I rarely use a cardio machine and something isn't broken on it. I'm glad they updated the locker room, but they need to clean it much more often. Do we really need to share one soap dispenser for three sinks? The sauna is great.

The gym equipment needs updated there is a lot of equipment that doesn't work here. The new lockers they have people constantly go through and lock them all then when you tell the front counter all the lockers are locked they won't do anything about it. Corporate has taken over here and it has went wayyyyy down hill. I feel like they respond to our reviews only to try and make themselves look good when in reality they could care less about the people that works out there. Who's ever in charge definitely shouldn't be.

If you are looking for a gym that clearly demonstrates a common theme among the staff, then Villa Sport Fitness at Fairview is your place.

Excellent service from sales, management, front desk, and personal training at the Fairview location. Starting with Alex, his ability to think outside the box is the reason for signing up with Villa Sport. He listened to what we needed and figured out a way to make it happen, even though he had never experienced a prior membership request. He took this idea and got his supervisor, Sarah, onboard within minutes. Within 5 minutes, they had figured out how to make my request happen to get my membership completed. Instead of sticking to a script about my request being too complicated or doesn't adhere to the database options, both Alex and Sarah figured out a legitimate method so that all parties' needs were being met. Also, both of them did this work with a positive attitude and never paused about the extra work it would entail. My wife and I felt like our idea was a worthwhile endeavor. Ok, so may be we felt really good because we got our way.

This experience was way different than other membership discussions. No pressure, no haggling, no dismissive remarks...just how to remove the roadblocks to help us get into a gym.

Alex also recommended Camden as our personal trainer. She has been amazing with setting us up with personalized programs based on hearing what our needs are and based on the biometric feedback report. Like Alex and Sarah, her attitude has been positive and constantly providing feedback to understand what we is working for us and not working for us. The personal training also includes insight to our calorie intake and Camden provides feedback through the app to keep us accountable throughout the week. Her accountability has been supportive, instead of questioning our food choices.

Lastly, the team that meets you at the front counter also embody this positive vibe with a genuine look of joy that you are working out today at this gym. I think that they understand that we could go to any gym in Boise and we have chosen to go to this one.

Lockerroom remodel is great. Use to look like a horror movie. Equipment is old, outdated, cramped. Still needs a remodel. The 1970s basketball court was taken out for a deadlift platform and turf. Good upgrade. Still wish they added a basketball court in expansion instead of ostracized that demographic entirely. You get what you pay for

The machines are broken half the time, when you ask them when they'll be fixed the front desk clerks says they check on it then walk away laughing with each other and never seem to find the manager for a response. The locker rooms have smelled like pee EVERY time I have gone there. They raise the price of the membership every 3 months with no warning whatsoever. The whole staff starting by the manager whom I had the displeasure of talking to once has a condescending tone while providing literally the worst gym experience in the treasure valley. When trying to cancel the membership they will make it extremely difficult and force you to do it through certified snail mail. I'm still waiting to comfirm that my cancelation went through, otherwise I'm going to have to go through my bank to stop the payments. If you're looking for a gym, villa sports is not it.

Was great until it was bought out by villa sport. Now it’s just another giant gym chain with the same policies. I used to be able to pay yearly. Now, it’s just the never ending draw on the checking account with extra fees. They also require you download an ap that’s absolutely garbage to sign in each time you go there.

I had a scheduled TRAINING SESSION was since i did not have the new ap up and loaded, i was denied entry to gym. I sat and tried to figure out AP and asked if i can do later and was still denied entry. After the AP would not work and kept saying my membership did not exist. I left Fairview and went to Parkcenter. The Parkcenter staff let me work out and HELPED me with the AP. They also were understanding of my limited time and said to make sure the ap is done by my next visit since this NEED was just dropped on me. PARKCENTER YOU ALL ARE GREAT, FAIRVIEW you have set a bad opinion with me and i will nit return to your location.

Such poor customer service. Last spring I wanted to add a membership for my son and they gave me the total runaround, saying I had to come in at certain times, I had to speak with certain people, etc. Then I reached out in June via the website to pause my membership for the summer (as allowed by my contract), never heard back from anyone and just realized they’ve been charging me all along. Like others have said, the service ends the moment they get your credit card number. Businesses like these are why we need consumer protections.

