I’ve been working out with Ray and Robyn for several years now and can’t say enough great things! They’ve built such a great gym with an awesome group training program. The workouts are always challenging (in a good way!) and ADAPTABLE to any fitness level or limitations. The community is amazing. All ages and fitness levels, super supportive and never any judgement! If group workouts aren’t your thing, Ray, Robyn, Tony and Heather are also fantastic personal trainers. If you are looking for a new training program, I highly recommend this great place!

This gym is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you feel the difference—it’s not just a place to work out, it’s a community that motivates and supports you every step of the way.

The trainers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in your progress. They don’t just count reps; they teach proper technique, provide encouragement, and adapt workouts to meet your individual needs. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, you’ll always feel challenged in the best way possible.

There’s a great mix of classes, open gym time, and personalized training options, so there’s something for everyone.

But what really sets this gym apart is the atmosphere. The energy is positive, welcoming, and motivating—you actually look forward to coming in. Members cheer each other on, celebrate milestones, and make fitness feel fun instead of intimidating.

Since joining, I’ve gained strength, confidence, and friends I never expected to find in a gym. If you’re looking for a place that makes fitness feel welcoming, motivating, and actually fun—this is it. You’ll want to keep coming back, and you might just surprise yourself with what you can do.

Got hurt here. You really have to have some sort of experience and they don’t really go slow. The exercises are advanced and I didn’t get a refund and I only went maybe 3-4 times and paid for the month. I did message however no one seemed to care of my injury or not being able to return. Not the best experience obviously and lost money and now dealing with a bruised meniscus.

Adaptable PT is awesome, as are all of their trainers. I signed up for the 3 personal training sessions plus one month unlimited classes. They were so thoughtful and considerate with how they structure their offerings, making everything really flexible for your specific needs. After the 3 personal training sessions I felt (mostly) ready for the classes.

The class sizes are really manageable, never too crowded. The trainers are really attentive in making sure I have the support I need to feel comfortable with each exercise. It still feels like personal training, but with other people around doing the same thing.

Overall, I would definitely recommend regardless of what level you’re starting from. Thanks to Robyn, Tony, Ray, and Heather for helping me feel stronger!

Hands down the best trainers and community. Incredible results that matter both for longevity & overall health (and as a bonus your best body ever ;)) You will safely discover strength and abilities you had no idea you possessed under the experienced and technically overly qualified eye of Ray & Robyn in an environment that challenges you to achieve your best each day yet is non judgmental, supportive and so positive. Life altering experience! Love them ❤️

I've had a wonderful experience training at Adaptable PT. First, it's a great community of people who are looking to improve their health and get stronger.

Second, the expertise of the trainers is exceptional. I have worked out with a lot of trainers over the years and both Ray and Robyn truly have a different level of knowledge and application. They walk you through a dynamic full-body workout and you get the sense immediately that each movement is building towards the next workout. It's very methodical and purpose-built.

This is a great, challenging workout with a supportive community. It's been a pleasure training at Adaptable.

If you are serious about your fitness, strength, and personal well-being, this is your place. Coaches Ray and Robyn have exceeded any training I've ever been a part of. Since the age of 13, I have dealt with lower back degenerative disc disease. So, being physically able to do as much as possible and knowing how to properly use my body, especially having 3 kids and 1 on the way, is essential. Along with my job, a hairstylist for over years, having a strong body is so important. Knowledge is key, and these coaches have it. Group classes are awesome. One hour of your day gets you feeling amazing for your day. You hang out with like-minded people who've set their own personal goals, and we cheer each on. They also have a monthly program. You show up do what's the task for the day, and they have an app where you can mark all your sets/weights you've achieved and set goals for the next week. It's amazing to watch yourself and others grow in this space. I don't think people appreciate coaches and trainers as much as you should, maybe because you haven't met ours. Their patience and well thought out programming is the best around.

As a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD, finding a place to workout that would keep me motivated and accountable to show up and push myself has been a challenge. Robyn and Ray were willing to meet with me so that we could discuss how they operate and tour the facility. They were both great at answering all my questions and addressing my concerns.
I have just begun attending their training sessions under their generous free trial period! I cannot say enough good things about them and their place so far! It has exceeded my goals and is a very motivating experience, that holds me accountable to make it in each day!
Since leaving the military, I’ve struggled with working out on my own. I miss the group PT that the military requires. This is the first place where I’ve received exactly that; a motivated group of great people to workout with. There is no judgement, no showing off, only people giving their best while encouraging you to do the same. I haven’t been to a gym in years and have gained nearly 100 pounds since beginning PTSD treatment. Whatever your fitness level is, or whatever your goals are, they will work with you!

I have been training with Ray, Robyn, and Tony for a few years now and without a doubt I have no desire to go anywhere else or to train with anyone else. I have learned so much from them, regained my confidence, have seen gains over the years, and progressing to heavier lifts. I have also made the bestest friends because they have cultivated an amazing community who support each othern day in and day out.

Fantastic trainers, great pricing and the App they use is really good for scheduling and viewing/keeping track of workouts. For those that are apprehensive to try, you can make the classes as easy as you need them to be by adjusting your weights and working
Up from there.

