I visited 105F Hot Yoga South Loop last weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The instructor, Nic, was fantastic - clear, encouraging, and provided great prompts throughout the class, which made it easy to follow and stay engaged.
The facility was spotless and well-maintained. I really appreciated that they offer everything you might need if you don’t have your own gear—towel and mat rentals are available, which is super convenient.
Overall, this studio exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a great hot yoga experience with supportive staff and a clean, well-equipped space, I highly recommend this location.

I booked on the Vinyasa 60 class at 105F and had a lovely workout, the instructor Sarah was so friendly and welcoming, as well as the other regular guests who booked on the class. I felt right at home, the class itself was challenging yet easy to take it at my own pace.

What started off as a 3 week trial has turned into a membership! I love these classes, every single one of them challenge you in different ways. No class is the same, and just when you think you know what to expect.. you’re in for a surprise! The instructors Julian, Kristen, Diana, Margarita, Kelsey, and Ashleigh have all been super knowledgeable with attention to form and super uplifting during the classes. I LOOOOVEEE and look forward to going to Pilates. Thank you!

I cannot recommend this studio enough. I came here on vacation and tried several classes — all of them were equally fun and challenging. I especially recommend taking hot pilates with Kristen or Nic!

What started off as a “let’s try out this class on ClassPass” has now turned into a full membership. The Hot Pilates classes are amazing! The instructors are all motivating and really take their time to demonstrate each workout. I’m able to visit other studio locations incase another class time works better with my weekly schedule. If you’re looking for a challenge, this is the studio for you.

This hot yoga studio is amazing. The instructors are next-level — super knowledgeable, super friendly, and you can just tell they love what they do. That kind of energy makes such a difference in a class. Beginners and seasoned yogis are all in the same room, and it just works! Also, be ready to sweat (it’s HOT yoga for real), but it’s the kind of sweat that feels sooooo good afterwards.

I recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for a new yoga place. I did Bikram yoga only and it was the best place and (location) for me that I found in Chicago. Everyone is kind and stuff is very welcoming. There are never too many people ( in other studios there is no space to move sometimes). Facilities are good too, they have showers, restrooms, lockers that are always clean!
I always enjoyed my classes there ☺️🙏🏻

105F is a mediocre yoga studio. This specific location (South Loop) lacks adequate showering facilities and sizable locker rooms considering the studios can hold 30+ people. The locker rooms specifically can only fit a handful of people comfortably and they’re a bit grimy along with smelling moldy which is why I always showered when I got home.
With respect to memberships, 105F engages in what I would argue are rather absurd and annoying business practices and require 30 day written notification to end your membership I.e. upon written notification in the current billing period they will charge you for the subsequent billing period and then your membership is canceled. This effectively serves to be a final cash grab as members leave as they charge you for the subsequent month even if you have given them say 20 days notice. Their corporate competitors Core Power Yoga don’t even engage in this practice.
With respect to the instructors, that is the only reason why I am giving 2 stars (instead of 1). Most are great people and genuinely nice with a breadth of experience that make for a great class experience.

Some of the most powerful yogi I have ever had the privilege to learn from are in this studio. Chief among them Sarah Thompson, Aura Dukynaite, who have incredible strength and discipline that will inspire you to be your best. Listen carefully also to Jennifer Kanwischer, Carey Friedman, and sweet Emily Albaran among others for their graceful nudges. They pay attention to every individual, no matter the size of the class you happen to take. Listen well during (and after!) class, as they guide you in the best possible practice you'll thoroughly enjoy in your journey toward self-betterment and living well. Namaste.

I really enjoyed this studio! I dropped in as I was in town for a few days. The process to purchase a pass was easy and straightforward. The studio itself was in great condition and very clean. I took the "Original 90" and the instructor was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will visit again next time I'm in the area.

