Mission Strength is awesome! I highly recommend the coaches at Mission Strength to help you on your journey to health and well being. I’ve been a life-long exerciser, including 10 years of yoga, but the functional fitness, especially the whole-body weightlifting, changed my body faster than anything else ever has. In two months, the belly fat, which somehow appeared on my body the last couple of years, melted away! Although I mostly worked with Meg, all the coaches are wonderful. If you’re unsure if functional fitness is for you, try the free intro consultation with Pat. And, if you get to have Meg as your coach, be sure to look at her eyes as they are the most beautiful color in the world 😉!

I absolutely love Mission Strength! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with a smile. The classes offered cater to all fitness levels, and the trainers are motivating and genuinely invested in your progress. The workouts are scalable to meet individual ability/fitness levels, so there is no need for self doubt or excuse- you can do it!! The atmosphere is energetic yet welcoming, making it easy for me to stay motivated! Highly recommend to anyone looking to achieve their health goals, in a supportive environment!

Mission Strength is my FAVORITE gym in Moscow! I did some CrossFit before moving to Moscow. Moving to Moscow, I did a mix of other gyms in town (classes and free form) and my own garage gym. I love Mission Strength because of their versatile class schedule which is easily scaleable that helps you grow in functional fitness while growing in strength. I encourage everyone I meet, including a lot of people in the business I owe, to join Mission Strength. The community / camaraderie focus without have the ego / machismo of most gym is awesome! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Mission Strength nearly every day since January, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful—they make every lift and movement approachable, and I’ve never felt weird or embarrassed asking questions.
I’ve only been exercising for about a year, and after the first six months, I started losing steam. I struggled with motivation, variety in my routine, and didn’t love waiting for equipment. If the gym was too crowded, I just wouldn’t go. That all changed when I joined Mission Strength.
I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first—I thought it might be one of those gyms that feels super cliquey or intimidating. But from day one, it’s been the exact opposite. Everyone’s welcoming, supportive, and genuinely rooting for each other.
Since switching, my lifts are climbing, my body composition is improving, and I get to be part of a team every single day. Rain or shine, everyone is working toward their goals together, and that energy is incredibly encouraging. Being able to show up and trust that the workout is balanced and full of variety each week is such a blessing.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned gym rat or you have never seen a dumbbell—we’re all the same here. You can get all the feedback and guidance you need/want, or you can just show up and get to work. No pressure, no ego, just progress. Huge shoutout to Pat and the entire Mission Strength team! They create a comfortable yet engaging environment while answering every question with expertise and care. I’m so grateful to be part of this community!

Mission Strength is an excellent gym: good coaching, positive atmosphere, plenty of equipment options. You just show up for the hour, and they have the day's warmup and workout ready to go (along with a suggested range of modifications) so that you will have a solid workout regardless of your fitness level. Their workout programming ensures that all muscle groups get covered so that you can join often/daily, and trust that your fitness is going to develop in a balanced, healthy way, with plenty of core strength, good muscle building, and cardio development.

I am encouraged by this gym in many ways: 1) the coaches and the owner pay personal attention to your success and are very supportive of your goals 2) the gym is nice, has all the comforts of a good gym and accommodates modifications 3) the workouts are challenging and stimulating, yet easy to learn and 4) the people I have met so far are nice and accepting. This is the best gym I’ve ever used. I have never loved going to the gym simply for the sake of going to the gym, but this model provides accountability, technical coaching, and forces you to push beyond what you think you can do. This is the best workout facility I've ever set foot in. There are a handful of reasons for this. First, the equipment is top notch and the gym is in a prime location. But also:

Pat (the owner/coach) structures each workout in a way to push the limits of ANY strength level. If you've never set foot in a gym, this is the place for you. If you've been working out for 25 years, this is the place for you. Pat works incredibly well with past injuries and is able to tailor all the workouts to your level.

This gym is well equipped, has a great owner/head coach, and the community is great!

I want to encourage any of you who might be hesitant to come and try this gym out. The workouts are class based and designed to help you function in everyday life. There is a well balanced strength and fitness emphasis in the programming. All of the members are encouraging and seek to help each other improve in their overall fitness.
Here's the deal, I do not like to work out, and I do not like to work out by myself, but I do like to work out in a group setting where I am challenged to push harder and encouraged when I am really struggling.
I am not very good at most things we do in the gym, but I am improving on a daily basis. Pat, the head coach, is always willing to help me scale the particular exercise to my abilities. The other gym members do not judge me, but encourage me to push hard. I had to decide to leave my pride at the door and get to work!

The workouts are designed to make me an all-round athletic, strong person, rather than to simply make me look cut. My workout philosophy is that if I strive to do my duty, the good looks will come as a side effect. Mission Strength shares that philosophy.

Pat Darrah, the owner and coach, trains Navy Seals. That's pretty much all you need to know about his quality and experience. He is super warm and encouraging in his teaching style while also pushing people hard when he needs to! He has built a challenging and fun gym culture here and I'm thankful to be a part of it.
