Ok, so I haven't officially joined - but I took a tour yesterday and have to say this place is a LEGIT. Everything is super clean - from weight/exercise rooms to locker room - all sparkling (I was previously a member of Crunch and it was filthy and disgusting).
Their class offering leaves little to be desired. I'm excited to try their TRX, POD and Ignite classes. The spin room has a lot of bikes, but don't seem too close together.
I also have worked out at other local places where you can only attend a certain number of classes per month (i.e. 8 HIIT for $100/mo and no weight room, spin or yoga). Pivot offers membership which includes fully loaded weight room with treadmills plus UNLIMITED classes for $64/mo.
One thing to note is parking. Busy intersection and the parking garage is free only for the first hour. This wont' actually deter me, and I'm super excited to join.

This gym is small, clean, and welcoming, perfect if you just want some weights and machines in a place that isn't at home. Everything is well maintained and the staff are all kind and helpful.

Signed up for a $25 single club no classes membership. Pretty fair price for a small gym. Weight room floor is small but the aux room helps spread people out. Recently they raised the membership rate by 20%. I know that is just 5 bucks but a 20% hike is wild high. Not only that but they added classes in the functional room so you actually lose some services. That room is closed if it's not staffed as well. Mind you this gym is a double badge in club. I had to buy an extra key tag to get in the front door and then you also have to scan in the front. It has cameras through out the club so they could leave that room open for members but choose not to because of a list of excuses.
I've worked for gyms in the past for 10 years. This one is ran below average. Some staff is fine while others barely pay attention. Floors are lazily mopped with dirty water marks all over it, bolts rattling out of the free weight benches, machines have dirt/grime on them from not being deep cleaned, air vents are caked with dust, and there is no room to stretch.
Had no issue with these things until you raised the rate. Can't raise rates and provide low or the same quality.
Many locally owned gyms near by would be a better bang for your buck.
P.s they are month to month but if you cancel there is a $39 fee.

Super frustrated with Pivot. I work across the street and signed up in December 2023. At the time the charge was $24 a month, which was reasonable based on my anticipated usage. The next month the charges were doubled on me to $48. When I called to cancel the membership they also charged me with a $40 cancellation fee and wouldn’t waive it because it was their “policy” and in the contract I “signed”. I asked them for where in the contract it was said my price would be doubled and of course I got the run around about how they had to increase prices for rising costs… which I get to an extent but doubled and then charging me to cancel?? Very ridiculous. I will not be recommending this gym to anyone which is super unfortunate because it is very convenient being across the street from work.

Great classes. I’ve never had a bad instructor, but Helen is really good. Her classes are always challenging and she modifies the planned workouts as needed to make them flow better or provide a better overall workout. Super talented.
Free workout space is small but has what you need to get a quick workout in. Facility is clean.

The cycling class time are awful. They also gave up most nighttime cycling classes to outside groups. So you they cut out there own members and unless you’re in one of these outside cycling groups you can’t even be in the cycling class. Total slap in the face to paying members. Pathetic as she is an ex pro cyclist and cares more about outside groups than her own paying members.

This gym is harboring an unsafe environment for members and employees alike. His name is Frank: old, gray, skinny, glasses. He takes POD and Ignite classes. And he is verbally abusive and violent to anyone he pleases. And management and even the owner Kristen Armstrong are happy to defend him by blaming his generation, and they most certainly are choosing his abuse over the safety and enjoyment of all. I personally witnessed him take a running leap into the POD teacher’s face during class, to curse him out at the top of his lungs, because he couldn’t hear over the music. And when I told him that was mean and he was ruining my experience, then he got in my face and told me off too. Then when we reported it, other teachers and members said he had brought them to tears on many occasions, as well. Management wanted nothing to do with the thought of letting him go. It is such a shame to have this kind of experience in Boise, which is such a wonderful and kind city. In my 25 years of working in and belonging to gyms, I have never seen anything like this kind of abuse or violence in what is supposed to be a healthy and encouraging space. And even when I did see complaints, management always stood up for their employees, who are most certainly working hard to give members a great experience. Do yourself a favor and run for the hills.

Free weight section is incredibly crowded. You can only reliably workout during the late evenings. It was fine last year, but it is hard to get a workout in now. If you're just getting the standard membership, there are better places to spend $50 a month.

Pivot is one of Boise’s hidden gems. They have great facilities, a ton of class offerings and are open 24/7. The gym itself is really well located, clean, light and airy.

It's a small, boutique gym with two locations (downtown Boise and 10 Mile off the 55 Highway). I absolutely loved it when it was free through SelectHealth Insurance. Since I switched insurance after getting married, I realized how expensive it was for the lack of amenities. Given the quality of classes and location, I may come back. The classes are amazing, taught by experienced fitness instructors for the most part. I do always question when fitness instructors/trainers are not fit though. There was only one out of the 5 or so different class instructors.

Great facility and very affordable compared to other gyms of this quality. My only complaint is that I wish they’d offer more/later evening classes. I’m home with my daughter and can’t really leave until after my husband gets home from work, which makes swinging dinner and getting to the single 6 o’clock class difficult. Otherwise great gym and I’d recommend it.

During the holidays when I visited my parents for Christmas and New Year's, Pivot was kind enough to give a one-week free trial of their gym.
The section where you can work out on your own has everything you need:
-Treadmills
-Ellipticals
-Bikes
-Free Weights
-Machines
-Medicine balls
-Yoga Mats
-The thing you put the bar on for squatting and chest presses.
Kept very clean, wipes were always available, and their lockers were 4-digit coded as opposed to needing to bring your own lock.
Helen's class was excellent and for a first-timer like me she made sure I was doing the exercises correctly.

Small boutique gym, trainers and staff are nice. Lacks equipment if you're seriously in to weight training. Space limited unless you're part of a class at increased cost. This is for downtown location I've no insight into meridian location. Parking is also awful. For premium cost, wasn't worth it for me.

The first gym I’ve consistently gone to!
I’m the type to sign up for a membership and go once a month, but at pivot there are so many opportunities and classes! I love that when I can’t make a class I can apply what I learned in class in the open gym.
Very clean, and super nice staff!
If you are able, check out Angie Ks classes! She is amazing and makes you feel welcome, no matter your fitness abilities.
