I've been a "yogi" at Red Yoga for several years, had never tried it before joining. The new mat pilates class has quickly become one of my favorites! They are fun and accommodate all levels...and if age is a concern...this is the class for you! I'm 61 and now stronger than I've ever been! One "young" lady in my class told me she just turned 78 and 2 years ago she weighed a lot more and could hardly walk...she said this class has been "truly transforming". She is the inspiration for all of us young and old! The instructors and people in my classes (lots of laughter and encouragement) are what keeps me coming back 4x a week!

Red Yoga Pilates Class Review

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Red Yoga! Love this Pilates studio! From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by a vibrant and fun atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The instructors are truly exceptional—knowledgeable, supportive, and always encouraging. They know how to push you just the right amount to help you achieve great results.

Since joining, I’ve lost inches and my arms and legs have never looked better! The classes are both challenging and rewarding, making every session feel like a step toward my fitness goals. I honestly can’t get enough of it! I’m absolutely addicted to this studio and the fantastic classes they offer.

If you’re looking for a place that combines a positive environment with effective workouts, look no further. This studio has changed my fitness journey for the better, and I can’t wait for each class! Highly recommend!

I have had the pleasure of taking classes instructed/ lead by Alison. The Zen class and the Yin/ Yang classes are perfect for me. Her ability to describe what and how to complete the pose makes it possible for me to close my eyes while practicing. On the days when my body doesn’t want to complete the pose, I breath and let the beautiful music being played calm me down . I love her metaphoric cues for the poses.
My job has taken me around the world and I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing yoga from different teachers in different countries and I must say Alison is right up there with my most memorable teachers .
I’m so happy that I found Red Yoga, and in particular Allison just 7 miles away.

Discovering Red-Yoga created an instant connection to community here in Boise/Eagle. As a disabled veteran, retiree I've really come to embrace what yoga brings for longevity, mindfulness & fitness. Jenni curates both an awesome cadre of instructors & large selection of classes. Focusing all-around fitness, flexibility, stillness & healing - there is something for anyone/everyone at her studio. I've recently moved to the area and finding a place like this is a true gem in the Treasure Valley. The classes are plentiful, tho never overfilled. The space has all the equipment and the variety of classes means there is little to no repetition. Every session, either challenges or recenters you - they are spot on with the descriptions of what to expect. The instructors genuinely connect with their fellow yogis, and there is a strong sense of caring. Would certainly recommend to anyone in the area to try the introductory package for two-weeks, and see/practice with as many different classes/instructors - guessing they would find the same feelings as mine once they discovered Red-Yoga and how much benefit it can bring to your life. We even hope to invite/hire some of the instructors to come practice at our house next time we have family and friends in from out of town. This studio has been a fantastic find for us!

Took a class here a couple months ago and accidentally left a water bottle. We reached out to someone about picking it up and we started receiving some very weird and very accusatory questioning completely irrelevant to the water bottle.

Some lady we spoke to was essentially insinuating we hadn’t paid for a class and was questioning when, where, why, etc. This was extremely odd and not based on any fact. This behavior just rubbed us the wrong way and we will definitely not be returning.

We’ve tried to go back to get the water bottle several times, but our attempts have been a failure due to the door constantly being locked. We just want our water bottle back without the unprofessional and inappropriate interrogation.

You can't always find a class at 6am to get to work on time. The classes that Red Yoga has at 6am are so different than any other studio you have been to. You will love both of the teachers. Don loves to teach you the form of yoga and he is so funny. Jen has hard classes but is so motovative that you will push yourself through and be happy about.

I'm not what you'd call a yoga guy (I'd taken one yoga class before in my life, 10 or 20 years ago). It was really easy to slide in and follow along--there are people at all levels of experience in the class. Read the class descriptions before going -- some (the ones I like, TBH) are kind of a mixture of yoga and a high intensity workout.

I started practicing at red yoga shortly after they opened. I remember the curiousity the studio instilled in me. I had the 2 week intro pass and I think every class I attended took me to a place me and my body had never been. Some tying my body into invigorating asana, others challenging my ego's comfort zones, and many truly sorting through and mending lifes lingering wounds.

There is a huge range in classes! Wake up and ask yourself what your feelin', there's a class for that!

Jenni, the owner, has perhaps one of the deepest sense of intuition I have had the pleasure of engaging with. You can feel this through a led class in which you are aware she has improved the class to fit each individuals needs somehow simultaneously in one class. Perhaps you will feel it through her touch as she lays a refreshing towel on your forehead during savasana, or the adjustments like a deep massage.

All I can say is the 2 week pass became 2 years and probably 2 decades if things continue as they have. Namaste yogis, see you at red yoga!

I absolutely LOVE this studio. I did yoga religiously for 4 years and then moved to Idaho and stopped. I finally found a studio that I love. It’s a small studio with a comfortable atmosphere. The teachers are very nice and offer a practice for all levels. The studio is heated but not overheated like a lot of hot yoga studios can be. You leave feeling relaxed, strong and centered, not exhausted from too much humidity and heat. The owner, Jen is so nice and super helpful. She welcomes everyone and wants to make sure every client enjoys their time at her studio. Also, the studio keeps the lights down, which I LOVE! Show up as you are and make yourself a priority.

I have been going to Red Yoga since the end of January (I'm really late posting this) and I love it! I moved to Idaho from Georgia a little over a year ago and I told myself that when I moved I would start doing yoga. I had no experience what so ever and was really nervous that I would look foolish. The owner Jenni was WONDERFUL and met with me prior to class to show me the basics. I've also attended a few classes with Don and he's a great instructor. Each class is different and I really enjoy the Zen/Yen classes. I've become a lot more flexible, stronger, and can lift heavier weights at the gym. I've also noticed that I feel more "at peace" (I recommend it to my patients with depression and anxiety issues). Don't be intimidated by the "hot" yoga as the studio is warm and toasty, not "I'm going to die from heat stroke" hot. Also the studio lighting is darker (almost like candlelight) which makes it more relaxing and I don't feel like people are staring at me when I make a mistake :). Overall, this is a great studio and I would definitely recommend it. I love it so much that I bought a year membership. If you are new to yoga like me, text Jenni (her number is on the website) to get set up and you won't be disappointed!

Great studio with great Vinyasa classes. I am also happy that I can tolerate the temperature because I have done bikram in the past and I learned that I don't tolerate yoga in that hot of an environment. But at Red the temp is hot enough to help me stay loose and comfy but not so hot I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Highly recommend to men out there who can't handle the super hot yoga studios.

Red Yoga is my little piece of zen during a crazy day. I love the safe, hot warmth of the room, without feeling like I could pass out in a too hot studio. Jenni is an awesome and caring yoga instructor. She works with new students and is very welcoming, yet, her flow class is also challenging. Many of the classes are different levels. And you should find something that works for your level. My husband enjoys the zen class with me, where he feels he can increase his flexibility without being intimidated by an advanced class.

Wonderful atmosphere and very accommodating staff! Come as you are, at any level! Our classes sometimes transform into personal yoga adjustments and fun stretching techniques! I feel at home there and started bringing my very reluctant male family members!

Red Yoga is a unique studio in the area as it is "reasonably" hot. It is hot enough to sweat and get an amazing stretch but not so hot that it is distracts from the calm and meditation of my practice. I always feel energized and strong after the classes. I am inspired by the instructors to deepen my practice each class. I have been to many studios in the area and Red Yoga is by far the friendliest. It is non-competitive and would be a great place for new yogis to start to cultivate a meaningful practice.
