The Planet Fitness in Twin Falls is pretty much what you’d expect from a typical gym. It tends to be busy, and like many gyms, it can get a bit stinky at times. The staff is generally nice and friendly, but they seemed a little limited in what they could do on their own. For almost every question or issue, they had to call the manager, which made simple tasks take longer than necessary.

Setting up an account is also a tedious process. They require auto-pay, and unfortunately, they don’t accept debit or credit cards, which can be frustrating for new members.

Overall, it’s a standard workout facility—functional and staffed with polite people, but nothing about it really stands out. On top of that, it’s not even open 24 hours, so if you were expecting the full Planet Fitness “anytime” experience, this location falls short.

Really wish this gym would have some cleaning supplies in the tanning booths as I find they are very dirty at this location. Bare minimum is being done to keep them clean.

As a former tanning salon employee in my youth and full time RV’er for 5 years. I have visited many planet fitness locations all over the United States. This location has no paper towels or garbage cans in their tanning rooms. They state that they wipe the rooms down in between use but that is not the case at all. (Attached photo) who wants to put their bare feet all over a sticky, dirty surface? Who wants to touch the door handles that are gummy and slimy? Not me.

The fitness section of the gym is pretty decent, it’s not a tiny planet fitness and it’s not a huge one.

During the summer they are allowing teens to come workout, this is causing a bit of a wait for dumbbell use, I find that the teens will grab 1-3 different set of weights and just hold onto them instead of using one set at a time and then getting a different set. I wish gym etiquette was discussed when allowing them to come in for the summer to use the gym.

The parking lot definitely needs a re pavement and lines re painted. Not much space for R.V. parking, though there is a Costco across the street if you come early enough you can park there before they open and use the gym.

Also, There is no standing hybrid tanning/red light therapy bed at this location.

In all I’d rate this gym a 6 out of 10, it gets the job done but it’s not a clean environment. As this is our home gym now, I wish it was better and more invested in for the communities use.

Staff, equipment, building, all incredible. This facility parking lot DESPERATELY NEEDS NEW LINES PAINTED. I am SO sick of not knowing if I'm in a spot or someone parking so close to me I can't get out. They've been worn away for over 2 years since I've been coming here. The two employees that work early mornings/ night shift I would assume are absolutely awful at their jobs. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. They don’t greet the members or even say anything at all to them whether it’s “ have a nice day” or “welcome in”. If you say anything to them they act like it’s a huge inconvenience to them that they have to take out their AirPods and look up from their phones. I have never in my life seen employees be so awful at their jobs. I feel like their attitudes and customer service go against everything planet fitness stands for. I feel like management should take a look at what their employees are doing, and I would hope they aren’t paying them to stand on their phones and swipe.

Shower Review: the showers at this planet fitness are separated changing stalls with the showers across the hall. The changing stalls have a stall door like the toilets do but the showers have a curtain. The water got hot quickly and was easy to adjust. The shower head was a bit low, fine for me at 5’8” but would be too low for my over 6’ girlies. I did like that the shelf in the shower had two levels and was fairly deep so everything didn’t keep falling off it as has happened at other planet fitnesses.

This location is busy but I was able to get on the machines I wanted. For some strange reason, to use the black card facilities you have to check in twice. Once on your own through a computer terminal and then again at the desk. It used to be you could just check in once at the desk. This is an inconvenience and a step backward.

It is a great place to go for a workout and a shower afterward. The staff of all guys are friendly and curtious. It's open Monday-Thursday 24 hours, Fridays 12:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Austen is the manager and Zach is assistant manager. Classic membership is $1 down $10 a month. PF Black Card Membership is $24.95 it gives you access to their tanning boothes, their massage chairs, their water tables that actually massage you with water, but you don't get wet.

On Saturday the 24th of August I walked in to the women's dressing room and a female staff member was finishing up cleaning the dressing room. I made a comment to her that it was nice to see someone cleaning the dressing room. She told me her name was Ashley (in case I wanted to post a review on Google). Yea for the Twin Falls Planet Fitness to hire females as well as their male staff members.

I was so excited to see a Planet Fitness in my hometown area!
Today is only the second time that I have been in the Planet Fitness in Twin Falls, I was here two weeks ago. I went in worked out & went to take a shower last time and the shower facility in the women's bathroom was filthy so when I finished I went and talked to the management on premises and he was like oh we'll get right on it. There were three guys standing at the front desk & he sent one in to clean it.
So, I went in today and the place is worse than it was 2 weeks ago. I have never seen so much hair in the showers in my life in any Planet Fitness and I've been to them all over the United States. The floors in general in the locker room were dirty. However, the showers and under the benches in the changing area the hair was EVERYWHERE. There is so much of it I don't know when the last time was that they swept and mopped it. It was just disgusting.
I hope they get something figured out maybe hire some women so that they're not worried about going in the women's locker room and cleaning. I don't know what they're going to do but this is just sad....

UPDATE: everything i said below is true, however the ownership of the gym cares more about bottom line revenue than working gym equipment. In what world does it take OVER one month to fix a stair machine? 1/6 machines has been “temporarily” out of order? Judging by the number of people i see at this gym, id venture to guess they’re bringing in about $100k/month top line revenue. Y’all can’t fix the machine and still stay afloat?

