Angelica is my favorite Yogi on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Lindsey is my favorite check in gal. They're a fabulous team. This is a butt kickin y'all should try but again 1 time isn't enough. You've got to go more than once to know how you truly feel about this class.
Like I've said before, don't just go once. I go to the hot yoga signature class. You've got to go multiple times to really know if you like it or not. I've definitely got a love-hate relationship going. It's close to one of the most difficult physical things I've done. I don't naturally like things that are difficult. I have to pace myself and absolutely listen to my body. Try it. You might just have this weird need to keep going back like I do.

I’ve really enjoyed some of the YogaSix classes, but my experience with studio management has been very disappointing. After purchasing a trial pack and a couple of 10-class packs, I found the booking process confusing—especially since I am split time wise and location wise between two studios, and since the booking has been confusing as far as which studio I should "belong" to, I ended up with duplicate accounts. Instead of helping resolve this issue like any decent studio owner would, my accounts were abruptly canceled, and when I raised the issue, I was met with a rude and dismissive tone from Brandy. I believe communication should reflect the same kindness and respect the studio promotes in its classes. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Loyal yogi to the Signature Series. I’ve stuck with it through the various owners and so happy it has stuck around. LOVE hot yoga. Warning: it is the most you will ever sweat in your life, but I promise you will leave feeling so accomplished and proud of yourself! Like you can take on the world! (After a cold shower). I love the music and when they change the colors of the lights through the various flows. I highly recommend if you don’t mind heat and want to get the best workout of your life. I think it’s great for various skill levels.

Misleading information - Bait and switch!
Initial Offer vs. Reality: On April 11th, I was offered an introductory price of $81/mo and informed the regular price would be $136/mo with the ability to cancel anytime. This suggests there would be no long-term commitment and you could cancel without much hassle. The exact words in the text were, " You can cancel anytime and our cancellation policy is within 30 days.
In my calendar reminders, I entered to cancel the membership on May 10th.
Then...
Change in Terms: On May 3, I received a text stating I must provide 30 days’ notice to cancel. This contradicts the initial communication about the ease of cancellation.
When I spoke to Mary on the phone, she pretty much said the text I received on the 3rd superseded what she had texted me on the 11th.
The learning lesson is that this company will say anything to get you to join AND/OR there are people out there who don't know the difference between "within 30 days and minimum of 30 days." Beware!!
Also, the app won't allow one to remove their credit card information from the profile. That's shady.

I have given a few instructors good reviews from the Garden City location, today my review is for Jorge B. at the Meridian location. I am cutting weight for a fitness competition and I usually do the traditional Signature Series. By accident, I went to Sculpt and Flow. I am in LOVE! Jorge is a fantastic instructor and I want to start using Sculpt and Flow to cut as well. Great class, thanks!

1 class & I was hooked! This place has completely changed my life, my routine, and I truly notice a difference on days when I spend time on the mat here. The instructors are all so different and there's a ton of class options. I have always felt very welcome here, and truly love it. I highly recommend trying yoga here whether just starting out, or more advanced in your practice.

This fall I will mark my 10th year practicing hot yoga. Yoga Six, formerly Essential Hot Yoga, is my happy place! The instructors are all kind and knowledgeable. I especially love witnessing how each of them guides a brand new student through their first class with such care. It immediately takes me back to my first day. Today I was treated to a class led by Kate, who brings a lovely steady energy to each session. I appreciate the time she takes to often have special words of wisdom to share at the beginning and end of class.

Dina Patten was my instructor years ago at my VERY FIRST hot yoga class! She is kind, compassionate, and always goes above and beyond to connect with her students! I am forever grateful for my first class with Dina and every experience thereafter! Today's practice was phenomenal, as always! Thank you Dina!
I also want to share my love and appreciation for ALL of my instructors over the years who continue to challenge and inspire me DAILY: Brandy, Donna, Angel, Isabel, Cathie, Silvia, Jade, Holly, Kendra, Michelle, Monica, Christy, Ashly, Becky, Angela, Kristie, Jody, Kelli, Kristy, Maria, Lyndzee, Cali, Anna--- THANK YOU for sharing your passion with me!