Some (not all) of the female staff at the juice bar are noticeably rude. They often avoid making eye contact and fail to greet customers with a simple “hello’ or ask ‘how can I help you?’ Instead, they casually say ‘what’s up,’ which comes across as dismissive. Their facial expressions lack friendliness, rarely offering a smile. When customers say thank you, these staff members do not respond with ‘you're welcome’ or any courteous reply—there’s just silence. A girl named Rehaina, in particular, is the most prominent example of this unprofessional behavior. Despite Villa Sport’s recent successful remodel, which has improved the facility’s appearance, their customer service still leaves much to be desired. It’s evident that staff training and customer engagement need significant improvement to enhance the overall experience.

I called asking about a yeti water bottle I had. It was custom. And they said that they had it and that they would keep it safe for when I come and get it. when I came to go get it about 5 days later. It was gone. I believe that employees steal peoples things when they don’t come and get them that day. Which is absolutely unacceptable. ( I asked if it would still be there for me when I got back In town, thats why it took me 5 days. And the employee I spoke with said yes it will be there and no one will touch it. There are a few men that go into the sauna and all sweaty they jump into the pool. There are showers and I don’t know why they dont rinse off before entering the pool. We have complained to the staff but the staff just tell us they dont know what to do. There should be rules and people should be reprimanded and not allowed in the sauna and pool with such behavior.

I stopped coming to this location and now only go to the Meridian and Overland location for a couple reasons. First, they don’t have a women's only weight workout room like the Meridian location does. Nothing against men, just feel more comfortable in the women’s only room and its not super busy so I always get my workout done in a timely manner. Next, while on the stair master for 30 min, I witnessed very odd and concerning behavior from a cleaning crew staff member. What he did was make me feel super uncomfortable because he would literally walk back and forth from his maintenance's/cleaning room to the stairmaster/treadmills to clean the same machines over and over while he starred at women. It was as if he was purposely coming to the cardio area just to stare at the females while pretending to clean a machine. He constantly sprayed cleaning chemicals around people including me as they work out and it really gave me a headache but also he gave me creepy vibes. He didn’t seem to be doing his job and would walk to the cleaning room then back to me to clean one machine then back to the cleaning room. He cleaned the same machines over and over again while being a creep starring at women which is super weird! He should be fired if he still works there. His description is younger slightly overweight latino.

One star was selected incorrectly. I deleted it and updated the review. The reason is as follows: People camp on the equipment, just to mess around with their phones and not use it, then leave. Others set their belongings on an empty machine to hold it while using other equipment. Gym hygiene is poor; members rarely wipe down machines after use. The locker room is poorly cleaned. The lockers are unclean; they have dirt buildup, dust, and hairballs. This level of uncleanliness takes time to accumulate. I mentioned my dissatisfaction and asked about canceling. I was told about the notice period, and nothing else was asked or addressed. There was no point in pursuing this issue further at this location.

I have really liked this gym as far as the equipment and most of the staff go. I will say I was not pleased with one of the younger girls in the kids club (I grabbed my kids & left before catching her name.). She was extremely rude to me when expressing certain rules they have there.. even though I have been there before and have had no problems with what I was doing (for ex: helping my kid find a toy, helping him calm down, etc). The professionalism was not there with her and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my children with someone that would so blatantly be rude to me as I'm dropping them off. If you can't handle the stresses of working with kids and remaining kind and professional, then I think you should find another job.

This gym is in need of some major equipment maintenance. Some of the heavier equipment isn’t even bolted down and lifts off the ground, which is a major tipping/safety hazard. Most of the equipment also shakes mid lift as if about to break. Not to mention upon walking in,the gym itself is foggy. It’s as if the steam from the steam room or sauna is stepping into the main lifting areas. The removal of the basketball court several months ago was also a massive let down. Perhaps the most disappointing part of this membership though is the hassle it takes to cancel your membership. When I asked the front desk how to cancel my membership (since there is no option online) I was asked for my name and number and told the GM would give me a call. I’m all for getting feedback from your members but requiring a call from the GM to cancel is wild. Especially considering the Federal Trade Commission’s “click to cancel” rule that was decided in October 2024. Hopefully the clear and easy click to cancel mechanism gets sorted out before provisions regarding this go into effect on May 14th, 2025. You would think they would adopt earlier rather than later.

