The customer service that Brianna gave to me was horrible she talked down to me the whole time. We had a disagreement about being told that the month to month was a subscription so I said then there had to be miscommunication. When I tried to explain why that it was miscommunication she said it was entirely my fault that there was. She kept cutting my off and would not let me speaks, until I tried to tell her I am willing to pay what I owe to continue my membership I just didn't think it was right that I had to pay for a month I didn't go. She then said no it's okay whenever there is a disagreement like this where one person says it's the other person's fault and won't let the other speak it won't work out. Yet she is the one who would not let me speak and I told her this and reiterated that it was miscommunication she it's okay fine another gym you don't owe anything. Again I can't stress how rude she was

The Sneaker Chase Fiasco
This gym deserves a gold medal in ridiculousness! I strutted in, ready to dominate my workout, only to have the front desk lady glare at my perfectly decent sneakers like I’d stomped through radioactive sludge . “Change your shoes!” she snapped, pointing to some vague rule. Apparently, my kicks weren’t “gym-approved,” so she demanded I ditch them. With no spares and zero options, I’m left to shuffle around in my socks—on a gym floor that’s seen more sweat than a sauna at a Diddy party.
Then, the real madness kicks off. I hit the treadmill, trying to make the best of it, when this lady bolts after meal like I’m smuggling contraband in my socks! She’s dodging weight racks, yelling about “footwear violations,” while I’m slipping and sliding, looking like a cartoon character running from a rabid hall monitor. Gym-goers are staring, some snickering, one dude nearly yeets a kettlebell from laughing. It’s like I’m starring in a sweaty Looney Tunes reboot.
The gym itself? Fine, I guess—standard equipment, nothing fancy. But the shoe police vibe? Hard pass. My dignity and my perfectly good sneakers deserve a gym that doesn’t turn a jog into a sock-sliding chase scene.

Unless you’re itching to play tag with an overzealous staffer, find a gym that lets your shoes live in peace.

The front desk manager Brianna doesn’t know what she is doing, no idea how fees work or how anything works. have to call their GM for basic answers. i paid off my account and still got a $25 fee. Bad customer service 10/10 would rather work out with sharks than be treated the way i was by her. unwilling to resolve any issues i canceled and paid off my account hopefully for the last time will not be back

This is the only gym I have tried that I feel welcome and unjudged. I love that I could ask someone to show me how to use a machine, and they would come help out. The feont desk person usually says good morning when I get there and have a good day when I leave. 10/10 Recommend

I love RISE Fitness.
I moved to Blackfoot back in 2020 and I was looking for a quality gym. I had just left a toxic job, and my health and confidence had been neglected for years as a result. I joined and was immediately welcomed into the RISE community. RISE has been a safe space for me to challenge myself to grow both mentally and physically. Everyone there is encouraging and truly wants to see you succeed.
RISE has had a huge impact on my life and health, and I am incredibly, incredibly thankful for them.

Awesome clean gym with lots of versatility. The staff treat you like a part of the pack. Just one thing I wish was different. The back of the gym is the crossfit area. I feel like it should be a little lower of a cost, but then again I know nothing of owning a gym or what it costs.

I love this gym. It's always so clean and rarely ever overrun with lots of people. The staff is friendly and they have a lot to offer like tanning, personal training, childcare, and tons of classes.

I had a 6 month contract with them and me and my buddy both were given the option to opt out of the automatic renewal, which we did. And now 8 months and 90$ later we're both being charged for the automatic renewal and will be charged another 46$ next month because we didn't give a 30 days notice. We were both told we wouldn't be charged after the initial 6 months and now we're both regretting signing anything from this gym. They mislead us from the beginning and haven't been helpful trying to get it resolved.

If there was a zero star I would give it the type of customer service that was given to my mother was not impressive at all. Thankfully she will no longer be going there. Hopefully with this review they will get coaching lessons on having better customer service and better manners.

Rise Fitness does a great job at making their customers feel comfortable in their gym. The place welcomes a diverse amount of people ranging from newcomers to die hard athletes. Many classes are offered and trainers are there to help with anything, even if you just have a quick question.

I enjoy everything about the gym. My wife and son also have memberships. My experience at Golds gym has been very good. I enjoy working with the personal trainers. My fitness level and health have greatly improved, during the time I have been a member.