I absolutely love this studio. Each instructor is unique but you can expect the same format for each class type. This is extremely helpful when you’re new or trying to improve your yoga practice. Everyone is really encouraging - even other patrons. This is extremely necessary considering the challenge. Each class I leave a little stronger. This studio has elevated my yoga practice and has helped heal me from the inside out.
The bathrooms/showers are clean and they provide a space to remove shoes in the lobby. The essentials are your yoga mat, towel, towel for your mat and water. An electrolyte if you feel you aren’t hydrated because you will sweat! They have everything for rent/purchase as well!

I've been a member of 105f for 11 years. I've had relationships with many yoga studios and gyms and this is the most enduring one yet! Pros: superb, long-term (many of them) instructors; variety of classes (the focus is on 26+2 but I appreciate the occasional hot Pilates, yin, and vinyasa classes, plus there have been other types/variations over time); beautiful, clean facilities, most with showers; towel and cold drink service; 3 and soon 4 locations around the city, one is right downtown near my workplace; unlimited class membership available; it's a local business with soul, not a cold, corporate experience. Cons: I've racked my brain but can't think of any!

I have been a member of 105F since the fall of 2022 and I cannot recommend 105F enough. All of the instructors and staff are very welcoming, motivating, and positive. I mostly attend the inferno hot Pilates and smart 60 hot yoga classes at the South Loop location, however I have visited all studios and taken majority of the classes 105F has to offer. I feel challenged in the best ways possible in every class! The challenges and special pop-up classes they periodically offer are always fun. Also, me and several of my friends took an in-studio private group class for my birthday - highly recommend! Cheers to 105F :)

I have recently become a member of 105F and in the last month have attended a variety of classes including the 60 & 90 minute Hot Yoga, Vin, Yin, and even hot pilates. I'm very happy overall with the studio, staff, and class offerings. The facilities are clean, and the staff are all very welcoming regardless of skill level.
I would recommend anyone to try a class at 105F!

Please please please open up a location in Hyde Park/Woodlawn. There is no Bikram and the closest to "hot" yoga/Pilates is only 95 degrees. I would be able to get an unlimited pass if you were closer to my neighborhood, but I can barely make it 1x/week in South Loop. It's a great studio with high quality instructors and facilities :)

Very disappointed with the last Pilates class I attended here. Start time was 6pm and they continued to pack in people, even after the start time. It was so crowded, there were 55+ people in this small yoga studio. You couldn’t even perform some of the Pilates moves because of how crowded it was. The instructor couldn’t even demonstrate because there was no room. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the class.
Also wish they offered more Pilates classes at the south loop location and on Saturdays.

I enjoyed the hot yoga Pilates but the yoga instructor was quite rude . It was my first time coming there and there was no instructions to come there early. Despite being on time , the yoga instructor was aggressive and continue to be aggressive towards me, yelling at me when I checked out at the end in front of everyone and tried to publicly shame me . I will never go to this place again. There are a quite few hot yoga places in the city that I will spend my time with instead .

Hot Pilates class was on fire(pun intended 🙈🥵)
Had a full body intense workout which was amazing but definitely not a beginners class if you’re not used to heated room workouts. Amenities (mats/towels/shower) are not provided for free so take your own stuff for the class.

BRING CASH! First time at this location, haven’t done hot yoga at 105F in over a year. I just needed a mat, I had a towel, the woman at the front was incredibly rude — found out that was the teacher. CANNOT USE APPLE PAY.
Overall, the facility was clean and the class was great, but the way she treated me in the beginning honestly put an incredibly sour taste is my mouth for what was supposed to be a relaxing class to put me back in touch with my body. She was very experienced, but she lacked genuine care in her voice, more as if she was running through the motions of yet another class.
PS — Mats are literally all hanging around the corner.

Really enjoy taking classes here. All the teachers are so kind and unique. I look forward to all of their classes.
While I usually get bored doing the same thing over and over, the hot yoga class where we flow through 26 specific poses is nice cause it’s easy to spot/feel improvements, which is super rewarding.
I would recommend for any levels. First couple times I went I had to lay down for the last 10 min at first, then 5, then none most of the time now! If it’s to much you don’t have to feel bad about laying down or doing whatever your body needs. They encourage you and push you in all the right ways though.