They welcome trucktrailer in their own parking at side of building but i advise not to go there with trailer as there is alot of traffic because costco shares the road and also to enter in planet fitness building there is not enough space to turn around your trucktrailer and also u can see plenty of space at backside of gym on fillmore st nd cyn fls dr but u can’t park there as it’s private property, you can do one thing as i did, i left my trailer at walmart which is about 1 mile far with lock on to air brakes at backside of walmart’s building then i took only bobtail to gym for workout, maybe it can be helpful to many truckers, thnxx

I love this gym and give 4/5 stars for most aspects. I've been regularly using this gym since they opened. The one thing they really need to work on, however, is the cleanliness in the bathrooms. They superficially clean daily, but it's not cutting it. Around the rim of the sinks, there is a ring of filth that gags me, the stall doors are black but have gross smudges and grime of who knows what, and at the wall by the hand dryers, there is grime and filth from constant drips and dust. I hate to complain and don't want to in person bc they are so nice, and I love my gym, but seriously, those bathrooms are gross.

The biggest negative is not 24 on the weekends, especially on Sunday, which closes at 7 and reopens at 12. Some are 24 hours, especially in places like Twin Falls, with less to do and more focused on the gym, which should be 24 hours. The competition is going to hurt them... if they want to make Fridays not be or something, but 3 days out of the week is a lot

Amazing Customer Service!!! Devon is always so kind to myself, my wife and my daughter. Tonight my daughter wanted to workout and I didn’t feel like it so I wanted to hang out in the black card area. I started in the Hybrid Tanning Booth. When I was done, Devon came up to me and asked if I wanted to hang out in a Massage Chair. After the Massage Chair, Devon asked if my daughter was really yet and I replied to him that she was not. Devon told me that the HydroMassage Beds were open and I could choose which one I wanted to enjoy while I waited.

Awe, I was treated like a King and I loved it! If you haven’t met Devon, I highly recommend going in and meeting him.

Planet fitness has been charging me for months and I’ve requested they cancel me multiple times. Today they whacked my card for $90 and I finally had enough. Equipment is clean and functional. Sometimes can work out when I'd like with the equipment I need.
Overcrowded during the evenings and early mornings so it's super difficult to get machines or even weights during those hours.
Unfortunately, they close early Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for some reason... (every other planet fitness I've been to is open 24/7 even on weekends) so don't plan on working out 30mins before closing those days.

Affordable gym, lots of equipment which allows for next to no waiting. Hours are perfect for busy people needing to work out early in the morning or late evening. Lots of parking and it's easy to get in and out. I love the spa package which includes two types of massage, good types of tanning beds and red light treatment. Unfortunately they do not have a sawna or pool. I feel the floors need to be swept or vacuumed more frequently especially in the changing rooms, tanning, red light treatment and rooms where they have mats to work out on the floor. I feel very comfortable working out here. I don't feel like anyone is staring at me. Employees are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this gym.

As a nationwide Planet Fitness user, I found this to be the best facility yet. The staff were super friendly and helpful, as is always the case. But what really set it aside is that for those of us who are on the road and looking to shower, not only was this facility clean, but the hot water came on fast and was hotter than I needed even. By the time I left and hit the road again, I felt 100% better. Nearby there is a WinCo, which has the best food prices anywhere in the nation. Also there is a Deseret Industries, by far the best stocked thrift store at the best prices that I have been in in years. And I was able to get a credit union ATM so I could do free banking. The location could not have been better for this gym.😍

Planet fitness manager in twin falls Idaho is on top of his game. Wife and I are black card members traveling across the United States and we go to a lot of lineup business facilities. This one is a bit small but very nice. One the surface the low monthly fees with PF seem great. However, my son chose to pay by debit card each month. He is being told that they are processing the payments on time but because there is a delay in processing to get the funds he will continue being charged a late fee every month. This is not a gym member problem. In reality the bank has confirmed that payments are not being processed on the due date and in fact they are submitting them late. So much for low membership costs. It can safely be estimated that if 1000 members paid the $10 late fee the company is earning $10,000. Beware of what you are signing up for.

I love the gym but the staff suck. They are so unhelpful and lazy. Paper towels are constantly empty and then everyone is just standing around at the front.
I have waited over 20 mins over my scheduled tan time because of constant standing around.

Claims to be "judgement free" but couldn't help but feel judged as they kicked me out for wearing full tactical gear and encouraging my friends as they worked out. Saying "its making others uncomfortable", I'm sorry the way I present myself offends others. But I wasn't bothering anybody or was in the way of others while they worked out.

Super crowded during the winter. Have to wait for machines or free weights. Canceled my membership because of this. I started working out at home, and got better results because I was more consistent, no crowds no waiting.

Just signed up for a membership. Took 10 minutes. They accepted my insurance and Kimi was wonderfully nice. This place is awesome. 24 hours 4 days a week. Just what I needed.

Soap scum build up indicates a minimum of a week or two of neglect. This is what we see. Imagine the germs we don’t. Also, there are no toilet seat hygiene liners.

The young girl manager with the glasses that works during the day was very rude and not proffesional. She talks down to people and should not be in management. We will never join planet fitness again due to their lack of respect for people and rude staff.

I have only had the membership for a month but they have a great gym with everything I needed, and the app is nice to see how busy the gym is before you actually go over there (I don’t like going when it’s packed so it’s easy to check before I drive over). My only issues have been with the front desk employees. They don’t seem to have a lot of information, but the management has been very helpful!

It's a good gym. Nice to massage after. They have plenty of equipment. Good place to workout. Only bad point is at night the staff seams to dissappear which is irritating.

I work in Law Enforcement and getting in a gym routine can be tough while transitioning between days and nights. I wasn’t a fan of the limited weights that Planet offered however I could look past that due to their 24 hours of operation. I could get off at 6 pm and have time to eat and then lift late and while on night shift I could kill time by working out at 11 pm. Their new hours have killed this. Closing at 7 on Saturday’s and Sunday’s makes it impossible for me exercise on the weekends unless I have the day off. I was so thankful that Twin finally had a 24 hour gym again but I guess now it’s back to Gold’s.

I'm not sure if they'll see this, but I chose Planet Fitness because it was open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If I knew they were going to change the hours, I would never go there.