Your decision to remove the basketball court for "more workout space" was a deep blow to the Black/African American community here in Boise, with little to no communication at all. You probably may not care about it, but WE valued the evening ball and there were always a whole bunch of people (mostly black) playing basketball especially around this time of the year, and for you to take that away from these young men clearly shows a lack of empathy and respect of diversity and inclusion in your decision-making.
As a Black community leader here in Boise, I would not recommend your gym to anyone.

Was a member for two years.The only reason I am giving them a two star is because of customer service. I cancelled my membership in April/May over the phone as I moved away from Idaho and they said it was a done deal and wished me luck. A few months later I get a message from their general manager, Joseph, saying I never cancelled? Also, that I am being sent to collections?! Why punish me for a mistake your team made? I reached out to them via email to resolve the issue and they never reached back out. Honestly super disappointed at the lack of accountability, responsibility, and ownership here. When I move back at some point I will not be restoring my membership here.

I was a member here for over 3 years, my experience has been excellent. The people have all been friendly and helpful. The facilities are great. There is a large parking area so no issues there. I built my own gym and no longer needed to go, cancelling my membership was easy. I filled out the cancel request form on their website and I had a return cancellation confirmation email the next day.

I signed up for a VIP membership 2 months ago and got my first in-body test. For my second body test, I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and was able to do it without an appointment. I was told that the test could be administered without an appointment as it doesn't take much time. I walked in last Saturday on a really slow morning, and I was denied an in-body test. I was told that I needed to make an appointment, and when I explained to him that last time I was able to do a walk-in, he completely ignored me and repeated to me that I needed an appointment. After setting an appointment for me, this gentleman sat back down at his desk and was on his phone on and off for the next 20 minutes. I sat there looking at him in disbelief, I could not fathom why he couldn't just help me out like one of your wonderful assistants had done before. I guess customer service/satisfaction is not his Forte. Anyway the new flooring is cool 😎

One of the biggest reasons we signed up to this gym is the Pool. However after going for months now, we’ve witnessed multiple people fall, due to lack of mats, lack of floor protection in the pool zone. These floors are absolute risk to everyone and can open you up to a lawsuit. As someone who has fallen down despite taking my own personal protections against it, I still fell down and injured my hip. When I asked the gentlemen on premises who seemed like a higher up and not a regular employee, I was met with a disgusting answer of “The mats stay where they are. “ didn’t reassure me, didn’t even try to talk to me about it. Mind you, a lady had just been taken out of here in an ambulance, and another employee specifically stated there was no grip Mats in the sauna. I do not know the gentlemen’s name who was completely rude and dismissive, but I do have a photo of him. These floors are not safe. Something needs to be done. One older woman in her 60s-80s fell in there as well. This is not how you treat people who come in here daily. Please do something about the floors.

Came in today 3/10/24 . I walk in and use my keychain axiom card to scan my entry, the lady who was working looked at me and rolled her eyes then she asked if she can see my I.D. I’ve had an axiom membership for almost 8 years. I left my ID in my car, so I showed her what I could at the time, I pulled out my phone and my FB profile with my name and picture, she said I need a picture. I went to my car and got my ID, I showed her and went through. No other people were getting carded. I normally go to the axiom in overland and the village, and have never been carded. I felt racially profiled I hope the manager sees this. I hope other don’t feel how unwanted I felt there as I did.

I just signed up for a membership about a week ago for only $12 during their Black Friday sale! I forget the name of the gentleman who gave me a tour of the gym—but I think it might have been Ian? He was very kind, informed, and inviting. 🥰Anyway, he showed me the pool, and all of their pristine equipment. PLUS, I learned that they have a new machine that can tell you your body fat percentage and a ton of other valuable information. It’s amazing. Join up if you’re serious about getting fit and losing weight. They don’t mess around here. There is zero judgement. Love this place!!

