I hope the new owner doesn't take away the tennis courts and replace with pickle ball. I love traveling to Boise and hitting with great people at Eagle

I've been a member of the Eagle Tennis Club before and some of my kids have taken lessons here too. I couldn't be more impressed with everything they offer. The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained courts that are always in great condition. Whether you're playing singles or doubles, the courts provide a fantastic playing experience.
The staff at Eagle Tennis Club are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. From scheduling court times to providing tips on improving your game, they really go above and beyond to ensure members have a great experience.
The atmosphere at the club is wonderful. It's a welcoming environment where tennis enthusiasts of all skill levels can come together and enjoy the sport. There's a real sense of community here, which makes every visit enjoyable.
I'm particularly excited about the upcoming stage 2 of their complex. It's clear that Eagle Tennis Club is committed to continuously improving and expanding their offerings, which is fantastic news for all members. I can't wait to see what they have in store!
Overall, Eagle Tennis Club is a fantastic place for anyone who loves tennis. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, you'll find everything you need here to enjoy the game. I highly recommend it!

I love ETC. Why?
Easy to make friends and play others of different levels.
Enjoy watching matches from the elevated viewing area above the courts.
My body and feet feel balanced on the hard-court surfaces.
Donβt ever have to worry about hot and cold weather - inside courts.
Can freshen up with a warm shower in the ladies lounge and then join friends in the clubhouse for a glass of wine. Great finish to a perfect day (or night)!

For pickleball, it costs $20 for a 2 hour session. Not very price competitive, IMHO. Facilities are basically adequate.

ETC personel are very friendly, courts are nice, however, lighting is bad and on hot days, it's really cooler outside than inside. My suggestion would be to get more lights and throw the home Depot residential ceiling fans away and get something that's made for the facility. Having 3 home ceiling fans cooling 6 courts isn't sufficient.

My daughter has been taking tennis lessons here for over 6 months and it has been a wonderful experience for her. She has grown so much emotionally and physically since training there. Her confidence in herself has improved and she has come out of her shell. The coaches are so influencial and make her feel seen and cared for. We are so thankful for eagle tennis club.

I've been a member at ETC for two years now and am so very glad I joined. The ETC team (from membership services (shout out Cindy!) to the pro shop/reservation staff (yay Jeff and all!) to the teaching pros (high fives to Michael and all!), the ETC team provides wonderfully professional, day in and day out, assistance and support. Cheers!

My son took group lessons 2 days a week for a month, he was in the 12+ age group sessions. I stayed and observed the classes and was completely disgusted with the "coaches". There were 4 of them and apparently they had a lot to discuss, just not with the kids. They all stood at the back of the courts and talked amongst themselves. If I were to say they instructed for 10 minutes out of the hour and a half lesson I would be exaggerating on the amount of instruction the kids received. I rarely review anything but I am so disappointed in this experience I had to put this out there. Hopefully ETC will take a hint and not waste other peoples money.

I Attended an intermediate class, which says βall levels welcomeβ it should say something like βbeginners not welcome.β Colin, the instructor, made many rude remarks, and I have no intention of ever going into the club again.
This βClubβ is designed for retirees, and stay at home mothers. It does not cater to young professionals who have a full time job, as almost all classes offered are during work hours.

The ONLY top end Tennis club in the Boise metro area (Eagle suburb).
Much cleaner and newer than other competitor clubs, and fully climate controlled indoor courts.
Just wish they would add the phase 2 amenities (spa, indoor track, real exercise room) they have teased as coming soon for years...

I was there for the high school state tournament when it rained. Hence all the schools and supporters were there to pack the place giving it such a good atmosphere.
All the courts were full one side with the high school matches while the other side had junior lessons going on. So much fun activity.
I don't play there so I cannot comment on how it is during regular business hours.

Wow what a nice, new facility! I came to check out a friends tourney, a full on pickle ball death match, and snapped most photos from the view above. I'm not sure balcony is the right word, but the facility has a unique vantage point which spans the entire length of the tennis courts. Looks like a great place to meet up for some indoor tennis!

They just started offering a winterPickleball membership....its the best value in the treasure valley they have as many as 10 courts going on at one time with court reservations available and drop in play. It keeps getting better. Lots of new members of all levels. They even have a new pro Suzanna Barr who has won national titles.

The facility is fantastic and I'm really happy to have an indoor tennis facility so close to home. I've been a member for several weeks and wanted to give my honest review.
There are almost always courts available, which is nice. Also, the staff has always been courteous and helpful. HOWEVER, they have a couple policies that are having a negative impact on my experience.
When I went in last week, the worker at the desk (who is always very friendly and polite) told me that I can't use a hopper, and I can only have six tennis balls on a court.
They SAID this is for "safety reasons" so people don't trip on balls, but they are fine with their pros teaching private lessons having HUNDREDS of balls on the court. They are also fine having lots of balls on the court if you pay extra to rent their ball machines. So "safety reasons" is CLEARLY NOT a valid reason for this policy. Obviously, it's no safer to have hundreds of balls on the court just because you paid for a ball machine or paid to have a private lesson.
This policy makes it very difficult to get in my practice. How are you supposed to practice your serve with only six balls? Hit six shots, walk to the other side of the court and pick them all up, then hit six more? I only get in a small percentage of the number of repetitions because of this policy.
Also, they do not allow ball hoppers at all. IF this actually were about safety, then a simple an inexpensive solution would be to provide their approved "shopping cart" type hoppers for members to dump their bucket of balls into while they play. Or, just make a rule that the hoppers need to stay on the side by the benches as you play, so it isn't tripped on.
Their hours are pretty good. I like that they are open late. I would love to see them eventually open earlier so I can play before work, but I know it's a growing facility and they'll probably be able to do that down the line.
I really do love ETC and I LOVE being able to play. I just really wish they would change the six balls policy. I don't feel like I can get in the practice that I'd like to anymore.
I would HAPPILY give this place 5 stars if I could just simply bring a bucket of balls and practice tennis like almost ANY tennis player would.
The courts are pristine, it's close to home, the staff is courteous, they have courts available every time I want to play, and they've done a good job implementing their temporary buildings to make a full-featured facility as they grow. I LOVE ETC and just hope they will please reconsider this policy.

ETC is a great new tennis club with 12 indoor, climate-controlled courts and a fitness center. They will be adding 10-11 outdoor courts Spring 2017 and a swimming pool and basketball courts on later phases. They will hosting tournaments for Boise State University.
