I left my Beats headphones by accident on August 6th, The next day I remembered and called the manager. I told him if he could look at the cameras for me to see if they saw who took them. The manager told me they had found some. I went back to look, but they weren’t mine; just some cheap headphones. $ 350 headphones got stolen from this gym. You would think they would have found the person that took them since they have cameras, and it’s not like it’s a big commercial gym. I’m still upset about this. It’s also crazy how they couldn’t pinpoint who took them since I gave them the time and date. I don’t like thieves, and I would never take anything I found. I guess not everyone thinks like me. I go to the Gurnee gym and never had an issue there. Their issue is that there are different owners but the same company .

Yeah this gym is trash. It seems like they hire different people to charge and keep charging to stay in business. Read the fine prints before signing. Other gyms offer free massages and tan, sauna . The weird trainer told me I can cancel whenever and charged me for the year fee and the month. Now they want 39 + another month of cancelation fees... I thought military men are better than that. I personally was joining to be a a marine. They just take people's routines and send people to intimidate others. I suggest you sell that gym scott lol

I canceled my membership in November 2024 didn't get charged for December so I thought it was officially canceled. January 2025 comes along and im still getting charges. It's not March and I'm still paying for Aira. I have contacted the owner several times and yet nothing has been solved. No money return no other option has been given.

Absolutely love this gym! I’m very comfortable there, the equipment is great. I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer, Stephen is very knowledgeable and reliable, he makes this journey fun for me. Definitely recommend this gym!

Very small, stuffy, dingy, feels like someone’s garage.
Whoever is in customer service is terrible. They make excuses for not understanding a simple question. Overpriced, I wouldn’t pay over $30 a month for a 24 hour gym, especially when they’re trying to get new customers in. This is at least $50 a month last time I checked. I’m giving 2 stars because I feel bad for them, but the quality of everything is not good

Now it's called hope fitness... Place is run down equipment need updating and repairs but no one maintains it. Bathrooms are always dirty. Front door you have to scan yourself in and it's hit or miss if it will work.

Tired to cancel my membership no one answers or gets back to you. The only way I could cancel and not get charged was to cancel my card on file. What a joke.

Place is run by someone who clearly has zero experience owning a gym and communication skills. Just wants to take your money and run.

Went in for a free trial via a very misleading Facebook post, and was charged over $300. Now no one is responding to Facebook messages that they were QUICK to respond to just yesterday, and there’s NO contact information anywhere. Don’t even bother with them.

This place is horrible, do not go here because all they’ll do is steal your money. I have to constantly dispute the monthly reoccurring Im being charge after stating through various emails and texts that I would like to cancel my membership. There has not been no response and I even had to drive up to the gym.. what a surprise..no worker either.

Canceled after only 3 months. Machines always broken, always out of sanitizer and spray, bathrooms dirty with overflowing trash bins and machines very dirty and not taken care of. I called numerous times about these issues and it was not fixed. Pricing was way too high for lack of care this place gave. I tried calling, texting and emailing for weeks until I threatened to challenge the charges with my bank did someone reach out to me that if I did, they would "sue" me. Was not afraid of this since i was mislead in charges and they canceled my last month prematurely even though I paid first AND last month when I signed up. Very terrible customer service! Do not give them your money as they will keep charging you even when you cancel!

Place as taken a turn for the worst. Been a member since it opened. And it has only had one good manager since his name was Alex and is no longer here.

The gym’s heat is never working it’s an issue every winter here along with the AC in the summer time.

From what I hear people are paying $60.00 a month here witch is outrageous for what you get.

Bathrooms are always a mess here

Gym equipment is falling apart due to lack of maintenance. One of the ellipticals has been broken for 8 plus months and nuts and bolts are falling off the equipment.

Owner of this location clearly has no idea how to run a gym. I will also add emails, text or phone call are never answered.

BEWARE!!!! I can’t even begin to describe how awful this place is. Especially the Grayslake location. They have horrible business practices. The lured me in by calling to say I won a raffle. I supposedly won a membership for 6 free months. I came in and met with Olivia to claim my prize. I was very clear about not wanting to enroll into a membership. Olivia said I had to put a card on file to pay a $25 deposit for the key fob…which was understandable. I obliged. They had me sign for my transaction on some type of iPad. Less than 6 months later, I find out I’ve been bamboozled! The whole thing was very misleading and deceptive. Definitely bait and switch vibes! At the time, I didn’t know I was signing a membership contract, but apparently when I signed for my card receipt on the iPad, I signed a whole contract. They have now charged my card for one month of membership $40 (prematurely). I caught the charge many days later and demanded a refund. Now, nobody is available to return my calls, nor text or emails. They won’t even staff the gym for me to come in and drop the key fob off to cut ties. The one time I was successful with reaching Olivia, she stated she couldn’t give me a refund under any circumstances. Mind you, I explained to her that I’m currently 9 months pregnant and on bed rest, but she still refused to give me a refund. She said she’d have to ask “corporate” about it. Now, they won’t take my calls, nor answer texts or emails. There’s no way there’s some big “corporation” backing these shady business practices. I can’t even believe they’re still in business. Stay away from this place. Their gym is filthy and it’s not even worth $40/month. They have no integrity and make their living from ripping people off. They don’t care about their customers! They are very, very, ghetto at best! Just raggedy!