When I bought the membership they said I could bring my teenager when I worked out as a guest. I did that for a couple months or so every so often but would also come alone. Then all of the sudden they changed and said I couldn't when every other gym in the area lets you bring your teenager (15yo daughter.) What other friends am I supposed to have when I have a teenager?! Jeeeeeeze. Dudes at the front act like bouncers trying to make up for lost time. Crunch says they'll let me bring my kid as a guest. Plus if you've been in the sauna its gross. There were maggots there this one time and they had to replace the bench :p. Hopefully this place gets bought out soon. I have had nothing but a great experience at this gym, their staff, and at all four locations. Personal training program is clearly explained if you are interested before you sign up.

Seeing comments from other with negative experiences, all their information is online, including classes and specific amenities at each location. I had no trouble answering my own questions. I'm sure you can tour the locations before you sign up for membership, do your own research and be your own advocate before you buy something.

Of course there's a busy period in the early evening, that is true with any popular gym. Even at the busy times I have no trouble finding a space to work, everyone is very friendly and willing to share.

I find myself one of the many individuals who have cancelled their memberships. I only recently signed back up. During that "interview", I was asked why I was coming. I had several reasons, some of which were still open 24 hours, I was allowed to park my bicycle in the lobby and that there were plenty of yoga classes that I could join. Now, I had made the comments about being open 24 hours and bicycle parking but I was not corrected by the employees there. They simply smiled and took my $100. Only later on did I find out how wrong I was. And the yoga classes, not very many and while I was at my 9 to 5 job. And yes, they knew when I worked because I told them because they asked.

I like to workout at night since there are no senior citizens there. I consistently have an issue with them pirating the machine I use. Even if I would go to get some water, I would have my machine pirated. I would leave my phone and towel on the machine and that wouldn't help.

Long story short, lying by omission is still lying. I don't appreciate it. I'm outta here.

Jessika (BodyPump instructor) is amazing! my daughter and I had JUST joined (literally, 5 minutes earlier) and we were walking through the gym looking around. BodyPump had already started but she saw us watching through the window and waved us in. We started the class late but really enjoyed it! Gym is big has lots of equipment. Functional area could be bigger. Gym bags were no problem when I first started. Just had some young gentleman tell me that gym bags aren't allowed and told me to put it up. It's a gym, gym bags are a staple. If you are reading this and thinking what's the big deal then this gym and the type of people who
go here are perfect for you. Needless to say I'm canceling my membership and am going elsewhere. Easy day and decision for me. Stay hungry 💪🏼. Update: The reply here and my inquiry to the staffer to the reason behind the gym bag ban was yes tripping hazard (I've never seen it with other bags nor have I had my bag in a walking area that could be considered a "tripping hazard") and the appearance of "cleanliness" (doesn't take one long to see a lack of cleanliness on their part if you venture into the restroom) and a fire hazard. The building being about 80/20 metal/wood this scenario is ridiculous but okay. When I was in charge of a platoon of Marines I treated them like adults and they in turn acted like adults. The platoon sergeants that treated their Marines like children more often then not got the behavior of a child from them. The global gym mentality here "is what it is" it's their business and they can ban whatever they'd like. 🤔.....I shoulda asked about chalk. 🚫

Axiom used to be a different gym, but now that it's different gym in the valley, I feel that Planet Fitness is better than this gym at this point. They don't have security cameras in their parking lot like cmon we are living in 21st century where every business facilities has a camera but this gym doesn't care about their customers safety, multiple peoples cars broke down in their parking lot and they have something that just look like camera but it's apparently not a camera if that thing is not a camera then get it down.
Please do not go to this gym if you have a nice car this gym is not for you, and their restroom is filthy.

My daily gym I’ve been using for 4 years now and I very much enjoy it here. I go during the busy 5pm rush and an still able to get a workout done in a decent amount of time and then hit the sauna on the way out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice gym to join.

I did the Sprint Upper Body Ergometer, aka the Arm Machine, a name coined by Willow the worker, for the first time ever. It is absolutely amazing. I sat and leaned back to pull, stood and leaned over to push, alternating as my muscles would tire. It's my favorite cardio machine in the gym. However, the screen that gives you feedback is broken. Too bad. 10/10 would recommend this machine. Axiom please fix this and/or get two new ones, please, so I can compete with a friend.

