I had a tour of this gym. It is nice. I love that it has round the clock access. As well as great customer service. I did not sign up, only because it is too far from my house. Otherwise I would be there every day.

My son and I came down to the Iron Wood camp for the week and I wanted to find a place to exercise. I called around and Shift Fitness had the best weekly rate that I could find. When I showed up at the gym, I was met at the door by a couple ladyβs that were very personable and friendly. They walked me through setting up the app and payment which was very painless. I was very impressed with the equipment they had in a smaller space. The gym was very well kept, clean, and organized which is a lot different than what Iβm used to seeing. Thank you for the great experience during my stay.

Pros
Shift has a great location and easy to access even when staff is not present.
Very helpful staff that is always eager to help with any problems or accommodations.
For the size of the gym it has a good speard of weights and equipment.

Ive been going here for about 5 months. Itβs a great neighborhood gym. Very private and discreet place which I love about it. Super clean and quality equipment. I also love that it is not crowded. You can relax and work out at your own pace. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They always welcome you. Itβs a good little community. Iβm really pleased I joined. For the price per month I think it is worth it.

This is a great gym! ππͺ It has everything you need for any kind of workout (machine & free weights, stationary cardio, yoga) and its operating hours are conveniently accessible throughout every day of the week. Plus, the owners, Jodi and Wes are both certified trainers, and they're super friendly and ready to assist with any questions you may have to improve your workout or address the attainment of a personal goal. The gym is exceptionally clean, and all the equipment looks brand new, even though it has been open for a year. I highly recommend this gym for all of your fitness needs.
Update: I have been a member of Shift Fitness for six months now and things have been going great. In addition to being able to establish a regular program of cardio conditioning and strength building sessions, I've also began taking Jodi's kickboxing classes two months ago. She is certified to teach this form of martial art and is an excellent instructor. I've learned the various types of punches and kicks which she reinforces with intense sessions of practical application against her gym's punching bag. She also begins, and ends, each session with lots of stretching to minimize any chance of muscle injury during class from overexertion or post-training session soreness. During the week, Jodi will often ask her students how they are doing to make sure there are no lingering adverse effects from the previous kickbox class. In cases wherein students need help to increase muscle flexibility and joint mobility, Jodi will put them in contact with Julie, one of the Shift Fitness trainers, who is certified to perform "deep stretching" sessions. I have had two sessions with Julie to increase my flexibility and mobility, and as an added bonus, I believe it has noticeably improved my posture and helped me to regain some of my height stature. Other than purchasing a set of inexpensive hand wraps to secure the joints in your hands, there are no other items needed for the class. The gym has a set of boxing gloves and the previously mentioned punching bag, and Jodi, or Jared, can show you how to wrap your hands. So, the only other thing a new student needs to bring to class is a willingness to learn how to punch and kick and enjoy the benefits of a thorough cardio workout at the same time. ππ

so many good things to share about Shift Fitness. I was recommended to Shift from a friend. Being in the stage of life that I am as a women, I was looking for a trainer that was relatable. First, you could not find a friendlier more inviting group of people. You are always welcomed with a gigantic smile. Second, itβs a very comfortable atmosphere. Sometimes gyms can be intimidating to work out in. Third, they listened to what I shared my needs were and Jodi adapted my training to that. Each exercise is explained as to the area and the why so you have a great understanding as to what you are doing. They are made to fit any schedule so there are no excuses π. I highly recommend them. The Smith family - Jodi Smith - have changed my life. I have been on a constant roller coaster of weight loss/weight gain - get in shape - burn calories - do this, do that and GAIN it all back again constant struggle⦠Consulting with Jodi, working out with Jodi - has changed everything I thought I knew about how to lose weight and get in shape.
Iβve learned how to ENJOY my food (and Iβm eating more now than I ever have) and ENJOY working out. Blows my mind, really!! I love this place!!!!