This place is garbage ever since Alex left. He always took initiative to take care of the clients. Talking to Kate today to cancel my membership I felt awful for her, she needed to send me a picture of the cancellation form NOT a PDF, not an Email a picture to fill out the fields on the form on a different piece of paper to send back to cancel membership! Then charge me $25 if I didn’t have my key fab to turn in. When I asked her about turning it in, I needed to make an appointment to make sure someone was there. Kate, your manager aka “corporate” as you told me when I asked who is in charge, is setting you up for failure and lots of upsetting phone calls from clients. There’s a training issue, which is a reflection on management aka “corporate”.

Alex always made communication easy but it seems he's no longer in charge 😕 the office is always locked. I've been on a month/month basis since September of last year and was trying to get in touch with someone to tell them I will no longer be doing boot camp and have them stop the recurring payments. So far the voice mail is full and has been for the longest. I also have texted and emailed with no luck . There's a magical portal that only they know about on how to cancel online. Well atleast they never said anything about this or how it works or to have it set up. Since I know for a fact I was only doing a month/month basis I just canceled my credit card and made sure I have the emailed copy from when I initiated boot camp. I must say that most of these comments on management and cancelation has proven to be quite true. 🤔

Adriano Cortez (Adrian Ortega) failed to show for a prepaid session (6 purchased) he no call, no showed and I requested a refund because he's unprofessional and continued wasting my time. He stalled, gave excuses, wasted my time some more and I still don't have my money for the sessions. Stop letting him work there.

DESPAIR and DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Passing through a nightmarish helplessness. My wife joined gym with lot of verve and enthusiasm betting on personal trainer who’s none other than owner of the gym; paying a hefty sum. Barring few instances, the guy never turns up; giving lame excuses n when asked to give back our money; he becomes discreet and eventually stops responding with name sake texts. We are not going renege till we get back our due, though this Christmas will go as one of the darkest in recent times. Friends be aware!!!

DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Took $1300 for a personal training with Adrian and just 6 sessions in 1month. He has been giving reasons and didn’t turn up for the training at all. Finally after waiting for 2 weeks with no training, asked for reimbursement and he keeps dodging. Gives all kinds of reasons and not paying me back my money. I don’t recommend this fraud place at all. Terrible service and cheating customers of hard earned money.

They Keep charging me for monthly dues even though I have informed them that we never authorized monthly payment. We bought a 1 year ONLY subscription. We were assured by the owner that it was close ended year and that we could either do another year or not. We joined February 2020, so only had about a month before Covid closed it down. Then, approx November 2020, we started getting emails stating our monthly payment was due. WOW, so 9 months instead of a year! Also, no extension for Covid! I have texted, emailed, called, to try to get them to stop. The emails saying we have a balance due keeps coming. I am going to contact the Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau.

Read old reviews and it scared me off a little, but I found out it was under NEW MANAGEMENT. So I decided to try it out and..

Honestly I have come in and really enjoyed my workouts. Mainly, most of the time I come in there isn't too many people here. It's very peaceful. Very clean and organized. Alex, the owner or man in charge, is a great dude. He is cool to chat with when he is around and he even helps you in your workouts if you need it! Plus free water and towels and the all time perk 24/7!! I am loving it!!

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have over 2 dozen emails that I have sent in, as well as left messages at multiple locations. Mike Bell is rude in his responses and tells you to "simply log on and cancel" but then when you tell him you do not have access to any portal, he ignores you completely. I have disputed over $300 in charges from them due to my not authorizing them. The charges are not consistent either- for instance today I received two charges each for $.081 and about two weeks ago I received two charges each for $39.00. Horrible mistake on my part to consider this place.

I was charged during the mandatory quarantine. Also i would like to cancel my membership, but you need some specific cancellation form! That is not easily accessible, these place don’t have staff regularly . So I have to go to different gyms in hopes, of actually seeing someone.
