to thank you for making the time we spend at gym stars affordable on me. Not only do I feel like my little girl is getting the best, but I can easily fit her classes into my budget. Affordable for me without impacting the skill level of training she is receiving, truly thank you.
We both look forward to her class this week and many more to come! Thank you so much! :)

If you're looking to get your kids into gymnastics, this is the place to be.
Our four daughters (3, 6, 7, 9) went from, "What's a cartwheel?" to speaking fluent gymnast in a few weeks. They absolutely love it here and would go five days a week if possible.
We've been coming for months. I haven't met the owner. Riley and the coaching staff are awesome, though! Front desk management always has this huge, welcoming smile on her face and greets each and every parent and kid coming through the door.
The coaches' teaching styles vary - my girls have had the opportunity to learn from several different coaches, each with their own styles and skill sets. Although different, each is awesome and extremely patient (even with the 4-6 year olds!).
The facility is great. It's hidden back in the executive center, so the traffic isn't too bad during the evening classes. There's also a pretty awesome coffee shop across the street (walking distance) that makes real fruit smoothies - relatively healthy way to treat your kids after working out for an hour.
The prices are just right. We started with a Groupon that was priced perfectly to get us in the door. Once we "just tried it," we were hooked. My girls were literally reading after school upside down on their heads.
My girls are stronger after a few months. More importantly, their confidence in their abilities has sky rocketed.
*My* personal favorite part about Gym Stars is their monthly Parent's Night Out. For A VERY reasonable price - cheaper than a babysitter - we drop the girls off at 530 on Saturday night and pick them up at 930.
It's my understanding Parent's Night Out consists of open gym, games, pizza, popcorn, and movies. I've also associated PNO with the opportunity to take my wife out on dates.
A+ place! Call ahead to see if they're still offering one *FREE* class for you to just try.

We love Gymstars! Andrea and Natalie have shown my daughter her true potential and got her to push herself past her fears and doubt. She was in another gym for a year and she started to dislike it a lot because she felt she wasn't being challenged and here they challenge her everyday. And she loves it so much! She is now on team and she is so excited to be here with her team and teachers every class. They strive for kids to have fun and to also be their best and work hard. We definitely recommend Gymstars to anyone and everyone of all ages to come check it out!

I signed my son up to have a new experience, and he loved it. But when I went to pick him up the teacher decided that she needed to tell me, in front of at least 20 moms, that my son was being a disruption because he was more “playing” than training to be a gymnast. I didn’t realize how strict they were, especially watching other kids “play” and actually have a smile on their face. I felt embarrassed with how unprofessional she was when talking to me. So, if reviewing based on how my son and I were treated, I’d give No stars.

We recently relocated from Southern California. I found this gym on Instagram and my 8 year old daughter attended an open gym. My daughter immediately loved it. After loving the open gym experience she was able to take 1 free class. Again, it was awesome. She has learned so much in the last 6 months. We came to Gym Stars because it was affordable and very personable; we'd been at another local gym for several years and our daughter didn't seem to be progressing. We've stayed for two years because Andrea and her team have continued to impress us, and we love the way the team girls support one another in all their gym goals. We used the Summer Camp this summer, and intend on using it again. Love this Gym, it comes highly recommended by our family!
