Nice facility with clean locker rooms, but the reception staff is some of the worst customer I have experienced in burley.
They lack customer service almost everytime I go in.
The staff if very unknowledgeable when calling asking questions about the facility and policies. Also when you are a member there are supposed to be small perks and somehow I end up paying for these extra things all the time. I took my child and the receptionist didn’t know what the charge was and when asked the about policy on the child’s age it seemed like a gray area by the way he explained it to me and they still charged me for my child under 2 years old. I also once called in about the policy for guest passes with my membership and was getting the run around, I asked to speak to a manager and when she got on the phone she was very rude.
The customer service needs a lot of work and it could become very desirable. I also wish there was a wash room closer to the swim area instead of having to walk all the way to the locker rooms getting everything wet.

I've been hitting up impact for about a year now, and I gotta say, it's been a game-changer. The variety of equipment is solid – whether you're into heavy lifting, cardio, or even just stretching, they've got you covered. Plus, they keep everything super clean, which is a big win in my book.

What really sets impacr apart, though, is the community vibe. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I've met some cool people there who keep me motivated. They offer a bunch of different classes too, from HIIT to yoga, so there's always something new to try.

I have been attending workouts at impact for the last -2 years. The instructors are bar none the most amazing teachers around. Brielle, Holly, Tori and Joann are exceptional. The morning 815 class has been my absolute favorite!! The front desk is always so welcoming and cheerful when we check in. I love my mornings at impact!!!

(Current member) Severely outdated gym, and poorly managed. Tons of potential, but continues to lose many members to new gyms like Factory that are forward-thinking, and focused on member satisfaction. Sadly, on top of this, the gym has the naive view that they are under-charging (see point below on current vs future options- compare to Golds, World, Fit One, etc for price vs quality).

Lockers were super low quality to begin with and poorly maintained (broken hinges, locking mechanisms, etc), the pool is visibly falling apart. Daycare hours function only for stay-at-home parents (very limited hours, nothing on weekends). No guest pass benefits for members. Expect to see a lot of super mismatched / patched together equipment that stays broken for months (see photo from end of June)

For being poorly managed, the amenities overall, though poorly maintained, are more than what you can find at other area gyms…for now (only reason I’ve stayed) - but that selling point will inevitably diminish as more, and larger gyms come to the area in the not so distant future.

First Things First, they delete reviews. One of my friends Amanda left a negative review and explained why and they had her post taken down. Keep in mind, the front desk and Omar too have been awesome. Membership is hypocritical. They have allowed people that I know to cancel their membership early without a fee, but after having someone close to me work there for a year, I asked if it could be cancelled without a fee but it was declined. When I mentioned to membership that I knew of people who had got away with it, they stopped responding. It’s an all around gym yes, but don’t expect any favors no matter how long you’re there. It’s a money first gym and they won’t help you unless you’re in the inner circle. I hope this helps to people looking for a membership.

A lot of amenities, the only downs I have about it is the hours of operation and overly pact you always waiting on someone to use the equipment you want to use, and it can feel very intimidating to new customers i took my son there for the first time today and couldn't finish our workout because of having to wait on equipment to be available, but they do have very nice updated equipment, the staff there are extremely friendly, the membership is fair for all that they offer all in all actuality very beautiful place to get fit

Stopped in to inquire about membership, I wanted to tour the place first. Guy at the counter stated they don’t do tours, and I can’t go walk around to check it out. I asked if there was anyone else there that I can talk to, answer was no. Due to the amount of bad reviews, I really wanted to see the equipment and areas ( many stated it is out dated and has a lot of broken equipment). The feeling I got is he didn’t care either way, prob just a poorly trained hourly employee. Gave no other options. As with many other reviews- the place doesn’t seem to want the business. I will go elsewhere.

Not great! Waist of money. The contract has somany loop holes that alows them to take your money. Half the stuff is broken or classes are cancled. The day care is closed. Most of the emails I get from them its about canceling classes or things not available to be used. The communication between everyone who works there is nonexistent. Silver sneakers, Tivity health; not user friendly.
I would be happy to adjust my rating if they train the front desk staff to set up silver sneakers and Tivity. Most gyms take my membership card information, have me sign the liability waiver, and let me work out. Even better, several gyms have tivity tablet for scanning. It makes the whole process automated.
Overall a great staff , they just need an efficient procedure and trained in that procedure.
I have been to this gym before and I like the equipment, setup, and atmosphere.

I really like this facility, however I get a little frustrated when people spend more time on their phones than they do actually using the machine. It is just very inconsiderate behavior. People keep putting oil soaked towels over the sauna rooms spout. The owners keep telling me they will do something about it but every day there are more and more oil soaked rags!! This has been going on for months!! I have lung problems which is why I go to the steam room but when there are all sorts of oils in the air it becomes unusable for me. The gym needs to get a handle on this. Put up notices or monitor the room every now and again!!!!!!!

Just moved to the area a couple months ago and was hesitant to get a gym membership again, as I've had many bad experiences. This facility is so accessible to all people, and the staff is amazing. I've been taking some classes, and the regular yoga class with the instructor Kendra is by far the best I've ever taken. I feel that I am able to make the modifications for myself and my injuries without any judgement and I leave feeling refreshed!

If you are looking for a water aerobics work out, this is not the place for you. My husband and I joined in July 2021, we quit in the middle of September 2021. We canceled our membership due to lack of maintenance of facility equipment. All maintenance appears to be reactionary as opposed to proactive. Since we joined in July the pool has been down twice for a week at a time, and the hot tub was down for two weeks. When you are paying $80 a month for membership dues, I think you have the right to expect more out of a health club.

Anything broken takes weeks possibly months to fix. The filters on the water fountain only gets clean when the light goes to red instead of orange when its clean its a green light. They recently replaced the workout equip. I dont know why but it seriously downgraded their weight room they dont even have incline bench presses anymore along with other important machines for certain muscles.

I’ve visited a couple times with friends in Burley and the staff has not been helpful at all. Really stingy with money. I guess, a guest pass wasn’t valid for us for some reason, and an older gentleman over heard the conversation and volunteered for us to use his 4 guest passes but Daisy wouldn’t let us.? We asked multiple times for what the policies are and she was no help so two of our friends ended up just paying while we left the guest passes and walked in. Not worth the money the facility is mediocre. It would be better to buy an exercise bike and save the money. The staff are nice but not very easy to work with. Be careful signing up for a membership they'll get you for everything you're worth. There are gyms out there that do not make you sign contracts I would recommend them. This gym has a wide variety of equipment that can accommodate most workout styles, including swimming which is a major plus. The reason I gave them a 4 star though is because of their live classes schedule. Especially their early morning classes are focused and limited in the type of exercisers they attract. They do offer on demand virtual classes, but for me that’s not a motivation to go to the gym because I can do a workout video from home.

I felt more like I was being hounded by an employee who did not identify himself as an employee. Someone needs to open a jym with covered pool but with nice employees who respect the members. I felt like I was being policed I only joined this jym 3 days ago.

Best gym! They have everything you need. strength machines, free weights, cables, cardio, tanning, basketball court, sauna, steam room, pool, heavy bag, classes (virtual ones too) & smoothies. Everyone has been really kind & accepting.

Only gym around that has a covered pool and child care, but they are a little pricey. I love the classes. They are updating the facility regularly, which is nice.