Been here since opening…Can’t say enough about how amazing these trainers are. You won’t be disappointed. The workouts are challenging but never the same. They continue to encourage you to get the most out of each exercise. Even if you have never worked with kettlebells or barbells, you get hooked.

I have been at AdaPTable since day 1, but have been working out with Ray & Robyn for years. They are super knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and motivating! They not only opened an amazing gym, but also gave us all an opportunity to form a community and when we work out, we don’t only workout with gym buddies, but with friends! Love my mornings at adaptable!

The coaches here are knowledgeable and encouraging- they value form and technique before strength so you know you’ll be doing movements safely without injury. If you’re a beginner, don’t be shy or intimidated. If you’re not new to strength and conditioning then this place is also for you- the coaches have a well thought out program that changes monthly. Never gets boring and it’s great to see improvement week by week. You should stop by and try it out!!

I have been training with Ray and Robyn for two years now and I’m so happy they opened up their own place! Adaptable is a great personal training space where you get coaching and a monthly program designed to build strength and mobility through learning a skill set that can last you a lifetime. I highly recommend coming in for a free trial to see for yourself!

I’ve been training at Chicago Family Fit for well over 5 years. I’ve worked with Kyle, Gabe and Brian for personal training services and have been extremely satisfied. All very knowledgeable and always professional.

As an athlete, expertise in the area of sports specific training is a big factor. Since training at CFF, I’ve surpassed my initial goals and the benefits I’ve seen on the sports side have far exceeded my expectations. CFF is the go-to for training in Park Ridge.

Perfect location for a great workout. I have been training with Brian at Chicago Family fitness ever since COVID hit (June 2020). Brain is an amazing personal trainer and the owner of the facility is very friendly. The gym has all the equipment for a great workout. The gym and equipment is kept clean and tidy.

I have been working out with the owner, Kyle, at Chicago Family Fit for 3 years now. He has really helped me increase my balance, muscle tone, and fitness levels and is excellent at making workout routines that fit me and work around my knee issues and foot issues. I truly love working out there and I've never liked working out prior to attending Chicago Family Fit.

Best Massage Therapist. Beth of New Leaf Massage and Bodywork located at Chicago Family Fit has a beautiful & tranquil space where I often visit. The place is amazing, friendly & clean. Beth is a fantastic massage therapist. She really listens and is really committed to helping her clients achieve total wellness thru massage therapy. I always learn more about my body & wellness every time I visit Beth. I will be back again and again. My husband visits her as well and cannot say enough good things about her and her practice.

First off, let me say, if you are having any doubt about personal training, go see Kyle at Chicago Family Fit. I am getting married at the end of this year and had been working out by taking fitness classes at the community center for about six months. I was losing interest and getting bored with the same classes, the same routines in the same order every week and had stopped seeing any results. That’s when I decided it was time to see a personal training. To me, this was a scary thought because I felt out of shape and intimidated about what my perception of a personal trainer was. I didn't want to be judged about being out of shape by some super intense, super fit trainer that made me feel bad about needing help getting in shape. Kyle is the exact opposite of all my preconceived notions and I can honestly say it was one of the best moves that I have ever made for myself. Kyle (and Gabe) work with your fitness level and make things more challenging as you progress. They give the right amount of “push” when all you want to do is sit down and stop and they mix things up at every session. I have never been bored once during a work out and I leave Chicago Family Fit feeling sweaty and really good about the great work out I just had. In just three months, I feel and look better, have a more endurance and can see changes happening. I highly recommend Chicago Family Fit to anyone looking to get in shape and this is coming from a girl who used to hate working out and now I look forward to my twice a week sessions.

I had a negative personal trainer experience at large gyms and always avoided it until I went to Kyle. He creates a perfect atmosphere at his gym that allows to focus on the workout without any distractions. The gym is always clean and very inviting with motivational signs and music (selected by trainees). Kyle is a very dedicated and knowledgeable trainer with unlimited energy and motivation. My wife started going to him 2 years ago with back issues and he fixed it for her with a custom workout plan. In addition, Kyle motivated her to continue working out and now she is all about exercising, yoga, running, etc. You definitely cannot find that anywhere else. I go to his gym 5-6 times a week for over a year and always look forward to my sessions because I know I will get the best workout possible. Throughout workouts Kyle is always willing to explain the exercises, which has taught me many valuable points that will prevent me from getting hurt when I workout on my own. The exercise plan Kyle creates is tailored to each person and the exercises are always changing. The gym contains very few machines, but a lot of equipment (kettle-bells, free weights, bench press, pull up bars, TRX, ladder climber, etc) that allows to perform many diverse exercises. Everyone who attends Kyle's gym from all ages are very motivated and friendly. A testament to that is the recent client BBQ at Kyle's house had a big turn out with everyone very happy to see each other and make new friends with folks from the gym. Kyle is very down to earth and always smiling, which makes going to his gym a very enjoyable experience for individuals and families. You really get your money's worth with Kyle and his prices are very competitive compared to big gyms or anyone else!