YogaSix has been “my yoga studio” for the past 5yrs! I love everything about it! From the quality of classes to the wonderful & knowledgeable yoga teachers! As a matter fact, I was so impressed that 3 years ago I went through their yoga teacher training! I learned so much not only about Yoga but, most importantly about myself.
I recommend the teacher training and the classes to everyone whether they are new to yoga or if they’ve been a practitioner for many years.
Monica Lee is one of my favorite teachers at N Meridian! She is kind, friendly, hilarious & very knowledgeable in all aspects of yoga. She is happy to help you in anyway she can. She helped me to understand modifications to fit my body. My practice has improved greatly because of this. I am forever grateful!!
I recommend YogaSix to everyone!

I have been coming to YogaSix since November, fell in love with hot yoga & haven’t looked back. All the instructors are so helpful, but over time I have found some who go over and beyond to make you feel so welcome. So shoutout to Michelle, Dina, Cathie, Katie M, Silvia, Libby, Jade, Jody & of course Donna!

I have been coming to this studio for several years. The name may have changed a couple of times but what has not changed is the beautiful practice this place provides. The teachers are awesome, and you can feel their love for the practice as they guide you. It is not easy, and not for everyone but I personally do not know how I could get by without the balance - this yoga in particular - has brought into my life.

Great yoga experience. The instructors are fantastic. I'd never tried hot yoga and decided to give it a shot. I found it an enjoyable experience and a good workout. The flows are smooth but fast, and the heated room generates plenty of sweat. Even though I practice martial arts several times a week I found hot yoga to be challenging. Will definitely be back.

DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE INSULTED. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RUDE INSTRUCTOR - THE WORST YOGA INSTRUCTOR EVVVVVVER!!!! who also happens to be the OWNER, DONNA JACKOBICH.
I came to hot yoga after being out of practice for a couple years, I am in 'decent' shape but I ain't no supermodel, just an average size woman in her mid 30's. I came for the "what-was-advertised-as-so-called-'Beginner Class' - But it was far from 'beginners' when combined with the heat level...or maybe it was just ME being out of shape...and/OR the fact that I had recently recovered from a severely traumatic head and neck injury - so I came assuming it would be OK to challenge myself but to also KNOW when to be kind to my body and not overdo it.
So I did the "self-loving" thing any "normal" yoga student would do and made sure I took breaks when needed to catch my breath (going into child's pose/savasana), pausing to drink plenty of water, as I was OVERHEATING, and when my heart started pumping SO fast in the 115+ degree heat as I was dripping buckets of sweat...I made the 'wise' decision to step out of the room to catch some air, refill my water bottle and wet a towel to put on my neck so as to NOT PASS OUT~
**************
Well....to my dismay, at the end of class....the Instructor/Owner with her 'very high Micky mouse' pitched squeaky voice decided to LECTURE ME ON MY MANNERS telling me that my actions of moving around and stopping to rest WERE INAPPROPRIATE, DISRUPTIVE AND OFFENSIVE TO THE REST OF THE CLASS.
When I explained to her that I was overheated and HAD to leave the room...
She continued to LAMBASTE ME ON MY 'RUDE' BEHAVIOR.
**************
NOT A JOKE!!!!
So in other words....
Essential Hot Yoga is the place for You... If you like being:
**
PERSONALLY INSULTED and told how much of a PIECE OF INCONSIDERATE CRAP YOU ARE AS A PAID CUSTOMER. And also its an ideal place if you are: a young 20-something year old girl like the rest of the class who just (LIKE THE INSTRUCTOR) like to wear thong-style bikini shorts and practically NOTHING as they stick their butts up in the air and do a bunch of super-speed yoga WITH NO FOCUS WHATSOEVER ON BREATHING.
***
So I guess since I am not so-called 'fit' enough and NOT WORTHY enough to be part of MISSES JACKOBICH'S CLUB...
I'll just go ahead and forfeit all the Prepaid classes I already bought and FIND ANOTHER YOGA SCHOOL that is actually PROFESSIONAL and actually respects it students and the yoga practice itself....and values my business as a paying 'beginner class' customer.
Keep in mind....this is a 'Beginners' Yoga Class and I am NOT new to yoga.
I've done yoga for 12 years prior to my injury...including Forrest Yoga, Vinyasa, Bikram, Hot Yoga, etc...throughout major cities like: Chicago, San Diego, Portland, Daytona, etc and - THIS INSTRUCTOR WAS A TOTAL JOKE. AND A COMPLETE INSULT TO MY INTEGRITY.
~Namaste.
