After having the chance to workout at the America’s Gym, I realized there’s so many equipments I haven’t seen in my 12 years of bodybuilding experience that you can’t find in any other gym! Everything is always very clean and the machines are never broken and always well-oiled. I’ve been a member here for over a year now and this is hands down the best gym in the Chicago area! There are so many unique machines. The place is always spotless. The other members are very friendly. You will rarely see a machine “out of order”. The owner himself handles the maintenance and it gets done quick! They have an amazing posing room as well. The moment you step inside this place, you know and feel the difference between this gym and the commercial gyms. It's something very special. Been a member now at Americas gym for about 6 months. Let me tell you, I’ve been to many gyms and this is by far not only the best kept from a cleanliness standpoint, but the best equipment by far and the culture is incredible. Tons of hard working individuals that are extremely friendly, inspirational as well as helpful in the gym. Many would say it could be intimidating there because of the high level fitness individuals, but they are more supportive than any gym you’ll go to.

I’d give it less than one if I could. The front desk girl wants to spread rumors and gossip about members and former members. The owner himself runs the gym like its own personal social club. A lot of bodybuilding coaches have left the gym with their team. Once you get over the allure of the “cool” pieces it just an over priced gym.

Very nice and clean gym. Went around noon so wasn’t too busy. Only had one platform for barbell lifting and two (2) squat racks. Has plenty of accessory machines (some I haven’t even seen before). Machines are a little crowded together so I can see it getting kinda tight when it’s busy. Plenty of mirrors as well. Not a whole lot of room for floor stretching/movements. Cool hallway of past pro bodybuilding champions.

BEST GYM IN ILLINOIS! Should be in The United States top 10 gyms of all time! This gym has some of the best trainers named Shane and Veronica for example! The owner Brian dedicates a lot of time and money into making this gym top tier! People who don’t know the value of a great gym don’t understand. This is not a meat head gym. One thing that can improve is the music selection. It’s hit or miss and sometimes it’s so low you can hear more of the people talking in the gym versus the music. A jukebox would be SUPER cool in a gym like this or even a pay to play day where customers could pay $5 per track to have their song of choice played in case they forget their headphones or just want that one song played for a new PR or to get the gym energy up. I’d definitely pay! ☺️ Also the prices of the gym membership are super cheap for a gym of such great state of the art equipment! Some people still find a reason to complain or go to cheap gyms. But you can’t win em all!

This gym is a rare gem, it hands down has the best collection of equipment I have ever seen in one place. If you are looking to put some serious work In no matter what discipline you train, they have all the equipment you could ever want in excellent condition. From heavy dumbbells 165lbs plus to three separate and different styles of vertical leg press, as well as numerous new and old school machines, this gym is a rarity. The only complaint I have is that it is not in my home state so that I could make it my permanent gym. The owners are very welcoming and kind, you cannot go wrong with being a member here.

I’ve been going to America’s Gym for over a year now and can easily say it’s the best gym I’ve ever been apart of. The atmosphere and community is unmatched. I’ve been going to public gyms since the day after I graduated high school. I’ve gone to big corporate gyms, fancy gyms, hardcore meat head gyms and nothing has come close to this.

If you feel intimidated by this type of gym, please don’t be, this gym is full of considerate people that will either take their time to help you learn the machine or help with form and members are quick to let you work in if you ask.

A lot of my friends I’ve made over the years at different gyms have all been switching over to here but I’ve also made a ton of new friends at America’s Gym as well.

If that didn’t convince you, the owner Brian takes pride in his gym and welcomes everyone with a tour of how to use every piece of equipment. If you have a suggestion on new equipment or handles, or a machine is broken, he is always quick to act.

I don’t write many google reviews but for America Gym I can make an exception. This gym is truly a special place with almost a family / team like atmosphere. The owner Brian is truly one of the best gym owners out there and he cares about each and every one of his members. Whether you’re a beginner on their first day or an IFBB pro, he’s got your back and you’ve got his ear. I actually can’t stand many in fitness industry, but Brian is a man of integrity, dedication and honor. He’s the first one in gym at times and last one to leave.

The equipment here is truly next level. I’m super critical of gym equipment and I have zero complaints. Brian constantly brings in new equipment and is determined to set the stand of excellence. Weights and equipment is out away and machines are cleaned daily.

Do yourself a favor and check this gym out. Converse with Brian , take a tour and get a sweat in. I’m there everyday in time frame of 7:30-9:30. I’d love to introduce myself and explain how great of a gym this is if you’re aren’t sure.

I've been on the hunt for a gym like this for ages, and honestly, I didn't think I'd ever find something similar nearby. But then, I stumbled upon America's Gym by chance, and it completely blew me away. The equipment is off the charts, and the place has this awesome touch of nostalgia. Brian, the owner, is super chill and welcoming, and you can totally see his love for the fitness lifestyle and his gym. It's a breath of fresh air in a world dominated by those corporate box gyms. I'm stoked to be a member here!

This gym is one of a kind. Everyone in Illinois is incredibly lucky to have it in their backyard. Amazing equipment, the owner is incredibly down to earth and always willing to help, just a great atmosphere to train and be in.

I am obsessed with America's Gym. Walking into this gym is like no other. Along with your typical equipment, there are machines that reach every muscle I have never seen before. It is like a fitness person in a candy shop. The members all have similar goals whether they are bodybuilders or just trying to stay in shape. Brian, who is also a firefighter, is the owner and actively involved. He can answer any question and very hands on. Need a trainer? He can get you one. I prefer Shane, Child of Iron as an onsite and online trainer. Heads up, if you want to try the gym, call first as it is a fob system to enter.

Never leave reviews, but I felt obligated because of how great it is. I stopped in tonight and got a guest pass with my buddy. Best gym I’ve ever stepped foot in! Amazing equipment, super clean, incredible atmosphere. Everyone here is knowledgeable and willing to help you with your workout to get it to the most effective level it can be. I have been training in gyms for the last 25 years and have trained at some big name gyms. I have been to gold's gym Venice, muscle beach, quads gym, USA gym, Dragon's Lair and more, this gym has them all beat in my opinion. Brian has legitimately put this place on the map and it is now a destination gym.

We have been training here for a bit and I couldn't be happier with the place and my decision. The gym is never crowded and even if there are more people than usual, you never have to wait on anything. The equipment is legitimately second to none and I have never seen some of it before. Everyone there is focused on goals and gains and there is zero rift raft. I was sick and tired of the sarm goblins/ tiktok kids at commercial gyms and came here.

Stop in for a workout and you will not regret it.

10/10 would highly recommend this Gym. Great environment filled with great people from the owner/staff to the patrons. HUGE selection of old-school and unique gym equipment sure to give you a run for your money and endurance. If you're truly into fitness, mainly lifting, I would definitely check America's Gym out.

I dropped in last Saturday after seeing pictures and hearing nothing but good stories about this gym.
The owner Brian greeted me at the front desk and took almost 30 minutes to give me a tour and explained most machines to me. After I started working out, I noticed he did the same thing for every drop in.
That alone is something you will not find anywhere else.
From talking to Brian, you can tell he is extremely proud of the work he put in and rightfully so.
The machines are top notch, very unique und well maintained.
Anyone who’s looking to train in a environment, surrounded by serious lifters should consider this gym.

Top notch equipment. Owner is super knowledgeable about every piece. Super clean!!! The missing 5th star is for the lack of space. The machines are so close together its hard to walk between them to put weights on some of them. However I understand this is a new gym. I am hoping somehow the owner,Brian, will expand sometime soon. Can't wait till there are more locations...🤞