April 5, 2023. Took my first hot yoga class here this afternoon from 12 to 1 PM. 60 minute. When I walked in first thing I noticed, it was a very “chill” type of vibe. Check in was easy-fast- no hassles. When I went into the HotYoga room? I noticed right away the heat and humidity were on point! Wow, I was sweating the minute I walked in the door! Just what I was looking for. I’ve been working out 39 years. I’ve been doing hot yoga for 10 years. So I can tell you from this review what I’m saying is truthful and from experience. I love the fact that my hot yoga teacher for today did not call me out by name to try to correct my poses/postures. One thing I’ve learned with HotYoga or anything is every day is different. And every day is a challenge. There are many variables that determines how well you will do for HotYoga for the day. It was nice that I wasn’t singled out. My instructor is very chill and calm. Damn did I get a good sweat today!!! I had to sit on the bench outside and eat an orange to and cool down and get my blood sugar back to normal. That’s one damn good class. I will make this my new hot yoga studio here in CHICAGO. I can’t wait to get back to my 6 to 7 day routine. And get my body back. I found that practicing hot yoga, REGULARLY ,is the one thing that helps me to lose weight quickly, out of any other exercise routine I’ve ever done over the 39 years!!! And it helps lift and tighten my face and as a woman of a “certain age,” that’s a double bonus! Thanks 105•hotyoga studio- for helping me to get my vitality, energy, and body back!

I was visiting Chicago and came here on a deal. So glad I found this place! The classes are hot ++++ yasss! They have really nice restrooms and locker rooms. They have showers, yay! The classes were good but follow the same 26 yoga moves, similar to a yoga place I went to back home which I kinda got tired of. I also took the Pilates class which was awesome! I’d love more of the Pilates. Great place in a small business mall, close to metro stops.

Today was my first time at this hot yoga studio. I traveled from Indiana because it is the closest studio that does traditional Hot Yoga 26 posture sequence (yay!) The studio was clean, the instructor was superb, the location is convenient. I wonder about parking during the week. I found easy parking due to it being a Sunday. I think of I take the 6 am class here, I'll get similar available results. Looking forward to adding them to my weekly workout routine.

I had an amazing class. I was relaxed and feeling so good that I forgot to let my husband know it was only a 60 minute class and that I would be needing a ride. I left out the class for a bit bc my hamstrings were killing me. I texted my husband OUTSIDE the class. Without thinking I bought it back in with me not trying to miss anymore of the class. When the class was over the rudest thing ever imaginable happens. The manager turns around directly in my face and starts talking about me bringing my cell phone in in a very rude manner. She could've (should've) pulled me aside. You displayed little to no class and I was very embarrassed for you. Next time please exercise that option or a cell phone will be the very least of your worries.

I just finished my second Bikram class ever, and I must say, once I got over the initial 'I've been hit by a bus... twice' feeling, I'm loving it!
Newly. Clean, spacious studio with hardwood floors so it doesn't smell like old sweat. Changing rooms. Cubes for your stuff. Showers. Challenging yet supportive instructors. They'll even let you store your yoga mat on-site for a paltry $5/month.
Your first month is only $39 as an introductory special.
If you're a beginner, arrive hydrated with an empty stomach and be prepared to bathe in your own sweat. Seriously, I had the pruned fingers to prove it. Bring a couple bottles of water, a bath towel and a hand towel (for wiping your hands/face), and wear a headband to keep the sweat off of your face. The first 25 minutes were the hardest for me, but then the heat got me into Gumbo mode and I started moving more easily, more fluidly. You'll be so proud of what your body can do when the 90 minutes are up. It's an extremely demanding workout, no lie... but also rewarding.
I especially enjoyed this morning's session with Chris.. he walked around to check our form and was very encouraging. On my way out, he told me I did great! Just what I needed to hear in order to brave another session.
And that will be tomorrow.
