I’ve been attending Mark Z.’s 5:30p Monday classes for years. Mark is one of my all-time favorite yoga instructors. His classes are challenging vinyasa style speckled with hilarity that has occasionally had me rolling on the floor with laughter. Fortunately, the Yoga Tree has a cork floor for softer landings. Great space!

Back & Joints gentle flow with Ilan Golick is one of the best yoga qigong classes I’ve taken! Hit the spot, just what my body needed. Yoga Qi with Jason is also a great experience for mind body soul 🩷The yoga tree is a pleasant studio to practice in I encourage you to explore the variety of classes🙏

If you are nervous about Yoga, or have had a bad experience in the past, you have to take a class with Bill Dial. His sunrise classes are rhythmic and habitual and focus on your body and breath, not the pose (the pose will come naturally). Highly recommend Yoga Tree of Boise!

I’m always more in tune with the Great Spirit / God-dess / Divine Self after Kimberly’s Sunday classes than I ever found in any church. 🖤

I’ve been to two classes now. I was worried because I just moved here and I can really only go at 12pm do to my work schedule, so I booked classes based on time rather than my needs but I am thrilled. My time slot and needs are met and I haven’t felt better in a long while. Colbie has been my teacher twice and she’s amazing. I’m very very pleased and will be continuing these classes as long as they are provided.

Wow! Thank you so much Jennifer! Our private class of 12 was amazing! You are so warm and caring feeling and the class was exactly what we needed. Our bodies are stretched out and our minds are calm.

After my amazing Yoga Tree week I feel like I must review. Starting with Jennifer, the owner, she has a wonderful and powerful restorive class. She takes on the full meaning to be restored beautifully. Her studio is top notch, and the best part of her business is her spirit! Also, Jodeen's slow flow, where she has you move ever so gracefully in and out of postures. Lastly, I just got out a class with Kimberly and I can't express how fabulous it was! Breath, poetry, and movement is this women's passion, and you sure can feel it! You will absolutely not be disappointed with this studio, I know I am grateful!

Yoga Tree promotes community as part of its mission, and I feel it every time I'm there. All are welcome: novice, experienced, young, those not as young, and all in between. I love that both my mind and body feel benefit of classes. Variety of teachers who make me physically stronger and flexible, and who inspire me to take and "be" my yoga off the mat. I was so happy to have found the Tree when I moved here 2.5 years ago, and continue to feel the same.

I love this yoga studio! Jennifer and Josh have done a fabulous job creating a real sense of community and making all comers (beginners and experienced yogis) feel very welcome. All yoga students are encouraged to be comfortable doing their "own yoga", which means wearing whatever you want, and doing the asanas in a way that works for you. The yoga teachers are all warm, generous, grounded, and very experienced. They each bring their own strengths from Jennifer's wisdom to Colbie's sparkly sense of humor. I've already shared the Yoga Tree with several friends.

There are many good yoga studios in Boise, but Yoga Tree is my absolute favorite because of the people and the atmosphere of acceptance they create. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, you will feel comfortable yet challenged in every class. It is a close, friendly, completely non-judgmental atmosphere. Your age, your ability, your knowledge of yoga, none of it matters. You don't even have to have the latest yoga fashions (though they are adding some pretty cute things to a small retail area!). The occasional workshops featuring meditation, chanting, even ecstatic dance are so much fun, even if you're not sure about these things. Yoga Tree provides the perfect atmosphere to learn. If I had to sum up all the reasons I love this studio, I would say it's because the teachers, the space, and the experience are GENUINE.