For over 7 years I have been a member of Axiom. Great Trainers. Great Management! I am a disabled veteran and needed a place that would respect my physical limitations while making me feel welcome. It is always clean and great communication if you have any questions.

I wanted handicap accessible access to the hot tub. I called the Fairview-Boise location and was told yes, the hot tub is handicap accessible. Went to location about 1.5 hours later. Confirmed with counter staff that we wanted to use the hot tub, but needed handicap accessible - I can't use stairs. They said yes and that it was simple to use device. Paid, got changed, learned device is broken and appears to have been broken for some time. They refused to refund my fee. I was in building less than 25 minutes. They would not void or refund the fee I paid. Terrible customer service.

When I was asking around what gym to join, axiom came up constantly as the best. I took a tour and was impressed with what I saw for what you pay. I’ve been a member for two weeks and I have been every day. The place is super clean, the weights and equipment are in great condition. No tattered seats or anything. Locker room and showers are clean as well. Staff is super cool and friendly. Money well spent!

I really wished everyone who worked out here would clean their equipment after use. It's gym etiquette 101.....it's frustrating to know im getting on equipment that the previous user sweated all over. Workers can't possibly keep up with cleaning the machines nonstop. Maybe stop charging a dollar a towel and come up with a laundry system so others would be encouraged to clean after use

Axiom has wonderful Group Exercise instructors. I participate in Aqua, BodyPump, and Silver Sneakers classes. Instructors are knowledgeable, cheerful, and love what they do. All of them suggest modifications for those unable to perform the exact exercise. Thank you for making exercise fun!

I have recently started going here frequently and I even started a Premium Membership because of how Welcoming this place feels and how everyone seems to just do their own thing and focus on themselves instead of others. Axiom has provided what I have needed. My trainer Jeff O. has been the best support. The only thing I would change....is that I wish that they had sliding scales for seniors on limited incomes whose insurance does not cover Gym fees. The facility is clean and folks are friendly.

I’ve used this gym for two years. I absolutely love Axiom and the environment. Everyone is friendly including the staff. However, I’ve noticed in the last couple months how dirty the place has noticeably become. I see nail clippings, hair, clumps of dust and more all over the ground. I also notice many patrons not wiping their equipment down after use and it’s really unfortunate and gross. I don’t want anyone to catch an infection of some sort or be piling others sweat on them, by something that should be a basic courtesy. I will continue to use this gym but kinda disappointed on the downward spiral the upkeep has been

There is an excercise room for seniors to use, "called silver sneakers ". Very good trainers, one of them can name everybody in there. They all use safety ways of excercises for Seniors. Also they have a heart of sympathy when it comes to any that passed away.

Great gym, with all the amenities! Can't beat it for the price. I have the VIP for $34 a month, so I get access to everything! Plus 2 guests for free every day... what other gym offers that! By far the best gym in the area, hands down. They also have the tanning salon attached to it so if you want to get a tan it is literally in the same building. Cannot be beaten.

I’ve been a member here for years. At first I loved this gym as it kept equipment in good repair, added new classes/equipment, and had great trainers! Now, I can’t speak on the trainers as I no longer train with anyone, but the equipment is in need of repair asap. A good greasing, new upholstery on quiet a few pieces, new hand grips, etc. Lastly, the place looks clean, but I see plenty of dust, hair, etc clinging to areas of the equipment that the typical person wouldn’t wipe down (aka under seats, under weight stacks, under/around the equipment)… and this dirt is definitely accumulated - aka hasn’t been cleaned in probably weeks.
I used to love Axoim but after starting another membership at another gym, I must say I’m let down that such a popular gym is allowing this location to go downhill.

I cancelled my membership because of the hours the main reason I was there the 24 hour access, I asked if they were ever going to bring them and the response was “why would we?” … update they responded and clearly missed the whole reason why I cancelled which was the 24 hour access their response to my original review was “we expanded the weekend hours to 9pm” how is this a proper response to the 24 hours
