The gym was remodeled a few months ago, bringing in many more machines for weightlifting and cardio. It's quite busy around 4-5pm as people get off of work during those hours. At around 3pm there are many high-school kids that workout here, (including me). Yes we workout in groups, however if you'll ask a question then you'll know how many sets we have left, people usually hurry up when they know someone is waiting for the machine they're using. No, we can't read your mind on what machine you need.

The phone "problem" isn't really an issue once you ask someone to use their machine. People are usually on their phones when they're doing their rests between sets.

The gym is clean as the staff members clean everything before they leave for the night, (this is a 24 hour gym).

There's no group fitness, not a problem as I do not need that.

The staff team and the manager are very nice. This is a great gym.

Really like this gym, especially the new added equipment. With the exception of the few people constantly sitting on a bench texting, no concerns from me. I was curious if it would be possible to get heavier dumbbells, say up to 150. Thanks.

The equipment often needs repair. Some equipment has broken parts that they say won’t be replaced. The ab machine makes such a loud squeaking sound that it makes it near unbearable to use it with it blasting in your ears. Other equipment has loose bolts that need to be tightened. Just very poor maintenance.

The other issue is a lack of a cell phone policy for the weight machine area. Couple that with the highschool kids doubling, tripling, and quadrupling up on one machine and you have waiting times that just become ridiculous. Since there is no cell phone policy, the high school kids and even adults just sit on a machine and look at their iPhones (or start using other equipment while they wait for their friends to get dome with their sets.

I can get three sets on least three different machines before these clowns figure out that someone might be waiting for the machine they’re on. It’s like they’re taking their morning dump while looking at their phones sitting on the toilet. This organization doesn’t give a damn about this and neither does the staff.

The staff are the only good thing about this location. There are way too many people here, all the time. Often most of their machines are broken. Theres no phone policy so people sit on their phones hogging equipment. Pad and weights are worn and there are minimal machines that are two inches from each other. There’s location is also difficult to get to and there’s never enough parking. I am usually there around 4pm and it’s too packed - and when I go later machines are still broken and there’s not enough variety or space. Would not recommend.

This gym is overcrowded and the management doesn't care. There's a lot of wasted space upstairs. They don't care about their customers. Go find another gym that has better management.

Updated review - went to cancel and had some challenges doing so, but management got involved and resolved my concerns - appreciated the good customer service!

The employees here are awesome. Rarely see them sitting around. Constantly cleaning machines, bathrooms, water fountains, etc. good amount of cardio machines. only wished there were more weight machines and it would be the perfect gym.

Good facility, my only complaint is it can be pretty crowded. Have a hard time getting a bench at times.

Update 12/2023: it’s getting to the point with overcrowding that I think I will start looking elsewhere. In the evening it is full of high schoolers getting ready for Fight Club.

It's kind of small and lacking equipment and it's pretty busy with highschool kids as well... But it's 24/7 and it has the necessities.

Update after working out here for 3 months.
It doesn't have a hack squat.... And the machines stay "broken" for months at a time, as I'm typing this there are 3 treadmills, leg press machine, chest press machine, and a cable machine broken. And they've been broken for 3+ weeks. For a busy gym this takes a lot from the users. You'd think they get fixed within a week like other gyms. Other than that it's kind of small but has pretty much everything you need to get a good workout in, but still needs a lot of equipment to be a top tier gym. Crunch meridian was definitely better but this is much closer to me so I rather come here.

Very well put together gym. I started coming this week and only go at night time. One thing I’d like is when I’m doing treadmill for the lights to not suddenly turn off lol. Other than that it still is 5 stars and I will continue to come at night no matter the situation!

I love the facility's physical structures and machines. There was a 30$ charges from the bank plus the $10 fine from IFF for guest policy because the charge was unexpected. I would have been okay with the fine, but send an email first...

Edit: 24hrs after.. Tracy reached out to me and rectified the situation, she was amazing and they said that they would do everything to assist in a more transparent process! Thank you so much!

I've been a member of IFF since they only had one location, since they've grown it seems like the customer service and staff has really taken a hit. They used to be great, not so much anymore. Tenly (I believe is her name) was extremely rude and disrespectful. Your employees are the face of your company, I would hope they could do better.

I am editing this after attending the gym for about 6 months. The more and more I come, the more I realize that if you’re past the age of 25, you’re not going to enjoy this gym. Remember how some guys went through that cringey high school gym stage? Basically imagine this 24/7 here. I’m currently sitting in the parking lot recollecting how I just witnessed about 5 different people (not together might I add) punching the air for literally no reason in the middle of the free weight area. Then there’s another two guys shadow boxing eachother near the bench seats… I just don’t get how there is so little self awareness here. Like, why do I have to wait for you to finish role playing Jackie Chan just to get some dumbbells? It’s SUPER funny and distracting to watch random dudes blatantly ask for attention. It’s like someone talked about fight club and accidentally gave the wrong address.

Joined this gym recently online. For those who do it this way, you can only go between certain hours to get your key card. I enjoy the fact, the doors are locked outside of staffed hours to keep non-members out. I've read comments about how small this facility is and overcrowded....not enough equipment etc. Here's the thing - the membership is extremely affordable. The YMCA offers posh accommodations but you're also going to pay the price. If you're looking for a time that's less busy, look online and it will show you exactly the day and the time when they experience high volume. My daughters and I truly enjoy being part of IFF.

I've been a member at IFF for 7 years now. I've exclusively been going to the Everest location. Just recently I made the move to this location because they have twice as many options for lifting and multiple of many machines/free weights etc. I wish they had a hack squat machine though, that would complete this place!

Nice and bright and new? Yes. But it's so overcrowded and small that I've ended up walking out twice. When you make the effort to be there at 5 in the morning it's generally because you don't want to fight people for machines. If there's a better gym in the area this isn't it.

Canceled group fitness out of nowhere. So many people join a gym purely for group fitness. Without any notice they canceled all group fitness. Lack of consideration for members and instructors is completely disappointing. Already lacking in child care and employees being present almost never, this gym needs help. ✌🏼👋🏼 peace out IFF.

Love the gym upstairs for classes. I go to U-Jam with Claire. We can play the music super loud and don’t feel like others are watching in like at other gyms. Love the set up. Love the class!

As far as gyms go, I think IFF has the best value in town. I sometimes wish they offered things like a sauna or steam room. But I do appreciate that it is clean, not typically overcrowded and they care about the equipment being in good working order and effective machines to work the body. Plenty of free weights as well.
I can say I have had nothing but good interactions with the staff who are helpful and friendly. And I really enjoy this new location with its cool hand free hand washing station at the front door. Looking forward to the growth as they are adding and updating with it. Thanks IFF for being a great gym.

The owner of this gym is about four feet tall and extremely aggressive. My wife and I were checking out the facility and he was very hostile and was yelling at my wife and tried to fight me after pulling him out of my wife’s face. Not cool Corey.

A really good, standard, gym. If you want extras like a pool and sports courts, this is not the place. But if you want a clean (very clean), safe place to come anytime of day and night to do cardio, free weights or circuit machines, you can't beat Idaho Fitness Factory. They do offer some classes, showers, tanning and a few other extras.

Awesome staff, clean space, tense free atmosphere - even with all the guys lol. Live in Middleton/Star, but have made this one my home gym. Big spaces to work around in, which is good cuz I like my personal space without feeling crowded
